Chapter 13: Return to Traverse Town Part 2
Sora and the gang made their way back to the Third District where they encountered more Heartless. Sora and his friends got ready for a fight when all of a sudden, they got destroyed.
Sora: What happened? What killed them?
He looks up and his mouth and eyes opened wide. He saw a certain white-haired boy carrying a sword. That boy was none other than Riku.
Riku: There you are. How's it going?
Sora: Riku! Is that really you?
He ran over to Riku, grabs his cheeks, and moves them around.
Riku: Hey, cut it out! Of course it's me.
Sora: I'm not dreaming this time, right?
Riku: I hope not. It took me forever to find you.
Sora: Riku, I finally found you!
He gave Riku a friendly hug. Plucky and Dizzy both smiled.
Plucky: See, kid? You never gave up and you found your friend.
Sora pulls away from Riku and turns to Plucky.
Sora: I couldn't have done it without your help. Thanks!
Dizzy: You welcome!
Sora turns back to Riku and realizes something.
Sora: Wait a second! Where's Kairi?
Riku: I thought she was with you.
Sora looks down and made a sad face.
Sora: Where is she?
Riku puts his hands on Sora's shoulders.
Riku: Don't worry. I'm sure she made it off the island too.
He walks away from the group.
Riku: We're finally free. She might even be looking for us now.
Unknown to Riku, a Shadow was sneaking behind him, ready to attack.
Riku: We'll all be together soon. Don't worry. Just leave everything to me. I know this...
The Shadow jumps, but Sora slashes it away. Everyone looks at Sora with surprise. Sora turns to Riku with a smirk and puts the Keyblade over his shoulders.
Sora: Leave it to who?
Riku: Sora, what did you...
Sora: I've been looking for you and Kairi too, with their help.
He points to Plucky and Dizzy.
Sora: These guys made my adventures fun.
Riku looks at them with a funny look.
Riku: Who are they?
Plucky: Allow me to introduce myself. My name is-
Sora: We've traveled to so many worlds, trying to find you.
Riku: Really? What do you know? I never would have guessed.
Dizzy jumps onto Sora's back.
Dizzy: Oh, and guess what? Sora the Keyblade Master!
Plucky: Who would've thought it?
Sora looks back at Plucky with an angry look.
Sora: What does that mean?
Riku: So, this thing is called a Keyblade?
Everyone turns to see Riku holding Sora's Keyblade.
Sora: Hey, give it back!
Sora tried to grab the Keyblade from Riku, but he jumps back, causing Sora to fall. Riku examines the Keyblade.
Riku: Remarkable craftsmanship. It's both a sword and a key. That's pretty cool. I've already have my own weapon, so I don't need it.
He threw the Keyblade back to Sora, who caught it.
Sora: OK, you're coming with us, right? We've got this awesome rocket! With you on the team, the Heartless won't stand a chance!
Plucky: Sorry, kid. But he can't come.
Sora turns back to Plucky.
Sora: Why not?
Plucky: I have my reasons!
Sora: You have to! He's my friend! He's like a brother! He's-
Dizzy: He gone!
Everyone turns to see that Riku was gone.
Sora: Riku?
He walks around the district, trying to find him.
Sora: Nice going, Plucky!
Plucky: Sorry, kid. But he would've gotten in our way.
Dizzy walks up to Sora and held his hand.
Sora: Don't worry, Dizzy. At least we know he's OK.
Plucky: Well, kid. That's one down and one to go.
Sora: You're right. And who knows? Maybe we'll run into Kairi soon.
Sora and the gang arrives at a house in the district. At the window, they saw Yuffie. Sora knocks on the door and Yuffie answers it.
Yuffie: Hey, guys!
Sora: Hi, Yuffie! Where's Cid?
Yuffie: He's over there with the others.
Sora's group follows Yuffie and arrives at a room with a bed and a table where Leon, Aerith, and Cid are sitting.
Yuffie: I'm back!
Everyone turns to see Yuffie with Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy.
Leon: What brings you three here?
Sora: We were looking for Cid.
