Chapter 48: Sora's Triple Trouble
The next morning, Sora was still in bed. Dizzy walks into Sora's room, jumps on his bed, and starts licking him. Sora felt the wetness on his cheek and smiles. He thought it was Kairi kissing him.
Sora: Kairi!
Dizzy looks at Sora with an awkward look. He began to lick Sora's face rapidly. Sora slowly opens his eyes and looks to see Dizzy. He screams and fell out of his bed. Dizzy starts to laugh.
Dizzy: Sora fall down and go boom!
Sora stood up and rubs his head.
Sora: Dizzy! Have you ever heard of knocking?
Sora felt deja vu, as he remembers when Dizzy first did that to him. It brought back more good times he spent with the Tasmanian Devil. Sora knew that out of all the friends he met, he would miss his buddy from down under. Sora sat back in bed and Dizzy jumps onto it.
Dizzy: Turn on T.V., Sora! We on it!
Sora: We are?
Dizzy nods. Sora then shouts out the door.
Sora: PLUCKY! Come here! Dizzy says we're on T.V.!
Plucky ran into the room and sat on the bed.
Plucky: You mean my handsome face is on the screen?
Sora: Yeah, on the latest episode of Tiny Toons.
Dizzy: The one where Plucky falls down the stair? Or when Plucky's pants fall down? Or when the baseball hits-
Plucky: ALRIGHT, SHUT UP! I get the point! Turn it on, Sora!
Sora picks up the remote and turns on the T.V. The screen shows a man wearing a business suit, with blonde hair and glasses. He was sitting at a news desk.
Man: Yesterday, the leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni, has lost his battle at the hands of three competitors.
The screen then shows Team Sora celebrating their victory.
Man: These three are the real stars of this story. They have been dominating the past four special tournaments. Their brave actions helped saved hundreds and hundreds of Pokemon lives.
Dizzy waves at the screen upon seeing himself.
Dizzy: Hi, Dizzy!
The screen changes to Prof. Oak, who was being interviewed. Behind him are Ash and May.
Oak: I'm very proud of those boys.
In the background, Pikachu was making faces, even stretching his face out. The Professor quickly turns back to see Pikachu, who made an innocent look. He then turns back, not aware that Pikachu was making faces again.
Oak: From the moment I saw those three, I knew then and there, that they would be the ones to go the distance.
Plucky: Liar!
Oak: They have alot of potential and I know they can do it.
The person with the microphone turns to Ash.
Reporter: Would you like anything to say, young man?
Ash: Sure. Hi, mom!
?: Hi, sweetie!
Ash turns to see a woman with red hair in a ponytail, wears a pink shirt, and a blue skirt.
Ash: Mom, what are you doing here?
Ash's mom came to see that May was right next to her son.
Ash's mom: I see that you got yourself a girlfriend, dear.
Both Ash and May blushed from that comment.
Ash:(Blushing)Mom, you're humiliating me on national T.V.!
Ash's mom: Oh, honey. I knew my little Ash would become a star.
She then took off his hat and brushed his hair.
Ash's mom: Fix your hair, honey. It's all messed up.
Ash continues blushing, while Pikachu continues making faces. Oak smacks his forehead in frustration. Sora shuts off the T.V., as he dried his tears from laughing so hard.
Sora: Wow. I didn't know being famous was tough.
Dizzy: It true. Camera does add ten pounds.
Sora looks over at the clock and noticed it was already a quarter pass nine. He jumps out of bed and turns to his group.
Sora: Guys, we need to get rolling! The final round starts at ten and we need to eat!
Elder-Ham: Agreed. There is a buffet not too far from here.
Plucky: We can't.
Sora: Why not? Come on, man! All you can eat?
Plucky: Kid, realize the horrors of placing Dizzy in an all you can eat buffet.
Sora: But we were OK in the food court.
Plucky: That's different. If we go to a buffet, Dizzy will eat everything.
Sora: Oh, I guess I forgot about that. We'll go back to the food court then.
The gang left the hotel and went back to the food court in the stadium. They ordered their breakfast there. Sora was having bacon and sausages with scrambled eggs, Plucky was having an omurice, and Dizzy was having chilaquiles with fried eggs. After they had their breakfast, they head towards the lobby. Upon arrival, tons of news reporters surrounded them. They began snapping pictures at the group, causing flashes to appear before their eyes. A group of people tried to get interviews with the group. Plucky was about to say something, but Sora quickly grabs his arm. The three ran in every direction, but to their dismay, couldn't find a way out. Plucky figures out what to do and uses his Stopga to freeze everyone in their place.
Sora: Plucky!
Plucky: What? It was the only thing I could think of. Come on! Let's run, while we've got the chance.
The three made haste into the lobby. The reporters came to look around to notice that they were gone. Sora's group arrives back to the lobby, where Ash, May, and Prof. Oak were waiting.
