Chapter 17: Odaiba under Siege Part 3
Before arriving in Myotismon's Castle, Sora and the others took a break in front of the castle. While the Digidestined discussed their plans, Sora is reading a fortune cookie.
Sora: Let's see here.
At the beginning of this chapter, you'd be reading this fortune.
Dizzy: Well, we in beginning of chapter.
Plucky: So why are we reading fortune cookies at the beginning?
Sora: Well, we like to put in little gags before we start the chapter.
He reads the fortune cookie again.
You'll give a great big kiss to Dizzy Devil.
Sora and Dizzy freaks out while Plucky bursts out laughing.
Sora: PLUCKY! This is one of the bloopers!
Plucky: Sorry, I messed up a little. I'll rewind to the actual story.
He rewinds back a little and got to the part where Sora was about to finish reading the fortune.
You'll give a great big kiss to Ash Ketchum.
Plucky bursts out laughing again. Sora gave him an angry look.
Sora: PLUCKY! Do me, Dizzy, and Ash look gay to you?
Plucky: Sorry, kid. But I have to have my little fun too.
He continues laughing. Suddenly, Sora shoots a Fire spell at him, making his beak fall apart. This time, Plucky stops laughing while Sora and Dizzy laughs.
Plucky's beak: Back to the story.
Sora: It better be! And It better not say anything about me kissing Tai!
Plucky's beak: It won't, because he already has a girlfriend who shares the same name as you.
Sora then cast Blizzard on Plucky, freezing him in an ice cube. Sora and Dizzy bursts out laughing again.
Dizzy: Now back to story for real!
Real Chapter 17: Odaiba under Siege Part 3
Before arriving in Myotismon's Castle, Sora and the others took a break in front of the castle. While the Digidestined discussed their plans, Sora is reading a fortune cookie.
Sora: Let's see here.
Your opponent may be strong, but you will succeed, because you have the power of friendship.
T.K.: Hey, guys. Are you reading from fortune cookies?
Sora got surprised and hid his fortune.
Sora: Nope! It's nothing!
T.K.: So what are you doing Sora?
Sora: I'm out to search for the Keyhole of this world. What about you, T.K.?
T.K.: Well, there's this girl I like.
Sora: Really? Who is she?
T.K.: Come a little closer and I'll tell you.
Sora came a little closer to T.K. who whispers in his ears.
Sora: WHAT?
T.K.: Shh. Not so loud.
Sora: Sorry. So you really like Kari?
T.K.: Yes, but I'm pretty sure her older brother Tai wouldn't let me go out with her. Even if he does, there's something special about her and I'm just an ordinary kid. She could never fall for a boy like me.
Tai walks over to the group.
Tai: Well, break times over! Time to move out, troops!
Sora, Plucky, & Dizzy: Right!
The gang stood up and has entered Myotismon's Castle. It is a dark castle filled with evil looking statues.
Plucky: This place looks scarier than my Uncle Mortimer's mansion.
Mimi: I would not wanna live here either.
T.K.: We must keep moving! Kari and Gatomon must be around here somewhere!
The gang goes through the hallways of the castle, fighting Heartless along the way. They came across two chests. One chest contains five Pikmin, another contains a torn page for Mumbo's book. They eventually came to what looks like a dead end with a giant hole.
Joe: Oh great. We've come across a dead end.
Matt: Looks like we need to turn back.
When everybody was about to turn back, Patamon flew up to a statue carrying a gem.
T.K.: Patamon! What are you doing?
Patamon touches the gemstone when suddenly, a bunch of platforms rise up from the hole.
Izzy: Amazing. It appears that gem was actually a puzzle all along.
Sora: Nice going, little guy. Now we can proceed.
The gang proceeds forward, jumping on the platforms, and touching gems to activate more platforms. Meanwhile, in the big room, Myotismon and Demidevimon are with the unconscious Kari and Gatomon. In the room was a giant door and a pedestal in front of it.
