This next chapter is for all the Sonic fans out there, because Sora and the gang travels to a Sonic world.
Chapter 8: Welcome to the Jungle Part 1
For 30 minutes, Elder-Ham talks about Snow White and the Seven Hams.
Elder-Ham: And that's how Snow White lived happily ever after with her prince.
Sora: That was a pretty story.
Plucky: Now can we talk about Snow White and the Seven Toons?
Dizzy: That same story, except with toons instead of hamsters.
Sweetie: Guys, we're approaching a next world!
Sora and the gang turns to look at the window to see a world that looks like a big jungle with a Mayan-like ruins and an island with a shrine holding a giant green emerald.
Sora: What is that?
Sweetie: It is called Mystic Ruins. It used be the home of an ancient echidna tribe. There is also an island called Angel Island, where they have a shrine containing the Master Emerald.
Dizzy: Maybe Buster in jungle, swinging on trees. Dizzy love swinging on trees.
Plucky: In a backwater place like this? No way! Buster would never go there! He hates snakes, bugs, and big cats!
Sneezer: But Plucky. You said that you were afraid of all those things. Not Buster.
Plucky: What are you talking about? I am not! Besides, I highly doubt he's there, so let's move on!
Sora: Hold on! Riku and Kairi might be down there! Let's check it out!
Plucky: Forget it, kid! We're not going down there!
Sora: Come on! Just land!
Plucky: NO!
Sora: YES!
Plucky: NO!
Sora: YES!
Plucky: NO!
Sora: NO!
Plucky: YES!
Sora: NO!
Plucky: YES!
Sora: NO!
Plucky: YES! HEY, WAIT A MINUTE!
Sora then walks over to the controls.
Sora: WE'RE LANDING!
Plucky: DON'T TOUCH THAT LEVER!
Sora pulls on the lever which caused the ship to shake and flew down to the world.
Plucky: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
Sweetie: HOLD ON, EVERYBODY! WE'RE CRASH LANDING!
The ship crashed into the world. Sora fell into the ruins. Elder-Ham came and shook Sora.
Elder-Ham: Sora! Wake up!
Sora opens his eyes and looks at Elder-Ham.
Elder-Ham: Sora, thank goodness you're alright!
Sora: Ow...my head hurts. What happened?
Elder-Ham:(Angry)You happened, kid! You crashed the ship and now we're stranded here in this old ruins!
Sora: Sorry. I had to do it to search for my friends. Plucky promised he would help me find my friends while I would help him find his King. He ignored me and broke that promise.
Elder-Ham:(Angry)That's a poor excuse for crashing the ship!(Calms down)But I guess you have your reasons. We all make mistakes. After all, you're just a kid. There is still alot to learn growing up.
Sora: OK, Elder-Ham. I get the point. By the way, where's Plucky and Dizzy?
Elder-Ham: I haven't seen them or the ship since we landed.
Sora: What do you mean they're not here?
Elder-Ham: I was about to ask you the same question.
Suddenly, they hear a noise.
Sora: What was that?
Elder-Ham: I don't know, but I don't think it sounds very friendly.
Sora summons his Keyblade while Elder-Ham hides under his jacket. Suddenly, a blue robot came in and attacks them. The robot looks like a hedgehog. The robot spins into Sora, hurting him. Sora then counters with his Keyblade, but the robot activates it's black shield. The Keyblade did no damage.
Sora: What? That thing's invincible!
When the robot's shield dies down, it fires it's chest blaster, but Sora deflects it, hitting it back at the robot. Sora then proceeds to slash the robot with the Keyblade. The robot took some damage. Sora and the robot went into a stare down. All of a sudden, a blue blur came in and attacks the robot. The figure reveals himself to be a blue hedgehog with a cream-colored cheek, tummy, and arms, white gloves, and red sneakers.
Hedgehog: Hey, chrome dome! Pick on somebody your own size!
The blue hedgehog spins into the robot. The robot took serious damage and starts to flee. The blue hedgehog then turns to Sora.
Hedgehog: Are you OK, buddy?
Sora: I'm fine. Thank you. Who was that?
Hedgehog: That was Metal Sonic. He was a mean hunk of junk. What are you doing here?
Sora: I got separated from my friends. Have you seen them?
Hedgehog: Sorry, I haven't seen them. What do they look like?
Sora: There's two of them. The green duck is named...
He then stops for a moment. The hedgehog looks at him in confusion.
Hedgehog: You OK, kid?
Sora: Yeah, I'm fine. I'm looking for my friends, Riku and Kairi.
Hedgehog: So, you're looking for your friends named Riku and Kairi?
Sora: Right!
He then looks behind the hedgehog and saw Kairi looking at him. She then walks away. Sora then turns back to the hedgehog.
Hedgehog: OK, I'll help you find your friends.
