The Transformation of Jak the Ottsel

This is something I made into a Wiki on amino with a fellow Amino user Daxter the Ottsel and we worked all in one day and I had to do some serious tweaks until it was ready to read for the people to see something unusual.

2. Chapter 2

Transformation of Jak the Ottsel,

which Daxter The Ottsel and I have come up with a new chapter as soon as we had our first review of the wiki on and it was surprising to have a first review of our story. I'll get to work on the parts that are in need and we can come up with more brainstorming ideas.

After a while of being an ottsel, Jak was still adapting as much as he could, even after observing from Daxter, his crush, that he couldn't help himself in thinking that he was originally a human being, thus he regretted eating a huge meal that made him feel heavy.

"Ok that was a mistake on my part to eat a full course meal that was left out for anyone to eat, thus I have to find a way to burn it off." he thought as he was laying in bed with Daxter while resting from all that hunger he felt after that kind of excitement that he experienced after a few days, as well as learning how to move around on all four legs and thus, he had build up a huge appetite for the food to land him in that situation in the first place. He attacked the banquet of food that they found in a kitchen as he was starving to keep his energy up, ranging from fresh baked bread to green beans, mashed potatoes to roast beef (which reminded him of stewed yakow meat), all the way to a slice of pound cake, which made him really sluggish and heavy in weight before he went to bed to sleep it off.

After a few days of sleep, he was still a bit heavy and thus, Daxter suggested that they run around the woods that were behind the Headquarters to train with and thus, he burned off the fat with the use of the Blue speed eco while having a training session while using his ottsel form to follow after Daxter as a little chase and parkour like training by climbing up the trees and jumping from tree branch to tree branch to keep himself steady and at the same time, regain his muscle that he lost from being changed into an ottsel.

As he was running around and being free, he felt the fires of the animal instinct burning bright inside himself and thus, he was beginning to understand from Daxter's point of view that it was feeling like a rush going through his system like a live wire.

"So this is what running on all fours is like to any animal that is small as a mouse to big as a yakow, this is really cool!!" He thought as he raced against Daxter to head back to HQ as a little bet to see who won and the loser has to be the one snuggling the winner for the night to sleep as a couple of otters in a den.

Furthermore, Jak suggested to swim in a pool to see if the ottsels can handle the water without any troubles, which he was secretly scared of drowning as an ottsel as he doesn't know if they can float on their back or not, but with his trust in Daxter, he slowly gained confidence to start with the basics and thus, it was like opening a new world of possibilities for him to gain more knowledge as a precursor than he was as a human.

He walked into the cold water of the pool as it was freezing to his fur at first, but with some time, it was warming up and started to float on his back to try and relax at first. Then with Daxter's encouragement and guidance, he finally got used to swimming with his ottsel body and gave him a heart attack by diving first without warning, then with his words, he dived into the water and reached to the bottom of the pool with confidence and swam up to the surface, gasping for air as it was a rush to try it again after the nearly fearful first time diving.

As they kept swimming, the air was getting cold from the night time setting in and thus, they climbed out of the pool and shook the excess water off of their bodies before puffing into a couple of powder puff forms, which looks really ridiculous to anyone else, but it was funny to each other until they gone back in and dried off before going to bed and rest in bed for a while until they discussed that they are going out to find Keira, Tess, Sig, Ashelin, Torn, Samos, and the others in this world.

The next day after there slept daxter yawned as he stretched his arms before wrapping his arms around jak who slept on him the night, Felt little strange since this is the first time having jak sleep on him since he was now a precursor and his height, Well almost his height just a bit taller.

Daxter moved his paw up to jaks cheek as he rubbed it with his thumb.

"Hey jak.. Sleep well?"

Jak yawned as he stretched his arms as he opened his eyes hardly open as he looked at Daxter's blue eyes

"Hey dax.. Yeah I slept well, Now i see why you enjoy it so much."

