Chapter 2: A Steamy Battle

We go to a building at night where we see it on fire. The New York Fire Department is trying to put it out.
We see a fireman escorting a woman to an ambulance when he panicked and said, "Emily! Where's Emily?!"
…
Inside the burning building we see a 6 year old girl in a corner cowering in fear. She looked up and noticed the ceiling is about to fall on her. She covered her eyes and expected the end.
Only for a black and blue blur to show up, grab her and quickly exit the building.
…
Outside the building, we see the blur approach the man and stopped ring in front of the man.
Holding the girl, we see a semi-armored Velociraptor. He has black orbs on his feet and wears a black cone-like helmet with a protective visor. He has five blue stripes on his tail and wears black pants and a turtleneck-like shirt with a white stripe on the center. A familiar white hourglass symbol is on his chest.
The visor lifted to reveal a blue face, green eyes, black lips, and stripes running under and in between his eyes.
"Is this your daughter?" the creature asked in a deep raspy voice as he put the girl down
"Daddy!" The girl said as she ran to her father
"Emily!" The man said as he hugged her
He looked at the creature and said, "Thank you!"
"No problem!" the creature said
His visor then slid back down and proceeded to run around the building at quick speeds causing a tornado which in a few minutes put out the fire.
The tornado stopped and the creature stopped in front of the firemen and said, "Well, Fire's out!"
The crowd looked at him for a few seconds before cheering. The creature smiled for a bit before running off. But not before a reporter took a picture of him.

The Next Morning…

We go to the kitchen where we see Ben and Luke on the latter's tablet looking at a news article of XLR8's heroic work.
"Wow! Your aliens are getting pretty popular!" Luke said
It's only been a week since Ben reentered the hero business. He's been using mostly Four Arms, XLR8 and Upgrade to do the hero fighting. He hasn't been using Medusa due to how weird it felt.
Speaking of which, he also hasn't tried any of the 5 other new aliens. Not yet anyway.
"To be honest I thought my transformations would be more terrifying to the people of New York." Ben admitted
"Luckily for you only 12% of New York think you are a threat and/or menace." Luke said, "At least that's what this survey said."
We then see Jessie and Emma enter the room.
"Hey Jessie. Hey Emma. What's going on?" Ben asked
"Ben. School is starting back up in about two weeks and we all agreed you need some new clothes." Jessie said
"Why?" Ben asked
"Because the only clothes you have are the ones you're wearing." Emma said
"And frankly they're beginning to smell." Jessie said "Now come on! We're going to the mall."
"Aw man!" Ben moaned

