The Dragon Games were soon starting to begin as Blondie Locks did another MirrorCast.
"Wow. See the floating jewels above the stadium?" Blondie Locks reported. "They determine the number of points a goal is worth once a rider flies through them."
"Nice." Patch said.
Snow White flew through a raindrop-shaped red ruby. Meanwhile, The Evil Queen loomed above her with a cackle as she stole the disc.
"Hey!" Patch growled.
Faybelle soon flew to the stands and found a magic mirror in Snow White's purse. Mo saw what Faybelle was doing and didn't like it.
"I haven't seen a vision this spellbinding since I last checked my hair," Daring said before gasping as he reached inside of his mirror bag to check himself out. "Speaking of which, still perfect."
Faybelle blankly stares forward and reaches into Daring's mirror bag, replacing the magic mirror from Snow's bag with one of his. Mo glared to that slightly.
"Sorry Daring, gotta go, the, uh, glare from your smile is blinding my view!" Fayebelle smiled nervously.
Mo soon thought of something until she remembered her power of nature. She then looked away innocently before making a gust of wind appear around the Dark Fairy girl.
"Whoa!" Faybelle yelped.
"Oh, um, hey!" Daring told Faybelle. "You dropped this! Nice taste in mirrors, by the way."
"No!" Mo whispered loudly.
"Phew!" Faybelle smiled in relief as she took the mirror before flying away.
"Or was this her mirror?" Daring wondered before shrugging. "Oh well, I have plenty."
"Oh, this is not good." Mo said.
The Evil Queen and Snow White are still at it. The Evil Queen takes a dive and lands squarely on the ground, holding up the disc. Spyro snarled as he was really angry with Evil Queen as Atticus held him back while writing a quick letter back to Twilight and had Spike send it to the Alicorn Princess of Friendship in which he did without question.
"I hate that Evil Queen, Dad." Spyro told his trainer.
"I know, I do too." Atticus agreed.
Spyro soon felt something shining in his right eye.
"Okay, to the Dragon Games arena, hopefully Twilight gets that message." Atticus told Spyro.
"I hope so too." Spike said.
"And that's how it's done!" Blondie Locks told her audience. "What a great demonstration from the old guard. And now it's time for the next generation! The teams will now take the field."
"Oh, yeah!" Spyro smiled.
"Now's your chance, Spyro." Atticus smiled back to his dragon.
"Come on, Dad, let's go." Spyro smiled back.
Atticus and Spyro nodded together as they went to join the team as they joined the girls who were going to compete in the Games as they were both excited to be a part of the games. The double doors open, revealing the girls. Three from each team made their way onto the fields. Some of the dragons are less than enthusiastic about playing, however. Holly's dragon, taken care of by Lizzie, was disobedient when Lizzie urged it to move before she ended up falling backwards and was instantly sent to the infirmary, but she gave Holly a high-five while being towed away. Others soon attempted passing through the low jewels. Spyro was focusing hard with Atticus as their training was going to come into very good use unlike the other dragons, but for him, it wasn't easy.
"Well, at least Atticus is doing a lot better than I thought he would." Drell approved as he clapped with the others.
"Well, he has trained Spyro much longer than the others trained their dragons." Mo said.
"I guess I'll just have to take your word for it," Cherry replied. "I've always wondered that."
The dragons were soon fed. Atticus smiled to Spyro as he then decided to get his own sandwich.
"I made you a sandwich~" Mo came toward Atticus.
"Wow, I was just thinking about that." Atticus smiled.
"I know~" Mo smiled back to him. "I made this steak sandwich just for you... You should keep up your strength."
"Thanks, Mo." Atticus smiled back.
"Enjoy," Mo replied. "I made a special sauce for the steak that Gloriosa recommended."
Atticus soon took a bite out of the sandwich. Mo smiled to him before walking off to leave him to his sandwich as she took out her own which was mostly vegetarian. Ever since she found out Captain Planet was her uncle and that Timber and Gloriosa were her brother and sister, she ate a lot more healthy, almost like a vegetarian, but still ate meat and fish on occasion.
Once everyone was filled with food, they were satisfied.
"Hey, Cherry, good food?" Atticus asked.
"I had some chicken and rice." Cherry smiled as she finished her meal in satisfaction.
"Oh, that food was delicious." Patch smiled.
Faybelle soon flew to find the Evil Queen.
"What is that evil fairy up to now?" Patch groaned.
"She's worse than a jealous Tinkerbell." Cherry huffed.
"Yeah, she's just always up to no good." Atticus said.
