The Heart Breaks all over Again
A/N: I is back with another story and I have all of a sudden gotten into When Calls the Heart and I have no clue why. I got this inspiration when I saw Nora come into Abigail's Café asking for her ex husband Bill Avery. Well you can see where I got the story idea from then I also wanted to put a little twist to the scene when Nora came into the Café. Might as well shut up before I ruin the entire story like I almost did in one of my stories. And this story is rated T for a reason U^U.

Abigail heard a knock coming from the front of the door of her café she wiped her hands on her apron and started for the door. "I got it Abigail!" Bill called from the dinning part of her café. Abigail paused just outside the dinning part of her café and watched as Bill opened the door. A woman in her forties, with short blonde crimped hair stood at the door the woman's face brightened when she saw Bill. Abigail hid behind the curtain and continued to watch the pair. "Bill!" The woman exclaimed and threw herself literally in Abigail's opinion on Bill. Abigail had to do everything but go out there and ask what was going on between the two.
Bill stood there frozen as a statue as his ex wife hugged all over him. "Nora? What are you doing here?" Bill asked looking around to make sure that Abigail was nowhere in sight to see this scene. Nora looked up at Bill and ran her fingers through his hair Bill stopped her hand and placed down back at her side. Bill's ex wife still didn't get she just stood there smiling at Bill like a dork. "Well I came to see you Bill I figured you missed me." Nora answered as if it were obvious. Bill's gaze on Nora hardened. "I did miss you but from the letter you sent me when your son died it said you never wanted to see me again." Bill stated
Nora frowned when she looked into Bill's eyes there was no love for her anymore but love for someone else. "Who is she?" Nora asked Bill looked at Nora confused what she asked. "What do you mean?" Bill questioned Nora frowned a little. "Who is the girl that took my place?" Nora asked again through gritted teeth. Bill looked away from Nora she growled in frustration her patience was growing thin. She placed her hand on Bill's arm making him look back at her. "Bill I never stopped loving you. I was upset when I sent you that letter and that means nothing now as long as I have you." Nora spoke hoping her words would make him love her again. Bill placed his hand onto of Nora's he looked at her in the eyes Nora looked at him hoping that he would take her back.
Bill took her hand off his arm and fingered her ring a little before slipping it off her finger. Nora felt her heart break when Bill took her wedding ring off her finger. "I'm sorry Nora but I'm in love with someone else who will treat me better than you." Bill spoke placing the wedding ring in his pant pocket. Tears fell down Nora's eyes when those words left his mouth, her throat felt dry when her love told her that he was no longer in love with her. Nora looked over at the kitchen she spotted Abigail peeking around the curtain tear stains on her cheeks. Nora smiled knowing who had taken her place in her beloved's heart.
Nora placed a hand on Bill's cheek and looked at him lovingly and kissed him on the lips. Bill struggled to break the kiss feeling that Abigail was watching them but Nora kept his head in place. 'I'm sorry Abigail.' Bill thought as Nora kept kissing him. Bill finally broke free of Nora breathing hard. "What in the world Nora?!" Bill exclaimed Nora looked at him confused. "Well I thought that maybe after not seeing me for so long you would want a kiss." Nora spoke putting on an innocent face.
Bill was about to answer her when a voice made him pause. "Bill what is going on?" Abigail inquired her arms crossed over her chest. Bill opened and closed his mouth but the glare that Abigail was giving him made him look away from her in shame. "Abigail there is a good explanation." Bill stated Abigail looked at him there was heartbroken in her eyes but kept her facial expression fierce. "Well then let's hear it." Abigail spoke arms still crossed over her chest.
Nora crossed her arms trying to give an as fierce glare as Abigail's. "And who are you?" Nora asked Abigail switched her gaze from Bill to Nora. "Me and Bill are courting currently or won't be if I find out he's been cheating on me with you." Abigail spoke feeling her heart sink at the thought of breaking up with Bill. "Well I'm his wife though he claims that I'm dead even though I'm clearly not, and on top of that he kisses a café woman even though I'm still alive and we aren't even divorced yet." Nora explained knowing she was breaking Abigail slowly and painfully.
"Nora I signed the papers for divorce and sent them to you and I got them back a couple of weeks ago you signed them." Bill argued Nora faced her ex husband her temper starting to rise. "Well I signed them because you wanted me to not because I wanted to." Nora hissed and then looked at Abigail. "Then you go and get feelings for a miss nobody of a café owner." Nora growled Abigail walked out of the room angry tears falling down her cheeks. Bill turned to Nora who had a triumph look on her face as she watched Abigail walk out of the back door. He hit her on the face angry with Nora.
Bill's ex wife held her cheek and looked at Bill in shock. "How dare you talk to her like that." Bill snapped and went after Abigail hoping to patch things up with her.

A/N: Well that was the first chapter of my first When Call the Heart book I feel like this should have happened instead of what happened in the episode but hey that's just my opinion. I'm actually really proud with this chapter and I'm really excited to work with this book. Watch as I lose interest about a couple of chapters in the book lol O-O. But eh this is my fav ship from the show UwU. I really hope you enjoyed the chapter and I'll see you in the next one BYE!