Myotismon: Gatomon, you may have betrayed me before, but now it's time that you redeem yourself by showing me the Keyhole.
Gatomon: Never! I would show you nothing!
Myotismon: Very well. If you don't tell me where it is, I will kill Kari.
He puts his hand down towards Kari and charges up dark energy.
Gatomon: NO! KARI! I will do whatever you say!
Myotismon: If you value her life, you will show me the Keyhole.
Gatomon: Fine, you win.
Myotismon then stops charging his energy. Gatomon pulls up the Crest of Light.
Gatomon: Crest of Light, show me the Keyhole.
The Crest fires a beam towards the door, revealing a Keyhole in front of it. Myotismon laughs evilly, knowing that his plans are moving forward.
Myotismon: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I knew you would do as I told you! I wasn't gonna kill Kari, I was just testing your faith. Soon this world will be mine.
He continues laughing evilly. Gatomon just glares at him. Meanwhile, back with our heroes, everybody was waiting in front of the stairs that leads to the lower floor.
Plucky: Enough with the stalling already! I want some action!
Tentomon: Look's like someone's hyped up.
Plucky: I didn't ask for your opinion, Tentomon.
Sora: Plucky, do you wanna go in or not?
Plucky: By myself?
Wizardmon: He meant with the rest of us.
Agumon: I bet he has other ideas.
Gomamon: Like what? Getting his butt kicked?
Dizzy laughs while Plucky fumes with anger.
Dizzy: Hahahahaha! Good one, Gomamon.
Plucky: THAT'S NOT FUNNY!
Tai: Let's save the arguing for later. We got a boss to defeat. On the count of 3, we run in and attack. Ready? 1...2...3!
Everybody charges downstairs screaming.
Sora: What the...?
To everyone's surprise, they found a room full of treasure.
Girl Sora: That's it? A treasure room?
Izzy: Maybe it's a trap.
Plucky and Dizzy looks at all the gold and jewelry with sparkles in their eyes.
Plucky: Look at all the gold and jewelry!
Dizzy: We gonna be rich!
Sora: Plucky! Dizzy! NO!
But Plucky and Dizzy didn't listen to Sora and ran towards the end of the room. Plucky accidentally touches a gem which opens a door to another room.
Sora: I took back what I said earlier. Plucky, you're a genius!
T.K.: Now let's go save Kari!
Everybody ran towards the end of the room. Sora grabs Plucky and Dizzy along the way.
Plucky: Let me go!
Sora: Sorry, boss first, wealth later.
Dizzy: But we gonna be rich!
Sora follows the Digidestined to another room with Plucky and Dizzy in his arms. Back inside the big room, Ganondorf arrives to see Kari.
Ganondorf: You've done well, Myotismon. You found the Keyhole and got the Princess. I must say I'm impressed.
Myotismon: What could I say? I'm a natural at evil plans.
Ganondorf: Now that we found the Keyhole of this world, that white cat means nothing to me. No one can interfere with my plans. Hahahahahahahahahaha!
Myotismon: Actually, there is one problem. That boy with the Keyblade is here too.
Ganondorf: WHAT? That boy again?
Myotismon: He's more persistent than I expected.
Ganondorf: Darn that meddling brat! And I thought Link was bad enough! That twerp and his friends will try to interfere with my plans!
Myotismon: Why not explain the situation to that boy Riku?
Ganondorf: Why must I ask, Myotismon?
Myotismon: Because if we do, it could prove useful to our...
Suddenly, the villains could hear the sounds of footsteps and they turned to see Sora, Tai, and the rest of the gang.
Ganondorf: Great! Just what I needed.
Sora: Wait a second. Are you Ganondorf?
Ganondorf: Well, well, well, if it isn't Sora and his friends. It's an honor to finally meet you. And yes, I am Ganondorf, at your service.
Plucky: Where's Buster, warlock?
Ganondorf: Sorry, I don't have him. But I can't fight you right now. Myotismon will take care of you.
He disappears, leaving the Digidestined baffled.