At the mall…

We go to a clothing store where we see Ben, Jessie, Emma and Luke walking around with the boys looking bored.
"Can we go yet? It's been hours!" Ben whined
"It's only been 10 minutes." Jessie pointed out
"Well, it felt like hours!" Luke said
"OK… Hey about this?" Jessie asked pulling out a blue plaid shirt.
"No…" Luke and Ben said in unison
Ben then noticed a shirt that stood out. He pulled it out and saw it is a black shirt that has a green stripe in the middle with a white 10 and green stripes on the sides of his shirt.
He looked at a nearby employee and asked, "How much for this shirt?"
The employee who is a woman in her early 20s looked at it and said, "That one? Oh! They're a discontinued brand and on sale. They're 4 dollars each."
"How many do you have?" Ben asked
We see the group exit the store a little while later with Ben now wearing the t-shirt along with a pair of brown cargo pants with pockets at the knees and green and white shoes.
"I can't believe you bought 20 discounted t-shirts!" Emma said
"I can." Jessie admitted
They then heard screaming coming from not too far away.
"I wonder what that's all about?" Luke asked
"Maybe there's a sale on shoes!" Emma squealed before running towards the sound of the screams
"Uh… Isn't the shoe store in the other direction?" Ben asked confused before the group ran after Emma
They ran for a minute before stopping in front of what looks like a giant robotic octopus, with a brown body and gray tentacles. It has multiple crooked pipes on its head, which act like a chimneys along with a bigger chimney on front. There is a clock on the big chimney.
The "Robot" is currently destroying an electronics store.
"No! Not the Apple store!" Luke cried
"Wait, I'm confused. Why would a robot destroy an electronic store?" Jessie asked
We see the robot face the group and a door opened below a hat looking chimney revealing a man in his 40s. He is a redhead who wears a steam punk armor suit and maroon pants. His facial hair consists of big sideburns and a mustache. Most of his armor is a rusty brown color(almost like copper), but other portions are maroon like his pants, while others are light gray and gold. His belt buckle is an oversized gear.
"Because these so called I-Pads and I-Phones are no match for power of steam!" The man said
"Who are you?" Luke asked
"And why are you wearing those hideous clothes?" Emma asked
"I am Steam Smythe! Hero of the Past and destroyer of a foolish future!" Steam Smythe said, "And these clothes are not "Hideous" They were the latest style!"
"Yeah… About 150 years ago!" Jessie said
"Silence! I will destroy this Mall and all of Modern Technology so that the people will relay on Steam once again!" Steam Smythe said
Emma looked around and asked, "Wait… Where's Ben?"
…
We go to a corner where we see Ben who had slipped away upon seeing the Steam robot and is currently looking through his roster.
"OK… Who to choose… Upgrade? I don't think he'll work with steam powered tech. Grey Matter?" Too small. Fou…" Ben asked before seeing the dinosaur alien, "Or I could try one of my new guys."
He then slammed down the core.
Inside the flash of green light, we see the Omnitrix sink into him arm as he grows bigger...
When the light faded we see a humanoid dinosaur.
He is approximately 20 feet tall. His body is somewhat humanoid and muscular with two arms and two legs. His legs are shorter than his arms. He has elephant-like feet and a lengthly lizard-like tail. His armored hide is light brown, with minor plating on his shoulders, tail, back, arms, and upper legs. He has a beige chest, abs, inner arms, and lower jaw. Dark gray, stone-like spikes, each shaped like the dorsal fin of a shark, run down his spine from the top of his neck to a black mace on the end of his tail. The mace has three spikes shaped like stalagmites, being one large spike on the middle and two smaller spikes on the sides. He has three fingers and a thumb on each hand and three black, elephant-like toes on each foot. His knee caps and finger joints also bulge out.
His square-like head is mostly hunched forward and the beige area of his neck is wrinkled. Both his lower jaw and brows are protruding while his almost human-like nose appears to be squished inward. His lips are black and have wrinkles. His teeth are yellowed and minorly fanged. He also has two green eyes with thick black outlines.
He wears black briefs with a white waistband and the Omnitrix Symbol is on his chest.
"Whoa this is awesome! I'll call this guy Gigantigecko! No. That's no good. Iguana Monster! No, too weak! Roar Thing! No… Maybe Mega-Stega Dude!" He said
A little girl who was passing by with her mother saw the alien, pointed at him and "Humungousaur!"
The woman and the dinosaur both looked at her and the dinosaur said, "Works for me! Thanks kid!" before running back to the battle.
As he ran, his mace tail accidentally hits a hot dog cart.
"Whoops!" Humungousaur said as he turned around only for the tail to hit a cell phone kiosk, "Uh oh!"
He turned around again only for the tail to his his face.
"Ow!" Humungousaur said as he grabbed his tail, "This is going to take some getting used to!"
He looked ahead and saw Steam Smythe's steam robot.
"It's Hero Time!" Humungousaur said as he let go of his tail and ran to the battle

