"What are you hiding?" Sonic looked at his brother. He hadn't expected him to figure it out this quickly. He really thought they had done a good job. "I'm not hiding anything." Sonic insisted. "The evidence says otherwise."

"What evidence?"

"Knuckles nervousness, your nervousness,"

"Those are just circumstantial."

"Rouge's jacket doesn't match the rest of her outfit,"

"That doesn't mean anything. You don't even know her."

"Rouge's 'trip' that was her clearly jumping for some reason,"

"People fall all the time."

"Your speed at getting breakfast,"

"I'm always fast."

", not that fast, the answers at breakfast were suspiciously vague, Ms. Roxanne's hand just disappeared,"

"I think your eyes are playing tricks on you."

", Mr. Mateo was nervous,"

"He's always nervous."

", Ms. Sam caught you and Shadow passing the note,"

"That's just a teacher power."

", and finally Knuckles never would have said that in front of all of those people if he had chosen too. Mr. Tuma somehow got you all to do exactly what he said, and I want to know why."

"It's a teacher power." Sonic says. "Your voice keeps cracking." Tails says. He puts his hand on his hip and stares his brother down, waiting for him to crack. "So, are you just going to keep lying?" Tails asks. "I'm not lying." Sonic says. "Right, and if I open this door, I won't find that your friends have been listening to this whole conversation." Tails opens the door, and to prove his point, everyone falls to the ground in a pile. "What are you hiding Maurice?" Tails asks him. Sonic was hurt, and he knew that his brother was hurt. He was only called Maurice when Tails was truly mad or upset. James and the others walked around the corner to find the scene. Tails actually looked like he was about to cry. Tails never meant to make his baby face, he always would try to avoid it, but he was making it and Sonic was cracking. "Sonic's gonna crack." Knuckles says. "I don't want to hide anything from you." Sonic tells his brother. "But you are, you just admitted it. What happened? You always tell me everything?" Tails was sounding more and more hurt by the second. "Don't do it Sonic." Rouge says. "Oh, so they're in on the secret too. Are your new friends just better than me?" Tails now most definitely had tears in his eyes. "I want to tell you, but I can't."

"Why? We're you ordered not to, or it is it as Amy told me once and you've just grown apart from me. If we're not best friends anymore just say that." Sonic was going to kill Amy. "That's, that's not it at all. I promise. I'm asking you to trust me."

"Yeah, well, I don't know if I do anymore." Sonic stood there, flabbergasted. Tails had tears running down his face. "Last chance Maurice. Stop lying, tell me the truth, or I'm leaving and I'm telling Amy." Sonic opened his mouth but before he could speak, he was tackled from behind. "Get him!" Sam shouted. Sonic realized Mateo was the one on top of him. "Tails, I'm sorry." Sonic said and began to fight. "I'm not lying, I'm more just withholding the full truth."

"Tuma, tell him to stop talking!" Sam said and jumped on Sonic. Roxanne joined and helped hold him on the ground. Sonic struggled to try to get up from his belly where he was being held on the ground by the other three. "Sonic, not another word." Sonic tried to open his mouth and finish, but no words came out. "And none of you take a step towards him." Tails noticed that Silver, Shadow, Blaze, Rouge, and Knuckles were trying to get to Sonic. Tails looked back at his brother and Sonic at him and noticed that Tails was shaking. Sonic pointed to his throat then made a poof motion with his hands. "Come on guys, get off of him." Knuckles says. "And give him back his voice." Silver says. "What happened to Sonic's voice?" Tails turned and asked. Had he been able to do so, Sonic would have sighed in relief at hearing his brother use his nickname. Sonic pointed Shadow then to Tails then to the hall. Shadow looked at Sonic, confused, not because he didn't understand, but because he couldn't move. Tails understood what his brother was asking and didn't like it. "Please, just let me help and tell me what's going on." Tails begged. James did the longest sigh of his life. "You will be sworn to secrecy, you can't say anything about what you learn." Tails looked at the man. "Fine." He says. "Tuma." James says. "You can have your voice back, Sonic. And the rest of you move."

"Oh, thank goodness, Shads, how do you go so long without talking, that was agony, seriously." Knuckles walks over and grabs everyone off of Sonic then gently helps his friend stand up. "Thanks, Knux."

"You're welcome." Sonic walked up to his brother and bent down so that they were on eye level. "Tails, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. I really really didn't. I think you'll understand once James explains everything. Just know that I'm really sorry that I hurt you." Tails hugged his brother. "I know." He says. They let go of each other and Sonic looks to James. "Let's go sit in the classroom." James says. Everyone follows him in.

"So, everyone here has superpowers because they are a second born royal. You are all part of secret society or part of the training program and summer school was a ruse to get Sonic and the others here to discover their powers and get better with them. The families of the secret society are not allowed to know without special permission from the head of the society but I'm an exception because of everything that I saw. Do I have this right?" Tails asked. Everyone nodded.

"So, what are everyone's powers?" He asks excited." Sonic smiles and starts running around in a blue streak around the room. "You have super speed!" Tails says excited. "That I do." He tells his brother.

Blaze showed a little flame dancing in her palm. "Pyrokinesis." Tails says and watches as Blaze crushes the flame. "I thought that's what my power was called?" Silver says. "No, yours is psychokinesis." Blaze tells him. "Wait, really? I wanna see!" Tails says. Silver smiles at the boy and concentrates on his chair, making it float a few inches in the air. "Cooooool."

Knuckles picks up the table. "You have super strength!" Tails says. Knuckles nods.

"What can Rouge do?" Tails asks. Rouge smiles and takes of her jacket, revealing her wings. Tails looks at them, mouth agape. He walks up to he and looks at them closely. "These look like bat wings." He says. "That's what we think their supposed to be." Rouge tells him. Rouge boops his nose with her wing and he giggles.

"Shads?" Sonic asks. Shadow charges his spear and Tails runs over to look at it. "It looks like it's made of pure energy." He says excitedly. "I call it a chaos spear." He says and throws it at the wall, causing a tiny explosion.

"Wait, what can they do?" Tails asks and points to the five not-students. "I have super senses." Sam says. "That's how you were able to catch them passing the note." Tails says. Sam nods. Roxanne turns invisible. "These are so cool." Tails said. "I think I figured yours out though." Tails says and points to Tuma. "People do whatever you tell them." Tuma winks at him. "So, what do you do?" Tails turns to Mateo. Mateo holds his hand out Tails face is surrounded by butterflies. "You control butterflies?" Tails says. "All bugs actually." He shrugs. "That just leaves you." Tail says and turns to James. James creates some copies of himself. Tails walks up and tries to see if they are a hologram by touching one, when he feels what seems like a human under his karate chop, he gasps. "You can make clones of yourself!" James smiles at the kid and nods.

"No wonder you couldn't tell me Sonic, this is awesome!" Tails says and then starts asking five hundred different questions. "What is your limit on your powers? Is there a limit to how much you can use them or how long you can use them for? When do they develop? Are powers unique or can multiple people have them? What are other powers that people have?" The list just continued.

"Orbot, Cubot!" The Doctor shouted. "Yes doctor?" The red one, now known as Orbot asks. "Bring me my tools." The doctor was going to succeed, he had to, because he wanted to rule, and prove him wrong.
