Hello all my fellow dark dwellers… DarkLordShadow1 here bringing you another chapter in the ever growing world of MHA/RWBY in following Rakana, now the newest student in UA, that he's now flung into this world of heros and finding himself. I never thought a lot of you guys would like this theme for bringing two of similar sounding source materials together in seeing how it would play out. To ask a question as well, thanks to my friend 3rdDragneel, I would first have actually Rakana and….Weiss be a couple first before Hado and Rakana. To me something about building Rakana to become more of a developed character than having him be a hardass all the time and not have him open up during a relationship. So I felt that having a previous relationship in how Weiss as a character could actually help him open up a bit more in that tears down his wall to become a little more vulnerable in how he is starting to see everyone not as enemies all the time. Also I'm actually going to make him a part of class 2-A instead because it seems to be more of not just having 1-A get all the attention. So yeah enough of that and hopefully it works for everyone, and maybe not start too much of ship war lol. Last time we've seen Yang and Rakana have a friendly 'sparring' match in later results to him, reluctantly, joining the school. Little did they know that deep in the underbelly of Tokyo's streets the League of Villains was planning their next move. And something with one of their members Toga having some kind of connection with Rakana. Now his new life as a student is beginning: Chapter 3 - The First Day.

*In the hallways of UA*

Just an average everyday at UA High as the students are going about their normal lives as they make their way to classes, lunch, etc. Though something feels like some tension in the air as a pair of students make their way down from class 1-A. Seeing this new student caused a bunch of girls to squeal a bit in excitement from the new student rocking the new freshly tailored uniform: Rakana. Walking by his side is someone that really got the gossip even juicer, and even more embarrassing, was his 'guide' here in the school: Nejire Hado.

"Oh my gosh… do you think Hado landed the transfer student," One of the female students mentioned as the two walk by.

"Oh girl… you know that someone 'like that' could land anyone she'd like," The girl's friend suggested gesturing about Hado's figure making it sound that she would be looked at by anyone.

Rakana notices a lot of those comments and turns to look back at those girls making those comments. The atmosphere just got colder when he looked back, his serious glare looking at them, and Hado poked him to get his attention back.

"What?" Rakana whipped around to see Hado next him with a worried look.

"You don't have to listen to all that gossip you know," Hado gestures as they continue to walk down the hallways, "None of that stuff is bad you know?"

"I never like hearing things behind my back," Rakana lowered his head trying to hide his scowl to not get anymore looks there way, "I can't believe you students just walk on by and ignore all these damn comments behind your back."

As the two moved down the hall Hado noticed two people they met before, "Hey Deku… Uraraka… over here!"

Hado left Rakana as she ran over to the two surprising the couple, almost giving Deku a heart attack, "How's everything going with you two?"

Rakana watched as she started a conversation with the two but he didn't really care about what's happening and looked out the window they were next to. Looking out towards the city he can't help but feel sort of nostalgic, he actually missed being out there not having to deal with so many people.

"Why did I say yes?... What the hell is wrong with me?" Rakana thought over his decision about joining this school, even though he felt that he had a knee jerk reaction to his decision.

As Rakana seemed to daydream, Hado and the others were having a quick conversation even though their conversation seemed to revolve around him being with Hado.

"So Hado… how's your date going with Rakana?" Ochako asked her while trying to hide that she's embarrassed to ask someone about their personal life.

Hado fidgeted in place trying to not show too much embarrassment but Uraraka understands where she's coming from, "To be honest… he's quite mysterious. He does like the arena where we hold our practices for search and rescue."

"Really?" Uraraka leaned in closer to get a better understanding, while blocking out a lot of the noise that is filling the space, "Well he did seem to be pretty comfortable around the grunginess of the ally where we found him."

Hado and uraraka continued to have their little chat while Deku, unnoticeably, moved closer to where Rakana was standing. The young boy nervously reintroduced himself hoping that the new student would remember him at least.

"Hey… uh Rakana?" Deku moved inch by inch in trying to reintroduce himself to the more 'postured' young man, "Do you by any chance… remember me-"

Deku was just about to finish asking his question when Rakana turned and met him with his stare at Deku causing the young hero to shake vigorously reminding him of his conversations with Bakugo.

"It's Midoriya isn't it," Rakana stood motionlessly, just nonchalant about what's happening, looking at the gittering young hero he reached out to him.

Deku, unsure about what was going on, closed his eyes in response if he annoyed Rakana in any way but instead felt a stern grip on his shoulder and he stopped shaking, almost feeling calm. When he opened his eyes he could see that Rakana actually stopped him from shaking and then just stood there looking at him.

