Last Chapter...

"Hey. I figured I'd find you here."

She looked up and came face to face with Percy. She saw all of his features. His gorgeous black tousled hair, perfect skin and bright, sea green eyes. "Oh! Percy! You startled me."

"Oh sorry..." He paused, looking embarrassed. What did he have to be embarrassed about? "So, as you know I have to ask someone out and,"

Oh, he's probably asking for advice for asking someone. Annabeth's heart sank. "Oh, I see. Your here to ask me for advice to ask someone out. I-"

"Actually, I wanted to ask you out." He asked, blushing profusely. Annabeth also blushed the same amount.

Annabeth could only think of one thing at the time. "You look cute when you blush."

"So is that a yes?" He asked hopefully, sea green eyes sparkling in the afternoon light.

"Isn't that obvious?" She laughed. "Its a yes, seaweed brain."

Present Chapter

Percy looked supprised, maybe even more.

"Seriously?"

"Yeah." She smiled. "What excactly do you have in mind?"

"Well, I can't tell you just yet, but i can tell you one thing." He said, a mischevious glint in his eyes. "You might wanna change into a swimsuit."

"Ooh, okay. Wait here. I'll be back after I change!" She shouted as she ran to her room.

"I'll be waiting!" He shouted back.

She ran into her room and found Dana, Elizabeth and Jules playing a board game. "Oh, Annabeth, Care to join us? We heard its a free day today." Elizabeth suggested.

"Sorry, guys, but guess what?" Annabeth clapped excitedly, waiting for a reaction.

"What? What?" Elizabeth asked curiously.

"I got asked out by Percy!" Annabeth squealed.

They all shot up from their seats. "WHAT!?" Dana said. "We have to get your dress ready! And your makeup! And-and-"

"Elizabeth, you owe me twenty! Pay up." Elizabeth signed as she pulled ot a twenty dollars from her dress pocket and sorrowfully handed it over.

"There's no need for a dress. He said that I should change into a swimsuit, so I assume we're going swimming." Annabeth said, ignoring the fact that Elizabeth and Jules were betting on her.

"Oh, okay... I have just the thing! " Dana exclaimed. She jogged over to the large closet and pulled out a stunning one piece. It was cobalt blue and had two slits at the sides. It wasn't too revealing, yet it showed the perfect amount of body.

"Its perfect! Thanks, you guys." Annabeth said. She grabbed a nearby bag and stuffed all that she needed. She also slipped on a half-transparent blue sundress.

She gave one last hug to the three maids and headed to the library where Percy was waiting.

"Hey wisegirl, you finally-" He stopped in his tracks.

Annabeth suddenly felt self conscious. "What? Is there something wrong? "

"No, its just that you look... Amazing. You never bothered to dress up when we were younger. You looked amazing this morning,too." He said blushing.

"Thanks, Percy. You don't look too bad yourself too." She said blushing even more. Can someone die from blushing too much? Probably.

"Well, let's go! Wouldn't want to keep our date waiting!" He said.

They walked over to the stables and Percy got on his horse, blackjack. Annabeth got on her own, Vanilla.

"Looks like wherever we're going is far," Annabeth said.

"Oh, it's not that far." Percy grinned.

As they rode Annabeth's hair flowed freely. They went through beautiful scenery glowing in the warm light.

"We're almost there," He said. "Just a bit further ahead. "

Once they arrived Annabeth gasped. It was beautiful! I'm front of them stood a large, crystal clear lake. Large willow trees surrounded them all over, making it seem like a dream.

"Percy! Its beautiful! " She exclaimed.

"Yeah, This place has been my favorite little spot for a while." Percy said. "No one knows about it but me and you. I thought it would be a nice place to show you."

They slowly got in, well, Percy dived splashing water everywhere.

"Ha Ha! Percy stop!" Annabeth laughed, splashing him as well.

"Nope! I haven't had this much fun in a while!"

They spent the rest of the day swimming and having fun until sunset.

"I think its time to head back now, seaweed brain. Iys getting a bit late." Annabeth said sadly.

"Aww. Well, I had a great day with you Annabeth. I'm glad I asked you out." Percy replied.

Happy and content, they headed back staring lovingly at each other.