Drell came toward them.
"Can I borrow this? Thanks." Atticus said as he took Drell's wand and turned himself and the others into bugs so they could secretly follow Faybelle.
"Bugs again?!" Cherry complained. "Didn't we learn enough on Ant Island against those grasshoppers?"
"How else are we going to secretly follow her?" Atticus asked.
"Ugh..." Cherry rolled her eyes. "Let's just get this over with."
Atticus led the way and everyone followed him as they were all insects.
"It's done." Faybelle told the Evil Queen.
"Did you feed them the growth formula?" The Evil Queen asked the dark fairy girl.
'Growth formula?' Patch thought to himself.
As if on cue, Holly's dragon enlarged in size and started roaring menacingly.
"Yes." Faybelle grinned to the Evil Queen as that was the answer to the woman's question.
"Hexcellent." The Evil Queen grinned back.
"Oh, no... Spyro ate some of that food." Atticus whispered to the others.
"This isn't good." Mo groaned.
"Now what?" Cherry asked. "Those dragons are all doomed."
"No, they're not." Patch said.
"You got a plan?" Mo asked the Dalmatian.
Patch began to tell them his plan. They all listened in closely and carefully.
"Are you ready for more Dragon Games?" Snow White asked the Ever After High students before seeing the enlarged dragons. "Let's begin round-Two?!" She then shot a glare to her enemy.
Atticus and the others soon appeared. Snow White then shot the Evil Queen a glare in accusatory.
"What? Don't look at me!" Evil Queen defended. "I was right here the whole time!"
"What an unhexpected development!" The male narrator gasped. "For the first time in a generation, full-sized dragons have taken the field!"
"Not really helpful, are you?" Cherry glared at the narrator.
"What do you want from me?" The male narrator replied. "I'm just doing my job!"
"Can't narrators help the good guys?" Cherry asked.
"Well, sometimes, but-" the male narrator replied uneasily.
"So help us!" Cherry demanded.
"Alright. Alright." The male narrator said.
"Coming to you live from the grandstands," Blondie reported. "Not too hot, not too cold-"
"Yay! Dragon Games!" A ballerina girl squealed.
A fairy girl then took a selfie with Blondie and the ballerina girl.
"I don't recognize those students." Mo remarked.
"Drell, who are those two?" Atticus asked.
"Huh? Oh, them," Drell replied. "That ballerina girl is Justine Dancer: the daughter of the 12th Dancing Princess, and that's Farrah Goodfairy, she's the daughter of The Blue Fairy from Pinocchio," he then paused a moment. "You know, I don't think I've ever sent you guys on a Pinocchio adventure now that I think about it."
"No, you haven't." Atticus said.
"Have I...?" Drell asked as he brought out a book of the many adventures of Cherry, Atticus, and anyone else. "Gosh, you guys have been on so many adventures... I thought for sure you would've met Pinocchio and Gepetto already."
"Nope." Patch said.
"I'm a failure..." Drell face-palmed himself. "Eh, who knows? Maybe Doc Croc and Yoyo will show up."
"And there you have it!" Blondie smiled to the crowd. "This day has turned out to be just right!"
"Yes, it has." Sombra smirked.
"Oh, my!" Blondie Locks gasped at the sight of Sombra.
"Oh, don't worry, you can 'bear' me, dear." Sombra teased the daughter of Goldilocks.
"Oh, ha, ha." Blondie Locks rolled her eyes.
"Have fun and play safe," Snow White told her team. "Remember, this is just a game."
"This isn't just a game!" The Evil Queen told her team. "You're here to win by any means necessary."
"This is worse than Principal Cinch!" Mo complained.
"You can say that again." Patch said.
"Victory is all that matters!" The Evil Queen told her team. "Take your positions."
Atticus soon came with Spyro as the referee blew the whistle. The disc soon shot out from the ground and Melody, the daughter of the Pied Piper, retrieved the disc from Poppy who scowled at that.
"Go, team, go!" Mo cheered for Atticus's team.
Atticus smiled and waved to her. Mo smiled back before blowing him a kiss. Patch began to pray for his owner. Flying near the jewels, Darling tried cornering Melody by blocking her. Melody then decided on letting the disc fly off behind her. To Melody's luck, Apple soon caught it.
"Great catch, Apple!" Crow cheered.
"Looks like Apple has her own cheerleader." Mo smiled.
"I can't be a cheerleader," Crow replied. "Only girls can be cheerleaders."
"Uh-uh, my big brother was a cheerleader." Cherry told him as she showed her brother's high school yearbook.
