-Timeskip – 1 month, Canon Timeline-
-Alariel's PoV
I sat up on my bed staring at the wall, why am I so miserable? I had so many opportunities to approach her, but I didn't, Instead I ran… why?! WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY GOD DAMMIT?! Why am I so scared?
[Calm down, partner] Albion spoke
Breathing heavily, I straightened myself up I just don't know what to do Albion…..
[I'll say it again, you're literally one of the Grigori's strongest fighters, yet you fall easily to the whims of a girl..]
It's because I love her….
[Really? All I see is a little boy who is afraid to man up because of his past! Where's Alariel, the Fallen who will meet any challenge head on, the Fallen who has defeated countless numbers of rogue Fallen Angels and Stray Devils, the Fallen who relentlessly searched for the woman he loved and loves until now? Man up, partner, you've been avoiding each other for a month, make your move!]

I had no words to say, it was true for the past month I've been avoiding her, running in the opposite direction even if I just catch a glimpse of her instead I spent my time observing Issei, the one dad believed to wield the Boosted Gear. Surprisingly, The Sitri Heiress managed to recruit Issei into her peerage and helped him unlock his Sacred Gear, which confirmed my suspicions as it was in fact the Boosted Gear only in dormant state. While Issei had been stuck doing grunt work for Souna, Rias managed to recruit Saji Genshirou, wielder of the Absortion Line, one fo Vrtira's Sacred Gears, Murayama and Katase, whom both possessed Sword Birth and with that Rias used all 8 pawn pieces to reincarnate them as Devils.
Sighing, I composed myself, headed to the bathroom and doused my face with water trying to calm down. Tomorrow, I'll do it tomorrow…. I'll confront her, ask for her forgiveness, and confess my feelings! For now, I headed out of my apartment and took flight, unfurling my wings that almost blended in with the night sky. I casually soared through the air, random thoughts passing through my mind, like when Issei got his first contract, yup I was there watching. He had been summoned by large, burly man that wore a Fish Girl costume and asked Issei to turn him into a Magical Fish Girl, I mentally chuckled at that memory.
Suddenly, I felt a huge power spike at the park, I quickly sped up and headed there. I was shocked by what I saw, at the middle of the fountain were Issei and Saji, Sacred Gears out, surrounded by 4 Fallen Angels, three of them having 2 pairs of wings, while the other one had 3 pairs…. fuck
-3rd PoV-
Getting surrounded by Fallen Angels was totally not on Issei's or Saji's to-do list, what supposed to be was a little hangout session turned into a full blown ambush. Both looked at the group of Fallen their Sacred Gears prepped.
{BOOST}
"What a-are we gonna do, Issei? We c-can't take these guys on, and Buchou and Sona-kaichou are still on the way!" whined Saji
"I don't know Saji, best bet is we stall them and hope Kaichou and Rias-san arrive.." Issei was trembling, he was facing off against 3 4-winged and 1 6-winged Fallen, Red Dragon Emperor or not, they didn't stand a chance!
"Ha! So this is the Red Dragon Emperor? He's nothing but a pathetic human!" mocked one of the Fallen
"Hush, Amriel, you'll make him piss his pants." The other Fallen chuckled
"Enough, let's finish this, Kokabiel-sama has other orders for us to do!"commanded the 6-winged Fallen
"""Hai, Agriel-sama!"""
Dozens of Light Spears materialized in the air aimed towards Issei and Saji
"Shit… prepare for a battle Saji!"
{BOOST!}
"It's useless! You can't take all of us on, now DIE!"
Suddenly, a strong, large gust of winds knocked everyone to the ground, at the same time, Rias and Sona along with their Queens and peerage members arrived.
"ISSEI!""SAJI!"
Both Sacred Gear wielders rushed to their respective Kings "Are you both ok? What happened?"
"I-I'm not really sure Kaichou, one minute dozens of Light Spears were aimed at us and then a strong gust of winds knocked us all down and conjured up that dust cloud!" Issei explained
Everyone had a shocked expression on their faces, they then turned their attention to the dust cloud that was starting to clear up. Through it they could make out a faint light blue glow and a pair of wings.