Tai: Who was that?
Plucky: You don't wanna know.
T.K.: Myotismon, let Kari go!
Myotismon: What do you expect me to say? Sure, why not? You can have Gatomon back, but Kari is still needed. You see, she's the Eighth Child.
Plucky:(Sarcasm)Thanks for letting us know, Captain Obvious.
Myotismon: SILENCE! She's more than the Eighth Child. She's one of the Seven Princesses who holds the key to opening the door.
Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy gasps upon hearing that, remembering what Leon told them.
Dizzy: What door?
Myotismon: There's no point in telling you, because you won't live to see what lies beyond it.
Kari suddenly wakes up and Gatomon hugs her.
Gatomon: Kari, you're OK!
Kari: Where am I?
Gatomon: This is Myotismon's Castle.
Tai: Kari, CATCH!
Tai threw a device at Kari and she got it, but then Demidevimon swoops in and grabs it from her hand.
Demidevimon: There's no way you'll be able to Digivolve without this thing!
Myotismon: I'm glad you got up, child. Now you can see the end of the Digidestined.
Myotismon waves his hand to seal the entrance, then he floats up in the air.
Sora: We gotta stop Myotismon!
Izzy: He's an Ultimate Level Digimon! We need to Digivolve to Ultimate!
Agumon: Digimon! DIGIVOLVE!
All the Digidestined's devices and Crests glowed. The Digimon went straight to their Ultimate Levels.
Agumon: Agumon Warp Digivolve to...METALGREYMON!
Gabumon: Gabumon Warp Digivolve to...WEREGARURUMON!
Biyomon: Biyomon Warp Digivolve to...GARUDAMON!
Palmon: Palmon Warp Digivolve to...LILLYMON!
Tentomon: Tentomon Warp Digivolve to...MEGAKABUTERIMON!
Gomamon: Gomamon Warp Digivolve to...ZUDOMON!
All the Digimon attacked Myotismon. Metalgreymon uses Giga Blaster, Weregarurumon uses Wolf Claw, Garudamon uses Wing Blade, Lillymon uses Flower Cannon, Megakabuterimon uses Horn Buster, and Zudomon uses Vulcan Hammer. But Myotismon waves his hand and disintegrates all the Digimon's attacks.
Myotismon: FOOLS! Do you realize that I am invincible?
T.K.: There's only one option left. Let's go Patamon!
Patamon: RIGHT!
T.K.'s device starts to glow and Patamon is glowing as well.
Patamon: Patamon Digivolve to...ANGEMON!
Patamon has transformed into an angel with long orange hair, wearing white clothing, a metal crusader helmet, six wings, and carrying a staff. Myotismon shields his eyes from the glow coming from Angemon.
Myotismon: Now what?
Angemon: HAND OF FATE!
Angemon released a light energy beam from his hand and it hits Myotismon, doing some serious damage to him.
Angemon: Have you had enough, or do you want some more?
Sora: Let's help out, guys!
Plucky & Dizzy: RIGHT!
Sora uses the Rescue Gem to release the Go-Getters yet again. Myotismon laughs upon seeing the three little Pokemon.
Myotismon: Hahahahaha! Do you think these little guys can do any harm?
Cyndaquil: Don't underestimate our cute looks! We may be small, but we're tougher than you think!
Cyndaquil uses Flamethrower, Chikorita uses Razor Leaf, and Totodile uses Water Gun. All of the attacks hit Myotismon, also doing some damage to him.
Myotismon: UGH! How could these little vermin be so powerful? Never mind! I'll just get rid of the Eighth Child and her pet right now!
Myotismon turns to Kari and Gatomon.
Myotismon: GRISLY WING!
He summons a bunch of bats heading towards Kari and Gatomon.
Tai: KARI!
Suddenly, Wizardmon ran up and protects Kari and Gatomon from the bats. Then he fell down.
Kari: WIZARDMON!
Kari and Gatomon ran up to Wizardmon.