Daxter chuckled as he kept on gently rubbing his face. The two ottsels looked at each other smiling softly as they both purred softly before jak got up off of him and got his hat and gloves on followed by daxter who also did the same thing.

"Before we head out should we do another parkour? Leaping from tree to tree to make sure your good?"

Jak nodded as the two ottsels walked outside and went into the forest on there fours .

Later As they were leaping from tree to tree with jak getting used to his ottsel form but still not even close to being used to it, Daxter went slower then normal so he could make sure jak catched up with him, Jaks feelings for his ottsel friend had took a big growth since he became what he was, A precursor. Daxter stopped at a tree as he sat down looking ahead of the view waiting for him to catch up. Meanwhile jak followed his trail of claw mark as he panted with effort as he need to get himself back in shape since his hunger was still used to his former human self, Once he saw daxter his crush his tail was wagging slightly as he backed up on his fours and took a leap, But it was too short, Jak mange to catch onto the branch trying to use his claws but he was still learning

"Uh daxter… Help!"

He cried for help as one of dax's ears flipped up and quickly rushed over and grabbed his arm and pulled him He grunted with effort as he was still getting used to helping jak up with his massive decrease in weight since he was not his size, Let alone his almost look alike, As if he were his twin brother.

He manage to pull jak up as he exhaled deeply out of breath as he flopped onto his back as jak flopped onto his chest as he panted like a dog as he lifted his head and looked at daxter

"Thanks.. Still getting used to this precursor form. Sorry."

Daxter mange to catch his breath as he sat up and placed his paw on his fluffy chest as he had one as well

"Don't be jak, Your still learning, Annnnd i am not used to trying to pick you up since you are always doing that, Well sorta since i was on your shoulder"

Jak smiled softly as he placed his paw on top of his as he sat up as well smiling softly as his one fang showed

"Thanks dax, And i think i am alright now, Back to what i was a day ago, We should get back"

Daxter nodded as he helped jak climb down the tree and went on there way back to where they were staying in the HQ

But as they walked back they got into a little bit of a pickle spot. Four guys came down from the trees and surrounded the two ottsels. Daxter was quick to rush behind jak as he would but was now more afraid since he was no longer his human self. Jak raised his arm behind his secret crush daxter projecting him. If he were human this would be easy but since he was now a precursor/ottsel. this would be hard even more hard without his weapons. One of the guys kicked daxter to a branch and daxter slide down laying there as he was hurt wincing semi loud in a pain tone like a dog with his eyes closed. Jak looked over to the hurt ottsel and lost it. He went into his dark self and was able to take 1 out of the 4 people out. But since he was an ottsel it would feel little werid to use his dark form since he had to relearn everything. And because of that one of the person who was with the gang surrounding them grabbed a hold of jaks tail and flinged him onto the grass slamming his chest hard as he yelpped loudly in pain. He changed back into his back into his normal orange fuzzy self as daxters eyes went wide and his heart broken seeing his brother in arms get hurt like that. He started to growl but it was in a deeper tone then normal... the his fur began to change colour to a purple colour. And then sparks of dark eco lighting sparkled around him. He growled loudly as he charged at them slashing them all making quick work of them. Jak looked up in shock and worried. Je does not recall daxter having a dark form. Maybe the time when he himself turned into a precursor at the hotel, Some of the dark eco hitted daxter!

He slowly got up as his paw was on his chest as it was very sore from the hard inpack. Meanwhile dark daxter slowly walked up to jak on his fours growling. Jak slowly backed up with his arm raised out to him

"Hey there daxter... Its me, Jak remember?"

Daxter just did not listen as he lost control of himself in his first time in his own dark form. Jak kept on backing up but a tree stopped his path, Sure he could run around it or climb up it but that would anger his darken friend more making daxter kill him or hurt him badly.

