I apologize if Danny or any of the other character a bit or too OOC, I'll try but I'm not the best at keeping characters in-character.

Stronger, older, and debatably more mature Danny. Expect Danny to basically get some cheats of his own, not just Song Shuhang but I'll try to balance it out a bit.

Trust me, this will be a better read if you open the web-comic along with reading this, mostly so you can see the chat and emojis you can't see here. It's difficult to type certain emojis and it certainly doesn't have the same feel as the web comic/manhua.

"*Yawn* Morning Clockwork... Wait why are you here Clockwork? This is Nocturn's lair isn't it?"

"Yes it is, I'm here for you though. Glad to see you've had a pleasant sleep."

"Yeah, Nocturn is really helpful when it comes to that. Though he really can't cook so I'll have to prepare breakfast for the both of us soon."

"Haha, you seem to have forgotten that the dead do not actually need to eat, young Daniel."

Danny looked a little sheepish at that, "I know, even I don't really need to eat at least not while I'm here in the Ghost Zone, or sorry, Infinite Realms. So what do you need to tell me Clockwork?"

Clockwork just smiles, "I believe it is time to enroll you into a college now."

Danny's face slowly morphs into a shocked appearance, "W-what? You do know I can't actually go back to Amity Park right? And there are too many ghosts that would chase me to the human world if I go back there. Plus the Guys in White will stop at nothing to get me if they get so much as a rumor of a ghost with part of my looks."

Clockwork just smirking a little pointedly stares at Danny, "Don't think I don't know about you sneaking out of the Zone to continue your heroics whenever you hear of trouble, and there are other cities than just Amity Park, other countries than the United States in fact, even the Guys in White would have trouble getting to you."

Danny's face turns ashen as he realizes what was just said and implied, he's going to college in another country. He might have to learn a new language even if it's far enough away from the GIW's influence.

"However, since China doesn't exactly accept dual-citizenships it looks like you'll need a new identity. Besides getting stronger in the human world will allow you to meet up with your sister Jasmine and your friend Tucker Foley without worry. I've already informed them of your new residence."

Danny's mouth is now agape as he processes all of what has just been said. Slowly his mouth begins working again, "Why? Why now?"

Clockwork having never dropped his basically signature smirk just replies, "It's time."

Danny just groans and when he looks up the Master of Time is nowhere to be seen. Danny just sighs and starts preparing breakfast for himself and his friend, who has been helping him avoid nightmares for the past three years. Nocturn had actually turned out to be a pretty cool guy when they were no longer enemies, Danny had made him agree to not putting anyone into an eternal slumber, many of his enemies are now friends actually, though he just gained new enemies to never make his life easy.

Danny was now an 18 year old young man, and as much as he'd like to claim he grew up nicely he would be lying, he looked like an extremely fit and slim 16 year old, apparently eternal youth and incredibly high metabolism are aspects of his paradoxical nature as a half-ghost, being half-alive and half-dead.

In any case though, Danny was currently in his human form, as its that form that makes manipulating his dreams easier on Nocturn, he has grown taller, luckily hitting the growth spurt hidden in his genes in time for his halted state, it may not be his maximum growth seeing how his father was 6'9", but none-the-less being 6'1" isn't too bad, at least he's not only 5'4" anymore halting at 14 would've sucked.

Not many barbers around either, at least any that didn't want to cut all his hair and possibly head off, so his raven-ebony hair has gotten pretty long too, just below shoulder length; originally Danny panicked about having a hair style similar to him but Clockwork had given him several lectures about how his appearance wouldn't change who he is, as well as the fact that he was in fact a human-less fusion between Vlad and himself so he doesn't have to worry, then CW made him keep the ponytail style to get his point across.

His teeth and ears have gotten a bit sharper even in his human form, especially his canines, but they aren't anything compared to his ghost form, his piercing icy blue eyes now hold a sharpness that wasn't really there before but also still hold more kindness than anyone would expect, it's really a miracle considering all that's happened, Jazz helped him a lot in that regard, making sure he knew he himself still deserved to have happiness.