"Midoriya…. Right? Yeah I remember," Rakana explained as he took his hand off Midoriya's shoulder and placed it back in his pocket.

"Holy Crap that was really close! Not even Kacchan would do that!" Midoriya looked at him a bit calmer now and saw the height difference between them, Rakana almost reminded him of Iida's height, "So what exactly did you do when you're out there on your own?"

Rakana turned his head back out the window, looking back towards the city, and then back to Deku and closed his eyes, "I was simply doing what a lot of heroes refused to do."

Deku looked at him concerned with what he meant as he could hear the grief but also sternness in his voice, "By the things heroes refused to do you mean-?"

"I killed villains… does answer your damn question." Rakana grunted looking away from Deku acting a bit frustrated from the question.

"Oh sorry didn't mean to offend by any means," Deku tried to deflate the situation in typical Deku fashion (a bit of arm waving and stuttering).

"No… It's my bad. Didn't mean to come off a bit hostile," Rakana said, bowing his head.

"NO NONONONO it's fine I tend to get some of those responses from another classmate," Deku mentions as he laughs off this awkward moment these two are in.

Rakana lifted his head back up and began to walk away but stopped next to Deku and assured a little advice in his ear, "Just a heads up… your fighting style could use a little refining. Talk to me if you want."

Deku's eyes lit up a bit, here Rakana who's been here for almost a full few days, gave him some advice even though some people thought of him as being tempered, and quite with a lot of people. Deku sees that Rakana has the heart of a hero but just doesn't wish to express it and he feels that he should come out and ask about it on his own time. As Rakana walked away while Hado followed him, Uraraka walked up to her boyfriend and tugged his sleeve a bit to grab his attention.

"So… what was he like Deku?" Uraraka asked him out of curiosity that she wanted to know a lot of the details.

"Well… it's like people said he's quiet," Deku muttered as he still saw the other two walking down the hall, "But I think there's more to him than some people think of him."

Uraraka looked back at Rakana and back to Deku, unsure about that comment she smiled though knowing that she still sees Deku smiling about the young man she believes can open up not just to them but to everyone else here at UA.

*Evening, near the dorms*

"Sorry if today seemed to be nothing but walking around and showing you things," Hado said as she walked along a wall above Rakana as the near the dorm buildings.

"It's fine… really," Rakana said looking away knowing from the angle he's in he can see up her skirt, "It wasn't really that bad to be honest."

Hado looked down to see that he's looking away. She thought to herself for a little bit but she understood why he's looking away. She looked down at the angle blushing a little bit. She immediately stops and she jumps down using her quirk to float down in front of him tilting her body to look into his eye, "Did you see?"

Rakana coughed in shock at the question and looked at Hado all wide eyed and speechless. Hado simply gave him an innocent smile. Rakana simply looked at her with jaw wide open as he could feel hado moving closer to him and closed his mouth for him and ran her hand run off of his face causing the two to blush as they looked into eachothers eyes. Hado realizes what she's doing, or about to do, and moves back leaving the thought of what exactly was going to happen between her and Rakana. Hado gave him her smile, and still blushing, she began to walk away to go back to her own dorm area.

"Well… the dorms are over there and they'll help you unwind and get set up for your new room," Hado mentions as she moves by him, her hair flowing in the wind, "Tomorrow we'll be having our first practice match with heroes and villain training."

"Is that really necessary?" Rakana turns to face her cocking his eyebrow, "Haven't you all have enough experience going up against villains that I have heard that you guys have gone up again?."

"That may be true but it doesn't hurt to have some more help in honing your skills," Hado turned to give him the thumbs up and smile. After that she walked away as Rakana saw this cute girl walking away giving him a question in his mind.

Rakana looked at his watch when he realized that it's basically time for him to get settled into his new room at the dorms. As Rakana neared the dorm building he stopped when he heard some kind of melody in his ear that caught his attention. He checked around to see who was there but continued his way to the front door. Rakana finally reached the front door and noticed his briefcase with his new suit next to the door. He reached for the door knob and the door flew open causing Rakana to jump back a foot activating his quirk creating a blood wrist blade.

"SURPRISE…. WELCOME TO UA!" A group of voices yelled out at him as he stood firm in his fighting stance unaware of the surprise greeting at first.

"WOAH WOAH… easy there Rakana," Momo came running out, in her relaxed attire including a pink blouse and red sweats, trying to stop him from attacking without a reason, "It's okay it's just to welcome you."

