Mrs Stoker
Chapter 12
Mia seemed hesitant to speak first, so Loki led them to the couch and started talking about the connection between them. "Well as we told you, when I was banished I literally fell right into Mia's backyard. She happened to be outside and saw everything. I tried to use my charm and magic to wipe her memory, but I cannot lie to her. So I told her the truth and she believed me."
"No one can lie to me, it has always been a gift, or burden depending on how you look at it, since I can remember." Mia added while Frigga watched them both keenly.
"There is a connection between the two of you so strong that I can physically feel it. Power radiates from the two of you, even more so when you are touching." Frigga said, looking at them, clearly wanting them to elaborate on the connection.
"Yes, the moment we touch I could feel the magic not only within Mia herself, but growing and feeding whatever is going on between us." Loki said, looking at his sweet Mia as he did. "In all my long years I have never felt something like this. The power flowing between us is almost intoxicating." He paused here. He didn't want to embarrass Mia, but he felt that his mother could explain more if she knew everything. "Not to mention that we cannot seem to get enough of each other. A simple kiss can make me feel like I am on fire, if it's more than a chaste kiss, well things get intense."
Mia, blushing a bright red and not daring to look anyone in the eyes added, "Yes, being with Loki is otherworldly for me. I've always been different, and as I said no one can ever lie to me. I have good luck when it comes to finances and such, though not so much in connecting with other people. But with Loki, it feels like I've known him forever. I can show him my true self and he can do the same."
"In fact that is how I discovered my true origin, Mia simply was telling me that I could always be my true self with her and energy shot from her hands and the next think I know I was blue and looking into the red eyes of an ice giant. I could not stand the sight of myself, yet Mia here never faltered in telling me that I was the same to her, no matter what I looked like." Loki picked the story back up. "Mother before I left you mentioned a prophecy, could this have something to do with the connection between Mia and myself?"
"I think it has everything to do with what is happening between the two of you, which means there is much in store for you and young Mia here." Frigga beamed at them.
"What prophecy?" Mia asked.
"The night that Odin brought Loki home to me, the night he became my son, I was drawn into the nursery where Loki and Thor slept. There I had a two visions. One of a blond and powerful man sitting on the Throne of Asgard."
"Thor." Loki provided.
Frigga just nodded. "Then I saw Loki here, green eyed and raven haired, grown and sitting on a different throne, with a beautiful woman by his side. You my dear, I am certain of it. That's when I heard the words in my mind, 'Two, who represent four, will bring all nine together.' The two of you represent four of the nine realms, I think that is clear now. And together you are going to unite them all peacefully. I am positive that is what my vision met now."
"So you are saying that I am of another realm?" Mia asked, disbelieving.
"Your mother told you as much when you were younger, you just didn't believe her then." Loki said, taking her hand. "Now to figure out which realm your father was from."
"Your mother knew of your duel nature?" Frigga asked.
"Yes, I thought they were just stories. Everyone thought she was crazy, she ended up being institutionalized when I was a teen." Mia said, unshed tears in her eyes.
Loki pulled her into him, hugging her and giving her comfort. "You had no control over what happened to your mother, you were too young to do anything."
"I could have believed her. When I was a child I did. I loved her stories, but as I got older…" Mia buried her face in Loki's shoulder, tears coming out now.
"Shhh, you were young. You loved your mother and she knew that. Just as she knew that you were special." Loki comforted her until she quieted and the tears stopped.
Mia still clung to Loki when Frigga spoke to him. "I have never seen you like this my son. So loving, so caring, so at ease with yourself. This bring me such joy to see you like this Loki."
"It's all thanks to Mia." Loki said.
"Me? You are the one changing my life in unbelievable ways." Mia said, raising her head to stare into Loki's eyes. "You're wonderful."
A breathtaking smile broke out on Loki's face. "You are the one person to see that in me, which makes you the remarkable one."
"You two are going to make such a wonderful couple." Frigga said before looking directly at Mia, "Now my dear, tell me everything that you mother ever told you. It's time to find out the other half of you life."
