"And we'll need some dragon tears, a little fairy dust, my dark robe," The Evil Queen began to list as Atticus tried to occupy himself with some exercises while Sombra just watched. "And my other dark robe. Almost finished packing!"

Raven was shown to be looking out into the distance with a small sigh.

"Don't worry too much." Atticus whispered to her so that their evil guardians wouldn't suspect anything.

"Why do you keep doing that?" The Evil Queen asked Raven.

"Doing what?" Raven asked her mother.

"Staring ominously into the distance," The Evil Queen narrowed eyes suspiciously. "What are you looking for?"

"Nothing, I'm just really hexcited about being evil and conquering the world, and stuff..." Raven covered up, though obviously lying.

"Prove it," The Evil Queen challenged before summoning a portal on the wall to test her daughter. "You're on the path to become evil now, dear. Toss Snow White and the other teachers into the void." she then commanded.

"Raven, pleasssse!" Snow White cried out while hissing. "Help ussss!"

"Drell, is that you?" Atticus asked as he took a look at one jar that a familiar-looking rat was inside of.

"Atticus, please tell me this is all just part of a plan you have to save Ever After High," Drell squeaked to him. "You can't be stupid enough to surrunder to your Uncle Sombra."

"Go ahead, Raven. Throw Snow White and the others in," Sombra told the evil princess. "And as for you Atticus, why do you join her and throw Drell through the portal?" he then asked his nephew.

Atticus gulped a bit. "Throwing Drell?" he then asked.

"Yes... He deserves it," Sombra smirked. "After all, he's very unfit to be Head of the Witch's Council."

"And I should send you to the nearest glue factory." Drell narrowed his eyes at the evil unicorn.

"I might have a plan if you think you can channel my magic with your magic." Raven whispered to Atticus in secret.

"My magic is at your disposal." Atticus whispered back in secret.

Raven nodded as they both channeled their magic together. The two soon tried to shoot a magical blast right at their mother and uncle, only for the magic to be deflected easily.

"Well, I'm impressed that you two channeled your magic like that, but you were so close, but alas, no cigar." Sombra chuckled.

"Yes, it was a nice try, birdie, but we're much more powerful than you!" The Evil Queen added before she and Sombra soon shot the magic right back at Raven and Atticus.

The two of them were soon hit by the magic blasts before ending up in the same position Snow White was in before she was turned into a snake. Nevermore whimpered worriedly for Atticus and Raven, though mostly Raven since she was her mistress/trainer after all. Sombra then added a force-field while Atticus and Raven were still down to punish them even further.

"We know you're just doing this to save your little friends out there!" The Evil Queen began to tell the kids.

"But this is, ironically, for your own good." Sombra added as he joined the Evil Queen's side.

Nevermore soon came in to defend both Atticus and Raven, beginning to grow in size.

"Oh, please." Sombra smirked before using his magic to magically put a collar and chain around Nevermore's neck, dragging her away from Raven.

"Nevermore!" Raven cried out for her pet dragon.

"Uncle Sombra, you've gone too far this time!" Atticus glared from his and Raven's prison.

"You may not be evil now, Raven Queen and Atticus Fudo, but mark our words." The Evil Queen began.

"You will learn!" Sombra soon said with the Evil Queen then firmly.

They soon heard some dragon roars before they saw the group flying to the castle on their dragons. Cherry was dangling on the end of Midnight's tail though as Crow was trying to help her back up so she wouldn't fall off before they both looked over and waved with their free hands over to Atticus and Raven. Atticus and Raven smiled a bit before waving back at their best friend and brother.

"Apple!" Raven soon called out in realization. "Apple's awake!"

"Annoyingly lucky heroes." Sombra rolled his eyes.

"Yes, and it seems somebody showed her how to use the booking glass," The Evil Queen snapped. "You! You were behind this! You played with Faybelle's jealousies and tricked her into joining your friends! You manipulated little chip off the old glass slipper!" she then changed her outfit a bit before she went running off of the school building and jumped in the air before she soon landed on one of her personally evil dragons. "It takes a truly wicked scheme to concoct a scheme like that! Oh you have so much potential! It's too bad I have to go destroy your friends now. Spell you later!" she then told Atticus and Raven on the way out.

This then made the evil dragon roar once the Evil Queen was mounted onto it.

"Shall I join you? I highly doubt these two will be able to get free." Sombra said to The Evil Queen.

"Very well, Sombra," The Evil Queen replied. "Say your goodbyes and come meet me at once."

"As you wish," Sombra nodded as he gave a loyal bow to her before coming towards Atticus. "Nephew... Listen to me..."

