Previously: A great start to a great day.' She thought.

She got off the floor and headed to the bathroom to get dressed.

Chapter 2

Ginny's POV

Ginny got ready and apparated outside of the Burrow. Mr. and Mrs. Weasley had gone out for the night and they allowed Hermione to have Ron's birthday at the Burrow.

Ginny sneaked in through the front door and tried her best not to get noticed. She made her way through the crowd trying not to be seen by her almost-sister in law because she was late.

"Ginny Weasley! Finally you decide to join us!" She heard Hermione yell over the loud music.

"Sorry Hermione. I took a little long to get ready."

"Oh don't you make up excuses! Look I know you don't like being in social situations but honestly it's your brother's birthday. You could've come on time."

"Hermione I said I'm sorry! I'm only like twenty minutes late."

"No Ginny. You're an hour late!" The bushy haired girl said with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Oh." Ginny said "Well at least I'm here now?"

Hermione still looked at her with disappointment. "I'm going to go get a drink." Ginny said as she walked over to the bar.

"One Fire Whiskey please." She said as she sat down on one of the bar stools.

"I'll take one too." She heard a familiar voice say. She closed her eyes, she knew that voice. How could she not know that voice! It was the voice of the man she had been in love with since she was 11. Bloody 11!

"Hey Gin." She opened her eyes as she heard the name that only he had ever called her.

"Hi. How are you?" She asked.

"I'm good. How are you? It's been awhile since I saw you." He said.

"I'm good too." She said which by the way, was a total lie. She was lonely. Of course she had her family, friends and teammates, she had even gone on a few dates. But it was like something was missing... or someone was missing and she knew exactly who that person was, she just didn't want to admit it. Her thought was broken when the waiter brought their drinks.

"I've been busy with work." She said taking a sip of her drink. "That's why I haven't been at the Sunday dinners lately." She added.

"Yeah. I guess being a famous quidditch star can be pretty time consuming." He replied.

"I notice you've been missing a few dinner too."

She said taking another sip. He took a sip of his own drink before answering. "Yeah I've been busy with work too." He said but she could tell that wasn't the reason. She decided to ignore that.

"Yeah I guess saving the world can be pretty time consuming too." She said with a smile. He chuckled and she realised this was the first time they'd had a real conversation in a while. She took yet another sip of her drink but realised he glass was empty. She asked the waiter for another one and so did Harry. They sat in silence until the waiter come with a few more drinks. They drank and talked for awhile about their time at Hogwarts and how Hermione and Ron were oblivious about their feelings. They drank and talked, drinking a little more than talking. Somehow they had ended up laughing about absolutely nothing. The laughter died down a bit and Harry broke the silence.

"We are so drunkkk." He said waving his arms around like a crazy person which seemed pretty funny to Ginny as she started laughing again.

"We're drunkerer than Haagrid." She said still laughing. They had been drinking for at least half an hour... or two.

"Let's get out of heree." Harry suggested.

"How do we do that? Hermii is guarding all the doors." She said.

"That is true. Damn Hermioneee and her smart arssss." He said.

"Wait I have an idea!" She said as she grabbed his hand started leading him to her old bedroom.

"Why'd you bring me here. Are you gunna give me a preseent like you gave me on my 17th birfday?" He asked as she closed the closed behind them.

"No you idiooot! We're gonna escape this place through the windwo!" She said as she opened the window. She looked out to check if the cost was clear.

"Come onnnn Harrrrryyy!" She said as she jumped out the window onto a few bushes. Harry followed her actions and jumped down.

"Where do you wanna go now?" He asked her.

"My place. Let's go!" She grabbed his hand and apparated to her flat before he could say something.

"We are very very very drunkkk!" She said. They were both sitting on the couch leaning against each other, trying to prevent themselves from falling. She turned around to look at him and they both stopped laughing as soon as they made eye contact. She realised that she was leaning in and so was he. Their faces were a few inches apart and her eyes fluttered close. She felt his lips on hers.

Sure she was pretty drunk... okay very drunk, but she had also been wanting to do this for a very long time. The drinks just helped a little.

Before she realised what was happening she was pushed against the wall next to her bedroom, legs wrapped around his waist, buttons of her blouse opened and she didn't even know where his shirt had gone. He pulled away from her, looked right into her chocolate brown eyes and said "Ginny were drunk, we really should not do this."

"She pulled his lips back to hers and said "Harry believe me, I'm very much conscious." as she continued to kiss him.

Harry's POV

He didn't know how or when it had happened but he was now standing in Ginny Weasley's flat shirtless, her legs around his waist, snogging her senseless. In other circumstances he would have been ecstatic to be in this position but right now he knew this was wrong. She was drunk and he would be taking advantage of her.

He pulled away and looked her in the eyes. 'Oh those beautiful brown eyes. Focus Potter!'

"Ginny were drunk, we really should not do this."

"She pulled his lips back to hers and said "Harry believe me, I'm very much conscious." as she continued to kiss him.