"Oh... Well, okay then." Crow said.
"Great catch," Melody told Apple. "Go for the ruby!"
"Yeah, go for the ruby!" Crow added.
"That's worth 50 points if I can get it in the goal!" Apple said to herself before she flew her dragon straight and rotated a bit to her right, throwing the disc perfectly through the goal.
"Where's your sister?" Drell asked Crow suspiciously.
"Yeah, we don't see her anywhere." Mo added.
"I honestly don't know where she is," Crow replied. "She seemed to vanish after we yelled at Mom."
"That's strange." Mo said.
"Hmm..." Drell hummed in thought before teleporting away and made himself appear wherever Raven was.
Poppy was now the one with the disc this time. She then threw it back to Darling, who avoids Apple's tackle.
"Go, Darling!" Raven cheered as she was down in the stands.
"Raven, why are you down here?" Drell asked.
"GAH!" Raven shrieked since she didn't know he was there. "What are YOU doing here?!"
"I should be asking you the same thing." Drell said.
"Just watching the Games." Raven told him.
"And not participating in the game?" Drell asked.
"Well, uh, um, I dunno..." Raven stammered to the warlock, she felt a little jumpy to see him and she couldn't think straight. "Oh, please don't turn me into an animal for a hundred years!"
"I won't; I'm just surprised you're not wanting to compete." Drell said.
"It's no big deal, really." Raven said, stepping away from the warlock.
"Maybe we could talk about it, dear," Drell said with a small smirk, though trying not to be creepy, but tried to also get information out of her. "It'll be good for you."
Raven grinned nervously as she stepped away from him.
"Seriously." Drell said.
"Can we just please just watch the Dragon Games?" Raven asked.
Drell glanced at her before he looked back to the Games then. Raven rubbed her arm as they began to watch again.
"Haha!" Darling laughed as she threw the disc at Poppy then.
Poppy then flew through three sapphire gems in a row, then passed the disc back to Darling. Everyone continued to cheer as Darling made her way to the goal so they could get some points.
"Remember, any means necessary!" The Evil Queen reminded Apple as she did her part.
After hearing the Evil Queen's words, Apple soon cut off Darling's path mid-air by bashing her dragon into Darling's. Darling herself was soon airborne, and she fell onto the ground with a thud. The crowd was perplexed and the referee blew his whistle.
"Time out!" The referee called out.
"I hope you know what you're doing," Apple firmly pouted at the Evil Queen. "My friends are getting hurt!"
"A necessary evil," The Evil Queen scoffed. "Remember, we must get Raven to take the field for the plan to work!
"You mean, I get my happily ever after?" Apple reminded. "You promised."
"What? Oh, yes. Yes, certainly." The Evil Queen then replied.
Snow White waited to hear Darling's condition.
"I'm good, Coach, send me back in." Darling told Snow White before wincing.
"No, it's over," Snow White shook her head. "We must forfeit."
"Well, that's that," The male narrator sighed in dismay. "Good surrenders."
"And evil wins." The female narrator added.
"You can't be serious!" Cherry complained to the narrators.
"Yes, we are." The narrators confirmed.
Snow White began to make her way down to announce that she and her dragon team would have to forfeit.
"She always wins! Somebody has got to stop her!" Raven and Crow glared from where they both were sitting.
"Whoa! Chill out, guys!" Cherry said. "I'm mad too, but settle down a little, huh?"
"Our mom is ruining our lives, I think we have a right to be upset!" Crow glared in defense.
"Oh, I know this one," Madeline soon said before pointing at the siblings. "One of you."
"Since we do not have enough players to take the field, we surrender." Snow White firmly decided.
'And one of the Evil Queen's children arrives to let there be no surrender in 3, 2, 1.' Drell thought to himself.
'I hope things don't get awkward for them.' Mo thought to herself.
The crowd's only reaction was in fear and nervousness of the Games being forfeited.
"All right, Crow, we need to help out." Raven said to her brother.
"Right." Crow nodded.
"Ooh, which one of them is going to join Snow White's dragon team? Since they only need one more player to keep them from forfeiting." Brooke said to the other two narrators.
Crow soon stood up.
"Are you going to do it?" Raven asked.
"Yeah, I think I should," Crow replied. "It would be brave and honorable to do."
"And you just wanna impress Snow White so that she'll let you spend some time with Apple, right?" Raven guessed.
Crow glanced over with a deadpan gaze.
"What?" Raven smirked. "I thought that was true."
"Maybe." Crow muttered. "But also it's the right thing to do."
