ToonSchool Music Video Mania
A Little Party Never Killed Nobody
Spotlights shine and applause is heard on the ToonSchool Music Video Mania stage, Tony, Phineas, and Ferb stood there, along with most of the gang, and the teachers in the background. Only, this wasn't a live show this time.
"Hey, everybody! Welcome to ToonSchool Music Video Mania! I'm Phineas and this is Ferb," Phineas introduced themselves to the audience and Ferb waved at them.
"And I'm Tony Clark!" Tony said as the audience applauded. "And I've got my friends and the teachers here with me. But for those of you watching from home, this is a show we recorded ahead of time. Now right about now you're probably wondering why."
"The reason is there is a party going on tonight that we just couldn't miss, but we wanted to still give you the MV Mania you look forward to all the time."," Ferb said.
"Um, shouldn't you tell them about the new video now?," Daryl asked.
"Right, it's a brand new music video created by two very special friends of ours-," Tony said, when suddenly there were retching and vomiting sounds heard coming from off-stage. "What's that?"
"Bloo. He found some way expired Halloween candy and decided it was still good to eat…," June said. "Bart's with him in the bathroom."
"I see. Anyways as I was saying-"
"Hey, twerps!," A familiar voice shouted. Suddenly the Snob Squad stormed on-stage.
"Hey what the-you guys don't belong here," Tony protested.
"Relax, Clark we just want the scoop on who these two masterminds behind the latest video are," Vicky said.
"And if they're responsible for the content of this year's New Year's countdown?," Eustace asked.
"Look, you guys we don't have time for this," Tony snapped, annoyed.
"Look, just tell us what you know, and we'll be gon-," Mindy said.
"No, you're gonna leave right now!," Sandy snarled at the Snobs.
"Or would you rather help out Professor Oak and Tracey in cleaning up after the Pokemon in the Creature House?," Prickly said. The Snobs all reacted in disgust at this.
"No way!," Princess retched.
"Then hit the bricks, all of you!," Sunny said. The Snobs then left the stage leaving the hosts, along with Mickey and Spongebob confused and surprised at their behavior.
"Is it just me or did they just take the MV Mania seriously?," Spongebob asked in surprise.
"I agree, what's gotten into them?," Mickey asked.
"Could they be under mind control again?," Phineas asked.
"Or something. Anyhow, Phineas tell everyone about our new video," Tony said.
Ferb then pushed a button on his remote and brought down the main screen, as Phineas started to give the song's history.
"'A Little Party Never Killed Nobody' by Fergie, whom we all know from the Black Eyed Peas, and featuring Q-Tip and DJ GoonRock, from the movie soundtrack of The Great Gatsby," Phineas explained. "Released in June 2013, it peaked at seventy-seven on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Basically, it's a song all about partying.
"So let's get loud with 'A Little Party Never Killed Nobody'," Ferb said as he pushed another button and the screen turned to a different channel.
It was a beautiful night, and in ToonSchool's gym, which had been fashioned to look like a ballroom, students began to arrive for the school's Roaring Twenties party. Everyone was dressed up as if they were partying in the 1920s era.
Outside, as students continued to arrive, Dionne Jackson, wearing a golden straight cut dress, white shawl, and gold high heels, started to sing the beginning of the song.
Dionne: I ain't got time for you baby
Either you're mine, or you're not
Make up your mind sweet baby
Right here, right now's all we got
At an unknown hotel, a woman is doing her make-up in front of a mirror while a man is straightening up his bowtie.
A little party never killed nobody
So we gon' dance until we drop, drop
A little party never killed nobody
Right here, right now's all we got
As the interlude drops, the scene quickly cuts back to the gym, which the students are starting to dance to the music as Tony is dancing to jive with Charity while Ben and Jimmy are dancing to the lindy hop with Dani and Cindy respectively. As the party continues, Dionne is sitting at the couch in front of a coffee table as the boys stand in guard before she continues singing.
Islands, diamonds, trips around the world
Don't mean a thing if I ain't your girl
Back at the same hotel, two men put on their respective navy blue and light blue jackets and straightened them before they gone out of the room.
A little party never killed nobody, so we gon' dance until we drop
At the dance party, Darrell Jackson and his new friend from Australia, Catherine "CJ" Jones were co-DJ-ing the party. Meanwhile, CJ's little sister Charley and Dennis were dancing the quickstep together, while Spongebob was dancing with Sandy.
A little party never killed nobody, right here, right now's all we got
A little party never killed nobody, so we gon' dance until we drop
Elsewhere on the dancefloor, Jake, Danny, and June were freestyling with Rose, Sam Manson, and Marcus Connor, who were visiting. Billy was dancing horribly, while Irwin was trying to dance with Mandy, only to be predictably rebuffed. Meanwhile, Bart tried to cuddle up with Dionne as she continued to sing.
