Celebration
Palutena called everyone in to celebrate.
There was Skyworld Soup, Hades Cookies, veggies, and also a special drink that Palutena called the Victory Juice.
They talked, and then Dark Pit came up. "You two did well. And thank you for standing up to Peresa. She's feeling better now, and talking with Phosphora, but I don't know what would have happened if Hades let all those things out."
"Me neither," said Jack. "I'm glad we could help!"
Dark Pit picked up a glass, then poured some Victory Juice, then sipped it. "Hades has been defeated though! We won!"
Palutena was nearby, and she laughed before biting into a Hades Cookie. "Take that, Lord of the Underworld!" she cheered before biting into the cookie.
Everyone laughed.
Later, as Jack and Annie headed back to the tree house, Palutena accompanied them.
"I want to thank you for coming at the time of need," she said. "You are great allies, and we hope to see you again!"
Annie smiled. "Us too!"
Palutena smiled. "Bye!" she said. Then she headed inside.
Annie and Jack climbed up the tree house.
Jack picked up the Pennsylvania book, and flipped it to the Frog Creek woods. "I wish we could go there!" he said.
The wind started to blow
The treehouse started to spin
It spun faster and faster.
Then everything was still.
Absolutely still.
When they arrived back in Frog Creek woods, they could hear their mom calling them. "Jack, Annie!"
Annie climbed down the tree house. "What an adventure!"
Jack grinned. "So adventurous! And Dark Pit was kinder than I expected."
"Probably because he wanted to defeat Hades! Mmmm, that Victory Punch was good."
Jack laughed. "Let's head back!"
And they ran in the beautiful sunlight.