Atticus glanced over, though a bit bitter towards the evil unicorn who terrorized his very existence in finding friendship.

"It doesn't have to be this way, you know," Sombra grinned. "I'll let you go if you choose wisely... Choose your destiny... Or remain in there for all time there is left in this miserable realm."

Atticus just narrowed his eyes bravely as he refused to stand up and join Sombra.

"Have it your way." Sombra glowered as he soon went to go off and join the Evil Queen.

"Honestly, every single time I keep telling him I will never join his side," Atticus told Raven. "But he just never listens."

"Believe me, I think I know just how you feel sometimes," Raven replied. "I've been pretty much dealing with this my whole life."

"And they made a big mistake because with our magic together, we can break free." Atticus smiled.

"You still wanna combine magic with me?" Raven asked.

"It can't hurt," Atticus reassured. "We can't let them boss us around just because they're older and they think they know what's best for us."

"Yeah. You're right." Raven nodded.

"So whenever you're ready, Raven." Atticus smiled.

"Alright everyone, listen up!" Darling soon called out to get everybody's attention. "Apple has to get as close to the Evil Queen as she can. Let's cover her back and make sure that she gets there. Hang onto your crowns." she then added before she whipped the reigns and soon made her dragon go faster.

"I'm coming, Raven!" Crow proclaimed as he did the same with Midnight.

"I seriously think that dragons need saddles!" Cherry called out while holding on to Midnight's tail.

"Just hold on tight a little bit, okay?!" Crow called back to her. "You wouldn't wanna fall off!"

"Oh, gee, thanks for the tip!" Cherry rolled her eyes in deadpan.

Darling, Cerise, and her dragon soon went head-to-head with the Evil Queen and her dragon. Darling's dragon then let out a blast of ice and the Evil Queen's dragon blasted out dark magical energy.

"Get 'em, Queenie," Sombra smirked. "This will show these kids what 'Happily Ever After' really means."

"Oh, I sure will." The Evil Queen smirked back.

At Ever After High, Atticus and Raven could only watch as the battle happened.

"Raven, we have to help them." Atticus told the girl.

"You're right," Raven agreed. "We have to help our friends stop my mother."

"And my uncle." Atticus replied.

"Let's try it." Raven nodded before their hands started to glow together.

"Raven! Atticus! Please help us!" Giles called out.

"She can't do it," Milton told his brother. "She doesn't have the strength."

"What about with Atticus then?" Giles asked.

"We can only hope for Atticus." Drell advised.

With a grunt, Raven soon released her magic and Atticus helped her break through the force-field.

"Did we do it?" Raven asked.

"Yeah! Teamwork!" Atticus beamed.

"They escaped. Great." Drell smiled.

Nevermore began to roar as she tried to get free from the chains before two familiar dragons came to her side. The three dragons smiled at each other as this looked like a good sign so far.

Meanwhile, down below, the Evil Queen was deflecting each blow that the dragons give her. She then chased after Apple and Faybelle, then shot at them. Faybelle dodged and flew off, Cedar and Poppy's dragon, sweeping her away. As soon as the Evil Queen flew in the front of Apple, she tried positioning her booking glass, but the Evil Queen takes a dive and Apple soon followed after Daring, Dexter, and Hunter were being chased by two evil dragons. Darling's dragon then shot ice at the dragons' heads.

"Enough of this!" Sombra glared. "While I'm around, I won't have such insubordination in this school!"

Suddenly, Crow zipped by as Cherry knocked Sombra down by kicking him in the head, making him fall on the floor.

"Why, you little-" Sombra glared up at Cherry, gnashing his teeth at her.

"Not really your school though, Sombra!" Cherry called out mockingly.

"I'll teach you for mocking me." Sombra glared as he used his crystal illusion powers to make his own dragon appear before flying off on it towards Cherry.

"That was really something, Crow," Cherry said as she climbed as best she could on Midnight's back. "I think we really showed him."

Crow smiled at her before gasping as he looked right behind her. "Cherry, look out!"

"What?" Cherry asked before seeing the crystal dragon and yelped. "Oh! Sugar!"

The dragon snarled and soon swooped in, catching her in its claws suddenly.

"'Go on adventures with Atticus', they said... 'It'll be fun', they said..." Cherry narrowed her eyes cynically.

"Now to teach you a lesson you'll never forget." Sombra smirked.

"Seriously? This isn't enough?" Cherry asked.

"I'm afraid not." Sombra smirked.

"That's a big 'nope' from me!" Cherry smirked back mockingly.

Ashlynn and Maddie were soon being chased by another dragon.