A little party never killed nobody, right here, right now's all we got
As the party continues, a mysterious man in a silver suit and light green fedora slowly climbed up the stairs as he starts the next verse.
?: All we got, all we got, all we got, all we got
All we got, all we got, all we got, all we got
As he climbed the stairs, he was joined by Jerry, the spies, Mickey and Minnie. They climbed with him until he reached a doorway that said Chill Room on top. As the song drops, Mickey places his palm on the palm scanner, which approved his access and opened the door. The man then entered the Chill Room where a second party was happening, with a window view out to the gym party. As he did, he removed his fedora and shouts, "Dang!" upon he saw the rest of the party, revealing to be Mark Ulysses as he continues singing.
Mark: Glad that you made it, look around
You don't see one person sitting down
Back at the hotel, two women in black and blue dresses and shawls are being escorted by two men in green and pearl white suits into a limo as the previous people from before followed them.
They got Cokes in their hands and the room's a bust
At the end of the night maybe you'll find love
Back at the party, Bloo jumped into the crowd of people from atop a bannister hoping to cloudsurf, only for no one to catch him, and him to fall face first onto Ash's Pikachu who shocked him badly for this. At another part of the party, Bart, along with fellow troublemakers Johnny Test, Kyle Lipton, Dash Parr, and Ben Tennyson attempted to shoot marbles at Daryl's dancing feet in order to make him fall face first into a cream pie they'd left on the ground. However, instead all shots missed Daryl's feet and Prickly slipped on the marbles and fell face first into the pie instead. Horrified, the five pranksters ran before he could recover and go after him.
Fake chit chat 'bout the things they got
And my stout reputation keeping it hot girl
At the party of the year I'm a master plan
If you make me realize I'm your man
As he finished his verse, he put his fedora onto Jerry's head before he left, much to his surprise. Meanwhile back with Dionne, she continues to jam to the music with the boys as she starts her next verse.
Dionne: If the people get loud,
Underneath the moonlight
Then in the party, Mac, Lilo, Blossom, Tuck, Phineas, Ferb and Isabella, and danced to the music in one line with one of them do a kick in front of them.
Hotsy-lotsy, paparazzi,
Hold it while I take this pic
As soon she sang that line, Dionne strikes a pose with the boys to do a selfie. After that, Janitor, Nora, Sunny, and Daisy are dancing the samba together and switching out partners during the dance with Dionne singing the next lines.
Nice and easy,
Rocking the fellas, I'm jeezy
Hope you can keep up boys,
'Cause believe me,
I'm the bee's knees
Suddenly, outside the school, the paparazzi and the other guests noticed a limosine arriving. Realizing that must be the "special guests", they quickly ran to it so they can see who the mysterious guests are.
It don't mean a thing if I give you my heart
If you tear it apart, no, uh, uh, ah, oh
However, when the door opens as the guests got out of the limo, they are utterly shocked at whom they really are.
It don't mean a thing if I ain't in your eyes
Papa that ain't gonna fly, no, uh, uh, ah, oh
At the same time, everyone stopped dancing when they saw the DJs including Dionne stared at shock as the gym doors opened, also realizing that the mystery guests have arrived.
It don't mean a thing if I give you my heart
If you tear it apart, no, uh, uh, ah, oh
It don't mean a thing if I ain't in your eyes
Papa that ain't gonna fly, no, uh, uh, ah, oh
Unknown to them, a mysterious woman approached the stage where she took Dionne's microphone as she was still busy at looking at the guests.
Just one night's all we got
Just one night's all we got
Just one night's all we got
Just one night's all we got
As everyone stares, the guests remove their fedoras, revealing themselves to be Professor Oak and all of the other Pokemon professors dressed in style.
Upon seeing them, Ash just stood with his mouth wide open. Prickly, overwhelmed, nearly passed out. Jimmy took out a calculator and tried to calculate the chances of this not being a dream.
Before anyone can ask why, the woman, who revealed to be Delia, then speaks through the microphone.
Delia: What do you think GoonRock?
Are you ready?
Already knowing who the guests are beforehand, Darrell and CJ nodded in agreement as they quickly continues the music, which Dionne, who also knew about it, starts the party once more.
Dionne: A little party never killed nobody, so we gon' dance until we drop
A little party never killed nobody, right here, right now's all we got
As everyone continued to dance and party, the guests included, Tommy started videotaping the party, while on the dance floor, Bloo was pulling off move after move, but was also stopping anyone else from dancing too, annoying everyone. Eventually, Buttercup got annoyed enough that she forcefully grabbed and pulled him off the dance floor.
