Chapter 16: Odaiba under Siege Part 2
Everybody left the beach and was walking through the city.
Agumon: It's great that we get to see another world.
Sora: I guess you don't get out much, huh?
Patamon: We Digimon never left the Digital World before.
Gabumon: Sadly, after all this, we'll all have to return home.
Gomamon: We're lucky to see this world because of Myotismon.
Izzy: How about this? After we defeat Myotismon, we'll let you go.
Joe: Yeah. You'll all be free. You can go wherever you want.
Tentomon: You'd all do that for us?
Tai: Sure, but only after we defeat Myotismon.
The Digimon hugs their human partners and cheers.
Agumon: Oh, thank you, Tai! You are a true friend!
While the gang was talking, a bunch of Heartless came and attack, including a new type called a Fat Bandit. They look like Bandits, except much rounder. The Fat Bandits breathed fire on our heroes, but they dodged and attacked them from behind. After dealing with all the Heartless, they continued walking through Odaiba. Sora told the Digidestined and their Digimon the whole story that Myotismon is out to find Kari and the Keyhole.
Tai: So, Myotismon is not only after Kari, but this "Keyhole" as well?
Sora: Yes, and I believe he is working for someone named Ganondorf.
Patamon: A Keyhole? I could have sworn I heard that somewhere before...
Plucky: Really? Where?
Patamon: Now where was it? It's only been about 200 years...
Sora: Then we gotta hurry! We can't let Myotismon find the Keyhole!
The group proceeds to the Fuji TV Station.
Sora: That's it?
Dizzy: Nobody here. Maybe person took nap.
?: Nobody here but us.
Everyone turns to see Myotismon and Demidevimon holding the Digidestined girls. Their Digimon partners are down on the ground.
Tai: MYOTISMON! What have you done to their Digimon?
Myotismon: Sorry. Setting your sights a little high, aren't you? Besides, I've dealt with their little Digimon, especially that traitor, Gatomon.
Sora: Gatomon used to work for you?
Myotismon: She used to be my second-in-command until that other traitor Wizardmon opened her eyes and she rebelled.
Wizardmon: How can I be a traitor when I was never at your side?
T.K.: KARI!
Kari: T.K., Tai, I'm sorry. I thought I could take him on my own, but he's way too strong.
Myotismon looks down at Kari.
Myotismon: I commend you on hiding from me for quite a while.
He then turns to the boys.
Myotismon: But I won't allow you boys to trouble her anymore.
Agumon: Digimon! ATTACK!
Agumon and the other Digimon charges at Myotismon, but he uses Crimson Lightning to send a whip of red energy and hits them all. Tai and the Digidestined boys ran up to their Digimon.
Tai: Agumon! Are you OK, little buddy?
Agumon: I'm fine, but he won't be!
Myotismon: I won't be messing with you children anymore. I'll be taking the Eighth Child and Gatomon with me. Demidevimon, take the Crest of Light from Wizardmon!
Demidevimon: Right away, boss!
He flew to Wizardmon and grabs the Crest of Light from him.
Wizardmon: Hey, give that back!
Myotismon: I'll be using that Crest to find the Keyhole. I bid you all farewell, Digidestined. MEGASEADRAMON!
He calls upon a giant red sea serpent wearing a yellow helmet. Myotismon and Demidevimon flew off with Kari, Gatomon, and the Crest of Light. The Girl Sora and Mimi ran towards the boys, but Megaseadramon uses it's tail to grab them. Mimi and Palmon got out safe, but the Girl Sora and Biyomon got caught by Megaseadramon.
Tai: SORA!
Agumon: BIYOMON!
Girl Sora: TAI! HELP ME!
Biyomon: AGUMON!
Tai's device suddenly glows and Agumon starts glowing too.
Agumon: Agumon Digivolve to...GREYMON!
Agumon transforms into an orange ceratosaurus with a brown skull on his head. Greymon uses Nova Blast to shoot a giant fireball from his mouth. It hits Megaseadramon on the face and it released the Girl Sora and Biyomon. The Girl Sora ran up to Tai and hugs him.
Girl Sora: Oh, Tai! Thank you for rescuing me!
Tai: It's OK, Sora. We need to defeat that thing! Everyone!
All Digidestined: Right!
All the Digidestined's devices glowed too. Their Digimon glows as well.
Gabumon: Gabumon Digivolve to...GARURUMON!
Gabumon transforms into a light blue wolf.
Biyomon: Biyomon Digivolve to...BIRDRAMON!
Biyomon transforms into an orange firebird.
Palmon: Palmon Digivolve to...TOGEMON!
Palmon transforms into a green cactus with red boxing gloves.
Tentomon: Tentomon Digivolve to...KABUTERIMON!
Tentomon transforms into a blue rhino beetle.
Gomamon: Gomamon Digivolve to...IKKAKUMON!
Gomamon transforms into a white walrus with feet.
Sora: Why isn't Patamon evolving?
T.K.: He needs to save his energy for Myotismon. His Digivolution is strong against Myotismon.
All the Digimon attacks Megaseadramon. Garurumon uses Howling Blaster to shoot an ice beam from his mouth. Birdramon uses Meteor Wing to shoot fireballs from her wings. Togemon uses Needle Spray to shoot needles from her whole body. Kabuterimon uses Electro Shocker to charge up electricity from his hands and fires an electric ball. Ikkakumon uses Harpoon Torpedo to shoot his horn missiles. All of the attacks hit Megaseadramon.
Sora: Alright! They did it!
When the smoke clears, Megaseadramon is still standing.
Sora: It didn't work?
Megaseadramon retaliates with Thunder Javelin, firing lightning from it's horn, and hitting all the Digimon. The Digidestined ran to their Digimon.