Jak kept his arm raised towards daxter trying to calm him down

"Daxter... Please, its me...You call me your brother dax.. Please snap out of it"

Jak plead to him to snap out of it. He then started to very slowly approach his dark friend who had a crush on raiseing his paw to daxters nose. Dark daxter sniffed it a bit before he growled again as he got up close with him. He raised his own arm up with his sharp claws about to strike him. He opened his mouth as he hissed at him before he sniffed him again..

He said in a deep low voice

"Jak?..."

Then he slowly went to his knees as he started to change back into his bright orange fur self seeing his arms go from purple to orange. He gasped as he went on his back and scooted far away from jak breathing quickly in a panic way

"Stay back!"

he said as he was panicing and worried he would go dark and hurt jak again. Jak smiled softly as he bent down a bit as he slowly approached the scared ottsel and held his arm

"Daxter.. breath.."

He said as he pulled him in and hugged him tightly while daxter was still breathing rapidly unsure of what to say while jak had his arms around the worried ottsel as he squeezed him close gently closeing his eyes and setting his chin on his shoulder.

Daxter started to calm down and breath normal as he wrapped his arms around him as well before the duo stood up as jak said

"Ok... lets hope we can get home now. Don't worry dax, I can help you as you helped me."

daxter nodded as the duo walked back as jak healed himself along the way

[I] Later...

Once they got back to the HQ it was utter quiet, No noise or nothing, All that was in there were two twin ottsels. Jak wanted to say his feelings to him but felt like it was not the good time to do so. Even if they were alone and it would be a good time, Maybe when he feels like it is a good time since daxter went dark for his first time and nearly striked him. Nevertheless his ears flipped up as he heard daxter sniffed in slight sadness he looked over to dax as he had his head slightly lowered with his ears low to the back of his head along with his eyes half closed with some tears streaming down his face as he exhaled deeply yet his exhale was shaken

"Dax?"

He said as he slowly walked up to him and placed his paw on his shoulder, He had an idea of what he would be upset about but did not want to upset him even more

Daxter sighed as he looked up to jak with a upset look

"It's just…. it……. "

He said as he kept on holding his tears back

Jak knew what he was trying to say, He looked down as his ears went low as well.

"I miss them two daxter… I am sure we will find them."

He said as he placed his one finger on his chin as he lifted his head facing his ottsel gotte face as he had a slight upset look on his face

"I hope so too jak.." He said as he placed his paw on top of his before leaning his head into his fluffy chest, Jaks ears spiked up as so did his eyes widen, He sighed deeply as he smiled softly before he wrapped his arms around daxter holding him, Daxter began to purr softly as he felt calm and slightly better, Since jak was his size and same species now having him hold him in his ottsel from felt a bit more better since it no longer felt like he was being held like a pet or a plush doll, Jak was still smiling softly as he thought the same as daxter, Holding him felt better for himself as well. Daxter needed him as he was always there for him when he needed him, Back in haven jak was always in a bad mood but had a soft spot for daxter, Since they knew each other since they were kids.

Jak kept him close as he was calming him down yet he was asking himself questions

[I] "How will they react when they find us and see me like this? And how will tess and keira feel when I tell them my feelings for daxter? Oh man this makes me scared and nervous, Mostly nervous"

Jak kept his arms around him as daxter had the side of his head against his fluffy chest before he thought of something

"Hey jak when was the last time you had an eco refill?"

Jaks ears spiked up, He honestly forgot that he was a sage, And with his change from human to ottsel the eco would have to get used to his new form

"I think i'm alright dax, Since i changed i have more then enough eco.

Daxter lifted his head away from his chest as his paws where on his shoulders

"We could just find some and bring them back here so we would not have to go back and forth for a refill."

Jak thought about it for a moment maybe it wasn't such a bad idea, He unwrapped his arms around daxter and nodded

"Sounds like a good idea."