We go back to the steam robot where we see Steam Smythe about to wreck a Video Game store when Humungousaur approached him and said, "Hey! Leave the Video Games alone!"
Steam Smythe turned around and said, "Who dares to… Ahh!" He screamed as Humungousaur punched the steam robot causing it to be blown back a bit.
"Let's do this steam robot… thingy." Humungousaur said
"It called a Clocktopus!" Steam Smythe yelled, "And what are you suppose to be?"
"Call me… Humungousaur!" Humungousaur yelled as he spin around and used his mace tail to hit the Clocktopus
When it hit the Clocktopus, it also caused a sonic blast to be emitted from the spikes which blown back the Clocktopus through a wall and outside the Mall.
"Cool! OK, The tail can stay!" Humungousaur said as he followed the Clocktopus outside
Meanwhile, we see Jessie, Emma and Luke were watching the fight from a nearby store. Emma and Luke filmed the whole thing with their cell phones.
"That was awesome! A Robot Squid vs Dinosaur fight! I've got to see the rest!" Luke said
He was about to go after them when Jessie grabbed Luke and said, "No… We're going to find Ben and head home!"
"You mean the Dinosaur?" Emma asked
Jessie and Luke looked at her surprised.
"Come on! It's obvious! That dinosaur and the other heroic aliens each have an hourglass symbol on their chests. The same symbol on Ben's watch." Emma said
"Wow! Pretty good detective work, Emma. Now… After that Dinosaur!" Jessie yelled as she, Emma and Luke ran after Humungousaur
…
In the parking lot, we see Humungousaur running for a minute before reaching the Clocktopus which was now in a wrecked state.
"Ready to give up?" Humungousaur asked as he pounded his palm with a fist
We see the door open and Steam Smythe flew out of the remains by using a top hat with a propeller.
"Not even remotely…" Steam Smythe said
He pulled out a old radio microphone and said, "Mechanoids! Attack that dinosaur!"
"Mecha-wha…" Humungousaur asked before a bunch of humanoid robots that are brown, constructed with pure metal, and present an eye in the form of a red radar on their heads, and a pair of antennae that work like ears surrounded him
Humungousaur then yelled out, "SONIC ATTACK!" as he slammed his mace into the ground and caused a sonic blast which blew the Mechanoids to the sky and crashed into the ground breaking them apart.
"MY MECHANOIDS!" Steam Smythe yelled as Humungousaur grabbed the man
At that moment, we see Police cars arrive on the scene and some officers approached Humungousaur who handed Steam Smythe to them and said, "He's all yours officers!"
They nodded in thanks as they handcuffed Steam Smythe and escorted to a police car.
Then Officer Petey approached the dinosaur alien and says, "Thanks for the help, Mr…"
"Call me Humungousaur." Humungousaur said
"OK… I have one question." Officer Petey said as he pulled out a paper and pencil, "Can I have your autograph?!"
"Uhh… Sure." Humungousaur said as he took the paper and pencil
"Just make it out to Officer Petey…" Officer Petey said as Humungousaur wrote on the paper
"OK! Here you go!" Humungousaur said as he handed the paper and pencil back to Officer Petey
He looks at the paper which reads, "To my fan Officer Petey… Humungousaur."
"Thanks! All my friends at Improv will be so jealous!" Officer Petey squealed as Humungousaur walked away
…
We now see Ben back in the mall, now timed out and changed back from Humungousaur, looking for Jessie, Luke and Emma.
He sees the three are by a wishing fountain.
"Ben!" Jessie said as she noticed Ben approaching them
Emma ran over and hugged Ben much to his embarrassment and confusion.
"Thank you! Thank You! Thank you!" Emma said
"What's going on?" Ben asked confused
"She found out about the Omnitrix three days ago." Luke said
"Of course! And you saved all of the clothing stores!" Emma said
"Of course." Ben said
"FYI. I would suggest a jacket to cover that hideous watch." Emma said
She then reached into a bag and pulled out a green leather jacket with white stripes and the number 10 on it.
"Here! This should work!" Emma said as she handed it to Ben
Ben put it on and said, "Thanks Emma."
Luke, who was sitting on the edge of the fountain, got up and said, "Nice job, Ben. You were amazing out there! I mean…"
"Uh, Luke. What's on your hands?" Jessie asked
Luke looked down and saw his hands and lower arms are covered in white stone like the fountain.
Jessie tried to use a rag and rub it off. But it didn't work.
"OK. This is weird. It's not only the same color as the fountain. It's the same material as the fountain." Jessie said
Ben knocked on the white stuff and said, "It's as hard as a rock."
Luke looked at his hands in concern wondering what was happening to him.