"Ooh, this is gonna be good." Maddie smiled.
A second later, Crow was soon in a Dragon Games uniform as Midnight was now back his full-grown dragon form before Crow got on his dragon's back and took to the sky.
"Hmm... All according to plan." The Evil Queen smirked at herself as she tapped her fingers together in excitement.
"Ooh! These faux gems look so real!" Daring beamed as he looked through his prized mirror with some snacks with him. "They could use a polish though. Rapture! A delicious meal."
"Delicious meal captured." The mirror spoke before suddenly taking away his snacks.
"Oh, come on!" Daring complained from that. "Who took my cotton candy?"
"Allow me a moment to play you 'The World's Smallest Violin'." Cherry rolled her eyes.
"Capture Cherry." Patch said before counting down from three.
"Wait, what?" Cherry asked.
"Cherry captured." The mirror spoke before suddenly taking Cherry away.
"What? Where did Cherry go?" Darling asked.
"Spaaaawwwt!" Cherry cried out before she was suddenly sent away. "I'll get you for thiiiiis!"
High up on the arena tower, Baba Yaga and the Grimm Brothers were watching the match intently as a certain dark fairy girl was sneaking from behind.
"Hey, esteemed faculty! Say cheese!" Faybelle smirked as she got their attention before blowing the powder at them.
The crowd soon cheered as the Dragon Games were back on while the Evil Queen smirked eagerly.
"Apple, it's just us." Crow said.
"It's our destiny then again it was Raven's and my destiny but still doesn't this feel right?" Apple asked with a smile.
Crow didn't look happy at all with Apple who he was in love with. The referee soon blew his whistle and the disc shot out of the ground just as Crow caught it.
"Be careful up there, Crow." Raven whispered.
"Right?" Crow asked Apple as they flew around and played. "Uh, mine and Raven's mom is free, and Darling is hurt, Apple." he then reminded her.
"I know," Apple nodded. "It wasn't supposed to happen, for real."
Crow simply had Midnight go around Apple so they could get to their goal while Apple went after him and everyone cheered wondering who would get the next point.
"Don't you want vengeance? Doesn't your heart desire victory over me? Aren't you angry?" Apple asked him once she was side by side to him.
"Am I angry? Yeah, I am angry, Apple!" Crow narrowed his eyes. "I bet Raven is too!"
"Good. Both of you can follow your destiny!" Apple smiled.
Crow soon flew off with Midnight before making his dragon stop while in mid-flight so that he could talk with Apple, tightening his grip around Midnight's reins. "I am angry that you don't listen. I'm angry that you say you're my friend, but are so selfish!" he then scolded her. "It's all about what you want! What kind of friend refuses to listen?! After all I try and do for you because I-" he then stopped himself as he began to blush before he shook his head. "I just can't believe you, Apple!"
"I just want our happily ever after." Apple defended softly.
"Have it then, I'm not playing games anymore." Crow said before tossing the ball over to Apple as he took off on Midnight.
"At least my mom will be proud of me!" Apple retorted after she caught the disc.
"Apple, you hurt me worse than you could possibly even imagine." Crow whispered to himself as he took off on Midnight.
"Oh, man, that's gotta hurt." Atticus frowned.
"He must feel broken inside." Patch commented.
"No doubt." Atticus nodded in sad agreement for Crow.
"Crow, where are you going?!" Poppy soon called out as the boy stormed off with Midnight.
"No doubt away from here." Raven said.
Midnight soon roared in the distance after Crow took off with his dragon. Apple angrily charged back to the game, whooshing past Poppy and avoiding Holly's intercept. She then threw the puck and received 110 points, counting the jewels that Poppy flew through earlier. Though the crowd was happy for Apple, she felt the exact opposite. She wiped away her tears and flew to the Evil Queen.
"It won't work," Apple told the woman. "Raven or Crow won't turn evil."
"They don't have to. It is enough that others think she has. Now head back in, I've got this," The Evil Queen replied before casting a spell and began to get ready to send it over to her son's flying direction. "A smoldering fire, to a dragon flier, I summon forth uncontrollable fire!"
"NO!" Drell cried out before he went to use his own magic to counter against The Evil Queen's magic.
"Ah, ah, ah~..." Faybelle smirked as she flew over to him and blowing the powder at him.
"Oh, no..." Drell groaned.
Luckily for the Evil Queen, her spell soon reached Midnight after Drell was done with next. Midnight soon went out of control and began to blow fire everywhere.
"Whoa! Hey! Easy, Midnight!" Crow warned. "I thought I raised you better than that!"
