"Ronnie?"

Ronnie didn't bother looking away from the screen, his eyes focused on the young boy cackling at something off-screen.

"Ronnie?"

"When is this video from?"

Reggie glanced at the screen, thinking to himself for a few moments, before clicking his fingers in realisation. "It was when he first started working for us…. You were doing one of your… comedy shows, and Teddy thought it was the funniest thing ever."

Personally it was the first sign that the kid had something seriously wrong… laughing at Ronnie's jokes like that.

"…. Did I like him?"

Reggie nodded, "Yeah. He had balls, wasn't afraid of you like the other messenger boys. I think you used to give him extra money because of that."

"Oh…" Ronnie stared at the screen, "… okay."

Staring at his brother for a few moments, Reggie quickly realised that his brother was unlikely to say anything else.

"Alright then…" he muttered, before clearing his throat, "… we're going out. We'll be back as soon as possible."

Silence.

"Are you goin' to be alright?"

Nod.

Reggie sighed wearily, "I'll send Mum over… maybe she can tell you a little more about Teddy."

"'Kay."

Something was wrong… he just didn't know what it was.

…..

It wasn't until they were halfway to Poppy's hideout, that Reggie realised exactly what was causing the wrong feeling. Heading to the back of the private jet, Reggie tensed at the sight of Ronnie just sitting there…. As if nothing was wrong.

"Are you kiddin' me?!" he hissed, "Are you actually fuckin' kiddin' me?"

Ronnie ignored him, shrugging slightly as Reggie growled and clenched his fists.

"You should be back at the hospital! Yer memory hasn't come back yet and- "

"- and he's mine." Ronnie interrupted, "I need to 'elp get him back."

"You need to get beter first!"

As Ronnie shot to his feet, Reggie was there to meet him, face to face meeting him head on. "You are no good to us like this?" he growled, "If it weren't for the fact that Poppy might kill Teddy at any minute, I would turn this plane around and send you straight back to Mum and we both know what she would say about all this!"

"…. She's the one who snuck me onto the plane."

Reggie felt like his brain short-circuited when he heard this. "What?"

"She snuck me onto the plane." Ronnie smirked, "I fink she rather likes Teddy."

That was true… their Mum loved Teddy like he was her own son, not even batting an eyelid when the second bed that she made up, went unused.

The thought that his mother was also working against him, was exhausting.

"Fine." He grunted, "Fine, fine, fine!" He threw his hands up into the air, "But if you get killed, don't fink I'll give you any sympathy!"

Ronnie just smirked.

…..

'How could this all have gone so wrong?' Teddy mused to himself, tapping his fingers along the floor.

It was funny really.

Even though it wasn't expected of boys, he always daydreamed about finding someone stronger, who could protect him if needed. Of course, when he got older, he discovered knives and realised that he could take care of himself.

And yet, if Ronnie came crashing through those doors right now, Teddy wouldn't mind.

If he even remembered enough to care that Teddy was missing.

If he even cared enough in the first place.

Teddy shook his head, trying to turn his mind away from negative thoughts like that. Even if Ronnie wasn't fit enough to come and get him, Reggie would… or maybe Eggsy, even if they were having a few… issues at the moment.

Blood was stronger than hatred surely?

Teddy knew he was being kind of hypocritical here, but desperate times called for desperate measures.

….…

"All those pretty, pretty missiles!" Poppy cried out in dismay, "RUINED! WASTED!" She snarled angrily and paced the area in agitation. When she spotted the two bodies of her robot dogs on the ground, she seemed to get even angrier.

"Look what he did! Look!"

The men in the room all made sure they were as sympathetic as possible, not wanting to be seen as uncaring about her problems.

That was a certain death sentence, even if they did stand more of a chance with the dogs out of commission.

"He's going to pay for this!"

….

Reggie and Ronnie ignored each other for the majority of the flight, When they were over halfway there, Reggie glanced over, frowning at the sight of his twin staring down at his phone.

"Need help old man?"

Ronnie (thankfully) didn't rise to the jab. "Was just lookin' at these old pictures." He muttered, "Me and the boy… Teddy."

Shuffling a little closer, Reggie glanced at the screen, and smirked at the picture that he saw.

"That was the only time he could get you to do a selfie with him."

The picture had been taken a couple of Halloweens' ago, and Teddy had managed to persuade Ronnie to wear a couples' costume with him. Ronnie had temporarly dyed his hair green, wearing face paint and a purple suit, loaded gun in his hand. Teddy, had a 'Daddy's Little Monster' T-shirt on, makeup smeared on his face.

"Harley Quinn and Joker." Reggie smirked, "I still can't believe he talked you into that."

"The sex was fantastic."

Usually, Reggie would have made a face at this statement… but the way Ronnie was looking at the picture, seemed to suggest that he was lost in a memory.

Which was also a little bit gross.

However, before he could probe further, Merlin spoke up from the front, "We're coming up to the compound now." He reported as he lowered the jet down, "Do we actually have a plan for this?"

"Not really." Reggie shrugged, "The basic plan was to fire at anything that moves and hope that it's not Teddy playing a huge prank on us."

It didn't sound like the best idea in the world… in fact, it sounded fairly terrible.

"Any chance we can talk about this first?" Merlin sighed, looking over at Eggsy (who had remained silent throughout the plane trip), "Plan for traps? Like mines and things like that? I have no desire to be blown up today."

"I agree with Merlin."

Everyone stopped and turned to Eggsy, who was just staring out of the window, not looking at anything in particular, just staring out at nothing.

"This lady is dangerous enough that even Teddy was caught off guard." Eggsy sighed, "And I would never go against Teddy without some sort of plan."

"So…" Merlin frowned, "… what should we do?"

….….

Time seemed to slow down as two men dragged Teddy out of the cell, cursing as the younger man bit and kicked out them, a feral snarl on his face as he tried to get free.

The corridor was long.

It reminded him of all the filsm that ever portrayed Death Row. The cells on either side of him, others watching as he was led to his death.

'Shit' he thought to himself 'Shit, shit, shit.'

All he needed to do, was wrench one shoulder free, then he could 'cock shot' one of the guards and knock out the other in less than a minute.

If only it were that simple.