Cid: Well, you found me. So you took the book to Mumbo, right?
Sora: Yes we did.
Cid: Well, anyway, have you heard of a man named Ganondorf?
Sora: Who's Ganondorf?
Cid: Some people say he's the King of Evil.
Leon: He's the reason we lost our world.
Cid: I hear he was in this town.
Leon: You see, it's because of him that this town is full of Heartless.
Sora's group made shocked looks
Leon: Don't take him lightly.
Aerith: And believe it or not, he's been using them for years.
Leon: And because of that sorcerer, we lost our world to the Heartless as well. One day, we got ambushed by them and they destroyed our world. That was nine years ago.
Cid: I got outta that mess and came here with these guys. Funny, I feel like I'm still babysittin them today.
Plucky: That's terrible!
Aerith: We arrived and the kind citizens allowed us to build a home here.
Cid: I was and still am like a father to them. I had to watch over them and get a job to pay for everything.
Leon: Our ruler was a wise man named Ansem. He devoted his life to studying the Heartless and the reports you were told about earlier could be the key to putting an end to them.
Sora: Where are they then?
Yuffie: They were scattered to other worlds. Don't know where they are?
Aerith: We have suspicions that Ganondorf may have most of them.
Meanwhile, outside of the house, Riku was looking through the window with Ganondorf next to him.
Ganondorf: You see? It's just like I told you. While you are searching for your dear friend, he replaced you with new ones. Now, he values them way more than he does you, especially that Tasmanian Devil.
Riku sees Sora playing with Dizzy. He made a sad look and turns back.
Ganondorf: You're better off without that wretched boy. Now, think of him no more and come with me. I'll help you find what you are searching for.
Back inside the house, Sora finished telling everyone what's been going on when Cid spoke up.
Cid: While you've been deliverin the book, I took care of the Gummi Ship. Now you can visit some new worlds. I've also threw in a Warp Gummi, so you can easily warp back to other worlds.
Sora: Good. In case we need to make a quick stop, we can use the warp feature to return to another world in a hurry.
Cid: Well, I'm headin back to my real job. What's my real job, you ask? You'll see.
He walks out the door and said good-bye.
Aerith: I've been thinking about the bell in the Second District.
Sora: The one that rang a while ago?
Yuffie: The one above the Gizmo Shop. There's a legend about it, you know.
Aerith: But it's all boarded up. Nobody can get in there.
Leon: Go check it out. Ring it three times to see if anything happens.
Sora: We should get going too. Come on, guys!
He looks around the room and only saw Plucky.
Sora: Where's Dizzy?
Plucky: He's over there.
Sora turns to notice Dizzy in front of a T.V., watching Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Sora just laughs.
Sora: I haven't seen that show since I was like 5.
Plucky: Come on, kid! Grab Dizzy and let's check out the Gizmo Shop!
Sora grabs Dizzy and starts walking away.
Sora: Come on, Dizzy. We have to go.
Dizzy: Aww, but Dizzy wanna see Megazord destroy monster.
Sora and the gang left the house and heads towards the Second District. Along the way, they encountered Large Bodies and Green Requiems. the Green Requiems are like the other magic Heartless, except that they are green and heal other Heartless. The trio manages to finish them off and heads towards the Gizmo Shop. At the Gizmo Shop, they encountered more magic Heartless, Air Soldiers, and Large Bodies. They quickly finished them off and proceed to climb to the top of the gizmo shop. There, they found the bell which Sora rang three times. The walls on the fountains changed and the Keyhole appeared. Sora and the gang ran towards it when suddenly, a familiar foe returns.
Sora: No! Not you again!
The gang looks up to see the Guard Armor.
Plucky: Didn't we kill you before?
Dizzy: No problem! We can beat giant Heartless again!
Sora: First, I'll call for extra help!
Sora uses the Rescue Gem to summon Team Go-Getters again.
Cyndaquil: Let's do it, guys!
Chikorita & Totodile: Right!
