"Yeah, I knew you'd come here, Felicia," Felicia said, looking down at Peter on the floor in her former body. "I gotta say, maybe you aren't so good at being the Black Cat."
"M-MJ!" said Peter, looking over to Mary-Jane. Mary-Jane's eyes grew a little wider upon hearing that. When on earth has Felicia ever caleed her MJ? "You gotta help me!"
"Help you?" said Mary-Jane. "What are you, nuts? Why would I ever help you? Just what are you trying to do? To steal?"
"But, Mary-Jane, I'm not Felicia!" said Peter, standing up before pointing at Felicia. "That's Felicia!"
"What?" said Mary-Jane.
Felicia just sighed and pulled off her mask. "Felicia, Felicia, Felicia. I thought you were a little smarter than that. Tell me, so I look anything like you?"
"You stole my body, Felicia!" Peter accused. "You need to switch us back right now!"
"Your body?" said Felicia. "Yeah, I don't know what you're talking about. I mean, your body is impossibly stunning and alluring, but this is still my body."
"Body? Wh-Could someone please tell me what's going on!?" shrieked Mary-Jane.
Peter looked at her apprehensively, before he gulped and said, "MJ, this is gonna sound completely impossible, but... I am Peter Parker! Felicia used some magic scroll to go all 'Freaky Friday' on me!"
Needless to say, Mary-Jane was stunned, before, after a long pause, she said, "Okay, so when did I get sucked into some terrible fanfiction, exactly? What do you take me for!?"
"It's true!" Peter cried. "C'mon, MJ! In case you forgot, the ding dang god of thunder lives in a building right here in the city! I saw him go out for drinks with the boys!" Suddenly, he felt something sticky splat against his arm, and he was pulled into Felicia's grip by a web line. Felicia held onto him in a... seductive manner as she began to spoke to him in a low, smooth tone of voice.
"Felicia, please, this is just embarrassing. You must be desperate to make off with your daddy's treasure if you think we'd ever buy this."
"Ugh! Get off of me!" Peter tried pulling himself away, unsuccessful though. "You really thing your old tricks will work when you look like me? Seriously, gross!"
Mary-Jane raised an eyebrow at the scene in front of her. She had to admit, that move "Peter" just used, it looked a lot like something Felicia would do...
"You know what!?" Peter suddenly reached into Felicia's pockets, and struggled with her until he pulled out the scroll. "I got it now! I'm gonna swap us back myself!"
"What!?" said Mary-Jane. "Peter, what is that? Why was it in your pocket?"
"She stole this and used it to swap bodies with me!" Peter said, waving the scroll around. "You gotta believe me!"
Suddenly, Felicia kicked Peter at his legs, sending him to the ground, before she put herself on top of him. "This is getting ridiculous."
"No, what's ridiculous is you not even behaving like me, and you still somehow haven't busted yourself!" said Peter.
"Oh, come now, I like to think a guy as... handsome as myself has some charm." Suddenly, Felicia leaned uncomfortably close to Peter's face. "You certainly agree, right?"
Suddenly, her new Spider-Sense buzzed again when she looked to see a rock being thrown at her. She rolled over onto the floor to dodge before standing, and saw a fuming Mary-Jane walking closer.
"You gotta be kidding me! You are definitely not Peter! I know he'd never flirt with someone like Felicia in front of me! Just who are you?"
"Oh what? You believe her?" said Felicia, putting the mask back on. "You really think there's some 'Freaky Friday' voodoo happening here?"
Mary-Jane thought for a second, before saying, "I may not know what's going on, but I know for sure that somehow, you're an imposter!"
"Yeah! That's my girl!" said Peter, triumphantly standing up.
However, he saw the grossed out look on Mary-Jane's face, as she said, "Yeah, please don't be saying that. Not in Felicia's voice at least."
"Oh, I'm sure this right here is a dream come true for many people," said Felicia, "but I got stuff to do." She suddenly shot a web to grab back the scroll.
"Hey!" said Peter as he marched towards her. "Give me that scroll!"
Suddenly, they all heard the door to the place opening up. Before they could even question it, they saw several different men pouring into the room. They were all dressed in purple attire, and carrying guns.
"Aha! So the Cat's stuck her nose where it doesn't belong, huh?" said one of the men. "Sorry, Kitten, but Boss wants us to put an end to this once and for all." He then spotted Felicia. "Oh, and Spider-Man's here, too? This must be the Boss's lucky day!"
Fisk's thugs! Peter thought. So now they're after Felicia, too! And of course, I'm Felicia right now! Quickly, Peter ran over to Mary-Jane, grabbed her, and pulled her behind the desk as the Fisk thugs unleashed their gunfire. Fortunately, Felicia's new Spider-Sense allowed her to dodge the bullets and hop onto the wall.
"Stay here!" Peter said to a confused Mary-Jane, before he ran out to stop the thugs. thinking carefully of how Felicia fought, he used a few kicks and punches to knock all the guns out of their hands. Even if he had no webbing anymore, Felicia did have something useful in her back pockets he stole back from the cops. He pulled out a long, glowing, red band to smack a guy guys down with and then tangle then up. He then charged through the group, spinning with kicks to knock them down. However, he felt someone knock him down from behind, and he looked up to see a thug with his foot on top of him, aiming his gun.
"Say goodnight, kitty-cat!"