A little party never killed nobody, so we gon' dance until we drop
A little party never killed nobody!
The song then ends with Dionne pulling a high note, ending the "music video" as well.
As it did, everyone cheered very loudly despite the shocking reveal near the end as Phineas, Ferb, and Tony approached the professors with their MV Mania microphones in hand.
"Wow, I was expecting a great party as a head start for our upcoming New Year Countdown, but we never knew you guys are the mysterious organizers for it!" Phineas said in awe.
"Yeah, which brings me to one question," Tony said in excitement before it turned into a deadpanned tone. "WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU GUYS DOING?!"
"Huh? What do you mean?," Rowan said.
"Since when did you guys become organizers for the next New Year's Countdown?!"
"Runner and Nash appointed us as they prep a special separate series for us from Arcanum Heroes," Ivy said.
"Separate series? But what about Arcanum Heroes?," Phineas said.
"Um, if I can remember, Season 1 is still going on because Runner has problems about delays," Ferb spoke up. (AN: DON'T REMIND ME!)
"Again?," Tony said.
"Yes, again."
"I keep telling her not to–never mind," Tony said. "What's this new series got to do with the professors?"
"Actually, since 2015 is about to end, we knew we have to share our new adventures in that year as well," Oak explained.
"Basically the series, titled Beyond Arcanum, focuses on us professors getting new powers and alter egos after we discover a gateway to a whole new world called Illuriya," Elm said.
"And you know how Blake, Whitney, and the Famous 5 are known as the Arcana Brigade?," Birch added. "Well, thanks to our powers and new alter-egos we become known as the Shadow Brigade."
"And we use our new abilities to solve crimes with the Knights Detective Agency in both Arcanum and Illuriya," Juniper finished. "It was supposed to be part of Season 2, but due to the delays, Runner opted to make it into a second spin-off arc."
"But if you guys wanted to get an early look to Arcanum Heroes' new arc, we're releasing a sneak peek episode that took place this year as a Christmas special," Sycamore said.
"But we're keeping the deets of that underwraps until it comes," Oak put in.
"Glad to hear. Well it's time for us to sign off on this if we wanna continue this party, so…"
But before the hosts can even sign out, Ash then steps in and asks, "Hang on, Professor Oak! If you're in here, then who's at the Creature House then?"
On cue, the Snob Squad entered the gym covered in mud and other dirt, much to some of the students' disgust as Vicky angrily stomped to the gang and shouts, "Haha... That hologram of Professor Oak is very hilarious! Too bad it's not funny for us!"
Just then, the Snobs noticed all the Pokemon professors and realized…
"THE SPECIAL GUESTS!"
The six of them grab their cameras and began snapping pictures before anyone could stop them.
"The media will eat this up like candy canes!," Eustace said.
"And nobody will be able to discredit us this time, with that techie guy from backstage as our source," Mindy added.
"Yeeeaaaah, about that," Oak said as he took out a Memory-Erase Pen (which he'd borrowed from Jerry) and aimed it at the six.
"Whoa, is that a-," Bloo asked as he stepped in front of the Snobs out out of curiousity and stupidity just as Oak pressed the button, causing his memories to be wiped along with the Snobs.
"Where am I?," the Snobs and Bloo said in unision.
"Oh, Bloo," Mac said as he led his dazed imaginary friend away.
"Well, that takes care of that? But what did they mean by a techie guy being their source?," Elm asked.
"Well the only one we know is…," Delia started to ask before the answer hit her. "Mark!"
"Y-yes, Delia?," Mark sheepishly said as he peeked from behind the stage curtains.
"You told the Snobs about the special guests, didn't you?," Delia growled in anger.
"Yes…no, maybe…I thought they were journalists!," Mark tried to explain.
"Then you know what I'm gonna do now, don't you?"
Mark paused for a second before running away screaming with Delia chasing after him.
"Should we tell him about what happened?" Phineas asked in confusion referring to Bloo.
"Maybe we should wait until the Countdown," Tony said with a mischievous grin. "Until then, this is Tony..."
"And Phineas and Ferb..."
"SIGNING OUT!"
With that, everyone waved at the camera as another episode of MV Mania ends.
A/N: I guess a little party never did kill nobody. And that was some party! And that's right! The New Year's Countdown is back, butches! So stay tuned after Christmas for it and which fics are new and returning! And hopefully with fewer delays this coming year, right Runner? (RunnerAwaker silently whacks NashWalker out of anger) Ouch! (rubs head) Anyhow, until then, have a Merry Christmas, and Happy Hannukah, Kwanzaa, and New Year!
