Chapter 46: Giovanni Rumble Part 2
Team Sora returns to the arena to prepare for the next match. For a few minutes. it seems the other team didn't enter the ring. Team Sora thought they would win by default, when all of a sudden, the arena explodes. Team Sora shields their eyes from the dust. The trio began coughing from the dust. They then hear three familiar laughs coming from the dust.
Ash: Oh no! Not them again!
Pikachu: Pika!
? 1: Prepare for trouble, it's time for our revenge...
? 2: And make it double, this battle's gonna be intense...
The smoke clears to reveal Team Rocket. James was holding a red rose in his hand.
Jessie: To protect the world from devastation...
James: To unite all people within our nation...
Before they could continue, Team Rocket could hear snoring sounds. They gasped in surprise to see that the entire stadium has fallen asleep. Everyone, including Team Sora. Team Rocket got red with anger.
Jessie: HOW DARE THEY DO THAT TO US! NO ONE SLEEPS THROUGH THE TEAM ROCKET MOTTO AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!
James: Those twerps can laugh at us, throw us around, send us flying into space, but when you ignore the motto, you've gone too far!
Meowth: WAKE UP!
Meowth scratched Sora on the face, leaving scratch marks. The boy felt sharp pain and screams in pain, which caused everyone to wake up. He covers his face from the pain.
Sora: AAAAAHHHHH! You stupid cat! What was that for?
Meowth: Dat is what you get for sleeping through da motto!
Plucky: Well, I think you guys just do the same motto, over and over. Why not make it short and sweet? How about "Star light, star bright, we are Team Rocket, so prepare to fight!"
James: Ooh! It sounds cool.
Jessie then bonks James on the head.
Jessie: You idiot! We stick to our motto and never change!
Sora: Just finish your motto, so we can fight.
Jessie: Very well. To denounce the evils of truth and love...
James: To extend our reach to the stars above...
Jessie: Jessie...
James: James...
Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light...
James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
Meowth: Meowth, dat's right!
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet!
Chimecho: Chime! Chime!
Plucky: What brings you three losers back here? Here for another defeat?
James: Not this time, you clumsy duck.
Plucky:(Sarcasm)Such a good insult.
Jessie: Listen, that's none of your concern. We're following our Boss's orders.
Sora: When we're done with you three, your Boss will be next!
James the pulls a Pokeball out of his belt. He grabs the golden one by mistake.
James: You think so? You'll never defeat our Pokemon! Pokeball, GO!
He threw the Pokeball into the air and it pops out a Pokemon. Sora saw the Magikarp appear before him, as it flops on the floor. Jessie and Meowth smacks their foreheads, realizing James screwed up. Sora gently taps the fish with his Keyblade and it continues flopping on the floor. The trio starts laughing and even the audience starts to laugh.
Oxnard:(Laughs)That's the best they've got? That Team Rocket is such a laugh!
Pepper:(Laughs)Yeah! I was expecting a big scary monster and all we saw is a fish!
Harmony: Tee hee. Those three thugs are an even bigger laugh than Spat.
Team Rocket blushed in embarrassment. Jessie grabs James and shook him.
Jessie: I told you to get rid of that Pokemon! What kind of moron would hold onto a Magikarp?
James: Sorry, but it was a shiny Magikarp.
Sora stood up from laughing so hard and was ready to defeat the fish. All of a sudden, the fish began glowing a white color. Sora was confused as to what was happening? He turns to Prof. Oak, who also made a nervous look.
Sora: Prof. Oak, what's happening?
Oak: I was afraid of this. That Magikarp is evolving! You see, when a Pokemon reached a certain level, they change into a more powerful form!
Plucky:(Whimpers)I fear what the result is.
Magikarp began to transform. It's body became longer, like a snake-like creature. It rose over everyone, which caused a shadow. The creature reveals itself to be a dragon-like snake with a fin tail at the end. It has a shiny red color on it's scales. Team Rocket couldn't believe it. Magikarp wasn't worthless after all. Jessie and Meowth noticed James giving a "I showed you all" look.
James: See? I am smart! Bow before me!
Jessie and Meowth bows for James and kissed his feet. He laughs again with pride in his eyes. For once, he got respect from his group. Sora took out his Keyblade and got ready to face the creature.
Dizzy: What that?
May: That's a Gyarados! But it doesn't look like a normal one.
Ash: It's a rare Gyarados that are shiny red and much more powerful. Be very careful!
Sora: Don't worry! We'll beat him! Right, guys?
He then turns to see Plucky sneaking out of the arena. Sora turns to Dizzy and told him to get him. Dizzy ran off and grabs Plucky. He ran back to the middle of the arena, with Plucky grumbling all the way. The trio got ready to fight the giant beast.
