This will be an extremely short chapter but trust me._

"I'm serious did you feel that?", Kagome asked again. "Woman there was nothing, nothing happened.", Sesshomaru sent out his aura to scan the area. There was nothing. No demonic presence, no holy powers other than their own. No animals. No humans with nothing more than the blood in their veins.

"I know there was something. I felt it. I felt something familiar, something strong, something... something I can't quite remember. It's calling me.I still feel it. This feeling is completely surrounding me. Engulfing me into its depths like a sirens song. It needs me.", Kagome strained her eyes, scanning every shadow in the night. Looking for any hint that what was luring her into the dark was real. A sign that what she felt, was feeling, that it was real. She felt hopeful, confused, angry, every emotion her human soul could come up with.

She felt it again, a light pulse against her senses. It pushed her, her powers. Coaxing her to keep looking. It wanted to be found, it needed to be. It needed Kagome to answer it's call. She knew what she had to do. Sesshomaru was not going to be happy with her but then again he was never happy.

She kept feeling it. She wanted to touch it , wanted to grab it tightly into her hands. It was warm, understanding, it was her friend. It would protect her, it was safety. It was almost as safe as Sesshomaru.

Kagome couldn't believe what she was going to do. Sesshomaru would more than likely kill her if she managed to survive her plan. Slowly her eyes gazed down, there was no estimating how far below the forest floor was. The feeling told her this is what she must do. She had to trust it completely to find it, to be able to find her child.

"Do you trust me Sesshomaru?", Kagome asked, her fear built up to the highest peak it had ever been. Sesshomaru looked down at his miko taken back, stunned with her random question.

"I question your sanity but yes.", Sesshomaru refused to lie. "Well then I'm going to have to ask you trust me now. Something is there. It's calling me. I got to find it, got to go to it. You say you question my sanity, well then you're really going to question me now.", Kagome breathed out.

Her courage it was quickly fading,if not already completely faded. She wasn't to sure herself what she thought when she decided her plan. Kagome just had to do it. She had to let go.

She clutched her hands tighter into Sesshomaru's clothing. His pride swelling when she brought her body even closer to his. If she was trying to pick up where they had just previously left off, he certainly wouldn't question her sanity right now. He would even help her find this mystery presence if he got to taste her again.

He turned his amber eyes on her. He watched as her hands twisted into his clothing nervously. He smelt the air hoping to catch a whiff of her intoxicating scent... only to be surprised when he smelt fear thickly overlaying it.

Before he could question what she was so afraid of, he felt her push away. Force so strong behind it that she slipped away from his hold. She caught him off guard, used it to her advantage.

What was she thinking?! "Don't you dare stop me from falling!!", Her shrill shriek filled the air. She was going to die if she kept falling. She would hit the ground and break her entire body.

Sesshomaru rushed down and reached his hand out to grab the one that she reached out into the air. He went to curl his fingers around hers when he stalled.

That scent, he knew that scent. Father.
