Finn had known he wasn't the smartest tool in the shed, but one thing he did know was that he loved his ex girlfriend Quinn, even after she lied about the baby, he still loved her, but he also hated her. He didn't think he could ever love again, not soon at least. But then Rachel just decided that they were going to date. He didn't know how to tell her that he just wanted to be alone. Then Santana and Brittany showed up.
"Breadsticks 8:00 don't be late." Santana told Finn
"We're going on a date." Brittany said
"With which one of you?"
"Both of us." They said together and then walked away, that's when Tina showed up. Tina had secretly liked Finn, I mean didn't all of them. She wanted to ask him on the date when she realized that he had just agreed to go on a date with Santana and Brittany, but she continued to walk up to him.
"Didn't think of you as a three woman type of guy" Tina told Finn, then he turned around.
"What do you mean three women?"
"I mean Rachel, Santana, and Brittany."
"Well technically me and Rachel aren't actually together, she just kinda forced it on me, I just want time to myself."
"And Brittany and Santana."
"Wow for someone so quiet, you sure judge people a lot, I mean what if you had the chance to date Artie AND Matt, you would do it, wouldn't you."
"Yeah, but thats different."
"Why why is it so different?'
"Because Brittany and Santana aren't good people, you are a good person Finn, you can't cheat on Rachel, just tell, tell her you want time okay Finn"
"Why are you right on this." Finn groaned and put his hand on his face while he knelt down.
"Because you are a good person, and you would feel guilt if you cheated on her now go and tell Rachel."
"But what if she crys"
"She'll cry harder if you cheat."
Finn head down to tell Rachel how he felt about it and her, but then he saw her standing by herself all alone and he couldn't do it, he walked up to her and said
"Hey Rach, how are you doing today "
"I'm doing fine just thinking about our next date, I have it written on this calendar for us." That, that was it, right then he knew that he wasn't ready for another serious relationship, he knew he wanted to be free from the chains of dating someone that you don't really like and only feel pity for.
"Rachel there's something I need to tell you."
"What is it?"
"I can't be your boyfriend, not right now.""
"Wait no, we can work this out we can figure it out." Right then she started sobbing and Finn didn't know what to do.
"It's just I have feelings for someone else."
"Who, do still have feelings for Quinn." Finn had to think of something so he said
"I like Tina, yeah I'm really into her and I don't think I could be with someone else right now, I like her too much."
"Really TINA, that girl isn't nearly as good at singing as me"
"This isn't about singing, this is about having feelings for someone and I have more feelings for her than for you. In fact we're going on a date tonight at 8:00." Then he left, he left her sobbing by her locker, looking for Tina. Then he found her about to enter her next class.
"Hey Tina"
"Hey Finn, so did you do it."
"Yeah, it was surprisingly easier than I thought it would be."
"Well good for you, now you can, go on a date with Santana and Brittany guilt free."
"Yeah here's the thing though, I told Rachel that I had feelings for you, so basically it won't be Santana, Brittany, and I. It'll be me and you."
"Well do you actually have feelings for me" Tina instantly regretted asking that question. She didn't want to get her heartbroken, but here it goes.
"I actually don't know, you're cool and all, but my feelings are kinda all over the place."
"Then lets just not go on the date." Tina suggested
"No, we have to go on the date, knowing Rachel, she will definitely check if we're really there or not."
"You have to tell Santana and Brittany the date is off then."
"Why do I have to do so much?!"
"You got yourself into this mess, so now you gotta get yourself out." Then she walked into the classroom, but secretly she was so happy inside.
Finn went searching around the school for Santana and Brittany, like so long he missed class, but he couldn't find them. Then he walked into the janitor's closet and saw them making out.
"What's going on here?!" Finn yelled
"Um, you never saw this." Santana said getting up
"See you at eight." Brittany said walking out.
"No, you won't. I'm going with someone else, I was coming here to tell you."
"Is this because of what you saw, because I'm straight."
"No it's not, I just, I have feelings for someone else. Bye"
It was the end of school and he saw Tina walking out of the school to the bus.
"Hello Tina, it was actually very easy to um, convince them, I guess."
"So what is this going to be. Casual or Fancy."
"Tina, we're going to breadsticks "
"Right, I almost forgot."
"Tina, I think I may be gaining feelings for you, like real feelings, you're nice and smart and you helped me a lot, so what do you say do you want it to be a real date"
"Well then I guess it's time to tell you that I've liked you since sectionals."
"Why, I was being a dick that week."
"It was the way you came back for the team, even though you were mad at us, like a real leader, it was hot."
"Okay, well you are not going home on the bus. I'll drive you."
"Really, well then okay"
It was later that day and Finn was at breadsticks Tina wasn't there yet, but that's probably because it was 7:50. Then she walked in, she was dressed casually, but to Finn she looked more beautiful than before.
"Wow, you look stunning."
"You don't look so bad yourself" Tina answered. The night went on and surprisingly Rachel never showed up. It was the stage where they were both leaving after an amazing night together.
"This is the midnight kiss stage, right?" Finn asked
"I mean it not midnight, but" and she pulled him down and his lips were on hers. They parted.
"I'm really glad that, I told Rachel that, because it may not have been true then, but now, I love you"
"I love you too."
