Knuckles slammed his fists together. "Allow me!"

The echidna ran up to Monosci to attempt to punch her. Of course, the librarian simply floated in the air to gracefully dodge the attack.

Sonic and Eggman both mumbled. "Showoff."

Monosci raised her hand and pointed her finger.

Tails gasped. "Knuckles! Look out!" The fox started to fly up in the air as he grabbed Knuckkes and took him to safety.

A giant fire pillar erupted from where Knuckles was once standing. Sonic immediately ran around the fire, creating a wind cyclone to put it out.

Vines sprawled out of the ground to trip Sonic up, tumbling him back to the group. "Ouch!" Upon landing facefirst in the ground, a bunch of rings scattered out of him.

Monosci stopped raising her hand and mocked Sonic. "You have the reflexes of a panther."

...Everyone stared. Sonic raised his non-existent eyebrow. "Is that an insult? I thought panthers are... fast."

"Maybe compared to you."

Sonic gritted his teeth. "Team, go stop the robots! I'll take care of the librarian! Girl! Thingy! Whatever you are!" He pointed.

Monosci simply replied: "You got it right the first time." while the team were going to stop the Eggman robots.

Eggman laughed. "HAH hah hah! You're all alone against a powerful librarian! Girl! Thingy!"

The girl sighed. "Why does nobody listen to what I say?"

Sonic folded his arms and decided to remark back to Eggman. "Oh yeah? All alone with just her? What about you? Are YOU getting involved, Egghead?"

"EggMAN! You KNOW it's Doctor EggMAN!" He grumbled. "Besides, I don't even gotta do any work anymore!" He folded his arms back. "With Monosci on my side, I'll be unstoppable!"

"Mo-mono.." Sonic stuttered. "Of course YOU can pronounce her name! You've been with her longer!"

"Or maybe you need more friends!" Eggman sneered.

Monosci looked to her master.

Eggman huffed. "Yes, you may fight now..."

"That's better." She nodded. "Any last words?"

"Volcano Wonderpants!" Sonic shouted.

"What?" She tilted her head, her twintails flopping to the gravity. "That doesn't even make any sense-"

Sonic kicked Monosci back, as he started running towards her again, charging into a ball.

Monosci saw it. She sighed. "Ugh." She got up on her heels and floated upwards just when Sonic got there. She used earth elemental to launch Sonic into the air and kicked him back with her heel. Ouch.

Sonic curled backwards, landing on his feet and charging again. This time, he jumped up and elbowed her down to the ground. Monosci attempted to throw a punch at Sonic, which he ducked. Sonic twisted his body and kicked her in the face. Monosci was taking damage as she tried to get Sonic off her, but he still stayed persistent. The hedgehog grinned. "Seems your physical attacks aren't that potent."...but of course, him and his big dumb mouth just had to give the librarian an idea. She pointed her finger as a large fireball finally got Sonic to jump off to evade.

During Sonic's air time, Monosci scrambled to her feet again, distancing herself from Sonic. "You sure love giving away your weakness."

"Well, perhaps I like giving you a fair chance!" Sonic landed on his feet as he stared at her.

"...Are you disrespecting me?!"

"Maybe."

She had an unamused glare at the camera, breaking the fourth wall for a bit. "I'm gonna mess you up."

"Huh." Sonic adjusted his brown scarf. "I feel like I've been in this situation before, only with a pink crazy demon."

"Zazz?"

"Huh?" Sonic blinked.

"I know Zazz. I know a lot. A lot." Monosci's gaze narrowed. Her purple eye sending Sonic shivers.

"...Creepy."

"...I'll show you later."

Eggman finally stepped in on the conversation. "You better not be showing anything to my enemy!"

She simply rolled her eye as she fixed her bandage covering her other eye. "...right." She simply opened her palm at Sonic. "Let's continue, shall we?"

"'Bout time! I've been waiting to defeat you and then defeat Eggman! Like every Saturday morning!" Sonic stretched his legs. "Here goes! Easy win!"

He activated his Enerbeam which wrapped around Monosci.

Eggman spat. "Tsk tsk, Sonic! Wrapping and binding a human girl! Have you no shame?!"

Sonic went red in the face a bit. "It's a FIGHTING TECHNIQUE!"

Monosci was wrapped up as she continued to have a bored expression. "Watch this." She closed her eyes as the beam was now wrapped around Sonic, and Monosci was completely free.

"Huh?!"

"Electric elemental." She simply gave the answer away.

"Oh yeah that makes sense."

Finally, the rest of Team Sonic arrived on the scene.

Eggman growled. "Grrr! How do you defeat my robots so quickly?!"

Amy simply replied. "Because they all go down in one hit?"

"Grrrrgh! Robots! ATTACK!" He pointed.

...

nothing.

"Oh. Right, we also DESTROYED all of the ones you sent out!" Tails smirked.

Eggman pounded his Egg Mobile in anger. "Fine! If my robots are so easily disposable, then let's see you handle the librarian! Monosci, keep Sonic tied up! Let's see what these dolts can do as a team!"

Monosci looked at Tails, instantly getting an idea. She opened her book and scrolled through it. She then simply opened her palm as lightning struck right beside Tails. He instantly jumped into Knuckles' arms. "AH! I'M AFRAID OF LIGHTNING!"

Knuckles looked at the tied up Sonic. "Aww, we can't have another lightning-phobia pile!"

Amy looked at Tails. "Tails, sit this one out. She'll probably just use lightning to instantly win."

Tails slowly nodded and stepped back.

Knuckles punched his fists together. "Time for a second round!"

He punched the ground with such force, causing Monosci to get lifted up in the air.

Sticks threw a boomerang at Monosci, but she simply opened her palm to burn it up with fire.

"AAAH!" Sticks screamed. "That was my favorite boomerang!"

She then turned to Knuckles and pointed her finger. He was hit by a giant snowball from the side.

Amy started to sweat. She looked at Monosci who simply opened her palm to fire a giant fireball.

Amy dived out of the way, already exhausted from the robot battles.

Eggman cackled. "Gahahahaha! This is the end for you, Team Sonic!"

Knuckles raised his finger from the snow. "Team Knuckles."

Eggman pointed. "Monosci! Blast them away!"

Sonic widened his eyes as Monosci slowly walked towards them. She raised her palm to control the earth elemental as the earth exploded to launch them away. Tails, after getting flung, reached his hand out to Sonic. "SOOOONIIIIIIIIC-!" And then he was gone.

All that remained was Sonic. "NO! TAILS!" He never felt so desperate to get out of a trap, helplessly struggling against his own Enerbeam.

A human palm was in front of Sonic. The black clothing gave away that it was Monosci.

Eggman showed no mercy. "Farewell, Sonic the Hedgehog!"

Monosci blasted him away with... A water tsunami.

Sonic's worst fear finally carried him away.