Tai: Greymon! Are you OK?
Greymon: I'm fine. We need to Digivolve even further!
Tai: You got it! Everybody!
All Digidestined: Right!
All the Digidestined's Crests started to glow as well as their Digimon.
Greymon: Greymon Digivolve to...METALGREYMON!
Greymon grew even bigger and has wings, metal on his left arm and chest, and a metal helmet.
Garurumon: Garurumon Digivolve to...WEREGARURUMON!
Garurumon became an anthropomorphic werewolf with blue jeans and a blue cloth on his left arm.
Birdramon: Birdramon Digivolve to...GARUDAMON!
Birdramon grew bigger and transforms into a humanoid red eagle with a mask on her face.
Togemon: Togemon Digivolve to...LILLYMON!
Togemon transforms into a pink flower fairy with wings.
Kabuterimon: Kabuterimon Digivolve to...MEGAKABUTERIMON!
Kabuterimon grew bigger and transforms into a red rhino beetle.
Ikkakumon: Ikkakumon Digivolve to...ZUDOMON!
Ikkakumon grew bigger and transforms into an orange anthropomorphic walrus with a green shell on his back and carrying a metal hammer.
Sora: Wow! They changed forms!
All the Digimon attack again. Metalgreymon uses his Giga Blaster to fire two missiles from his chest. Weregarurumon uses Wolf Claw to fire energy cutters from his claws. Garudamon uses Wing Blade to create a giant firebird. Lillymon uses Flower Cannon to fire a green energy ball from her flower-shaped cannon. Megakabuterimon uses Horn Buster to fire electricity from his horn. Zudomon uses Vulcan Hammer to slam his hammer on the ground and create a lightning bolt from it. All of the attacks hit Megaseadramon. Megaseadramon cried in pain as it dissolved into data. Everybody cheers as the Digimon returns back into their Rookie Forms.
Sora: They did it!
Tai: Way to go, everybody!
The Girl Sora then walks up to Tai.
Girl Sora: Here's a little something for rescuing me, Tai.
She gave Tai a kiss on the cheek which made him blush. Biyomon walks up to Agumon.
Biyomon: And here's something from me, Agumon.
She kissed Agumon on the cheek which made him blush too. Suddenly, everybody hears an evil laugh.
Myotismon HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Hear me, Digidestined! If you wanna see Kari and Gatomon again, You'll have to come to my castle!
Tai: Everybody! To the castle!
Everyone: Right!
Everybody ran all the way back to the beach area where there's a mountain with a castle on top of it.
Sora: Is that it?
Matt: That's Myotismon's Castle, but how did it get here in the Real World?
Joe: I don't know, but Myotismon must have teleported it.
T.K.: We've gotta hurry! Kari might be in there!
Everybody ran up the mountain to reach the castle gate.
Izzy: This must be the front gate.
Wizardmon: If Kari and Gatomon are in there, then so is Myotismon.
Sora: Let's go, guys!
Suddenly, two creatures came out from underground. One was a green ceratosaurus with two tusk-like horns on it's shoulders. Another was a giant green mantis with two sickle-like claws.
Mimi: What are they?
Patamon: They are Tuskmon and Snimon!
Tai: Let's get them, guys!
Sora: Hold it!
Gomamon: Why are you stopping us?
Sora: You guys need to save your energy for Myotismon. Me, Plucky, and Dizzy will take care of these two.
Tentomon: He's got a good point. We'll need all the power we need to fight Myotismon.
Sora: Ready, Plucky and Dizzy?
Plucky & Dizzy: Ready!
The Digidestined and their Digimon sit back while Sora and his friends take care of Tuskmon and Snimon. Sora uses the Rescue Gem to summon Team Go-Getters once again. The gang then huddles up to strategize.
Sora: Me, Plucky, and Cyndaquil will take care of Snimon. Dizzy, Chikorita, and Totodile will take care of Tuskmon. Think you guys can handle it?
Dizzy: Don't worry, Sora. Me and two Pokemon can take care of it.
Chikorita: Besides, we've faced far worse than those things before.
Totodile: Those two monsters look like nothing compared to what we fought.
Sora: Plucky, Cyndaquil, are you with me?
Plucky & Cyndaquil: Yes, Sora!
Sora: Then let's go, everybody!
Sora, Plucky, and Cyndaquil went after Snimon while Dizzy, Chikorita, and Totodile went after Tuskmon. Snimon uses Twin Sickles to fire twin energy cutters at Sora, Plucky, and Cyndaquil, but they easily dodged it's attack. Cyndaquil uses Flamethrower to knock Snimon down easily. Chikorita uses Razor Leaf on Tuskmon and Totodile uses Water Gun, knocking the dinosaur down easily.
Palmon: Wow! Those little guys are very powerful.
Gabumon: Yeah. We needed to Digivolve to fight stronger Digimon.
Dizzy proceeds to use his Spin Attack on Tuskmon, Chikorita uses Ancient Power, and Totodile uses Ice Beam. Their combined attacks simply destroyed Tuskmon. Cyndaquil uses Double Kick on Snimon, knocking it back down. Sora and Plucky uses Fire to finish off Snimon for good. Everybody cheers for Sora's victory.
Sora: Thanks, guys! You were all great!
Cyndaquil: It was no big deal.
Chikorita: Call us again when you need us.
The Go-Getters returned to their Rescue Gem.
Plucky: Now, we must rescue Kari and Gatomon!
Sora: Right! To the castle, everyone!
Everybody went inside the castle.
That's it for chapter 16. I'm sorry I couldn't get to do a Myotismon battle, but we'll get to that next time.