Cyndaquil uses Flame Wheel to curl into a fireball and hits the Guard Armor. Chikorita uses Magical Leaf to summon a bunch of colorful leaves. Totodile uses Aqua Tail to create a vortex of water around his tail and hits the Heartless with it. Plucky uses Thunder, Dizzy delivers Mega Punch and Mega Kick, and Sora uses Sonic Blade. The Heartless finally fell down.
Sora: We did it!
Plucky: That was easy!
Suddenly, the Guard Armor went back up. This time, it's upside down. It's arms are now the feet, it's feet are now hands, and it's helmet opens up. It is now Opposite Armor.
Sora: WHAT? We're not finished yet?
Dizzy: No problem! We can still beat this thing!
Everybody attacks Opposite Armor, but it blocks most of their attacks. The Heartless spins it's whole body, knocking everyone away. It then forms itself into a cannon and fires a beam at everyone. Everyone has taken serious damage.
Sora: Man, this thing is much stronger than it use to be!
Plucky: I don't think all of us together can beat this thing!
Dizzy: No! We can still defeat this thing!
Cyndaquil: Me, Chikorita, and Totodile has dealt with much worse than this.
Chikorita: Cyndaquil's right! We must work together as a team!
Totodile: Let's do it, guys!
Sora: Me and Cyndaquil will aim for the body! Plucky and Dizzy will take care of the feet! Chikorita and Totodile will go for the arms!
Everybody: Right!
Plucky and Dizzy went after the feet with the Blizzard and Spin Attack combo, Chikorita uses Ancient Power to summon a white energy ball to attack one arm, while Totodile uses Ice Beam to freeze the other arm, Cyndaquil uses Double Kick on the body, while Sora uses Sonic Blade to finish it off. The Opposite Armor got defeated and disappears for good.
Sora: We did it!
Plucky: Let's hope that we never see that thing again.
Cyndaquil: Thanks for summoning us, Sora. See you later!
Team Go-Getters went back into their gem. Sora walks to the Keyhole and uses the Keyblade to fire a beam into the Keyhole. A locking sound was heard and the Keyhole disappears. About an hour later, Sora went back to the hotel where Leon was waiting. Sora explains everything that has happened.
Leon: I see. So there was a Keyhole here after all.
Sora: Yes, and now this world should be safe from the Heartless for a while.
Leon: Before you leave, there's one thing I must tell you.
Sora: What is it?
Leon: I was doing research when I came across something about seven maidens known as the Princesses of Heart.
Plucky: The Princesses of Heart?
Leon: I believe they hold the key to unlocking a powerful darkness that could bring the end of all worlds.
Dizzy: Really?
Leon: It was something also mentioned in Ansem's Report. I believe Ganondorf is after the Princesses.
Sora: That's probably why Saori disappeared. She was one of the seven Princesses.
Leon: As I feared, he might be trying to get them all to gain true power.
Plucky: We have to stop him before the worlds will be destroyed!
Leon: Before you go, take this.
Leon hands a scroll to Sora. As he reads the scroll, a gust of wind surrounds him.
Sora: Whoa! What was that?
Plucky: You've learned Aero. It will increase your defense.
Leon: There's no time to waste. You three should get going.
Sora: Right! Plucky, Dizzy, let's go!
The trio said good-bye and heads back to the First District.
Plucky: Before we leave, we should stock up on supplies.
Sora: I wonder if Cid has anything good at his shop.
Dizzy: Come on! Dizzy wanna see!
The gang arrives at the shop, only to find out that Cid wasn't there. The gang looks around the shop, trying to find him. Elder-Ham came out to look too.
Sora: Cid? Where are you?
Dizzy: No one home. Cid must be sleeping.
Elder-Ham: Guys, I found somebody!
Plucky: Did you find Cid?
Elder-Ham: No, but it's two hamsters that I know.
Everybody ran to the counter where Elder-Ham was. below the counter, everyone saw two hamsters. One was an orange and cream-colored hamster, the other was a white hamster with two blue ribbons forming pigtails. Next to them was a box.
Elder-Ham: Well, I'll be. If it isn't Hamtaro and Bijou.
Elder-Ham walks up to the orange hamster named Hamtaro and the white hamster named Bijou.