Sora: Mr. Hedgehog, will you take me to Riku and Kairi?
Hedgehog: I have a name, you know. My name is Sonic the Hedgehog.
Sora: OK, Sonic. I'm Sora. Let's go!
Sora and Sonic went out of the ruins and went out to the jungle.
World: Mystic Ruins
Meanwhile, Dizzy and Plucky are in a middle of a jungle.
Dizzy: Where are we?
Plucky:(Sarcasm)I dunno. Maybe in a middle of Antarctica.
Dizzy: Really? This is Antarctica?
Plucky: NO, YOU IDIOT! This is a jungle!
Dizzy: Dizzy hope Sora OK.
Plucky: Who needs that twerp? We can find Buster without him!
Suddenly, Plucky felt something next to him. He looks and saw a cream-colored rabbit wearing an orange dress, orange shoes, and white gloves. Next to her is a light blue creature wearing a red bow tie. They stared at each other for a few seconds and then let out a scream. The rabbit ran away and drops a block.
Dizzy: What was that?
Plucky: It looks like she dropped a Gummi Block.
Plucky and Dizzy walks over to the block and picks it up. Suddenly, three figures entered the area. One was a black hedgehog with red stripes, white gloves with golden rings, and white sneakers also with golden rings. One was a yellow two-tailed fox with white cheeks and tummy, wearing white gloves, and red and white sneakers. The last one was a red echidna with white boxing gloves and red sneakers.
Hedgehog: Who are these weirdos?
Fox: Shadow! They could be lost travelers who need our help.
Echidna: He's right. We should help those in need.
Shadow: Hmph, whatever.
As the black hedgehog crossed his arms, the fox and echidna walks over to the duo.
Fox: Are you guys OK?
Plucky: We're fine. But who are you guys?
Fox: My name is Miles Prower, but everybody calls me Tails.
Echidna: And I'm Knuckles the Echidna, guardian of the Master Emerald.
Plucky: Nice to meet you. I'm Plucky Duck.
Dizzy: And me Dizzy Devil.
Knuckles: What are you guys doing here?
Plucky: We came to this world by accident. You see, our ship crash-landed somewhere around here.
Shadow: So you fly like a bunch of idiots?
Plucky: HEY! It's not my fault! Some kid with a key made us crash into this world!
Tails: Well, if you're lost, don't worry because we know our way around this jungle.
Knuckles: You guys should come to Tails' Workshop at the end of the jungle.
Dizzy: Ooh, Dizzy hope they have food!
Shadow: Just as I expected. They are a bunch of fools.
Tails & Knuckles: SHADOW!
Shadow: Hmph, whatever.
Meanwhile, Sonic led Sora to a house at the end of the jungle. Along the way, Sora found a treasure chest containing five Pikmin.
Sonic: We're here at Tails' Workshop.
Sonic led Sora into the workshop. Inside the workshop is a pink hedgehog with a cream-colored cheek and arms, wearing a red dress, red boots, and white gloves. She turns around and looks very angry with her hands on her hips.
Sonic: Hey, Amy.
Amy: SONIC! You're late for our date!
Sonic: A date? I don't know what you're talking about.
Amy: Don't lie to me, Sonic! You promised me yesterday that we'd go on a date!
Sonic: Well, sorry. I have to help a fella who got lost in the jungle.
Amy: That's a lame excuse to-
She then looks at Sora and stops looking angry.
Amy: Oh, so you did brought a friend. Forgive my rudeness. Who are you?
Sora: I'm Sora.
Amy: Nice to meet you, Sora. My name is Amy Rose. I'm Sonic's girlfriend.
Sonic sweatdrops from that comment.
Sonic: You know, you don't have to use the g-word.
Amy: So you're a human. Did you come to help us?
?: I highly doubt that.
Sora, Sonic, and Amy turns to see Shadow entering the workshop with Tails, Knuckles, Plucky, and Dizzy.
Dizzy: Sora!
Sora: Plucky! Dizzy!
He ran up to Plucky and took his hands, staring into each other, but then turned away from each other, crossing their arms.
Shadow: Hmph, a bunch of clowns. They won't be useful to help us defeat Eggman.
Amy: SHADOW! You should be nice to newcomers! Not insult them!
Shadow: Hmph, whatever.
He walks away from the workshop.
Amy: Well, the more the merrier. Just make yourselves at home.
Sora: Well, anyways...
Sora & Plucky: I'M STAYING!
Dizzy: Sora, look what we found.
He shows them the block they found in the jungle.
Sora: What's that?
Dizzy: It Gummi Block. We use it to build Gummi Ship.
Sora: So that means...
Plucky: It means Buster must have came here. We must work together to find him.
He then glares at Sora.
Plucky: FOR NOW!
Sora: Fine, I'll tag along.
He then glares back at Plucky.