His mostly lean structure and muscles easily defined even through his baggy clothes, years of fighting as a superhero and proper training could do wonders for the body, he certainly wasn't the same scrawny kid he used to be, though sometimes that part of him shines through. Some small part of him jokingly wonders if he's be able to pass the astronaut fitness test just by them looking at him.

His features sharper than they used to be but still hold some of the roundness and softness of his earlier features. If he were to go shirtless you wouldn't find a Florida shaped birthmark, like the papers want you to think, but rather numerous scars of varying sizes littering his body, Clockwork says most of them will disappear in time however for the moment he's got his war marks.

As for what he's currently wearing a one piece sleepwear with a rocket-ship pattern, as that's what he slept in. He got into the habit of sleeping in this kind of clothing for two reasons, one since too many of his ghost fights have resulted in him losing access to his abilities temporarily, mostly against Vlad, and thus reverting to his human form (typically around the hours of the morning no sane person would be awake) he didn't want to revert just to be outside in his boxers, secondly they're surprisingly comfortable and he likes the pattern.

After having a breakfast with Nocturn he'd get changed and follow his daily routine of flying to Pandora's place where he'd train fighting with and without abilities/powers, weapons, and/or his ghost form against her and other "enemies". He would follow after by going to the Far Frozen to learn more about his unique core and existence as well as train his powers and abilities further as well as potentially discovering new ones, which he has, though many were copied/learned from Vlad who turned over a new leaf after certain circumstances occurred taking on more of a mentor role and working with the Far Frozen to help him, them working together is how the true uniqueness if his core was discovered.

Since Vlad was able to change his own obsession to a degree much more easily than regular ghost, from having Maddie to teaching Danny to be exact, Frostbite looked more into their natures as half-ghosts and what differences there were than just classifying our cores as they usually would. As a fully stable half-ghost I have what has been dubbed a "living core" which is basically an ever-growing and highly adaptive core capable of more than just one attribute. Turns out just changing between his forms puts his clothes in a sort of pocket dimension which is a spatial attribute, he's obviously got his ice attribute, and has even used an electricity attribute with his ghostly stinger and technology "overshadowing", plus entering others mindscapes and dreams tends to be a step above the usual "overshadowing" of the common ghosts, his ectoplasm easily getting hot enough to mimic a fire attribute, though that last one is more on the edge than the others being more clear-cut.

It seems his core behaves this way due to the fact that "ghosts" get more power for their abilities or skills by being in the living world or interacting with "real-world" items and persons. The way it works for most ghosts is that after they form they typically get a very general/broad limit to their abilities they can gain typically based on both their obsession and how they died, for those that actually did die to become ghosts without just moving on to the next place, and then as their abilities/skills expand the longer they are exposed to ectoplasm from the Ghost-Zone/Infinite-Realms and they themselves get more powerful, the living world charges those abilities/skills and gives them more power expanding their limits. For example, the Box Ghost who used to be able to only telekinetically control boxes after being in the mortal world so often has gained the ability to form ectoplasm based cubes of serious butt-hurt and spatial transporting between boxes, or Nocturn who used to have to rely on technology to harness dream energy can now do so without those same machines. (AN: Am I making sense? I'm trying to explain it as best as I can.)

In any case, since he naturally generates both living and dead energy (ectoplasm) in excess his core became what it is, a perfect synergy of life and death. He also learned some more spiritual and metaphysical aspects of his from Clockwork and also learn whatever other lessons he wants to impart. Then having some free-time, usually to hang out with other ghosts, before ghost Writer teaches him all of what he's missing in school, including all the courses he didn't take, which while he's grateful for really isn't his favorite part of the day, he does like learning, curiosity and learning is in his blood after-all, but it's still quite the large workloads. Still he takes it seriously and is usually rewarded with excellent grades because of it, plus he doesn't have to worry about ghost attacks there. Now with the addition of Chinese language and culture class. This is typically Danny's daily routine before he "sneaks" off to the human world to both do an occasional patrol at night and help in any disasters he finds.

