A/N: This is my first ever story. I am not a writer so i don't have much experience in writing. You might notice grammar/syntax errors. I just read a lot of books, read all Harry Potter books and began reading a lot of fanfiction so, i decided to give it a shot. I tried my best to be canon compliant especially with the pairings. I may have introduced new characters of my own. Harry Potter and characters in the book i used in the story belongs to J.k Rowling. I hope you enjoy reading it.

Chapter 1

Ginny woke up to the sound of her alarm. She reached up sleepily to the side of the bed trying to put out that deafening sound.

Bloody hell Ginny thought. She tried sitting up, while squinting her eyes from the sunlight that is piercing through her window. She tried remembering the events of last night which was rather pleasant when the door flew open and her teammate, Mira Glenn, walked in. She was eating a sandwich and holding what seems to be the daily prophet on her other hand. "Good, you're awake Ginny, you are in today's gossip column" She announced. She handed the newspaper to Ginny who was still trying to get to her senses. Ginny groaned as she took the paper and flipped it open to the gossip column.

HOLLYHEAD HARPY GINNY WEASLEY ENJOYING A MUGGLE SPORT

WITH A MYSTERY MAN. WHO IS HE?

Below the headline was a picture of her laughing and smiling at the mystery guy whose back was against the camera and was wearing a muggle cap to hide his identity. Wow, it really worked. That prat. Ginny thought remembering how she told him his muggle cap isn't going to work and he will definitely be identified.

"So, who is this mystery guy? Never saw you smile like that, he must be very special" Mira asked bringing Ginny back from her thoughts.

"Nobody, you know." Ginny mumbled as she gave the photo a last look and set it aside on her bedside table. She really was smiling and remembered he was just telling her some random work trip story.

Mira gave her a curious look "So, you mean he is a muggle?"

"No, he is a wizard, not that there is anything wrong with dating a muggle but, uhm, he is a wizard" Ginny replied. She stood up and picked up her towel trying to get away from her prying team mate.

Ginny and Mira became close friends since both of them were drafted at the same time as chasers to the team and they often spend a lot of time talking to each other on and off the field. Mira graduated from Beauxbaton Academy of Magic in France but her family is from London. Ginny asked her once why she didn't go to Hogwarts and she said it was her mother's choice who was also an alum of the school.

"Come on Ginny, I won't tell a soul" she begged. She followed Ginny as she exited her room for the women's bathroom. Ginny opened the door and paused to look at her friend who was giving her the puppy look "You do know that won't work on me."

"Please"

"I know you won't tell a soul but I really can't tell you because we really like where we are in the relationship and we want to keep it private as much as possible. Trust me, you will know when the time comes" Ginny entered the bathroom and unto one of the shower cubicle.

Ginny was in Holyhead Harpies training camp for almost three months now. They were training as hard as ever since the Quidditch World Cup is just a few weeks away. This would be Ginny's first world cup and boy is she excited and nervous at the same time. She has been making a name for herself in the Quidditch world since she joined the team right after she graduated from Hogwarts. She already has a very solid fan base that is probably at their wits right now trying to figure out who that "mystery guy" was.

Nobody knows of course, except for her family and very close friends. Nobody has the slightest idea she was dating none other than the boy-who-lived himself, Harry Potter.