Sora: FOR NOW!
He then walks over to Amy.
Amy: Sonic told me that you were looking for your friends.
Sora: He said Riku and Kairi are here. Have you seen them?
Amy: Sadly, no. We haven't seen your friends.
Sora then looks down in sadness.
Amy: Why don't we look at some film strips to cheer you up?
She grabs a film projector and shows Sora and the gang clips of Sonic's past adventures. The last slide shows a strange looking castle that caught Sora's eyes.
Sora: What was that castle?
Plucky: What was what?
Sora: Nothing!
He then thinks about that castle
Sora: It's strange. I feel like I've been there before. But how? I've never left my island.
He then turns to Sonic.
Sora: Where are my friends, Riku and Kairi?
Sonic: I don't know.
Sora: But I thought that you...
Shadow then walks back in.
Shadow: That leaves just one place. We've been in this jungle for some time now. But we haven't found your friends. I believe they are at Angel Island. But Knuckles refuses to take us there.
Amy: Really, Knuckles wouldn't hide-
Knuckles: Oh shoot! I forgot to guard the Master Emerald!
Sonic: Way to go, knucklehead.
Sora: Knuckles, can we come along with you?
Knuckles: I don't see why not.
Shadow: I'll go along as an escort. After all, the jungle is a dangerous place.
When Sora, Sonic, and the rest of the gang left the workshop, Metal Sonic attacks again.
Sonic: Metal Sonic!
Sora: I thought you defeated him.
Sonic: He would always come back to cause trouble.
Plucky: Well, we should work together to stop him.
Tails: Great idea, Plucky.
Everyone took on Metal Sonic. Sonic and Shadow uses their Homing Attacks, Tails uses his Arm Cannon, Knuckles uses his punch attacks, Sora uses his Keyblade, Plucky uses his Fire Magic, and Dizzy uses his Spin Attack. They quickly defeated Metal Sonic who retreats again.
Knuckles: That was a piece of cake!
Plucky: The cake is a lie!
Everyone looks at Plucky weirdly.
Sora: You just have to make that reference, didn't you?
As the gang walks away, Metal Sonic watches them from the bushes. He activates his camera mode and sends the message back to Dr. Eggman's base. Inside the base is Eggman and his two robot companions. The yellow robot is named Decoe and the gray robot is named Bocoe.
Eggman: Metal Sonic is sending us a signal.
Decoe: It looks like Sonic and his friends are sending their new friends to Angel Island.
Bocoe: I wonder why they're heading there.
Eggman: Perfect! It will give me the opportunity to snatch the Master Emerald while they are away!
He laughs maniacally while Decoe and Bocoe sweatdrops. Meanwhile, back with Sora and the gang, they have reached Angel Island. Along the way, Sora encounters a chest with five more Pikmin. Finally, they have entered the shrine containing a giant emerald.
Sora: What is that?
Knuckles: It's the Master Emerald. My ancestors have been guarding it for centuries. It looks safe for now.
Shadow: Well, we came to the island. But we still haven't found your friends.
Sonic: We'll just have to keep searching.
Shadow: I don't have any time to waste. I'm leaving.
Tails: Shadow, WAIT!
Shadow then ran away from the group.
Sora: So what do we do now?
Plucky: I'll say let's just go back to the workshop.
Meanwhile, back in Eggman's base, Eggman is talking to Ganondorf through the monitor.
Ganondorf: Have you gotten the Master Emerald yet?
Eggman: I'm working on it.
Ganondorf: We don't have time to waste. I'm sending the Heartless to your world.
Eggman: Now, now, Ganondorf. I don't need any Heartless to help me. I've got an army of robots to help me.
Ganondorf: Nonsense! That boy with the Keyblade is a nuisance. I will be sending the Heartless to take care of him and his friends. Do you understand?
Eggman: Uhh, yes sir!
He then shuts off the monitor.
Eggman: What am I doing working with that imbecile? I'll defeat Sonic and the key brat myself! I'll get them somehow! I'll stake my life on it!
Metal Sonic then enters the room.
Eggman: Ahh, Metal Sonic. Perfect timing. I see that you have a little trouble with Sonic and his friends. Don't worry, my pet. I have a gift for you.
He then pulls out a green emerald.
Eggman: You'll need the Chaos Emerald if you wanna defeat Sonic. It will make you stronger and faster than that hedgehog.
He then gives Metal Sonic the emerald. Suddenly, Metal Sonic starts to glow with green energy as his power starts to rise. Eggman laughs maniacally again.
Eggman: HAHAHAHAHA! Perfect! Now I will get my revenge against Sonic!
Uh-oh! What will Eggman have in store for our heroes? That's it for chapter 8. Next chapter, Sora, Sonic, and the gang will take on Metal Sonic for the last time and Dr. Eggman.
