Crane X Viper: Fading Memories

Viper was in her room. Alone. And worst of all, she lost her friend. Crane, was the name. A good friend of hers.
She just sobbed, laying in her bed, with the lamp light on.

Viper had remembered that she befriends Crane as they got along, and used to hang out with each other; she also remembered that she and Crane felt the love after their long chats.

*~(First Flashback)~*

Crane and Viper were sitting at the cliff of the rock, staring at the sunset.

"Viper, there's something important I had to tell you," Crane said.

"What's that, Crane?" Viper asked.

"You know how we got along and felt the love?" he asked.

"Yes?" she asked as well.

"You comforted me when I was sad," Crane replied as he touched his chest with his wing.

This is how Viper loved him when she takes care of him and stop his worries and sadness.

"You also hear you tried to do the same when I have anger inside. So we didn't know what's wrong that day, as it turns out... I have less... less... cancer," Crane continued.

Viper felt less shock.

"Can...cer? What do you mean by it?" she asked Crane.

"It's a very mean disease. It forces your body to start fighting itself," he said.

"But, you'll be okay, right Crane?" Viper responded.

Crane chuckled, as he placed a wing on her back.

"Of course I will. I'm never going down with out a fight, love. Don't you worry," he smiled.

"Oh, you'll be strongest, Crane. I know you'll be okay!" she smiled back at him.

They'll always be together. Forever.

*~(Second Flashback)~*

"What do you MEAN it's getting worse?!" Crane cried out,

"I've done EVERYTHING you told me; the training, the fighting postures, EVERYTHING! How can it STILL be getting worse?!"

"Crane, please-" Shifu continued.

"I have Viper to think about! I can't let this thing beat me. She's feeling down, and I have to be here for her!" Crane interrupted.

Viper was at the door, looking at her friend arguing with their master. She was at a gape.

"Please calm down, I'm doing everything-" Shifu insisted again.

"WELL TRY HARDER!" Crane shouted.

*~(Third Flashback)~*

In the royal hospital, Viper was at Crane's side, after the two and their team battle was over against the strong villain, whom they tried to defeat until now, a few days ago.

"You know, I never lost anything before..." Crane said slowly, laying on the bed, spattered by his blood, which was already cleaned off.

His body was covered with less big cuts, and his wings are broken, bit aided. His hat was carried by Viper. Inhaling, he continued,

"I never lost my home... at least..."

"You'll be okay, Crane! You just need rest!" Viper pleaded, holding back a sob.

"I'm gonna miss everything... huh..." Crane exhaled weakly, continuing,

"You, my friends, our children..."

"You'll be there; Please, you just need rest!" Viper interrupted tearfully.

Crane slowly took deep breaths, and placed a wing on her back and gazed at Viper closely. He nuzzling her lovingly. Viper kissed him on the face gently.

"I'm so sorry, Viper... I lost this battle, but I never stop fighting. You can't either..." Crane wheezed softly as he continued,

"Never give up on your dreams, okay?"

Viper sobbed as tears fell from her eyes.

"I won't, Crane, I promise!" she cried.

Crane made a final look on Viper as he inhaled, struggling,

"I... love you... Vi~...~per..."

After these words, Crane exhaled, with his heartbeat stopping.

"I love you, too, Crane..." Viper sobbed, but she stopped as Crane's wing slipped from her back.

"Crane?" she asked in surprise, but it was over. Too late, this time.

"Crane! CRANE!" Viper shouted, and she collapsed into his body.

Viper had cried her heart out uncontrollably, hoping that Crane will wake up again.

"CRANE!" her mournful scream had echoed... in sadness.

Not every lives of the two friendly masters could have a happy ending. It already has had tragedy, and sorrow.

*~(End of Flashback)~*

Viper wiped her eyes tearfully with her tail, still lying in her bed. The others: Po, Tigress, Monkey, and Mantis, were sadly looking at her.

"Poor Viper," Po whispered,

"Shall we comfort her?"

"Just let her be," We'll talk later when she's better," Monkey said sadly.

"How sad, she had lost Crane as time passed," Mantis said softly.

"I wish she could cheer up, but I can't believe he was killed by a villain," Tigress said.

Po and his friends stayed out of her room next to the doorway.

"I miss you, Crane," Viper said, holding a sob, still lying in her bed.

"I miss you, too," said a voice.

Viper popped her eyes. She can see a glowing light in her room. It was Crane! His soul was brightening the dark in her room.

"Crane! You're here!" Viper cried as she gazed at him, coiling around his neck,

"I'm so happy, I really miss you!"

"I missed you, too," Crane said softly, in a comforting voice. He embraced her back.

Viper felt warm in his souled embrace.

"Aw..." Po and his friends whispered in awe.

Sometimes, not every lives get to be happy forever, but be half that and tragically sad, though.

After embracing each other, Viper turned out the lamp light with her tail and laid back in her bed. Crane stayed as he layed in the bed as well. His soul glowed brightly in the dark. Then the two were asleep.

Po and his friends looked in awe, and went back home to their own separate rooms.