Suddenly, a web grabbed the gun and the thug and Felicia looked over to see Felicia pulling it into her hand and throwing it back at the thug, knocking him out. Shooting a web at the ceiling, she swung forward and knocked all the remaining thugs out.
"Wha- Felicia, you-" Peter started, but was cut off by Felicia suddenly webbing him to the ground. "Not bad, Petey, not bad. I studied your moves for a long time so I could replicate them, but I didn't think you could utilize muscle memory to replicate my moves."
Felicia then sighed. "But I can't let you guys interfere. This... This means too much to me."
Peter growled, as he recalled when Otto gave him that exact same line. Mary-Jane finally emerged from behind the desk, but Felicia quickly webbed her hand to the desk before saying, "See ya, ladies." She then ran right out of the building.
"Ugh, I can't believe her!" said Peter, as he struggled against his webs. Great, so his webs worked like a charm, like he wanted. Too bad now they were being used against him now. He looked over to Mary-Jane, who was somehow already free.
"What? H-how?" said Peter.
Mary-Jane suddenly grinned smugly before saying, "Honey, my boyfriend webs me to stuff all the time. More than I would like, I might add. That's why I made myself a solvent that can melt through his webs just so I can follow him."
"Oh, oomph," Peter moaned, before Mary-Jane suddenly put herself right in his face. "Okay, I want answers, and I want them now! Who are you!?"
"I-I told you! It's me! Peter!" said Peter. "Felicia used a magic spell on that scroll to switch bodies with me!"
Mary-Jane looked at him incredulous, but Peter said, "If I wasn't Peter, then how would I know about that embarrassing birthmark on your back? The one shaped like an Ewok!"
"Gak!" Mary-Jane said, backing up. "How do you know that!?"
"Simple," said Peter. "We were having movie night at your place, and we were watching Cars. We watched the part where Lightning drove off the road and hit the cactus patch, and you laughed so hard, you fell on the floor, spilling all the popcorn, and I could see the birthmark thanks to your midriff-baring shirt.
"I-I-I..." Mary-Jane stuttered, at a loss for words. "It is you! B-But it can't be you! Last time I checked, my boyfriend was... well... a boy!"
"I told you, Felicia used some kind of magic spell to steal my body and put me in hers!" said Peter. "Please, we gotta catch her and steal that scroll back!"
Before Mary-Jane could say anything else, they suddenly heard a police siren outside. "Oh, no, I thought I lost them!" Peter moaned to himself. "MJ, please! You gotta help me! Don't let them arrest me now!"
Mary-Jane kept looking back at Peter and the door in shock, before finally, she put a palm on her head, and tossed Peter a bottle of something green. "Here, free yourself with this. I can distract them so you can hide! We'll meet in the alleyway near Bleaker's street as soon as they leave."
Peter smiled in relief and nodded, and started using Mary-Jane's little solvent to dissolve the webbing, as Mary-Jane ran outside.
"Uh, officers?" said Mary-Jane as she met the police at the front. "What are you all doing here?"
"We heard there was some kind of ruckus. Like a shootout," said an officer.
"Oh, good, I saw it myself. These guys, I think they worked for Wilson Fisk, and they just stormed in here making a mess," said Mary-Jane.
"You saw it?" said the officer. "Can you tell us exactly what you saw?"
A few minutes later, after Mary-Jane told them a... slightly altered version of what happened here, she led them into the room where all the unconscious Fisk thugs were, and the officers called for some backup to make all these arrests. Fortunately, just as Mary-Jane expected, Peter was long gone. The officers dismissed her, and Mary-Jane secretly made her way to Bleaker's street, where she saw Peter waiting for her.
"So, that's really you, Peter?" said Mary-Jane.
"Afraid so," said Peter. "It's, uh, been a long night."
Despite herself, Mary-Jane couldn't help but make a microscopic grin. "So, how's being a girl been treating you?"
"What- MJ, this is serious!" said Peter.
"I know," said Mary-Jane, "but I bet you've got a whole bunch of new experience tonight, haven't you?"
"MJ!"
"Sorry," said Mary-Jane. "So, why would Felicia do this?"
"She said she needed my skills to steal that treasure she's after," Peter explained.
"Oh, great," said Mary-Jane. "She must've made off with that key. Now she has everything she needs to steal it!" She paused for a second. "But Miles is actually at that museum where it's hidden right now."
"Oh boy, I don't think he's tough enough to stop her by himself," said Peter. "Especially if she has my powers."
"She must've been trying to manipulate me and Miles into helping her," said Mary-Jane. "Ah, I'm sorry, Pete. I should've figured something was up sooner."
"No, it's not your fault, MJ," said Peter. "Felicia played us all for fools. We gotta get to that museum fast, so we can help Miles and make her switch us back."
"I hope so," said Mary-Jane. "I'd rather you get your body back soon, 'cause the fact my boyfriend looks like... well, this now, it's just too weird."
Suddenly, a large flash of light bathed the entire alleyway. Peter and Mary-Jane looked around shocked, but then, Peter grabbed by some red chains and lifted into the air.
"So, I finally found you, Felicia Hardy!" came a mysterious voice. Peter looked above him to see a shadowy figure descending from the sky, before he stopped in front of him. He was a middle-aged man with a small black beard, a flowing cloak, and red vest with sharp shoulders.
"Wh-who are you?" Peter squeaked.
"I am Dr. Stephen Strange, sorcerer supreme," the man said. "And you stole something from my Sanctorum!"