Oak: So, you've come. You three need to get ready. The last match is about to begin.
Sora: Come on, guys! We need to get ready!
Howdy: Before you guys go, wanna hear a good joke?
Dexter: Howdy, your jokes are always awful.
Howdy: But this one will be a really good one.
He then clears his throat.
Howdy: Why did the Ham-Ham cross the road?
Dexter: I've got a bad feeling about this.
Howdy: To get to the other seed!
He laughs, while everyone sweatdrops.
Dexter: We would like to get to the other side. The other side away from your jokes.
Sora: Well, we better get back to the arena.
The trio made their way to the arena, while everyone else returns to their seats. Team Sora returns to the arena, with tons of cheering fans greeting them.
Plucky: You go ahead. I'll just lay here and count the pretty stars in the sky.
Sora: Dude, this is it. We win this and we'll be the champs of the entire tournament.
Plucky: Fine, but if the opponent is over ten feet tall, then you can count me out.
The trio prepares for their final match-up. The group didn't see anything at first, but then they hear a rumble. The rumble just keeps getting louder and louder, until they see three giant creatures. One is a giant red dinosaur-like creature with a rocky hard body. One is a blue whale-like creature with two giant fins that look like wings. The last one was a long and thin green dragon. Plucky felt his knees trembling upon seeing the three giant creatures.
Plucky:(Whimpers)Over ten feet. Send me a post card in the next year.
He tried to run, but Sora and Dizzy pulls him back. Sora turns to Prof. Oak, who was in shock.
Sora: Professor, what are those Pokemon?
Oak: The red one is Groudon, the blue one is Kyogre, and the green one is Rayquaza. They are Legendary Pokemon.
Sora: Legendary Pokemon?
Cyndaquil: They are some of the most powerful Pokemon to have ever roam a world.
Chikorita: They look similar to the three Legendary Pokemon we fought before in our world.
Totodile: Except I highly doubt those ones could speak in human language, unlike the ones back in our world.
Plucky looks up at the legendary trio and gulps with fear.
Plucky: Listen, how about we make a deal? You don't pound us and eat us for a week, I'll give you all the food you can eat.
Groudon took one giant step towards Plucky.
Plucky: Umm, 30 hours?
It took one more step forward.
Plucky: How about five minutes worth?
The Pokemon brought it's foot down on Plucky, who quickly jumps out of the way. Sora rolls his eyes and Dizzy giggles at Plucky's crazy antics.
Sora: Plucky, bribery isn't the way to go there. Besides, I don't think they can understand what you were saying. Come on! We can do this!
The trio charges at the legendary trio, who looks down at them. First, they took care of Groudon. It uses Earthquake by stomping it's feet on the ground, causing the whole stadium to shake. The trio fell onto the floor. It then proceeds to use Flamethrower on the trio, doing alot of damage to them. The trio got up and prepares to attack the creature. Sora slashed the creature's leg with his Keyblade, but it did no damage. Plucky uses Blizzaga on the legs, but it still did no damage. Dizzy attempts to headbutt it's leg, but it hurts his head in the process.
Sora: Man, how are we ever going to beat Godzilla here?
Cyndaquil: Sora, try to go for the eyes!
Sora turns to Cyndaquil.
Sora: Really?
Chikorita: It should do some damage to it.
Totodile: But you need to get up there first.
Sora: I got it! Thanks, Go-Getters.
Sora flew up to the head of Groudon and fires Blizzaga in the left eye. It caused enormous pain to the creature. It's eyes are more vulnerable than the rest of it's body. It fires it's Flamethrower all over the air, but it missed every time. Sora told Plucky and Dizzy to go for the eyes. He fires another Blizzaga on the right eye. It dealt more pain to the creature and made it fell down to the floor.
Sora: That's one down. Two more to go.
The trio then focused on Kyogre. Plucky uses Thundaga, but the creature shrugs it off. It counters with an Ice Beam, freezing Plucky in an ice block. Dizzy tried punching and kicking it, but it did no damage. The creature counters with a Hydro Pump, knocking Dizzy back to the ground. Sora uses Firaga on the creature's left eye, making it roar in pain. It fires another Ice Beam, but it hits the ground instead. Sora uses another Firaga on it's right eye. It blinds the creature and made it crash down on the ground, right on top of Groudon.
Sora: That's two down. One more to go.
Sora flew back down and thaws Plucky out of the ice block. The trio flew up to Rayquaza. Sora attempts to fly up on the dragon's eye, but the dragon uses Dragon Claw to slash Sora away. Plucky uses Graviga on the dragon, but it had no effect. Dizzy uses his Spin Attack in the air, but the dragon counters with Extremespeed, moving even faster than Quick Attack, and hitting Dizzy. Rayquaza then use Dragon Pulse, which it fires an energy ball, and hits Plucky. The trio fell back down to the ground. The trio slowly got back up.
