Kagome woke panicked, confused, and upset. She was going be late, fuck. She finally got courage to make a move on Sesshomaru, to ask him what she been hoping he would ask.. He agreed!! He actually agreed and she fainted, she was going be late.
She fully opened her eyes an was staring at ceiling of her small hut. She smelt something delicious, herbs and meat cooking. The smell was perfectly balanced between savory, salty, and sweet. Who on earth would be cooking such a thing. She turned her head towards smell and suddenly shot up quickly.
A demoness with silver hair and blue eyes and red eyes, red markings jagged. She knew very well what it meant, her hands grabbed her bow quickly an notched and arrow in two swift motions. "Who are you?", Kagome's voice was venom filled and cold. Proof of her maturity and strength she had gained over years from war and training with Sesshomaru. That was another series of memories she would reflect on later once she had removed the intruder from her home.
"You he chooses a lowly, ugly human like you. Don't even try priestess, I doubt your puny holy powers would touch me. I can't even believe I am being forced to take care of you. It should be you taking care of me!", the demoness snarled.
"I promise your rude ass I could completely purify you without much effort. Do you know who the hell I am you bitter bitch?", Kagome taunted back. Yes while she had calmed over years something about this woman riled her up greatly.
"Every demon, human, insect, an animal knows who you are by now. You're Lord Sesshomaru's intended. That doesn't make you invincible you puny human , that doesn't boost your powers!", the demoness was angry, spiteful.
"I don't need any boosting to my powers. I am more powerful than Mordiriko , Kikyo, or any priestess ever was. I have no doubts about that. Why so mad? Is it because I am a human? Is it because you wish to have the title I possess?", Kagome voiced colder than she ever had it, calculating her opponents next move. She would question the intended thing to Sesshomaru later, she never agreed to an engagement. She asked for a chance not a definite forever. She was angry about the claim on her, she was not a possession.
"It's not a title you will have long! He will realize the mistake you are and wipe you from exis...", she suddenly stopped talking. Clawed hands around her throat stopped any more words from coming. "Lord Sesshomaru!", Kagome smiled at him sweetly. Should she use this power she apparently had over him?
No she was better than to act one her anger, if she wasnt the demoness would already be dead.
"Are you hurt beloved?" , his voice was terrifying even to her. "I am not my lord.", she bowed in her sitting postion. He called her beloved, oh that was hot. He was really rushing things but holy hell did she feel the heat through ever inch her body.
She was pretty sure he noticed her reaction cause he gave a quick smirk, the closet thing to a smile he ever gave. Then his face turned deadly and he threw the woman out her hut by her throat. This was serious, Kagome was pretty sure the demoness would pay with her life over angry words. She had stop this! She could not allow this to happen.
"Lord Sesshomaru wait!!", She ran out the hut after them. His deaths were clean, he was not messy. Kagome was not worried about the village taking damage, she was worried about the amount blood about to be added to their hands. Wasn't there enough blood? Hadn't there been enough death? Even her poor son was lost and she could not give a proper buriel for him.
Sesshomaru looked back at her. His hand were glowing green and raised, ready to go in for the kill. "She is not worth it! There has been enough blood , enough unnecessary blood, please let there be no more!", Kagome cried out tears heavy down her cheeks. "She insulted you!", Sesshomaru actually yelled back at her. Sesshomaru hardly ever yelled...she talk to him about it later. " Insult is not a cause for death!", she argued back.
His hand stopped glowing and lowered. The demoness looking up at him terrified. Did Kagome smell pee? She knew she did. The demoness looked ashamed. Kagome couldn't help but burst out in laughter. The demoness quite literally peed herself from fear like a young tot being scolded by their mother.
