Chapter 9
Loki had no idea how long he and Mia laid their together, getting their breaths back and just basking in the afterglow of their lovemaking. He was still inside Mia, that connection still giving him pleasure even as they just held each other. He was content, possibly for the first time in his very long life. Yes, he would want to make love to Mia again and soon, but right now he was perfectly happy just laying with her in his arms. Finally Mia began to stir, raising herself up to look at him. "Is it always like this with gods?" She asked, teasing in her voice.
"I think this is how it will always be between us my darling." Loki said, smiling up at her.
Mia sat up, straddling him and keeping him inside of her. "Well it's wonderful. I've never felt so happy, so myself, well ever. It's like you see the real me and want me anyways. I've always had to hide my strangeness before, even with lovers."
Loki felt some irrational jealousy at the men Mia had been with before, even though he had had his share of lovers as well. It didn't matter now. Now that he had Mia and she had him, well other lovers were inconsequential. "You can always be yourself with me my darling." Loki said, his hand stroking her back, her arms, any part of her that he could reach.
"And you can always be the real you with me too Loki. I mean it, mischief and all, you never have to hide anything from me." Mia said as a soft glow emitted from her hands resting on his chest.
A strange sensation ran through Loki's body, an electricity, a change that he couldn't quite describe. He felt cold running in his veins and throughout his body. Mia's eyes widened as she looked at him, though in wonder and not fear. Looking at his hands on her waist slowly turn blue, all the more noticeable against her ivory skin. "What the hell?" Loki said, not wanting to alarm Mia but starting to freak out a bit himself.
"Um, I don't know how to tell you this but you are blue." Mia looked down at her hands, lifting them off of his chest and staring at them. "I felt some power radiate from my hands when I spoke about you not ever having to hide from me and then you turned blue. What did I do to you Loki?" She looked so confused.
"I don't know. I think you released a concealment spell that I didn't even realize I was under. I can shapeshift and change my appearance at will, but this… I need to look at myself in the mirror." He oh so gently moved Mia off of him and got up, heading to the mirror in the corner of her room. He looked in the mirror only to see red eyes staring back at him from his all blue body. "What the hell! I… I look like a frost giant! How can this be?" He closed his eyes and clenched his fists, fighting the feeling deep down that he had just discovered who he really was. He felt Mia come up behind him and wrap her arms around him, resting her cheek against his back. As much as his entire being relaxed at her touch, he tried to pull away. "Get away! I'm a monster!"
Mia only tightened her grip on him. "You are no monster. You are the same Loki on the inside, the outside just looks a little different."
He felt her place a gentle kiss between his shoulders. "How can you look at me when I'm like this? Back home people would run screaming if they saw me."
Mia moved around to stand in front of Loki, once more wrapping her arms around him, pressing her naked curves into his blue and cold form. "Well you are not home, you are with me and I still think you are the most breathtaking creature I have ever seen." She stood on her tiptoes to place a kiss on his lips. "You are remarkable in this form or your other."
Loki looked down at her disbelieving, but he could tell by looking in her eyes that she meant everything that she said. She was not afraid of him in the least and remarkably she still looked at him with lust. "You still want me? You still trust me even if I'm a monster?"
"Stop calling yourself a monster. Tell me, are you going to hurt me? Would you ever hurt me even though I seem to have turned you blue?" Mia asked, staring into his eyes. The very same red eyes that he could barely look at, yet Mia didn't seem to mind them at all.
"I would never hurt you." Loki said, running his finger across her cheek.
"So stop calling yourself names. Yes I trust you. And yes, I want you. I think I will always want you Loki." With that Mia raised up and kissed him passionately. He wanted to pull away again, but his body seemed to be responding on its own as he wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her back.
He felt himself backing towards the bed before he finally snapped out of the kiss enough to pull back. "We shouldn't. I could hurt you in this form. We should figure out what is going on before we get intimate again." Loki said, not really wanting to stop himself but still convinced he was a monster.
"Loki you said yourself you would never hurt me. You need to know that you deserve love and acceptance, no matter who you really are. We indeed should try to figure some things out about who and what we both are, but we can do that later. Right now let me convince you that you are no monster, you are still the brilliant and gorgeous creature that is teaching me so much about myself. Just go with this Loki, just go with what feels right. And everything about you feels right." Mia said, as she we back to kissing him senseless.
Mia said to do what felt right, well everything about her in his arms felt right, even when he could barely stand to look at himself Mia was here kissing him and ready to make love to him again. That had to mean he wasn't evil as he had always been told frost giants were. Mia had some strange ability to look into people's souls, tell if they were good or bad, to tell if someone was lying and all she seemed to sense in Loki was good. Letting himself get carried away in Mia, in her body, in her urgent kisses, in her gentle caresses, Loki picked her up and took her back to bed. If he could still want him this much, maybe he could learn to accept himself too. But later there would be questions for his parents.
Things were different this time with their lovemaking. Loki was hesitant and Mia was much gentler, more loving. Taking her time she kissed the strange markings on him, trace his face gently with her fingers. Her kisses were intense, but so loving and accepting at the same time. They both took their time working up to their climaxes and this time, Loki almost had tears in his eyes from the shear amount of acceptance he felt. Now he knew for sure he would do everything in his power to keep this woman with him forever, for Mia was the only one who had ever made him feel this level of unconditional love and acceptance. Sure it might be too soon to say love out loud, but Loki knew in his soul that he loved this woman and that he always would.