Sora: Man, that thing must've known our strategy.
Plucky: It saw what happened to it's two companions and decided to react to our every move.
Dizzy: We need to distract it with diversion.
Sora: That's it! You two will distract it, while I go for the eyes.
The trio flew back up to the air to fight Rayquaza again. Plucky uses Thundaga, which did no damage to the dragon, but he must be planning something. Dizzy just sticks his tongue out at the dragon, which made it angry and attacks him with Dragon Claw, but he dodged everyone of it's claws. Sora flew up to the dragon's left eye and hits it with Blizzaga, making the dragon roar in pain. It fires Dragon Pulse all over the place, but hits nothing. Sora quickly flew to the right eye and fires another Blizzaga. It blinds the dragon and made it fell right on top of Groudon and Kyogre.
Referee: Team Rayquaza is unable to battle! Team Sora is the winner!
The stadium roars into the loudest cheers ever heard. People began celebrating with excitement and cheers for the trio. Ash, May, Prof. Oak, Ham-Hams, and all of Sora's other friends jumped for joy.
Ash: They did it! They did it!
May: They're the best team ever!
Pikachu: Pi Pikachu!
Sora ran over and embraced Plucky and Dizzy. He felt so proud for winning the tournament. All of their Summon friends all ran over to embrace them, too. Celebrating an amazing victory with his friends was all he needed right now.
Dizzy: WE THE CHAMPS!
Plucky:(Singing)We are the champions, my friends.
Sora: Got that right!
The trio stood on top of the stands, holding a giant blue trophy with a Pokeball on it. All of his friends, from Plucky and Dizzy, to the Summons, to the heroes from other worlds stood besides him. Prof. Oak steps forward and spoke into the microphone.
Oak: I would like to congratulate all of you, who fought in the tournament, regardless of who or what you are. You all fought your hardest, but in the end, only one team survived, and they were lead by this remarkable young man right here.
He then points towards Sora. The audience went wild upon seeing him.
Oak: His leadership and determination was an important factor in this battle. But his friends was what really made the difference.
Plucky and Dizzy waves at the audience, hearing the loudest cheers and hoots. Ash took over for the Professor, who went and sit down.
Ash: Sora and his friends really showed the value of teamwork in this fight. I think that's a lesson we should all learn. We can't do it alone. We need to support each other throughout our journeys. Pokemon Trainers could learn a few things from this advice. I say this to you as a Pokemon Trainer and a friend. Remember, work together as one to accomplish great things. I know these guys sure have. Let's hear it for them.
The audience roars into cheers again and Plucky proudly steps forward. However, he took too big a step and fell down the stairs, crashing into the ground. Everyone starts laughing at this, while Plucky blushed in embarrassment. Sora and Dizzy jumps down to join their friend. Oak walks over to Sora's group with the microphone.
Oak: Now, Sora. You have an important decision to make. You can risk your championship by entering the two special cups of the tournament. But only you can enter it.
Sora: Why only me?
Oak: These matches were designed for one-on-one matches only. The two we chose were some of the most powerful, undefeated beings in our time. The judges had to choose between who was the strongest link and the weakest link of you three for who was going to get the chance to fight them.
Plucky: I'm the weakest link. Good-bye.
He turns to leave.
Sora & Dizzy: PLUCKY!
Plucky walks back to the group, laughing nervously at the boys.
Oak: Obviously, Sora ended up being the strongest of them all. It's up to you now.
Sora thought about his choice carefully. Sure it would be fun to take on the most powerful warriors in the galaxy, but he didn't want to do it without his friends. The audience shouts to Sora, telling him to go all the way. Sora looks to Plucky and Dizzy, who nods with a smile. Sora knew that they may not be able to help him, but they would cheer him on. Sora turns back to Oak with a confident look.
Sora: I'll do it!
The audience cheers again, feeling excited to see a truly fantastic brawl. Well, except Cloud, who was worried about this. A few minutes have passed since Sora's announcement and the trio were hanging out in the lobby. Dizzy looks up at Sora and smiles.
Dizzy: Sora gonna do great. He gonna win this thing. And remember, we there in spirit.
Sora: Thanks! I can do this! I just gotta believe!
Plucky: Yeah, never give up! You can do it!
Elder-Ham: Come on! The match is about to start!
Plucky and Dizzy nods to each other and follows the group back to the arena. Sora went up to the arena, waiting for his opponent to enter the arena. He felt excited and a little nervous. He then looks to see Plucky and Dizzy taking their seats. Dizzy and Plucky cheers and claps for Sora. They rose his confidence and he stood ready to fight. Sora could feel his heartbeat, even hear it a little bit. He knew that it wasn't gonna be an easy match, but he needs to push himself, so that he would be ready for his duel against Ansem.
Announcer: May the opponent enter the ring!