James: Get those twerps!
Gyarados turns around, roars at Team Rocket, and knocks them down. The Pokemon has no control. Sora fears it might go on a rampage, so they have to stop it. The trio ran at Gyarados with full power. It slaps the trio with it's tail. The attack knocks them down the ground. Sora got onto his feet and ran at the creature. Gyarados uses it's Flamethrower on the trio, but they dodged it. It then creates a giant fire wall around them. They couldn't escape.
Sora: Oh no! We're surrounded by fire!
Dizzy tried to get out of the fire wall, but Plucky grabs him.
Plucky: Hold on! You're not immune to fire! Haven't I always taught you the importance of fire safety?
A flame from the fire lands on Plucky's tail, while Plucky is still scolding Dizzy. The Tasmanian Devil's eyes widened in fear.
Dizzy: Umm, Plucky-
Plucky: Don't interrupt! You gotta leave firefighting to the professionals!
Dizzy: But, Plucky-
Plucky: No buts! You always need to take safety precautions, when dealing with fire!
Dizzy: PLUCKY!
Plucky: What?
Sora: Your tail is on fire!
Plucky looks behind him and then looks back at Dizzy.
Plucky: Now, whenever your tail is on fire, you should-
He then gave a double look back at his tail and panics.
Plucky: MY TAIL'S ON FIRE!
Gyarados then use Hydro Pump on the trio, taking the flames out, and doing alot of damage. The trio ran back at the Gyarados. Sora uses the Sonic Blade on the Gyarados, Plucky uses Thundaga, while Dizzy uses Spin Attack. All three attacks hit Gyarados, doing alot of damage. The Thundaga did super effective damage on the Gyarados. Team Rocket are freaking out.
James: We need to help it out! Go, Chimecho!
James released Chimecho from the Pokeball.
Jessie: Go, Dustox!
Jessie released Dustox from the Pokeball. Dustox proceeds to fire Poison Sting at the trio, while Chimecho uses Uproar. Both attacks hit Team Sora, doing some damage. Gyarados then stood up and fires a Hyper Beam at the trio, doing alot of damage. Team Sora barely got up and are panting heavily.
Sora: We need...to be...careful with...those three Pokemon.
Plucky: Right! I'll take care of Chimecho. Sora will take care of Gyarados.
Dizzy: And Dizzy take care of Dustox.
The trio charges at the three Pokemon. Dustox uses Gust on Dizzy, sending strong winds at him, but Dizzy jumps up on Dustox and proceeds to punch and kick her. Chimecho uses Psychic on Plucky, lifting him up in the air, but Plucky uses Gravira on Chimecho, sending her back down to the ground. Sora uses the Stun Impact on Gyarados, striking it in the face, and dealing alot of damage to it.
James: NO! We're gonna lose again!
Meowth then took out a remote control.
Meowth: Not yet! One push of da button and dose three will be sent flying outta da ring!
Jessie: Then press the button, quick!
Sora uses Ragnarok on Gyarados, rapidly slashing the beast, and fires a bunch of energy spheres at it. Gyarados flew right into Team Rocket and knocks them down with it's body. The impact caused the remote to fly out of Meowth's hand and lands on the ground. Plucky and Dizzy then sent Dustox and Chimecho flying towards Team Rocket.
Meowth: NO! Our only chance of defeating da twerps slipped right outta my hand!
Jessie: I told you to press it sooner!
James: No matter. We can still defeat those twerps.
The Gyarados stood back up and took Team Rocket along for a ride. As Sora and Plucky made a run for it, Dizzy picks up the remote Meowth drops and looks at it. He noticed a shiny red button on it, He got excited and pressed the button. As the Gyarados approached the middle of the arena, an explosion occurs from the bomb that was underneath the arena. Everyone looks up to see Team Rocket along with the Gyarados flying away into space.
Ash: Ahh, I can never get enough of Team Rocket blasting off.
May: Me too. It never gets old.
Pikachu: Pika.
Team Rocket were high up in the sky and Jessie grabs James.
Jessie: This is all your fault! If you haven't been stupid, this whole thing wouldn't have happened!
James: I want my mommy!
Meowth: Relax, you two. Look at da bright side. At least We'll get a bigger part in da sequel. Maybe we'll team up with some spoiled rich brat dat da tiny twerps always fight.
Wobbuffet: Wobba!
They then noticed Gyarados roaring at them, as they screamed off into the distance.
Team Rocket: Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet!
Chimecho: Chime! Chime!
A star twinkles from where Team Rocket was sent flying to.
Referee: Team Rocket has left the ring! Team Sora is the winner!