"Uh-oh. This is bad." Raven said before getting up and getting on Nevermore once her dragon was big again.
"Go, go help your brother." Atticus told Raven.
Raven nodded as she soon took off with Nevermore.
"Look! It's Crow burning down the school!" Faybelle called out to the others as the mishap was being recorded.
The crowd began to gasp out of shock as Crow and Midnight caused a lot of chaos, though unintentionally of course.
"And look there's Raven possibly there to help him cause more damage!" Faybelle called out as she pointed to Raven and Nevermore going over to Crow and Midnight.
"Watch out!" Crow told the people as he tried to keep control of Midnight who was burning everything.
Nevermore pouted in concern for Midnight as they flew together.
"Crow, Midnight's probably scared," Raven advised her brother. "Maybe you should try soothing him."
"But he's never been scared before." Crow said before starting to soothe his dragon.
"There's always a first time for everything." Raven said softly.
"You're right." Crow nodded in agreement as he tried to calm down Midnight as best as possible.
"Oh, you poor thing," Raven cooed to her brother's dragon, helping him out a little. "Come on, we need to get out of here. Let's go!"
Midnight soon decided to go with Crow to follow after Raven and Nevermore as they flew off.
"You!" Snow White glared as she stormed over to The Evil Queen. "Up to your wicked ways again!"
"Oh, what are you talking about? It wasn't her fault her own son's dragon started the fire." Sombra smirked at Snow White.
"Excuse me?" Snow White glared.
"I think you know what I'm talking about, Miss Fairest in the Land." Sombra kept his smirk.
"He's right you know," The Evil Queen added. "Crow is on your team, Snowy~"
"This ends now," Snow White glared before bringing out what she thought was the booking glass as held it in front of her. "Capture the Evil Queen and King Sombra!" Unfortunately for her, it was an ordinary mirror and where it didn't grant her request.
"Oh, dear, that was a bit of a letdown." Sombra smirked.
"Looking for this?" The Evil Queen asked smugly as she showed the other mirror and soon flicked it before it shattered and she dropped it to the ground before walking all over it.
"Hey, I have one of those mirrors too!" Daring spoke up suddenly. "If it's good enough for the queen, then it's certainly good enough to capture Daring Charming's-"
"Daring Charming captured." The booking glass spoke before suddenly sending him away like Patch had done with Cherry.
"I was right, this isn't one of Daring's mirror's; I have to find the others and tell them." Patch said before picking up the booking glass since he didn't know what it was, but understood whenever someone said capture it would capture whatever it was.
Meanwhile in the Mirror Realm...
"I swear, when I see that dog, I'm gonna go back in time and sell him straight to Cruella and then I'm going to-" Cherry narrowed her eyes before she grunted as someone fell right on top of her. "Oof... Ow..." she then groaned in pain. "Why does this stuff always gotta happen to me?"
"Oh, it's you..." Daring said as he looked down at her before he stood up and actually helped her up. "Weird Goth Girl, where are we?"
"I have a name," Cherry rolled her eyes. "But anyway, this is what I'm calling 'The Mirror Realm'."
"Cool... A world of mirrors." Daring smiled.
"I wouldn't start thinking it's cool." Cherry told him.
"Hey! Why can't I see myself?" Daring soon asked as he tried to look in the mirrors. "I'm on the flip side of the mirrors?"
"Yes." Cherry nodded simply.
"NOOOOOO!" Daring soon cried out before he soon saw something else that caught his interest rather quickly. "Ooh, my cotton candy!"
"Patch, get me out of here!" Cherry soon called out in mild frustration.
"The Games, at last, are over." The Evil Queen smirked.
"Take her." Sombra ordered the Grimms brothers while pointing to Snow White.
The Grimm brothers soon approached Snow White, surrounding her and grabbing her like zombie slaves. Snow White backed away in horror as she stepped back and her dwarf bodyguards tried to protect her, but they would be no match up against the Grimm brothers.
Meanwhile, just outside of the Dragon Games arena...
"They did it..." Crow said as he and Raven sat on a cliff together with tiny Nevermore and Midnight. "They took control of the entire school."
"What's next?" Raven frowned as she pet Nevermore who began to whimper sadly and scaredly.
"I'm not sure." Crow frowned as he pet Midnight.
The students were still screaming in fear at what had happened.
"Book End, breaking news. Blondie Lockes reporting live at what's left of the new dragon center," Blondie began to report her news broadcast to the school as Melody took out her tablet and took some pictures. "Ever After: a devastating blaze! Headmaster Grimm just handed the Evil Queen the keys to the school."