As Danny prepares to go to bed after the long day he thinks about how his new college life in China is gonna end up being. Unaware that The Master of Time and Fates has just set in motion a new path or young Daniel to follow.

April 10, 2019 - 3rd Person POV (Danny Focused)

A couple months later, Danny has finally finished learning the ridiculous language that is Chinese as well as Japanese and Korean for whatever reason, perhaps since their close to each-other but still ridiculous languages, too many characters and alphabets. On the bright side, it means he'll have more places he can apply for any astronaut programs available, maybe, Jazz has recommended he looks for the bright side of things, so he'll do just that.

Danny is now standing at the front gates for the new university/college he'll be attending, Jiangnan University, apparently Clockwork already took care of the legal side of things and registering him, his new name being Danny Noctime - something of an inside joke - really Danny just couldn't live that one down he was really really tired at the time, well it's also a mix Nocturn's name and Clockwork's title so he doesn't really mind.

Looking at his school schedule he finds that he is a part of the University's School of Mechanical Engineering's 19th Department 43rd Class.

"Looks like I'm gonna be an engineering student now. I should be good at this class then." Danny says not yet realizing how little time he'll really be in class once things get in motion, making something very familiar happen.

Danny shivered as if he just had a bad premonition of things to come but decides to brush it off.

Classes actually began a month ago so everyone already has their dorms and dorm-mates, and while it certainly is strange that he'll be joining the classes so late Clockwork apparently already dealt with that, apparently the story is that there were some complications with Danny's health which is why he'll be joining so late and since Danny is basically an engineering prodigy they can't just let him get away even if he was in the hospital.

Several hours later:

Well it was quite the first day. He introduced himself and there were a few girls swooning however the teacher decided to call upon him since he was supposedly a prodigy to demonstrate what knowledge he did know. Luckily he actually did study and even put mechanical engineering into practice so he was able to answer the questions on the board fairly easily. He was given some assignments he missed and a deadline to finish all of them by the end of the month, it won't take that long. Danny was given a tour around campus, as a bunch of girls volunteered to show him around, and while he'd have been blushing up a storm even Vortex would be jealous of a few years ago now he merely smiled as he knew that he should care for more than appearances, he already learned that lesson multiple times.

May 19, 2019 - 3rd Person POV (Danny Focused)

It's been a month since he joined the university and he has become something of a local celebrity, not only was he seen as the "younger foreign guy with the bod of a Demi-God", not his words, by many of his female peers, which once again has him blushing enough to warm his primarily cold-core on the inside, but he's also known as the local hero due to the number of times he interfered when anyone was getting bullied or when the local school "gangs" were causing trouble, in the end he became known as the number one bachelor in the school, who has rejected every confession he's received so far. For the record, the reason people know about his muscles besides them being fairly difficult to hide is because he had to do the laundry one day and only had a too-tight t-shirt left to wear.

It's not that he isn't interested in having a relationship or anything he just doesn't feel that way for any of the girls that confessed to him, he also will only settle with someone who can fully accept all sides of him and has a positive personality; his last relationship with his ex Sam ended on a pretty sour note, which may be a bit of an understatement, and he reflected that they really didn't have that much in common and she was really interested in him only due to how "unique" he was. Well enough about her, moving on.

Danny has managed to make some genuine friends during his time there though, mainly his classmates Song Shuhang and his room-mates Gao Moumou, Li Yangde, and Lin Tubo or as he prefers to be called, Bozai or Little Bo. He mostly hangs out with Song Shuhang but the other guys are fun to hang out with as well. They tried to get him to drinking together with them once but they accepted it when he told them he didn't drink, at least until they were drunk then it was back to trying to get him to join in, he didn't which usually ended up with him becoming the main driver for the group when they went out. Oh yeah that's another thing, he managed to get his driver's license which is actually harder to get than in the US but he still managed to get it, so quickly in thanks to Vlad and Clockwork plus Ghost Writer providing him with the study materials, being the Ghost of All Written Pieces means his lair's hidden library has every book ever written.

