Here in Ionia I'm known as Syndra, well only few know me as Syndra most prefer the Dark sovereign it would be an understatement to say that I took pride in that. I honestly love how some people cower in fear when they hear that title.

However there has been a certain someone who has decided to reign a bit of chaos and have some fun in he it doesn't admit it I know that in the bottom of his heart, he enjoys what he does.

Whenever I bring that topic up he merely shrugs it off saying ' only does what needs to be done'. We have met on several occasions and I'd say that we have become close allies.

I mean I totally gets where he's coming is not gonna change over the course of all it's leaders having a tea party and talking about god knows what.

He's trying his best to change Ionia in his own way. I'd join his cause, but it's just too much give that man some credit-

"Hey Syndra are you here?"

Closing my book I was writing in I replied with a 'give me a moment'.

He can easily come into my little temple that I call home, but being the gentleman he is he usually calls out and almost on every occasion never enters my home.

I jogged to my front door after hiding my book. I opened my door and to my surprise nobody was there. A tap to my shoulder was all it took, I turned ready to throw my balls.

"Whoa, calm down there don't want more balls than I already have." Zed said while laughing quietly.

"I swear to god Zed one day I'm actually going to kill you." Syndra replied angrily.

He faked a heartbreak placing a hand to his chest and dramatically falling. Syndra just shook her head to this, amused as his attempts at humour. He took his little victory and shadow jump to her dining table.

She followed suit albeit taking her time.

"Ahem, if milady wouldn't mind I think some tea to welcome your most esteemed guest would be absolutely splendid."

If it was any other person she would've already killed them, with Zed this sort of banter occurs often and she got used to it.

She went to proceed with the making of the two cups of tea. She placed her cup of tea on her end of table, walked over to Zed.

"Your tea gracious one, shall you be satisfied with this act of obedience." Syndra replied with a little smug smile.

"You keep this up and I might visit more often." Zed said while receiving his cup.

A moment of silence, they looked at each other and had a laughing fit at their little exchange.

Syndra went and took her seat, Zed lifted his mask up just enough to reveal his mouth and started sipping. It took everything in Syndra to not stare at those glossy, luscious lips.

"I've said this before and I'll say it again, your tea is always delightful" Zed complimented.

It's true, he says it every time he drinks her tea, and she would always respond with a nod and a little rosiness in her cheeks.

"I assume you came here do to more than just compliment me on my tea brewing abilities." Syndra asked as she started sipping at her own tea.

"Well that depends on what your asking about." Zed sneakily replied trying to catch Syndra off-guard, it worked for a few seconds.

After Syndra fully processed what he meant by that, well her tea wasn't so enjoyable anymore, and it went on the table.

"That's disgusting, goddamit Zed now I got to clean this mess up." Syndra said through her coughs.

Zed on the contrary was having the time of his life, fallen to the floor and clutching at his stomach. After calming himself down he heard the front door being closed with force. He realized that maybe he went a little too far.

He cleaned the table clear of coughed up tea. and decided to take his own cup and follow Syndra.

She was at the edge of her floating Island, and had her arms wrapped around her knees.

If Zed had to guess she was probably muttering about how stupid and inconsiderate he is. His enhanced hearing due to his powers confirmed his guess.

He slowly crept up to her and offered her his cup of tea, while seating himself beside her. Syndra begrudgingly took the cup and started sipping once again.

A peaceful silence had claimed them, Zed although enjoying the moment breaks it.

"The view here always amazes me."

"It kind of gets dull though, if you see it everyday." Syndra replied seemingly deciding to forgive him.

Zed smiled knowing he was forgiven, but decided to mutter an apology anyway.

"I thought I spilt all my tea." Syndra asked.

"You did." Zed replied with some confusion in his metallic voice.

"Wait, then where did you get more tea?" Syndra inquired.

"It's my cup." Zed casually replied.

Syndra looks back at him then back at the cup. 'I indirectly kissed him' was the phrase going through her head, as she gently placed one of her fingers on her lips.

Her heart was pounding, her mind kept replaying that phrase and her whole face started to grow more thank god Zed wasn't looking.

"Syndra are you okay, your face seems a little red." Zed not fully realizing what he did grew concerned.

Syndra might as well have a tantrum at this point, her face grew more red as he started to lean in.

"You don't look so good, maybe you should get to bed." Zed suggested.

Once he was about to leave, he felt a weight on his left turned knowing Syndra was probably laying her head on him.

"Just a little while longer." She meekly said.

Zed couldn't refuse and decided to be her pillow and continued to watch the sunset.

The End