The audience cheers for Team Sora's victory. Back at the seats, Cloud and Leon are sitting around, listening to the victory. Leon leans against his seat and smiles.
Leon: That kid impresses me every time. He's truly developed his powers quite fast. I'm looking forward to another bout with him.
He then looks at Cloud. He noticed a disturbance in his eyes. He could tell that the reason Cloud entered the arena was still bugging him.
Leon: Listen, I can't guarantee we will win. I know how much you want to-
Cloud: We must win. It's a nightmare that can't escape my mind. I must complete this task. For if I don't, it will haunt me.
He then turns to Leon.
Cloud: Don't get me wrong. Sora's a nice kid and all, but I can't let him get involved.
Leon: You're doing this for his sake, too?
Cloud nods.
Leon: I see. I should warn you that Sora is not one to back down from a challenge so easily.
Cloud: I know. But I have trained for this moment. I have practiced for days and nights. I am ready to face him again.
Announcer: Would Team Squall please report for their next match?
Leon: What? Team Squall?
He then smacks his forehead.
Leon: One of these days, you will pay, Yuffie.
Cloud laughs at the comment and left for the arena. Leon follows as well. After the break, Team Sora returns to the arena. Their next opponent is Opposite Armor and a few Darkballs. However, it was the same as last time. The armor spins it's body around at the group, who dodged the attack. It continues to spin it's hands like a giant circular saw. Sora dodged the attack. It then fires energy beams at them, but Sora deflects the attacks. It spins it's body around again, but Sora struck it's hands and feet with his Keyblade, causing them to disappear. Plucky and Dizzy finished off the remaining Darkballs and rejoins Sora.
Sora: Brings back memories, huh?
Dizzy: Sure does.
Plucky uses his Stopga to freeze the armor in it's place. This gave Sora and Dizzy the chance to finish it off. The armor got dents and scratches all over it from the assault. It got engulfed by a magnificent light and vanished completely.
Referee: Team Sora is the winner!
The audience cheers for Team Sora's victory, as they took a 10 minute break. After break time is over, they returned to the arena. Their next opponent is Team Tai. Tai and Matt walks up the arena with Agumon and Gabumon. The Digidestined and their Digimon cheers for them.
Girl Sora: Come on, Tai!
Biyomon: You can do it, Agumon!
Mimi: Let's go, Matt!
Palmon: Show them what you're made of, Gabumon!
Sora: So, I get to fight Tai and Matt next?
Tai: You got that right, Sora.
Matt: Last time we fought, we were only using our Ultimate Forms.
Tai: This time, we'll fight with Mega. Let's go, Agumon!
Tai and Matt's Digivices started glowing.
Agumon: Agumon Warp Digivolve to...WARGREYMON!
Gabumon: Gabumon Warp Digivolve to...METALGARURUMON!
Referee: Let the battle begin!
Sora takes care of Wargreymon, while Plucky and Dizzy takes care of Metalgarurumon. Wargreymon uses his Dramon Killers to clash with Sora's Keyblade, while Metalgarurumon uses his Grace Cross Freezer to fire ice missiles all over the arena, freezing everything. Plucky and Dizzy were slipping for a while, but then realizes that they can fly. They flew up the battlefield. Sora did the same thing. Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon soon follows. Metalgarurumon fires his Garuru Tomahawk at Plucky and Dizzy, but Plucky fires Firaga to counter the missile. The two attacks collided, causing an explosion. Dizzy proceeds to headbutt Metalgarurumon, sending him back down on the ground. Wargreymon uses Brave Tornado, spinning his body in a fiery tornado against Sora, but Sora blocks it and sends him back to the ground. Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon got up.
Wargreymon: How did these guys become so strong?
Metalgarurumon: I don't know. But we can't give up.
Wargreymon: We must unleash our ultimate attacks.
Wargreymon uses his Terra Force and Metalgarurumon uses Ice Wolf Claw. Both of these attacks hit the area where Team Sora was at, causing a giant explosion.
Wargreymon: We did it!
When the smoke disappears, Team Sora was nowhere in sight.
Metalgarurumon What? Where are they?
?: Right up here!
They both looked up to see Team Sora above them. Plucky uses Thundaga on Metalgarurumon, sending him back down to the ground, while Dizzy headbutts him again. Sora uses the Ars Arcanum, delivering a powerful slashing combo at Wargreymon and sending him back to Metalgarurumon. Both Digimon reverts back to their Rookie Forms and got knocked out.
Referee: Team Sora is the winner!
Sora walks up to Tai and Matt.
Sora: You guys did great.
Tai: You did great too, Sora.
Matt: We really underestimated you.
Sora: I just happen to be a much stronger fighter.
Tai: Maybe next time, when we got alot stronger, we'll have a rematch.