Daxter walked around the HQ to find a bag his size, A kids one maybe

Soon enough he found one and tapped jaks shoulder as he walked to the door

Jak looked over and smiled softly on the side of his face exposing his one fang

Jak jumped up on the window sill beside him and sat down beside him wrapping his tail around his waist as so did daxter did with his tail pulling each other close to each other wrapped there arms around each other leaning there head into one another as they both purred softly, Daxter's purr was a slight high pitch while jaks was a lower pitch as the two ottsels sat beside each other with their tails and arms wrapped around one another as they purred in perfect sync watching the view of the window they were sitting on the window sill. Jak felt like this would be a perfect time to tell him, Yet his heart was pounding against his chest even though he could feel it. He took a few quiet deep breaths then he placed his paw on daxters cheek moving his head to face him

"Daxter, There is something i want to tell you."

Daxter smiled softly his eyes where half closed

"Yeah whats up jak"

He said as he looked at his now ottsel self while jak was very nervous on the inside feeling his heart pound against his chest

"Daxter ever since i met you i felt something inside me that i thought you would be good for me, But i shrugged it off since i was young and since you turned into what you are now and broke me out of jail, I still had those feelings. Then i tried to be with keira but it kept coming back to you. What i am trying to say is i-- i--"

He was stampering with words as he was almost there, Yet he had known him for many years and this was the moment

"I love you dax.."

He closed his eyes tightly as his ears pointed down to his back while daxters ears spiked up kinda shocked at what he said but then thought about it, He couldn't really blame him he had known him since they were young. He placed his paw on the scared ottsels face making him face himself, Jak slowly open his eyes and gave a very faint nervous smile as daxter gave a smile back

"I love you too, jak."

He said as he looked at him deeply, He thought about how keira would react to jak having feelings for him, And he thought about how tess would react. Jak held daxs paw with his squeezing it gently as daxter squeezed back. The two ottsels looked at each other deep into there blue eyes as they both leaned into one another and the two kissed each other closing there eyes as daxter placed his two paws on jaks face gently petting him gently as jak placed his paws on daxters shoulders, Then after a few seconds of that they stopped and backed there heads up as jak blushed hard through his fur but was not visible but daxter could tell, He smiled semi wide as his fangs just peeked out a small bit with his eyes half closed, Jak turned his head to face daxter, His crush he kept to himself for a long time. On the outside he had a nervous look yet felt alright, But on the inside he was going crazy

[I] "is this a dream?! Did that really happen?! Ho--How will the others react?! Is daxter calm?! Is he ok of what the fu just happened?! Graaa! So many questions!"

While that happened in jaks mind. Daxter had the same questions but was really panicking mostly about tess, He hoped this would all blow over and he would forget about it, And did he himself really meant to say I love him back? Both of their minds where going crazy yet seemed calm on the outside. They just stood there frozen. Unsure of who talks first or what to do first. Then daxters ears flipped up as he heard a simler female voice.

"Hello? Anyone he--"

then daxter looked over and saw tess. The two gasped as they both had tears of joy in their eyes. The two rushed over to one another and hugged each other tightly as they could.

"Your here! and alive!"

Tess said as she cried in joy as the two held each other tightly as she placed his paw on his cheek before daxter placed his paw ontop of hers smileing softly

"Of course i'm alive. I'm orange lighting!"

Tess laughed softly as she hugged him again nuzzleing his chest as daxter wrapped his arms around her.

Meanwhile jak just stood there watching. He was slightly heartbroken but not entirely since he was with tess lots. Glad he forgot about what he said and what happened. Or he hopped he did.

going on with daxters mind. He almost forgotten what happen, Well what he said anyway. The kiss? was still in his bloody mind but was fadeing away with tess in his arms again.

Speaking of tess she opened her eyes and looked over daxters shoulder and saw jak

"Um... Daxxie? Whos that?"

daxters ears flipped up as he looked behind him and looked at jak.

"Well you see tess... That is umm... Thats jak right there.."

tess ears went straight up as her eyes widen. Then it hit her. Jaks gotte and his green eyebrows gave the look away.

"Is he okay?!"