"Maddie, use the fire extinguisher." Ashlynn told her friend.

Maddie gasped and threw it at the evil dragon who was about to fire at them. The hit then knocked the dragon unconscious.

"Not exactly what I had in mind, but it works!" Ashlynn then said.

Maddie began to laugh as she liked of how she knocked out the dragon.

"Sombra, let her go!" Crow glared as he rode on top of Midnight.

"Oh, you must be the Evil Prince and the least favorite son." Sombra mocked as his dragon carried Cherry tightly in its claws.

"Uncle Sombra, let her go!" Atticus's voice glared.

"Ah, Atticus, good to see you again." Sombra smirked.

"Yeah, hey, Atticus," Cherry rolled her eyes. "What's up? Me? I'm just dangling for my life from a crystal dragon."

"Don't worry, Cherry; I'll help you." Atticus promised.

"Who's worried?" Cherry deadpanned. "This is just like Superman saving Lois Lane from Lex Luthor. It's happened so many times, I could probably fall asleep and nothing would change."

"Then how's about we change things?" Sombra smirked as he snapped his fingers.

The crystal dragon soon let go of Cherry, letting her fall.

Cherry did feel scared about falling, though not too much.

"Cherry!" Atticus cried out.

"You can either stop me or save your friend; it's your choice." Sombra smirked.

Atticus glared at his evil unicorn uncle before flying down to save his best friend. Sombra laughed as he just stormed off at that.

"Aaahhh..." Cherry blinked dully as she crossed her arms after falling for a while.

Atticus soon swooped in and caught Cherry in time with a small smile.

"Why don't ya just shoot him?" Cherry asked in a Harley Quinn voice after she was caught in his arms.

"That's not my style." Atticus told her.

"Of course it isn't." Cherry said.

"It's gonna be okay though," Atticus replied. "We'll find a way to stop him without resorting to murder."

The crystal dragon soon roared right in their faces, blowing their hair back.

"Oh, right, nearly forgot about the crystal dragon." Atticus said.

"Hey! Leave my father and aunt alone!" Spyro's voice growled.

"Spyro?" Atticus asked.

"Did he just call me his aunt?" Cherry added.

The crystal dragon snarled at Spyro, whacking away the purple dragon with his tail, smacking him into the nearest wall. Spyro groaned before getting off the wall and flew off towards the crystal dragon and attacked him with his dragon power. Crow soon flew back with Midnight.

"Can you make a saddle for that thing?" Cherry complained.

"I guess if we should go back with Crow and the other Ever After High students," Atticus shrugged before he decided to make a saddle for Midnight. "Is that okay, Crow?"

"Sure," Crow replied. "I'm gonna go help my classmates."

"Alright then." Atticus said.

Crow soon flew off with Midnight, looking around to see where he could help. Sombra narrowed his eyes as he took that time to escape.

"Hang in there, Spyro, I'll be back later." Atticus firmly promised before taking off.

"...Guess I'll just stand here and be a living prop!" Cherry shrugged as she stood in the background while everyone else had stuff to do except for her. She soon remembered the Ever After High teachers, headmasters, and Snow White needed to be free, not knowing Drell also needed to be free. She soon looked around and soon dashed away as quickly as she could without anyone else seeing her.

Cherry slunk against the lockers, dashing back and forth from left to right to avoid villains, dragons, or anything else like that as she made it into a darkened hallway before yelping as the TV screen suddenly came on, startling her instantly.

"Blondie Lockes here, reporting from the front-lines of the most spellbinding dragon battle ever after!" Blondie smiled as she was shown, doing a live MirrorCast. "Apple White is leading a team of students in a royal campaign to stop the Evil Queen and send her back to the Mirror Realm! There's also word on Atticus Fudo attempting to take down King Sombra of Equestria who is also his evil uncle! More to come as the pages continue to turn on this amazing story!" she then used a pan on her head as a shield from incoming fire.

"Don't... Get... Caught..." Cherry told herself before she ducked into the Grimm brothers' office and shut the door behind her so that she wouldn't get caught. Luckily for her, there were no any other villains or dragons that would stop her since all the dragons were outside and there were no other villains around. She soon arrived at the room where the teachers, headmasters, and Snow White and unknown to her, Drell was as well. "Snow White? Headmasters Grimm? Anybody?" she called out weakly.

"Cherry!" The voices caleld out.'

Cherry flinched before she came over to the jars. "There you guys are," she said in relief even if she didn't smile. "Now to get you out. I wonder where Drell is? I hope he didn't ditch us just to sit on his lazy butt and watch TV all day..." she pondered then.

