I don't own Boku No Hero Academia/My Hero Academia, I only own my OCs.

I've been told that not everyone is born equal, I've even seen it myself. But I don't believe that, I've seen people that were told that they were worthless, trash, the thing stuck underneath their boots. I've seen the same people doing what they were told they couldn't do by others. So, I don't believe in that saying, what I believe in is if you work hard enough, you'll eventually achieve your dreams…

"...1A, where's room 1A?" I muttered as I walked by other class rooms. "Hmm… ah there it is." I muttered as I walked over to the massive classroom doors. Staring at them, I wondered why a class needed a door of that size. Staring at it a moment longer, I shrug my shoulders when I heard a rushed voice.

"1A… 1A… ah there!" Turning to the voice, I saw a fluffy mop of green hair stand next to, seemingly oblivious of my presence. "Man this thing is huge, are there giants here?" The green hair stranger muttered to himself, but before he could continue muttering to himself I got his attention.

"Yo, you're also in 1A?" I asked, placing my hand on his shoulder causing him to jump.

"Y-yeah, I'm in 1A too." He stuttered.

"Well the names Shimo, Kurai Shimo. What's yours." I ask him with a grin with my hand outstretched.

"Oh, I-I'm Midoriya, Izuku Midoriya. Nice to meet you, Shimo." Midoriya replied, shaking my hand as I grinned.

"Just call me Kurai, you don't need to be so formal. We're friends right?" I asked, getting a nod from him my grin grew larger. "Well, walking through those doors will be the beginning of our journey of becoming heroes," I told Midoriya, pointing at the massive classroom door. "But I want to know what type of hero do you want to be, Midoriya?" I asked him.

"...I want to be a hero that everyone can look up to and feel safe when they see me." Midoriya told me with a smile on his face, causing my toothy grin to become bigger.

"That's a great reason, Midoriya. I also want to help people, like my mum does." I told him with a smile.

"Who's your mom?" Midoriya asked me.

"She's not a well known pro hero, but she didn't become a hero for fame or wealth… she became one so she could help the innocence," I said with a big grin on my face, looking at the 1A on the classroom door. "She's the instinct hero: Wolfy." I said turning back to Midoriya who I swore had stars in his eyes.

"Wait, you mean the hero that helps out in the local park and forest?" Midoriya asked.

"Yeah, she even got her hero name there." I said with a grin, remembering how she got her hero name.

"She did?" Midoriya asked, confused.

"I mean yeah hero's usually pick out their hero names when they're still training and all, but she wanted the people to pick her name. She wanted people to know that she cares about them by allowing them to pick her name," I told Midoriya with a grin, slightly chuckling at the look of awe on his face. "She got her hero name when she saved a bunch of kids that got lost in the forest." I told him.

"So her hero name is super special?" Midoriya asked.

"No, not really," I told him, seeing his crestfallen look on his face. "I mean to other heroes, her hero name isn't very special. But to the people that she saves, then it is special." I said with a small smile before I realized that we have been standing here for a while. "Uh Midoriya, I believe we should head inside before we're late." I told him.

"Your right!" Midoriya said before slowly opening the classroom door.

"Take your feet off of that desk now!" A tall dark blue haired boy told a spiky ash-blonde boy.

"Huh?" Ash-blonde boy replied, not interested in the tall boy.

"It's your first day and you're already disrespecting this academy by scuffing school property you creighton." The dark haired boy told the ash-blonde who finally looked at the other boy.

"You're kidding me, Right?" The ash-blonde boy replied with a scoff. "Your old school put a stick in your ass? Or were you born with it?" The ash-blonde asked the dark blue rudely.

"...Just my luck…" I heard Midoriya mutter under his breath. Leaning towards him, I whispered to him.

"Don't worry Midoriya, I'll stay by your side." I told him with a grin, putting my arm around his shoulder.

"Thanks, Kurai…" Midoriya replied before the dark haired boy continued right after he paused from what the ash-blonde said.

"Let's start over, I'm Tenya Iida and I'm from Somei Private Academy." Tenya told the ash-blonde who just scoffed.