According to Clockwork something life changing is gonna happen today so I need to take the day off and stay on my computer. He couldn't really go out for his daily routine of exercise today since he pretended to have caught the same cold as Song Shuhang, which would be impressive if he actually did seeing how rarely he can actually get sick by a mortal disease these days. Call it his intuition but he gets the strange feeling that Shuhang is going to get involved in whatever's about to happen as well. So his day has really consisted of him being lazy for once in a long time, mostly watching whatever funny or action movies he could find, one might think that as a ghost he'd be a fan of horror and while that would be a stereotype it is true, it's just an issue that not many actually work to scare him anymore.

It was mid-day when a pop up notification for WeChat, a chatting program Shuhang had him join awhile ago, it was requesting for him to accept a friend request from someone called "True Monarch Yellow Mountain" considering that this was likely what Clockwork was talking about Danny accepted the invitation without hesitation and was then prompted to join a group called the "Nine Provinces Number One Group" so he clicked accept to that as well. Suddenly a sticky note was attached to his computer, "Don't type or reply. -CW".

"Okaaay then. Guess I'll just lurk for now."

SU CLAN'S SEVEN: I checked, our new friends are called "STRESSED BY A MOUNTAIN OF BOOKS" and "Heroic Phantom." Anyone heard of any masters that go by either of those names? The first one's name sounds like a Scholar. So exciting. Not sure what to make of the second one though.

SU CLAN'S SEVEN: These years, the Scholars have lain low and are impossible to find. It's almost been a century since I fought them! Now that I think about it, the Scholars fight better than the Buddhists. They don't just talk the talk! When they're in high spirits, they'll even write poetry. How cool is that? I love fighting them. But I don't have any clue about the second one, what do you guys think?

'[Danny's thoughts:] If Shuhang is going to write poetry sign me up for the front row. Haha. So cultivator's huh? They're real? Like flying swords, talismans, martial arts and stuff? What are you trying to get me into Clockwork? If I encountered them wouldn't they just try to seal me? Or are these people just -what's the term again- ah yeah, chuunibyou? But this is Clockwork were talking about so chances are they're real. Ahh- This is gonna get complicated isn't it.'

NORTHERN RIVER'S LOOSE CULTIVATOR: He went offline as soon as he added the new people. I heard his pet demon dog ran away again. So he went after it... dealing with that dog sure is hard... I'm sure he's really busy right now. It's hard for him to come online at all.

MEDICINE MASTER: ...

SU CLAN'S SEVEN: {{Shrug Emoji}} Then we'll just have to wait until our new friends learn how to use the chatting app.

Back in Danny's Room

We see Danny with his hands clasped in front of his face staring at the screen thinking, 'I really want to type. But I won't. Hah-. I guess that's enough for now, I'll go out for a patrol invisibly now and again later.'

As Danny gets up to exit through the window he notices a bracelet on his bed that wasn't there before. A single sticky not under it.

"To conceal. Wear. -CW"

"Now what's that mean? Hah, guess I'll just wear it for now."

Unaware of the fact that as he was still in his human form the bracelet just concealed his Ghostly energy/nature from most cultivators.

Elsewhere - About an hour ago

Senior Cultivator True Monarch Yellow Mountain was just about to turn off his account to chase after his Demon Dog Doudou when time stopped.

Two ghosts appeared in the same room but the only other resident unaware of their presence. The Master of Time, Clockwork and The Master of Technology, Technus.

Clockwork unfreezes the computer and send the same invite and friend request to his apprentice/adopted-son, Danny as was sent to the young man with a powerful future, Song Shuhang.