Rakana grunted, like saying 'what', Momo showed to see everyone who's involved holding a banner and a cake to welcome him in the school. Rakana eased up deactivating his quirk bringing his blood back into his body causing a few of the class members to feel ill.

"Coming from me that's a little disturbing," A pink haired girl mentions covering her mouth trying not to gag at the sight.

"We shouldn't make any assumptions Ashido… it's not like anything we haven't seen before," A young man with a bird-like head mentions this to the girl.

"Still Tokoyami… I think it may be a little 'much," Ashido mentions trying to hide her look.

Momo guides him in carefully, just getting him comfortable, as Rakana moves in he notices that even a few members from RWBY, especially Yang, are there to welcome him in. Rakana looks around feeling this atmosphere being so welcoming it almost started to make his stomach turn. His thoughts were put at ease when he sees that Uraraka is bringing his 'welcome to the class' cake and he looks like he's getting emotional.

"I hope… this is okay," Uraraka mentioned as she was starting to get a little shy, "We just… We just wanted to do something nice and also a thanks from myself, Deku and Momo for your help with that villain."

Rakana takes the knife from the plate and slices off a piece, "Well they offered so why the hell not?"

Everyone looked in awe and astonishment in trying to hear what he thought of the cake, especially that Sato, hoping that he doesn't feel offended that they did this without his knowing. As Rakana took his time with his slice of cake everyone else around him was mingling and having a blast. Rakana finished his slice of cake and walked away without saying a word but was instead stopped by Yang string arming him.

"Ugh… Really?!" Rakana felt annoyed by rubbing his chest looking at Yang cocking his eyebrow.

"Oh what you think you can just leave without saying anything," Yang stood in front of him all flirtatious not letting him go anywhere, "You could've at least give an opinion about the cake. Ruby and that sugar guy made it at least."

Yang gestures over to where her sister Ruby, and the sugar hero Sato, were eating and stuffing themselves with extra slices of cake. Ruby looks like she's in heaven having a nact for sugary sweets while Sato stood by her just happy that he's found someone that they can share a passion for sweets. Yang looked back and noticed Rakana wasn't there anymore. As she turned to see that he's waving goodbye to her as the doors to the elevators closed she huffed in disappointment in wanting to tease him a bit more but instead just went back to the party.

In the elevator Rakana notices that no one else is inside as he wiped off a lingering piece of cream from the cake he ate and licked it, "Yeah… it wasn't bad."

"Awesome! Glad to hear you liked it!" A voice startled him pushing his back up against the wall of the elevator as he looked around to see that no one was in there.

"Alright who's here?! Show yourself!" Rakana demanded though he was trying not to show that he was actually spooked by what just happened.

"Oh sorry if I startled you… I'm Hagakure. My quirk is invisibility though I can't really turn back to normal though," The voice mentions trying to laugh off this awkward atmosphere that Rakana is feeling now.

"Don't worry about it,' Rakana brushes off the awkwardness as he takes off his jacket and hands it to her to at least get an idea about where she is.

"Oh thank you… most people would freak since I'm not actually wearing anything when I'm like this," Hagakure laughs teasing Rakana in trying to get a reaction out of him.

Though Rakana wasn't in the mood to take a lot of this and leaned up against the wall shaking his head, "I'm really regretting saying yes to be here."

The elevator finally reaches a specific floor but Rakana just wanted to walk off until he felt that Hagakure stopped him and handed him a piece of paper, "I almost forgot… Momo had this ready for you so you can get settled into your room here on this floor."

Rakana took the paper and began to walk away but was stopped again when he looked back at Hagakure just before the doors closed, "I expect to have that jacket back."

Hagakure laughed at his 'joke' as the doors closed and Rakana shook his head thinking that he might not see that jacket agains for a while. Rakana carried his briefcase to a door with his name along the side. His attention went to the door next to him as he is actually next to a student named Todoroki, "Hmm… what an awkward name."

Rakana turned the doorknob and his room wasn't that bad to look at. The low angled lighting made it feel a bit relaxing, and how it was actually modeled to be similar to a normal japanese style home. Rakana placed his briefcase down near the door and felt something nostalgic about his room. As he slowly paced around the room he ran his hand along a lot of the wood he started to have some kinda thoughts running through his mind, "Why does this feel so… familiar."