"Somei huh… so you must think you're better than me? Well I'm going to have fun tearing you apart!" The ash-blonde told Tenya who looked shocked at what he was told. As soon as Tenya was about to reply to what the ash-blonde boy said, I decided to cut in.

"Wow you two need to chill out, how about you two save that for when you guys are training or something?" I told them, cutting in-between the mini fight that was about to happen.

"Oh, and who might you be, mutt?" Ash-blonde replied with an insult.

"Well, it's Shimo, Kurai Shimo, Ash-blonde." I replied with a grin, ignoring his comment about my wolf ears all together.

"It ain't ash-blonde mutt, it's Bakugou Katsuki cus you better remember it because you'll see it when I become number one." Bakugou replied arrogantly, causing my grin to falter for a moment.

"Okay Bakugou, I'll remember…" I said staring at him for a moment before turning to Tenya who looked at me. "Well I didn't introduce myself properly to you, the names Shimo, Kurai Shimo. Nice to meet you." I said holding out my hand, he stared at it for a moment before taking it.

"I'm Tenya Iida and I came from Somei Private Academy, it's also nice to meet you Shimo." Tenya replied a little robotically and stiffly, taking my outstretched hand.

"Ah, just call me Kurai. Calling me by my last name is a bit too formal for my taste." I told Tenya, shaking his hand as it moved robotically.

"...Alright Shi-Kurai, I hop-" Tenya got cut off by Bakugou who yelled, the raged filled yell saying one word.

"DEKU!" Bakugou yelled, shooting out from his seat before rushing towards Midoriya. Rubbing the ear that was facing Bakugou, I grabbed the scruff of the back of his school uniform. Slightly choking himself, he turned to me with a rage filled glare.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing extra?!" Bakugou yelled, releasing my hold on his school uniform. I give a quick glance towards Midoriya to see a brown haired girl standing next to him. Both having worries on their face, with Midoriya looking a little more worried.

"One, stopping you before you hurt a classmate and friend. Two, before you get yourself in trouble, possibly expelled by fighting in front of a teacher." I said with a neutral look staring at Bakugou, stating two reasons why I stopped him.

"What do you mean, I don't see any fucking teacher, extra." Bakugou said back with a growl, staring at him, I calmly at the yellow caterpillar looking thing. The class turned to the thing I pointed to, they saw what I was referring to. And as Bakugou turned back to me, a tired voice was heard.

"It took you about five seconds to quiet down, even when he pointed myself out." The voice coming from the caterpillar looking thing, it turned to the side to reveal a face. Unzipping what appeared to be a sleeping bag, the unkempt-haired man with long black locks, stubble and dark bags under his eyes stood up before putting away his sleeping bag.

"I'm your homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shota… for the time being," Aizawa said cryptically as I sat down at the closet. "Technical, I should be taking you to orientation…" He told us, getting confused looks from my classmates. "But that's a waste of time, we'll be skipping it. Instead we'll be having a test." Aizawa told us as he rubbed his eyes tiredly.

Around where I sat, I could hear the class start to mutter in fright. But in the corner of my eye, I could barely make out Tenya sharpening a pencil in preparation for whatever test Aizawa had in store for us.

"A test that's testing whether or not you're ready to become a hero." Aizawa told the class with one of the most cruel smiles I've ever seen. Sighing, I muttered to myself.

"...Well, this is so going to be fun." I said to myself with my voice dripping sarcasm.

AN - Well I hoped you liked my try at writing something for my hero academia. I may not be the best writer out there, but I hoped that you may have enjoyed reading the start of my character's journey. Oh and to those wondering about my other story, Remnant: Wolf Travels. You guys don't have to worry about me dropping it, it's just that it's taking a bit to rewrite and I've had to move recently and online school causing me to put it on hold for the moment. So I'll be back on working on Wolf Travels soon so don't worry. And if you asked how I wrote this, I wrote all of this… well this night so I'm very tired but luckily don't have online school today so I'll be asleep for most of the day so have a good day.