Clockwork having duplicated himself had another him in young Daniel's own room and unfreezes his computer as well as the data stream, with some help from Technus, from frozen time, allowing the invite to be sent even with time paused.

After everything was in order Clockwork put everything as it was before his and Technus' interference and left letting his presence disappear before restoring time.

Back To The Present - Danny's Room

Danny spots in the bottom corner of his desktop after minimizing the WeChat platform an icon with a familiar face.

"Technus?"

"Why is there an icon of a laughing Technus on my computer, he isn't currently possessing it, I can tell that much."

If this is a prank I return the favor later.

Danny yawns after a really long day of ghost fighting as he steps into his room in Nocturn's lair. Inside is a pair of ancient ghosts, Nocturn, the Sandman or Master of Dreams, Sleep and Night, and Clockwork, The Ghostly Master of Time and Fate.

Danny steps through the door and walks towards his bed barely recognizing the presence of the two ancient beings.

"Hey Noctime. -Yawn-" Continues walking.

"No wait, Clockturn."

"No, Night Time"

"Goodnight." Danny says as he collapses on the bed not yet realizing he hasn't said either of their names right at all.

Zzzzzzz. Snore.

It was later talked about at breakfast and Danny never got to half-live it down.

OMAKE 2: Unknown Time - Technus' Lair

It's been a couple of days since he had helped Clockwork interfere for the sake of the Ghost Child, in return he was granted a piece of (common) future technology to disassemble. (nothing too dangerous.)

As Technus was returning to his lair after fly in the Ghost Zone he was stopped in his tracks and left gob-smacked at what he bares witness to.

All over his lair, are stickers. Stickers of a laughing Ghost Child.

"...GHOST CHILD!"

Danny sneezes, but is smiling none-the-less for a successful prank well done.

I know I put a lot of focus on Danny's appearance and especially his physique, and I can see how it may be seen as overboard but I've got my reasons for it. The three main reason include the fact that cultivation requires one to have a very fit body as they said in CCG, I wanted to make an image to show Danny has both been growing and training a lot, also I was looking at a little too much muscular Dan Phantom fan art before writing this. So generally put, Danny's body muscular is like a slimmer version of what you find by search Dan Phantom fan art, also younger. I just wasn't sure how I could properly describe that so I just went with complimenting it as much as I could and let you guys form an image yourselves, hope that method worked.

In any case, some may ask if Danny has what is described in CCG as "Heaven Defying Luck" and to that I say sort-of but also no, he seems to be simultaneously extremely lucky (like Song Shuhang) but also incredibly unlucky. I mean how else do describe dying but also living at the same time? He may have gotten awesome super-powers but at the cost of too much responsibility bleeding into his mortal life. However, he does have The Master of Time (and thus Fate) quite literally at his side at times, so to say Danny's going to be treated is also an understatement. The way I see it, Danny has already defied the heavens, the underworlds, and really all other worlds with just his existence not to mention he literally combated and beat a future he didn't want, if anything frees you from the "shackles of Fate" I'd say it's probably that. So yeah, Danny lives outside of Fate and thus can intrude on others Fate where he doesn't belong instead. Of course he's still getting help from "Fate" personally though, who has sort of adopted him along with many other "Ghosts".

I recently read another prompt/fanfiction that I really liked the idea of, where as Danny gets older and grows personality wise as well he adopts characteristics from some of the ghosts in the Infinite Realms/Ghost Zone, such as a love for music from Ember or technology from Technus, or order from Walker, empathy from Spectra and so on, so I'm likely to have Danny have similar traits in this fanfiction.

Some emojis seem to show in the doc, but I don't know if they'll still be there once this is uploaded so we'll see, don't mind some of the blank spaces.

(Hidden spoiler for future plans for those reading my ANs: Danny will have three forms to cultivate not just human and ghost. Mwahahah.)

In case you don't understand what Technus' role in this was it's as follows: Clockwork put a time medallion on Technus and had him posses the data stream between the two computers so that it would also become unfrozen.