"EXCUSE ME?!" Drell snapped from inside his jar, leaning up against the glass to glare at her. "You think I'm lazy just to let you kids go on these adventures for sick kicks?! I think not! I heavily disagree!"

"Oh, hello, there..." Cherry waved and smiled sheepishly. "Don't worry; I'll help get you guys out of here."

"Great, so then get us free, also Snow White; after this you will give Crow a chance to date your daughter, right?" Drell asked the white snake.

"Hmm... I'll think about thissss..." Snow White said while hissing.

"Come on now!" Drell squeaked a bit. "I know what his mother did to you in the past, but Crow tries so hard to impress you and Apple so that they can be happy together. Don't you want your daughter to be happy?"

"I do," Snow White admitted. "And I remember what the Evil Queen ussssed to do to me."

Cherry turned away, crossing her arms with a firm pout.

"Hey! Help usssss!" Snow White told Cherry.

"Not unless you let Crow spend more time with Apple," Cherry decided. "Even I can see that he's head-over-heels for her."

"Yep, he's truly in love with her; I bet he even broke the curse from the poison apple, waking her up with true love's kiss," Drell said. "After all, it's the most powerful magic of all next to friendship."

"Actually, he did." Cherry told them.

"Really...?" Snow White asked. "I was going with the tradition of Daring Charming being with Apple forever after."

"I'm sure you did, but Crow says otherwise." Cherry said with a satisfied smirk.

"D'oh..." Snow White groaned. "...Very well. I'll let Crow sssspend more time with Apple."

"There, now was that so hard?" Cherry smirked before she dug into her pocket and took out a pocket-sized version of her spellbook as she flipped through the pages. "All right, now how did it go again? I guess I could change you guys back to normal and find a way to sneak out without Sombra or The Evil Queen noticing if I'm quiet and clever enough."

"Of course you are, but to make sure the spell works perfectly, you must first find our bodies and match them with the right animals." Drell told her.

"Oh, uh, right..." Cherry replied.

"And make sure you aim properly and correctly," Drell told her. "One slip-up and this could end horribly."

Cherry hid her face behind her spellbook as she gulped nervously, trying to hide her fear around him.

"By the way, no pressure." Drell then advised.

Cherry narrowed her eyes in deadpan as she lowered her book. "...You're lucky the Witch's Council needs you otherwise they would fall apart..." she mumbled before she cleared her throat and tried to get ready.

The perky goth soon went to get the teachers' bodies, headmasters' bodies, Snow White's body, and Drell's body to where they were needed.

"Now, do you remember the spell?" Drell asked.

"Yes, Drell, I remember the spell." Cherry grumbled through her teeth.

"Then have at it," Drell replied. "If you will."

Cherry sighed as she sorted herself out. "'Although magic has caused you a great deal of what's in store, Return your forms back to the ways you once were before'." she then recited after she pulled her school training wand out of her sleeve and soon waved it to shoot the headmasters, Snow White, and Drell with a flick of the wand, shooting them with its magic instantly.

And once the magic hit the teachers, headmasters, Snow White, and Drell, they returned to their bodies while the animals had their bodies back.

"Perfect." Drell said.

"Great... Everyone good?" Cherry asked, sounding nearly desparate. "Can I leave now?"

"What's your rush?" Snow White asked before Sombra was soon rising up from behind the perky goth who looked annoyed, but also a bit scared.

"I wanna get out of here as soon as possible before that jerkface, evil, egotistical, sublime, sneaky, narcasstic, malicious, vicious, heinous, atrocious unicorn shows up and tries to ruin my life like he always does!" Cherry glared firmly that time. "Just you wait and see, the next time I see him, I'm gonna rear his ugly horn all the way to another dimension that it'll make Rumplestiltskin look like a Troll doll!"

"Uh, Cherry, I really think you shouldn't have said that." Drell said.

"Why?" Cherry asked before seeing all their hand gestures, telling her one thing. "...He's right behind me, isn't he?"

The others nodded.

"D'oh..." Cherry groaned as she turned pale in her face and slowly turned around with a nervous smile. "Sombra... Hello there... Equestria hasn't been the same without you... Though I guess I wouldn't know as I wasn't born yet."

"You talk a very big game for someone who's terrified of me." Sombra smirked as he looked down at her.

"Give up, Sombra; you're outnumbered." Drell smirked.

"Indeed." Snow White added.

"On the contrary," Sombra smirked back. "I'm not afraid of a little team-up... All that matters," he then said before grabbing Cherry by her collar, forcing their eyes to meet. "Is that this little lady is taken out of the picture."

