3rd POV

The Kurgan walked down the alleyway toward the entrance of Junior's Club. Nearby Emerald and Mercury were waiting for his arrival. When they saw him they rushed to either side of him as he continued forward. "Well?"

"(L/N) is at the bar," Emerald said. "He's with-"

"Kastagir," the Kurgan finished her statement. "Exactly what I wanted."

The two had no clue to how the Kurgan knew that Sunda Kastagir was present, but their thoughts were interrupted as the club bouncer moved in front of the doorway to block access to the Immortal.

"Hey pal you need to w-" the bouncer was cut off by the Kurgan's fist to his face. The three moved past the unconscious bouncer entering the club.

As the Kurgan made it further inside he felt a buzzing sensation in his head alerting him to the presence of the two Immortals. He knew they felt him too. "You two stay here," the Kurgan said. "If (L/N) comes this way slow him down."

(Y/N) POV

As the buzzing faded I got up from my seat and was ready to draw my sword. Kastagir grabbed my arm stopping me. "Why?"

"If someone is to be the last it must be you," Kastagir said. "Now go. Get out of here."

It was then that a great sorrow filled my heart. A friend I had known for centuries was ready to give his life for mine. A noble sacrifice that I did not deserve. The two of us embraced for one last time. "Kastagir, I'll never forget you," I said as I let go.

"Go (L/N)," Kastagir said as he pushed me away from the bar.

Obeying my friend's wishes I made my way past the patrons and headed for the stairs. As I went up I saw the Kurgan on the adjacent stairway. He looked at me with a smile as he descended to the lower levels of the club. When I reached the entrance level my path was blocked by a girl with green hair and a by with gray hair.

"Going somewhere?" the green haired girl asked as she removed a pair of bladed pistols from behind her back.

I realized what was going on. "After all these centuries I never thought the Kurgan would sink so low as to have children help him," I said with a grin.

They both looked surprised. "So you're like him?" the gray haired boy asked. "You're immortal."

"Yes, I'm immortal," I answered tapping into the power of my Quickening. "But I am nothing like him!" Time around me seemed to slow down as my sensed were enhanced. I ran towards the two kids who seemed frozen in place, and pushed them aside as I moved between them. Breaking through the door I ran down the alleyway and to the street. I looked back to see if those two were following me. Save for those that had been in line and an unconscious bouncer I was in the clear. "Farewell, old friend."

3rd POV

The Kurgan stepped onto the dancefloor with the colored lights flashing at his feet and the spots above shining down. He moved through the dancing patrons nearing the center where he saw his prey across from him. "Kastagir!" the Kurgan shouted.

"Kurgan!" Kastagir growled back. He reached into his robes pulling out a scimitar causing those around him to back away.

The Kurgan removed his claymore from his back making the patrons around him to back off as well. A clearing had been made in the center of the dancefloor with both Immortals at either side. "Die Faunus!" the Kurgan shouted the two Immortals charged releasing sparks into the air as their blades clashed. The spacing grew as they moved around with many patrons staying to watch the fight. It was then that the club owner Junior appeared with his twin bodyguards.

"What's going on here?" Junior asked one of his henchmen.

"These guys pulled swords out and started going at it," the man said.

"Get the others," Junior said. "I'm not going to have a repeat of what that girl did."

The two Immortals' fight brought them close to the bar where their blades locked together. Junior's henchmen arrived with automatic Dust rifles in hand.

"Break it up now!" Junior shouted as he and four of his men aimed their guns at the two Immortals.

Kastagir became distracted by their presence and the Kurgan used that moment to force the Faunus' blade upward. "There can be only one!" he shouted as he swung his sword cutting through Kastagir's neck and both of his arms.

The patrons around Junior screamed in terror having seen the Faunus beheaded in front of them. "Shoot him!" he shouted as he and his men started shooting. The Kurgan's body became riddled with bullet holes and the combined force of the impacts sent him over the bar counter. He hit the wall breaking liquor bottles as he fell to the ground. Junior handed one of the twins his gun and walked over to the bar. As he opened the door to get behind the counter the Kurgan popped out running his sword through his gut.

As the Kurgan came out from behind the bar, he lifted Junior up with his blade still inside him and flung him towards his men and bodyguards. Then Kastagir's body gave off a white glow which moved toward the Kurgan who had his claymore held in front of him. He moaned as the Quickening ran through and around his body. The floor and spot lights exploded sending sparks into the air.

The patrons ran for the exit as the liquor behind the bar caught fire and started to spread. Junior watched in terror as the Quickening continued to destroy his club. Then it was over.

Emerald POV

Mercury and I saw people run for the club entrance as the red glow of flames came from the club's lower levels. Then we saw the Kurgan come up the stairs. His clothes were shredded and stained with blood.

"What happened?" I demanded.

"Another one down," the Kurgan answered with a smile. "Come on. It's getting hot in here."

The three of us left the club with the Kurgan who shoved people out of the way as we moved down the alley. When we reached the street he stood in the middle stopping a car. He hit the roof with his sword and proceeded to rip it off the vehicle. In the driver's seat sat a man in his late thirties and beside him was an old woman almost twice his age. The Kurgan grabbed the driver and tossed him to the curb.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"What does it look like I'm doing?" the Kurgan asked as he tossed his sword in the backseat and jumping into the driver's seat. "Get back to the hideout. I'll meet up with you later."

"Umm…" Mercury said motioning to the old woman in the passenger seat.

The Kurgan looked at the old woman who looked back at him. "Mom," he said with a smile. "BOO!" The old woman started to scream and he put his foot on the gas leaving us behind. She stood up in her seat crying for help as he turned at the next street out of sight.

When we heard the sirens of the fire truck down the street took it as our cue to leave. We ran navigating the alleyways so that we would avoid detection. We eventually found a ladder that took us to the rooftops where we stopped to catch our breath.

"That guy's insane," Mercury said. "Kurgan shouldn't be helping us. He going to ruin everything."

"Yeah," I replied. "Cinder's definitely not going to like this."

Yang POV

Torchwick had escape after I had destroyed the Paladin armor he was piloting. When Ruby questioned where Sun and Neptune were I remembered what Neptune and I saw. "Wait guys we need to get to Junior's Club right away."

"What for?" asked Weiss.

'When Neptune and I were out today we saw (L/N)," I started "We followed him to a park where he met with a guy named Kastagir. They talked about having a party at Junior's. We can still get them if we go now."

"Yang," Ruby said upset at me. "I thought we were done with this. You need to stop-"

"Hold on Yang," Blake said. "You said Kastagir. As in Sunda Kastagir?"

"I don't know," I told her. "(L/N) called him Kastagir. They seemed like really good friends. Why?"

"Sunda Kastagir is a Faunus civil rights activist that the White Fang holds with high regard," Blake said. "If he's friends with (L/N) then it doesn't explain why Kurgan was at the rally tonight."

"Wait, Kurgan was there?" Weiss asked alarmed.

"He was there with Torchwick," Blake replied. "But he left after getting a message on his Scroll."

"He might be going-" Ruby began before she stopped herself.

"He might be going after (L/N)," I said finishing her statement. "Then we need to get there before someone loses their head."
