Hermione isn't sure when her and Ron became able to read each other so well. All it takes, nowadays, is a glance at each other and then a glance at Harry, and they've had an entire conversation with each other.

They both know it: Harry Potter has a problem. The problem comes in the form of one blond ferrety little snake.

"Do you think he's ever going to figure out that he has a crush on him?" Ron asks, glancing over at Hermione before looking back over at Harry craning his head around to search for Malfoy in the Great Hall.

"I don't think he will," Hermione says, bringing up a hand and waving it in front of Harry. Harry makes no reaction. "Seeing as we're talking about it in front of him and he's not responding."

"Harry," Ron says, calling to his best friend. Harry pays him no attention. "I'm worried about you," he says, quite serious. "I think you need help."

"Are we talking about Harry's crush on Malfoy?" Ginny says, coming to sit down next to them.

"Yep," Hermione replies, waving hello. "He still refuses to acknowledge it."

"How does he pass his classes if he's this unobservant?" Ginny asks.

Harry still sits there, looking through the sea of people in the Great Hall, still looking somewhere for Malfoy.

"He doesn't," Ron deadpans. "Hermione does that for him."

Hermione shrugs, because she doesn't deny it. "You know, we need to hold an intervention for him."

"An intervention?" Ginny repeats, frowning at Hermione.

"Yeah, we need to just sit him down, all calm, and say: Harry. You like Malfoy."

"I'm sure that will go over well," Ron says with a chuckle, filling his mouth up with more cereal.

"Would you rather this?" Hermione says, gesturing to their friend in front of them. Both of the Weasleys shrug.

So, Hermione gets to planning.
