Show Me Your Blood!
The last words of Muscular echoed to Deku as he trudged through the open plain. Deku rubbed his arms, confused at how they showed no signs of damage now. Suddenly, two explosions came from the nearby forest. Deku activated full cowling and began sprinting toward the forest. "I have to find the source, someone could be hurt." deku said to himself "and maybe i can find out where I am". Deku tore through the forest, trying to find anyone who might have caused the explosion. Deku suddenly came up to what seemed to be some sort of robot, though it was missing many parts, and had a large gash in the bottom. Deku started to wonder, "what was this thing, and who ,or what could have killed it?". Deku was about to get closer to investigate, when he suddenly heard a voice, though it was very faint. Deku whispered "Someone is here" and activated full cowling as a precaution. As he slowly made his way through the trees, until he came across two people in the woods, a boy, and a girl. Both were about his age, though the boy was dressed quite weirdly. The second thing he noticed, was that the girl was currently stabbing the boy. Deku looked on in horror, as the boy looked up at him and then proceeded to look at deku and then the girl back and forth, insinuating that he was not in this situation willingly. Deku then knew what he had to do. He jumped out of his hiding spot and yelled "DETROIT SMAASH" and the girl was blown back away from the boy, finally freeing him. The girl seemed upset, but still realised she was outmatched at the moment. She then said " Well, it looks like i have to go, but i'll be back, soon" before she disappeared into the woods. Deku Sighed, then looked down at the boy, and began to help him up. "That girl was clearly insane," Deku said "by the way, what is your name?". The boy held up one finger while he drank some sort of red liquid. Deku watched in awe as most of his wounds healed themselves, before the boy stood up. He thought for a moment, before, drawing his sword and tracing something on the ground. Deku leaned down to see what it could be. "Your name is, Link?" Deku said, and Link nodded. "Well link, do you know where we could find anyone around here?" link nodded, and pulled out a strange tablet, covered in runes, and held it up for Deku to see. There appeared to be some sort of structure near their location, some sort of stable. "Great!" Deku said "I suppose we should get going there now, before it gets dark", he said, pointing at the currently yellow sky. Link nodded, and they began to walk, away from the forest.
About an hour had passed, and the stable was now within sight, only about 15 minutes away. Suddenly , an arrow flew right by Links head. Link whirled around to see a bokoblin encampment, about 15 meters away. Link charged into the encampment, shield and sword raised. And deku, not wanting to lose his guide, followed him.