Headmaster Grimm was shown to be waving as he stood beside the Evil Queen.
"She vows to catch whoever started the fire, even if that's her own children, Raven and Crow," Blondie continued. "The question remains: will this new headmistress restore order to Ever After High, her being the Evil Queen and all? Also, it might look like she might let King Sombra be her new partner. Let's go live for her statement."
"Students, don't get overhexcited. I am but a temporary substitute," The Evil Queen smirked at the scared teenagers. "Milton Grimm will resume leadership as headmaster, as soon as this crisis is over."
Headmaster Grimm soon let out a croak.
"He has a frog in his throat." King Sombra covered up.
"Indeed." The Evil Queen nodded.
"I have a bad feeling about this." Darling said from the bleachers.
Patch was seen running around looking for one of his friends to show the booking glass to them.
"I will personally see to it that the fire damage is repaired spelltacularly quick!" The Evil Queen soon announced as she waved her hand with some magic.
The arena tower's fires soon were extinguished along with everywhere else in sight.
"See? Trust Headmistress Queenie and Headmaster Sombra," Sombra smirked at the students. "Everything's under control. Citizens, students, as you were! Nothing to see here."
Patch looked around as he kept on going until he would find someone.
"This isn't happening." Mo sighed as she rubbed her head, looking a bit exasperated.
"Patch, what's that you got in your mouth?" Darling asked as she saw Patch with a certain item.
Patch soon gave the Booking Glass to Darling.
"Hmm... Daring forgot his stuff," Darling remarked as she saw what Patch had. "That's odd. He never goes anywhere without a mirror. " she then put the booking glass away in her bag.
Patch simply nodded at her.
"Good boy though." Darling smiled as she petted Patch for his help.
Patch smiled back, happy to help.
"This is just so crazy." Mo said.
"Oh, Mo..." Atticus frowned softly.
"I'm not sure if I can take much more of this," Mo sighed. "Fairy Tales used to be so simple until we came to Ever After High."
"Hey, now, there's no need to worry about anything," Sombra smirked as he stood up right behind them and pulled them into a hug with him. "Headmaster Sombra and Headmistress Evil Queen are here~"
"That's what worries me." Mo snarked.
"Wow, Mo, that was pretty snarky." Atticus commented.
"Yeah, I know," Mo chuckled. "I just thought I'd say something snarky since Cherry isn't here."
"Yeah, where is she?" Atticus asked.
"...I dunno," Mo replied. "Sombra...?"
"Oh, she probably just stepped to visit the little girl's room," Sombra covered up innocently. "I wouldn't worry about her too much~"
In the Mirror Realm...
"Let me out of here!" Daring cried out as his hair was all messed up and he was currently disheveled.
"And people say I'm a bit of a drama queen." Cherry muttered as she began to meditate and tried to keep calm and collected unlike Daring who was close to giving himself a nervous breakdown.
Meanwhile in the dragon stable...
Raven was seen sweeping the floor with Crow's help while their dragons sat on a pile of hay. Nevermore whimpered while Midnight attempted to do his best to comfort the female dragon.
"It's okay, you guys, Midnight was just under one of Mom's spells," Crow told the dragons softly. "We know Midnight didn't start the fire."
"You're just another victim of Mom's magic." Raven added as she nodded in agreement.
"They're saying you set the fire, on purpose." Apple said as she soon came in to meet the siblings up close.
"Wha-I didn't do it on purpose! My dragon got spontaneous fire hiccups!" Crow glared before groaning and face-palming. "This has Evil Queen written all over it!"
"Well, don't worry, your mom has promised to restore order," Apple soon reassured. "And she's so powerful, I know she can!"
"Oh, come on! Do you really believe she would?" Crow asked her. "I mean, really? Really?"
Apple looked surprised by how Crow was acting before he turned away from the girl he was in love with. Raven and Crow began to start sweeping the floor again.
"You two should give your mom another chance you're all about changing your story Raven and I'm sure you're doing the same thing Crow. Your-Your mom broke out of that mirror prison and literally walked across glass just to be with the two of you!" Apple told them.
"Wait, how could you know that?" Crow asked Apple.
"Yeah..." Raven added, sounding slightly suspicious.
Apple suddenly became nervous and conscious of the situation, so she then decided to be quiet.
"It was you?" Raven asked sharply. "You released our mother?"
"Sh-She pr-promised me my happily ever after, and not just for me, for you too!" Apple defended with a nervous smile. "For all of us! You gotta admit, she has been a great dragon coach; she's fixed the fire damage... She's changed, you guys!"