"You can't keep badgering Atticus forever into being your prince," Cherry glared as bravely as she could. "You and the Evil Queen will go home without your heirs whether you like it or not, but I'd love to banish you into The Mirror Realm with her."

"Maybe, but I won't be joining her." Sombra glared back.

"Oh, we'll see about that." Atticus's voice erupted as he glared.

"Ah... Atticus... How very good to see you..." Sombra smirked as he kept a hold of Cherry.

"Let her go, Uncle Sombra, it's me you want." Atticus glared.

"All right..." Sombra smirked and soon shot Cherry away and off of the ground, smacking into a wall with a magical surge.

Cherry groaned before she slid down the wall and fell on the floor as stars spun around her head like in a cartoon.

"It's time we take this battle to the sky." Sombra smirked.

"I couldn't agree more." Atticus glared.

Drell soon picked up Cherry and moved her out of the way just as Atticus and Sombra bolted off to the sky together, breaking through the roof even more and large pieces fell off including on top of where Cherry was before she was moved. "You okay, kid?" he then asked.

"Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star~..." Cherry said in a daze.

Meanwhile...

"Apple, be very careful." Crow warned the girl he liked.

"I will, Crow," Apple promised as she took off. "I better go!"

"Apple, wait, I gotta tell you something!" Crow cried out before sighing as he looked up to the Heavens. "Oh, please Mother Goose, let her come back in one piece."

Apple chased after The Evil Queen as they went up the tower until she couldn't see The Evil Queen anymore. Crow soon flew off with Midnight as he tried not to look too upset or heartbroken about Apple being gone, though he was worried that something might happen before he gets the chance to tell her how he really felt.

Apple was soon chasing the Evil Queen who cackled at her. She then pulled on her dragon's reigns back to stop before noticing the Evil Queen coming at her and gasped. "Capture the Evil Q-" she then began to use her booking glass only for it to be snatched away from her. "NO!"

"Now I'm going to let all your friends see what it's like to spend 100 years in the Mirror Realm, starting with you!" The Evil Queen cackled as she held the booking glass towards Apple to get back at her. "Capture Apple!"

A blast of magical energy then suddenly intercepted the mirror's trajectory and it was shown to have come from Raven as she flew in on Nevermore.

"Somebody's been practicing!" The Evil Queen smirked once she saw that it was her daughter.

The mirror soon plummeted several feet down and Raven caught it in time and soon passed the mirror over to Apple.

"Well, isn't this a fun little reunion?" The Evil Queen taunted.

"It's over, Mom!" Raven retorted bravely. "We're taking back the school."

"And I'm going to help my friends, no matter what you do or say, Uncle Sombra! Why can't you just accept that?!" Atticus glared. "You'll never change, you're gonna be what you always will be: evil, heartless, and friendless!"

"I didn't need friends and the same to you!" Sombra glared back.

"You're wrong!" Attcius retorted.

"I am never wrong." Sombra narrowed his eyes as he shot dark magic towards Atticus.

Atticus dodged it while in flight and soon grabbed onto Sombra and threw him, sending him flying.

"Whoa!" Crow yelped as he luckily got out of the way with Midnight in time. "Easy!"

"Sorry, Crow!" Atticus called out nervously.

"Ugh! He just will never listen!" Sombra glared towards Atticus, saying this to himself.

"I am so taking him down." Atticus glared back as he promised himself.

"You know, you always promise to do so and yet something stops you at the last minute." Sombra smirked.

"Yeah, well, my heart's not made out of rocks like yours is," Atticus narrowed his eyes. "Uncle Sombra, if you really loved me and cared about me, you'd respect my own decision and not joining your side. Whether you destroy one school with some friends or my own school with mine and Cherry's school friends or even if you did something dark and unforgivable like... Like..."

"Destroying your best friend?" Sombra guessed.

Atticus just kept his eyes narrowed.

"Yes... That makes sense," Sombra said to himself. "What other choice would you have if Cherry were to have an unfortunate and grave accident?"

"Don't you dare." Atticus glared.

Sombra smirked. "So that would be your ultimate weakness," he then said. "If something horrible like that happened to little Cherry Berry~"

"I swear, Uncle Sombra if you so much as do any harm to Cherry or any of my friends; I will never forgive you." Atticus glared.

Sombra just smirked and walked off.

"Get back here!" Atticus glared as he lunged out and tackled Sombra.

Sombra soon laughed from underneath Atticus. "You have so much promise and potential," he said to him. "Why waste it on a useless pastime like friendship?"

"Because friendship and love are important!" Atticus glared.

"So you claim." Sombra smirked.

"ARGH!" Atticus roared then.