"Who the fuck are you?!" One of the Fallen, Amriel shouted
"Mah, mah, It's not nice to attack other people you know? And you kiss your mother with that mouth?" taunted the man that was hidden in the dust cloud.
As the dust cloud finally cleared up, everyone was dumbstruck by who was standing in front of them…
"ALARIEL! WHY ARE YOU HERE?!" Akeno's eyes widened at the accusation of one of the Fallen…
Alariel was here, he was here, he was here, he was here… but why? She wanted to call his name, but no sound left her lips, instead she just looked on at the man in front of him…
"Riel-sempai….?" "Riel-kun..?" """Riel-san?!"
Most of the Student Council and the ORC where shocked by the appearance of Alariel, they then noticed his blue light wings…
"Divine Dividing….." Rias murmured
"What are you doing here Son of Azazel?!" Agriel demanded
Once again every devil's eyes widened except for Akeno, due to the fact that she already knew Alariel's true origins.
"Ah, you know taking out the trash, looking for my childhood friend…. And checking out if my rival has gotten any stronger, the usual." Everyone sweat dropped at his explanation whilst Akeno was shocked…. He had been looking for her, but why didn't he approach her? Why?
"Enough of this, we will not fail Kokabiel-sama, son of Azazel or not, you will die today!" Alariel merely smirked
In a sudden burst of speed, he delivered a downward kick to Agriel's head, slamming it onto the ground with force
"Grghk!" Agriel spit out blood as he slowly got back up "Damn you!"
Alariel then turned his sights on the remaining Fallen, he charged directly at them, skillfully avoiding the Light Spears that were being thrown at him, he then delivered a punch straight to the gut of the one called, Amriel. He then delivered a spinning kick to the one beside him. Turning around he released a wave of KI to the last remaining Fallen, causing him to fly away.
"D-damn y-you! We're not done yet!" The three Fallen once more got up, summoning dozens upon dozens of Light Spears "Ha! With this, we'll even take down the Gremory and Sitri Heiresses and cause the war Kokabiel-sama desired!"
Alariel sighed "When will they ever learn…?"
[DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE!]
In place of the Light Spears was only thin hear, the Fallen were awestruck…
"I-Impossible!"
"You know, it'd been fine if you threatened me, but….." his eyes lost its golden glow "You threatened Akeno's safety and that I can never forgive!"
Electricity crackled in the air as power radiated from Alariel "PIERCE THROUGH FROM THE HEAVENS AND DECIMATE MY ENEMIES!"
"FALL, ROARING THUNDER!"
BA BOOOOM!
A gigantic thunderbolt came crashing down from the heavens striking the Fallen in front of Alariel, causing a huge shockwave to occur. The only signs that the Fallen were even there was the scorch mark and the countless feathers that started to float down onto the ground. The Devils were silent, mentally preparing sets of strategies to defeat the monstrous being in front of them, especially Issei, due to his rivalry with the White One he's the one who is most affected.
"Akeno, wait!" The silence was broken by Rias as she called out to her Queen who had to started to move forward towards Alariel, tears forming around her eyes "Come back here, Akeno! He's dangerous."
She didn't listen, she kept on moving forward towards him. She pulled out her necklace and noticed that the emerald was glowing ever brighter than before. Alariel turned towards her, golden locked with her violet. She pushed on until she was directly in front of him, she then reached out to his necklace and pulled it out, both shone even brighter. Tears had started to fall from her face "I-I'm not dreaming right? You're here right now, right? It's really you, right?!"
Alariel cupped Akeno's face and wiped away her tears with his thumbs "You're very much awake, Akeno…" saying her name felt so right as he leaned in and captured her lips with his. Everyone else gawked at the scene in front of them, especially Rias who was a bit jealous that her best friend.
Breaking the kiss, they turned to the group of Devils that were waiting for an explanation "Sooo…..I have a lot of explaining to do, don't I?"