"No, Apple, you've changed," Raven glared as she pointed in accusatory. "We are so not on the same page anymore. In fact, I don't even think we're in the same fairy tale. I hope you find your happily ever after, Apple, I really do, but first, you better find a new roommate."
"This is not the Apple White I fell in love-" Crow began before his eyes widened and he stopped himself as he went to storm off with Raven. "...This is not the Apple White I thought was my sister's best friend forever after!"
Spyro came out of the corner of the dragon stable as he was hearing every single word and did not like what he's heard already.
"But, we were supposed to be friends forever after!" Apple defended to Raven.
"That's not how the story goes, Apple," Raven shook her head before she began to leave. "Not this chapter, anyway. You can't be on both sides. Good or evil. Pick one."
"Crow... Talk to her for me," Apple requested. "She'll listen to you if she won't listen to anyone else."
"...I'm sorry, Apple," Crow said darkly as he bowed his head. "But you've made us do this." he then added before he took off after Raven.
Apple pouted as she soon sat on a pile of hay and pulled out her MirrorPhone, then began to dial a certain number.
"Are you calling your mom?" Spyro asked her softly.
"Yeah." Apple nodded.
Unfortunately, Snow White's phone did vibrate showing Apple was calling, but the black-haired woman was trapped and couldn't answer it. "Let me free!" Snow White cried out as she struggled to get free and she knew that Apple was trying to call her, but she couldn't do anything about it. "Let me speak to my daughter!"
"You've said plenty, Snowball." The Evil Queen mocked.
"The magical binding is a bit overkill, even for you." Snow White retorted.
"Would you be more comfortable in mirror prison, Your Majesty?" The Evil Queen smirked before gesturing to some jars where the former staff was as they had changed into animals such as the Grimm brothers being a frog and a lizard due to the dark magic. "Or perhaps you'd rather join your beloved school staff in here?"
"Return us to our human forms at once." Gilds Grimm told The Evil Queen.
"You've no right to hold us here and take over our school!" Milton added as he stood up. "I won't stand for it."
"I can see you're 'hopping mad', Milton, but this is my school now." The Evil Queen mocked.
"They were right," Snow White glowered from her prison. "I was a fool to give you a second chance."
"Oh, I know your game. Bringing back the dragon center?" The Evil Queen smirked. "You were going to wait 'til I made the slightest misstep, then lock me up again to remind everyone that you're such a perfect queen. Well, you'll have to think quick, Slow White, because I have the upper hand now." she then retorted.
"Release me!" Snow White demanded. "My subjects won't rest until they find their true queen."
"Oh, not if they don't know," Sombra smirked as walked into the room with a white snake. "Will this one do, Evil Queen?"
"Oh, that's perfect, King Sombra," The Evil Queen smirked back. "Let me have that now, won't you?"
Sombra nodded as he soon let the Evil Queen take the white snake.
"Sombra has a point about the others not knowing, you know~" The Evil Queen smirked darkly at Snow White before using her magic to turn the other woman into a snake and sent her right into a jar like the Grimm brothers.
"You'll never get away with thissssss!" Snow White hissed at Sombra and the Evil Queen.
"Aw... We already have." Sombra smirked.
"I couldn't agree more." The Evil Queen smirked.
The two soon laughed together as Snow White glowered at them.
Meanwhile, Atticus and Mo wondered what to do next and soon came inside the school as Raven and Crow were by themselves in the hallways.
"Well, if it isn't the little fire starters?" One girl mocked as she walked by the siblings with a friend of hers.
"Just like their mother!" The other girl added.
"But we didn't! Ugh!" Crow groaned.
Darling soon walked over to Crow and Raven.
"Hey, Darling, let's say a... Particular student needed to hide out for a while," Raven said innocently to the girl. "Where would she go?"
"If that particular student wanted to find a place where, let's say, the Evil Queen couldn't reach them?" Darling replied. "I know a perfect place in the Enchanted Forest. We are talking about you and maybe your brother too, right?"
"Yes." Crow and Raven nodded.
"I'll take you there on one condition: you count me in on whatever you're up to." Darling then said.
"Deal meet us in the stable room tomorrow morning." Raven told Darling.
"Come alone." Crow added.
Raven and Crow both soon walked off on their own.
Once they had dispersed, Faybelle suddenly appeared with a mischievous smirk. "So Raven and Crow are trying to go rogue?" she asked herself from inside her locker before gasping. "If I catch them trying to bail, the Evil Queen will have to take me seriously as a future villain!"