*Later that night*

Rakana is laying in his new bed simply having one of the most comfortable nights of his life as he was previously just using the streets as places to rest but not getting enough sleep. The moon was full and the light was shining through his drapes and he opened his eyes a bit to notice a figure's silhouette moving closer to him. Rakana tries to get up but it's almost like he's frozen in place and can't move. The figure drew closer and reached down, caressing Rakana's face as he noticed it cold to the touch and having a very pale complexion. The figure even ran its fingers up to even meet Rakana face to face. Rakana looked in what almost resembled fear as he was then looking into the red eyes of a woman with pale skin and blakc veins, "I've found you… my boy."

Rakana was finally able to get up, activating his quirk making himself a pair of blood gauntlets. He was sweating profusely and breathing heavily that once everything seemed clear he deactivated his quirk looking around in terror at what exactly happened. He looked down at his hands seeing them shaking uncontrollably as he got up and opened the curtains to see that it was still night but he just couldn't go back to sleep after that.

"Dammit… what the hell was that about?" Rakana looked at his hand and back outside, "Are comfortable places always this hard to sleep in?"

Rakana grabbed a long sleeve shirt and stepped out of his dorm room trying to not wake anyone. He moved over towards the elevator as the doors began to open, he had to hide so that no one could spot him so he used his skills at hiding since his time on the streets to be in the corner right above the elevator door. He tries to not make a sound as he sees some of the girl classmates dragging a young boy with purple plums for hair.

"Seriously Mineta you need to give up this dream of yours," Momo said to the young lad smiling but unconscious.

Rakana, still up in the corner, found his chance to leave and entered the elevator. Trying to not make a sound as he hits the button to take him to the bottom floor. Rakana, alone in the elevator, keeps running the incident he felt in his room through his mind trying to figure out what exactly he just experienced but can't put a finger on it. The elevator finally made it down to the bottom floor and Rakana is lucky that there wasn't anyone up nor did he have to deal with anyone who was invisible this time as well. Rakana went out through the front door wanting to grab some fresh air and to try and clear his head.

"Wow… I don't think I ever went out for a walk at night that didn't involve a fight before," Rakana said to himself as he walked along the quiet courtyard of UA, he felt the cold humidity from the air as it sent a chill up his spine a bit.

Rakana stood outside staring up at the moon trying to run through the 'dream' or whatever it was through his mind trying to piece something together. But something came up that grabbed his attention with that soft melody he heard before when he came to the dorms.

"Is that a… song?" Rakana walked to where he could hear it and found himself in a park not too far away from the dorms as he sees Weiss, in a long blue robe dress very pristine for bed, as she stares up at the moon and singing, "What is she doing out here singing all alone?"

(RWBY vol.4 - This Life is Mine by Casey Lee Williams)

I've been afraid

never standing on my own

I let you be the keeper of my pride

Believed you when you told me

I was nothing on my own

Listen when I say

I swear it here today

I will not surrender

this life is mine

(song ends)

"Wow," Rakana watched in awe as Weiss finished her number and did a practice bow.

Weiss looked up at the moon almost reminding her of being on stage with its light shining down on her. She turns to find Rakana standing there with an expression that she didn't even see during his match with Yang. Weiss felt embarrassed that someone watched her practicing without her knowing.

"So… are you gonna stand there or say something," Weiss composed herself to be professional even though she still feels the embarrassment of the situation.

"Well...um… that song was beautiful," Rakana mentions to Weiss, actually shedding a tear with how he felt about the song he heard.

Weiss started to blush as she began to walk closer to him and so did Rakana. The two were met face to face unsure with what to do in this situation. Rakana gulped in nervousness almost the same as when he met Hado for the first time. His hand still shaking uncontrollably, Weiss noticed that and she cautiously put her hand on his that actually calmed him down a bit more.

"So… what's your story," Weiss asked him curiously.

"This has been my first day at a school… I never thought something like this would happen… I'm feeling… love." Rakana gazed at Weiss while the calming night atmosphere started to cool down a sense of heat coming from them.

ED: CURTAIN CALL by Weaver

And...done. Finally got through this next chapter done on a precise schedule this time. I've been running through how the arcs will go throughout this story. As well as getting a flushed out character building with Rakana. This is something I talked about with a few people and I feel that the first relationship with Rakana won't be Hado as originally planned but instead Weiss. And then by the end of it all he'll be with Hado in the final few arcs of the story. I hope everyone enjoys this in how I wish for this story to build. After hearing this song I wonder what is brewing between Weiss and Rakana? And what might happen with Hado when she finds out? Also what do you think that figure was in Rakana's room? All that and more will be in the upcoming chapter. Next time - Chapter 4: Icy Blood.