Daxter looked at tess face and smiled softly

"Yeah he is fine, Don't worry. Orange lighting got this."

She smiled softly as he held his one paw squeezeing it gently as daxter did the same

"Sure does look like you daxxie, Besides the darker shade of fur and some of those black markings on him."

Daxter nodded as his eyes were half closed smiled softly with his tail wagging a small bit

"Yeah he does. As if i had a twin brother"

He said lookijg back at jak smileing softly then turned his head back to tess

"So did anyone else make it with you?"

Tess thought for a moment then remembered soon after

"Yeah, Jaks gonna like it. But i have no idea how she will react to seeing your twin brother like this."

Just saying that gave it away for the two male ottsels they both knew it was keira. While daxter was happy to hear that and jak. But jak was mostly scared and nervous on how she will react. Speaking of keira she walked in the door and saw daxter and tess bellow her feet hugging each other as their tails wagged then looked up a bit to see jak. She already knew it was him by looking at him.

Jaks tail had a slight slow wag since he was nervous yet happy to see her.

Keira just stood there frozen

"Ja--..jak? What happened?"

Jaks tail stopped wagging as he sighed deeply, Walking up to her and leaped onto her shoulder turning his head to face her

"To put it short. Same way daxter got turned. But this time the dark eco came in instead of falling. And daxter has a dark form no-- whoops..."

he shut his mouth after that.

Tess's ears flipped up as she had a faint worried look as he looked at him deeply while keira looked down to daxter as well, who had a nervous smile

"jak..."

He said in a slight angered tone as he did not want to tell them. Well not now that is.

Tess kept a hold of daxters paw now squeezeing it more

"Daxter. You ok?!"

Tess said in a worried tone as daxter sighed deeply looking at her then to keira and back to tess.

"Well i am ok... But when i did.. No and i still am afraid of going rouge again in front of you.."

He said as he looked down at the ground loseing the grip on her paw as his eyes were half closed then started to wince soffly like a pup. Tess felt her heart sank hearing his bf wince like that. It was very rare to hear that thus everytime he did that made her heart sank. she placed her paw on his chin lifting his head up facing her. Daxters eyes were still half shut as he had a worried and scared look on his face

"Lets.. talk about it. But first, Where did you boys live in?"

Daxter looked above at jak who was sitting on keira shoulder as jak looked down to daxter.

"Follow us. And don't rush us!"he said loudly as he stood on keiras shoulder placeing his arm on her head being in that same stance daxter was when he was on jaks shoulder

Meanwhile keira felt bad for daxter. He never seen him like this. He always saw him as the jokester or he flirt person. Well used to flirt with everyone includeing herself but stopped when he met tess

Daxter gave a slight nod as he walked slowly out the door with the trio following behind with tess by his side. Daxter still had he scared and worried look along the way back he hq they lived in.

Tess wrapped her arm around his neck as she looked at him

"Daxxie... Jak can help you, We can help you. And.. I can help you control this."

Daxter looked at tess and gave a very faint smile as he wrapped his tail around her waist then his arm around her neck

"I hope so..."

As daxter leaded them back home jak was standing on keiras shoulder before she quickly took him in her hands and held him as if he were a child

"wait wha!--"

Keira chuckled soffly as he held her now ottsel bf jak as jak growled softly with a anger look

"I can see why tess went for daxter first. Cuter then i thought. Even with that angery look of yours."

Jak growled softly as he looked down at daxter smileing softly yet as jak said in his mind

[I] "How will i explain my feelings for daxter to keira and tess..."

And daxters mind had the same idea yet less worried

[I] "ok... I think i drank a little or... I was sore when i said those words back and i ki--... him back.. Yep i bet i was drunk. So both of those. sore and drunk, Oh well! it will all blow over.. wait those things jak said... Wait.. I'm his crush ain't i?!"

he said in his mind as they found there way back to the HQ they were living in. And had to think of a way back home. Or better yet find everyone else since this was more peaceful then haven city.