That night, the adventure group, minus Cherry, met up in their temporary dorm room for the evening as it was getting late.
"Well, it's getting late," Mo said. "We should probably get some sleep until the next event of the Dragon Games comes to rise."
"Yeah, guess so." Atticus said.
"But with the Evil Queen in charge, she's up to something." Patch said.
"Especially with King Sombra there beside her," Atticus nodded. "Not to mention Cherry's just suddenly disappeared. It's not like her to run away like that."
"Yeah, she has been gone for a long time." Mo said.
"Should we go and see if the others have seen Cherry?" Atticus asked.
"I wouldn't be able to sleep if I knew something bad was happening to her." Mo replied.
"Me neither," Atticus admitted with a small, tearful smile. "Come on then."
Mo opened the door and looked around, trying to be a little quiet since it was almost time for bed in Ever After High as they began to explore the boarding school to find their missing friend.
'Where could she be?' Atticus thought to himself.
'I hope she's alright.' Mo thought to herself.
Patch was shown to be in the dragon stables to help keep Spyro a little bit of company as Atticus and Mo explored the school, but they didn't seem to be able to find Cherry anywhere.
"Thanks for keeping me company, Patch." Spyro said.
"No problem, Spyro." Patch smiled.
Nevermore and Midnight soon went to get some sleep with the other dragons.
"Aw, I don't wanna go to bed." Spyro pouted.
"Yeah, I know how that feels," Patch smirked. "But we don't have to go to sleep right away if you don't wanna."
"Thanks, Patch; after what's happened, I don't know if I could sleep." Spyro said.
"Yeah, I don't blame you," Patch frowned. "It's crazy out there, especially with the Evil Queen and Sombra."
"I'm just concerned about what that means for the kids in this school," Spyro said. "I don't know much about the Evil Queen, but she seems horrible."
"Well, you should know, she's a sworn enemy to Snow White and the seven dwarves," Patch replied. "At least from a long time ago before Ever After High became a school as far as my knowledge of fairy tales goes."
"Whoa." Spyro said.
"Yeah... Whoa." Patch nodded at him.
"I wonder what will happen next?" Spyro said.
"I'd try not to worry about it," Patch replied. "Even if things get worse before they get better."
Spyro frowned softly.
"Sorry..." Patch said. "Didn't mean to make it worse on you like that."
"I guess I just didn't expect for this to happen," Spyro sighed. "I didn't hope for it to happen either."
"Well, I'm sure things will start getting better." Patch smiled.
"I hope so," Spyro sighed as he watched Midnight and Nevermore. "I'm especially worried for my new friends."
"That's good, you're thinking about them," Patch smiled. "That's makes you a good friend, even if we don't have a solution yet."
"Well, I have been taught by Dad on how to be a good friend." Spyro smiled back.
Patch chuckled a little about how Spyro called Atticus "his dad", though speaking of which... "Whoa... Speak of the devil." he then said before turning his head.
"Oh, Patch," Mo smiled. "You're keeping Spyro company. That's so adorable and sweet."
Patch smiled back, a bit sheepishly.
"You haven't happened to have seen Cherry, have you?" Atticus asked his dog once he and Mo came into the dragon stables.
"No." Patch shook his head.
"We haven't seen her since the Dragon Games." Spyro told Atticus.
"This is bad," Atticus sighed. "I'll have to borrow a locator spell tomorrow or something."
"Right, now we better get some sleep." Mo yawned.
"Maybe we should sleep here tonight." Patch said.
"Uh, all of us? In the dragon stables?" Mo asked.
"You used to sleep in a junkyard." Patch reminded.
"...That was different." Mo retorted with a slight pout.
"It's really comfortable in here." Spyro smiled.
"Well, all right, but I better get a couple of pillows," Atticus replied. "Would you like the company?"
"Please, Dad." Spyro nodded.
"All right, I'll get us pillows and blankets." Atticus smiled before magicking those up for him and Mo so that they would be more comfortable.
"I am a little sleepy now that you mention it." Mo said before she suddenly yawned.
"Tonight is going to be nice and quiet." Patch smiled as he started to look tired.
Spyro smiled at the company before he yawned, looking sleepy.
"Looks like it, even if the Evil Queen and Uncle Sombra are ruining everything," Atticus said before he lay down next to Mo as they went to get some sleep. "Night, gang."
"Good night." Everyone else said before they all drifted off to sleep for the night.
And where it seemed like everyone was going to get plenty of sleep that night, but there would be a whole lot more coming very soon in the next morning.