Kari: Wizardmon, please don't go!
Wizardmon: Are you alright...Gatomon?
Gatomon has tears in her eyes.
Gatomon: You saved us. I'm sorry for getting you involved.
Wizardmon: Don't be sorry...I don't have any regrets...If I haven't met you...my life would have been meaningless...I'm glad you and I are friends.
Gatomon: Yes...Best friends forever.
Wizardmon: Thank you...for everything.
His eyes closed and he dies. Kari starts to form tears in her eyes
Kari: No...Wizardmon!
She then cries which caused her device to glow.
Demidevimon: AAAAAHHHHH! I CAN'T HOLD ON!
Demidevimon lets go of the device and Kari grabs it. Her Crest starts to glow as well, making Gatomon glow.
Gatomon: Gatomon Digivolve to...ANGEWOMON!
Gatomon has transformed into a female version of Angemon with long blonde hair, wearing a white bikini, a white glove on her left arm, a crusader helmet like Angemon, eight wings, and carrying a bow.
Angewomon: Myotismon, you've tried to destroy the Digidestined and tried to conquer the world! In doing so, you have ruined the lives of Digimon and humans alike! How do you justify yourself?
Myotismon: I don't need to explain myself to someone like you! It is my destiny to plunge this world into darkness and rule all worlds! And no angel or Keyblade wielder has the power to stop me!
Angemon: Myotismon, don't you have any regrets for the things you have done?
Myotismon just chuckles and floats up in the air.
Dizzy: What we do?
Sora: We'll take care of Myotismon!
Sora, Plucky, Dizzy, Angemon, and the Go-Getters ran after Myotismon. Myotismon uses Crimson Lightning and hits Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy, but missed Angemon and the Go-Getters. Angemon uses his Angel Rod to hit Myotismon, Cyndaquil uses Double Kick, Chikorita uses Ancient Power, and Totodile uses Ice Beam. All of the attacks landed and hurt Myotismon. He turns to the Pokemon.
Myotismon: I will not be defeated by Pokemon like you!
Myotismon uses Grisly Wing on the Go-Getters and did some damage to them. Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy stood up and attacks Myotismon. Sora uses Sonic Blade, Plucky uses Thunder, and Dizzy uses Spin Attack. All of the attacks landed and hurt Myotismon. He is barely holding on as he is panting heavily.
Myotismon: No...I will...not be...defeated...by a...Keyblade brat! NIGHTMARE-
Angewomon: HEAVEN'S CHARM!
Angewomon raised her hands together and creates a giant golden ring. The ring created rainbow-colored sparkles which paralyzed Myotismon.
Metalgreymon: My power is growing.
Garudamon: Everyone, give your power to Angewomon!
Metalgreymon uses Giga Blaster, Weregarurumon uses Wolf Claw, Garudamon uses Wing Blade, Lillymon uses Flower Cannon, Megakabuterimon uses Horn Buster, Zudomon uses Vulcan Hammer, Angemon uses Hand of Fate, Cyndaquil uses Flamethrower, Chikorita uses Razor Leaf, Totodile uses Water Gun, and Sora and Plucky uses Fire. All of their attacks hit the ring, charging up Angewomon's attack.
Angewomon: CELESTIAL ARROW!
She creates an arrow of light on her bow and released it on Myotismon, hitting him in the chest. He screams in pain as the light devours him. When the light dies down, he is nowhere to be seen.
Kari: Myotismon is gone.
Sora: We did it!
Suddenly, everyone could feel a loud shaking. The floor starts to crumble.
Girl Sora: Get outta the way, everyone!
Everybody ran away from the crumbling floor. Once the shaking stops, there was a giant hole which reveals a giant platform surrounded by a huge lake of lava. Down that hole, everyone can hear a laugh.
Joe: What was that?
Tai: I don't know, but we better investigate.
Sora, Plucky, Dizzy, Team Go-Getters, the Digidestined, and their Digimon jumps down the giant hole and lands on the platform.