Souna was the first one to recover, she readjusted her glasses and gave a stern look to the duo "Yes, the both of you have a lot of explaining to do…"
Alariel merely sweat dropped and chuckled nervously "Let's continue this conversation at the ORC Clubroom for privacy."
Both Devil Heiresses nodded, while Alariel wrapped his arms around Akeno, unfurling his wings and flew towards the school building "RIEL-KUN!" Akeno exclaimed in surprise.
"Relax, I have a lot of explaining to tell you as well, but only when both of us are alone, kay?" Akeno merely nodded and melted into his arms
-ORC Clubroom-
-One long explanation later….-
-Alariel's PoV-
Rias and Souna who is actually now Sona let out a long exasperated sigh as I finished my very long backstory and explanation "This is so stressful!" Rias exclaims as she rubs her forehead. Every member of the Student Council and the ORC were present during my explanation, with Akeno not leaving my side.
"I'd like to add that those four may not be only ones that are currently here in Kuoh…" I told them
Rias and Sona merely nodded "I guess we should introduce ourselves as well…"
Rias motioned for her Peerage to introduce themselves.
"Kiba Yuuto, 2nd Year, I'm a knight."
"Koneko Toujou, 1st Year, Rook."
"Saji Genshirou, 2nd Year, I'm a Pawn!"
"We already know each other, but I just found out you're a Fallen so I guess time to reintroduce myself, Murayama Kaori, newly reincarnated Pawn."
"This really is a shocker, Riel-san. Katase Yui, newly reincarnated Pawn.
Then, Akeno leaned in and whispered to me sensually "Akeno Himejima, 3rd Year, Queen~" I swear I saw Rias and Murayama's eyes twitch at her introduction.
"I'll be in your care." I reply with a bow "Although, I am quite shocked that Murayama and Katase are now Devils." They merely giggled as the Student Council started to introduce themselves.
"I'm Momo Hanakai, 2nd Year, Bishop." A young beautiful girl with white hair and blue-green eyes introduces herself
"Reya Kusaka, 2nd Year, also a Bishop." A beautiful, slim girl with brown hair introduces herself
"Hiya! I'm Tomoe Meguri, 2nd Year and I'm a Knight, let's get along!" I chuckled at the girl with reddish-brown hair's introduction
"Hey, I'm Tsubasa Yura, 2nd Year, Rook." A blue haired beauty that looks like aa boy introduces herself.
"I'm Ruruko Nimura, 1st Year, Pawn" a short brown haired girl introduces herself.
"And, I'm Issei Hyoudou! 2nd Year, soon to be Harem King, and this generations current Sekiryuutei! I'm a Pawn as well!" I smirked at my rival's introduction, while the rest merely chuckled whilst Sona shook her head at her Pawn's enthusiasm.
"Tsubaki Shinra, 3rd Year, Queen." The bespectacled girl beside Sona introduced herself
"Well, its nice to meet you all as well." I told them and flashed a smile. "Especially you, rival." I smirked at Issei as he slightly flinched
"Now…back to the matters at hand." Sona once more readjusted her glasses "What do you plan on doing now, Riel-san, or should I say Alariel."
I chuckled softly as I rubbed the back of my head "Well, there might still be rogue Fallen around, so I might scout the area out and report back to Dad, but other than that Dad did say that I'm pretty much stuck here until I actually graduate."
"I see…." Sona let out a sigh "We should continue this tomorrow, I'm pretty sure that everyone here I tired and we all need some rest."
Everyone nodded, as I got up Akeno grabbed my arm and held onto me "Buchou, I'll go with Riel-kun,we have… much to talk about still."
Rias gave her a smile "Of course Akeno, please be careful."
Everyone slowly filed out of the room, while I wrapped my arms around Akeno again and took flight into the night sky, man I have a lot of explaining to do.
And, done. To be honest not really proud of this chapter, but eh. Decided to give both Murayama and Katase Sword Birth. Issei meanwhile only consumes 7 pawns instead of 8!