Sora: Sounds good to me.
Sora and Tai shook hands and took a 10 minute break. After the break is over, Team Sora returns to the arena. Their next opponent is Team Kirby. Kirby, T.K., and Patamon enters the arena.
Yoshi: Go, Sora and Kirby!
Tiff & Tuff: Come on, Kirby!
Gatomon: Go, T.K. and Patamon!
Sora: So, Kirby and T.K. are up next?
Kirby: Sora...rematch...with Kirby.
T.K.: I'm looking forward to this battle. Let's go, Patamon!
T.K.'s Digivice starts glowing. Patamon Digivolves to MagnaAngemon.
T.K.: MagnaAngemon is only Ultimate Level, but he's strong enough to take on Megas.
Sora: I'm looking forward to it.
Kirby pulls out his Warpstar, throws it up the air, and inhales it. After swallowing the Warpstar, Kirby has the Star Rod on his hand.
Plucky: Is that what I think it is?
Meta-Knight: After swallowing the Warpstar, Kirby can create a Star Rod.
Sora: Well, let's get ready, guys!
Referee: Let the battle begin!
Plucky and Dizzy takes on Kirby, while Sora takes on MagnaAngemon. Sora and MagnaAngemon are clashing Keyblade with Excalibur. Sora could feel the strength of MagnaAngemon with each clash. Kirby fires a bunch of stars against Plucky and Dizzy, but Plucky uses Blizzaga to freeze each star. Dizzy then use the ice blocks to kick them back at Kirby, who took a hit from some of them. Kirby then starts firing a massive beam from the Star Rod and it hits the two toons, doing some major damage. Sora is getting exhausted from fighting MagnaAngemon. He then delivers one powerful slice, knocking Sora back to Plucky and Dizzy.
Sora: Man, these guys are powerful.
MagnaAngemon: Now I shall finish this fight. GATE OF DESTINY!
MagnaAngemon creates a giant circular door, which opens and begins sucking the trio. Sora manages to slam his Keyblade to the ground, with Plucky and Dizzy holding onto him. Kirby proceeds to fire a few stars at them, but Plucky uses Stopga to freeze time. Sora took his Keyblade off the ground and the trio manages to escape. They went behind MagnaAngemon. When time returns to normal, the door closed without sucking anyone in. MagnaAngemon reverts back to his Rookie Form exhausted. T.K. ran up to Patamon.
T.K.: Patamon! Are you OK?
Patamon: I'm sorry, T.K. That last attack took alot from me.
Sora: Now, all that's left is Kirby.
Sora and Plucky fires Firaga and Blizzaga at Kirby, doing some damage to him. Dizzy proceeds to finish off Kirby with a Spin Attack, knocking him out.
Referee: Team Sora is the winner!
Sora walks up to Kirby and T.K.
Sora: That was a tough battle.
T.K.: I'm surprised you manage to survive MagnaAngemon's Gate of Destiny.
Patamon: Normally, it would mean the end of my opponents.
Plucky: Well, thanks to my ingenuity, we've managed to escape that attack.
Kirby then walks up to Sora.
Kirby: Sora...Kirby...friends.
Sora and Kirby shakes hands. Dizzy and Yoshi walks up to the two.
Dizzy: Dizzy friends with Kirby, too.
Yoshi: Yoshi friends with Dizzy and Kirby, too.
Dizzy, Yoshi, and Kirby gave a group hug. The group took a 20 minute break. During the break, they were talking to Ash, May, Cloud, Leon, and the Ham-Hams.
Lapis: You were incredible, Sora!
Lazuli: Team Sora, great team!
Panda: I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.
Sora: Thanks again, guys.
Leon: Guess who you will be fighting next.
Plucky: Who's that we're fighting?
Cloud: You'll be fighting me and Leon.
Plucky looks nervous at fighting the two.
Plucky:(Whimpers)We have to face the both of you? Oh, I can't go on.
Plucky was about to faint, when Dizzy caught him.
Dizzy: Relax, Plucky. You just big worrywart.
Plucky: I'm not a worrywart.
Sora: Well, I guess you weren't kidding, when you said you would team up with Cloud.
Leon: He's an old friend. Plus, I wanted to fight you one more time. This may be the last time we get to fight, Sora. I wanna give it all we got.
Sora: So, I guess you come from Hollow Bastion, too.
Cloud: Correct. But as I said...I've been preparing for this rematch. You three won't win this time. Especially with an old friend on my team.
Sora: We'll see about that.
May: If you're lucky to beat them, you may have to face me or Ash next.
Ash: And next time, I'll be using my star team. You better prepare by then.
Oak: I think you guys better return to the arena soon.
Team Sora and Team Squall all walked to the arena.