Hamtaro: Oh, hi, Elder-Ham.
Elder-Ham: What in the world are you two doing here?
Bijou:(French accent)Umm...Playing hide-and-seek.
Elder-Ham walks around in circles, wondering what he could do to the two hamsters.
Elder-Ham: I just can't believe it. Here I was up all night, worried sick about you two. And now, I found you two lying.
Hamtaro: No, Elder-Ham! We weren't lying!
Elder-Ham: Then what is that box you two are carrying?
Bijou: It was a present.
Elder-Ham: No more lying! You two know you're not suppose to tell lies! A lie only grows and grows until you get caught!
Hamtaro: But if you want something, why not just take it?
Elder-Ham: No, Hamtaro! You can't go around stealing things! You'll need some advice from your elders!
Bijou: He's right, Hamtaro. We should never tell lies as long as Elder-Ham's around.
Hamtaro: You're right, Bijou. I'll also return this box too.
Elder-Ham: You two need to be good hamsters. You promised Boss that you would be, right?
Hamtaro: Do you know where Boss and the rest of the Ham-Hams are?
Elder-Ham: They're not with you two?
Bijou: Let's go find zhe other Ham-Hams with Elder-Ham.
Elder-Ham: Now hold on! There are all sorts of danger and temptations. I'll go find the Ham-Hams. You two just wait here.
Elder-Ham then turns to Sora and the gang.
Elder-Ham: These fellows will be helping me.
Plucky: We will?
Elder-Ham: Well, shall we go?
Sora: You should've asked us first.
Elder-Ham climbs on Sora's arm and went up his jacket. As the gang leaves the Accessory Shop, Hamtaro and Bijou looks at each other and nods. They ran out of the shop and went after the gang.
Hamtaro: Wait up! We wanna come with you!
Sora and the gang turns to the two hamsters.
Elder-Ham: No way! I told you two to stay here.
Bijou: But we really wanna find zhe rest of zhe Ham-Hams. Zhey might be worried about us.
Hamtaro: So please let us come with you. We promise to behave.
Elder-Ham: Alright. We'll let you come with us. But we want you two to stay outta trouble, OK?
Hamtaro & Bijou: HOORAY!
The two hamsters climbed on Sora's arm and went up his jacket.
Sora: Nice to meet you two. I'm Sora.
He points to Plucky and Dizzy.
Sora: And these two are Plucky and Dizzy.
Hamtaro: Nice to meet you guys. We can have fun.
Plucky: OK. Can we get back to the Gummi Ship?
Sora: OK. Let's go.
The gang leaves Traverse Town and went on the Gummi Ship.
Sweetie: Sora, I have good news for you!
Sora: What is it?
Sweetie: There's a tournament being held at the Ever Grande Conference!
Sneezer: I here there's a great reward for the winner.
Sora: Alright!
Plucky: Now we can kick some butt and win the tournament faster than you can say "good night, everybody!"
Suddenly, Hamtaro and Bijou came out of Sora's jacket. Sweetie and Sneezer notices them.
Sneezer: Well, it looks like we have guests.
Sweetie: And they're the same size as us. Who are you two?
Hamtaro: Hi. I'm Hamtaro.
Bijou: And I'm Bijou.
Sweetie: Nice to meet you, Hamtaro and Bijou. I'm Sweetie Bird.
Sneezer: And my name is Little Sneezer.
Hamtaro and Bijou ran up and immediately befriends Sweetie and Sneezer. Sora walks up to Sweetie and Sneezer.
Sora: I hate to bother your new friendships, but we have a tournament.
Sweetie: Oh right. Back to the Pokemon World!
Sneezer: Yes, mam!
Sweetie and Sneezer went back to the controls and this time, used the Warp Drive to teleport to the Pokemon World.
That's it for chapter 13. Before any of you ask about Summons, I know that using Summons required using two of your sidekicks to activate. I'm just doing something a little different with them and have them fight alongside Plucky and Dizzy. Next time, Sora returns to the Pokemon World to participate in a tournament.