Sora took his Keyblade out, ready to face the opponent. A blue pillar of light hit the sky, causing everyone to look up. They noticed someone or something descending from the sky. Descending from the sky was a tall cat-like creature. It had pale white skin, bony arms, shoulders, and three fingers on it's paw. It has a giant purple tail that was as tall as a baseball bat. It has giant rabbit like feet with a round ball part in it's ankle. The creature lands on the ground, startling everyone in amazement. Sora never encountered a Pokemon quite like that, yet it looks familiar to him. Ash, Brock, and Team Go-Getters instantly recognized the Pokemon.
Sora: Frieza?
Creature: I am not Frieza. I am Mewtwo.
Everyone jumps upon hearing it talk. It was talking to them in their minds.
Oak: Incredible! This Pokemon is able to speak to us through it's mind. It must have incredible psychic powers.
Ash: That's Mewtwo, Professor. I've met him in the Johto region. Me and my friends have protected him from Team Rocket.
Cyndaquil: He looks like the Mewtwo me and my friends fought in Western Cave.
Chikorita: Mewtwo was one of the most powerful Pokemon we've ever faced.
Totodile: It took the combined powers of me, Cyndaquil, and Chikorita to defeat him.
Brock: I wonder if he's one of the challengers that Sora has to face.
Mewtwo: I congratulate you on making it this far, Keyblade Master. Now, I wanna see if you are worthy of facing me, one of the most powerful Pokemon in the world.
Sora: One of the most powerful Pokemon, huh? This should be a fun battle.
Referee: Let the battle begin!
The battle starts with Sora charging at Mewtwo. Mewtwo uses Barrier to create a blue energy sphere around him, protecting him from damage. He then use Psychic to send Sora back from him. He then fires Shadow Balls, creating dark energy balls to throw around the battlefield. Sora took alot of damage from the attacks. Sora uses Aeroga to create a gust of protective wind around him, but was shocked to see the Shadow Ball doubled in size. The ball hits Sora, sending him back.
Mewtwo: Your pitiful magic won't stand a chance against me.
Sora: OK! New plan!
Sora flew back at Mewtwo, holding the handle of his Keyblade with both hands. Mewtwo uses his Psychic again to try and take control of Sora, but something was wrong. He couldn't gain control of the boy. Sora quickly uses Sonic Blade on Mewtwo, dealing alot of damage, and sending him down to the ground. Mewtwo stood back up, but was still in shock.
Mewtwo: My Psychic attacks aren't having any affect on this child. No one can repel my Psychic powers.
Sora flew back down at Mewtwo again and tried to slash him, but Mewtwo teleports away and reappears behind Sora. He then hits Sora with his own tail. Sora lands back on the ground with bruises around his body. He slowly got back up and turns back to Mewtwo. Mewtwo fires another Shadow Ball at him, but Sora deflects it with his Keyblade and sent it back at Mewtwo, doing some damage to him.
Mewtwo: I've underestimated this kid's power. I must finish this.
Mewtwo surrounds himself with Barrier and charges at Sora. Sora tried to block Mewtwo's attack, but he got hit and was sent flying into the sky. Mewtwo charges at Sora with high speed, ramming him a bunch of times. He then rams Sora back to the ground and proceeds to fire a blue Hyper Beam down in the ground, creating a huge explosion. Everyone gasped in horror, especially Plucky, Dizzy, Elder-Ham, Sweetie, Sneezer, and the rest of Sora's friends.
Everyone: SORA!
Mewtwo: No one can defeat the perfect Pokemon. Not even a human like him. I am the most powerful Pokemon in the world. No one can defeat me.
?: GUESS AGAIN!
Mewtwo's eyes widened in fear, as he looks down at the dust. When the dust clears, it reveals Sora still standing. He grips the handle of his Keyblade, as the audience cheers for him. Mewtwo couldn't believe his eyes.
Mewtwo: That's Impossible! How could you survive my ultimate attack?
Sora: I told you before, I have my friends with me. My power is far stronger than you'd expect. I also have confidence in myself as well. As long as I have all of that, I cant lose.
Mewtwo then laughs.
Mewtwo: You have spoken wise words, Keyblade Master. I'm not surprised that you have won the tournament. Now I'll show you my true power.
Mewtwo then fires a bunch of Shadow Balls at Sora. He deflects all of them with his Keyblade, sending them back at Mewtwo, dealing alot of damage. Mewtwo fell back down on the ground. Sora proceeds to finish him off with Ragnarok, delivering a slashing combo at him, and firing a bunch of energy spheres at him. Mewtwo was panting heavily.
Mewtwo: I have...truly...underestimated you...Keyblade Master.
He then collapsed on the ground.
Referee: Mewtwo is unable to battle! Sora wins the Gold Match!
The audience roars into cheers and applause. Ash, May, and the others all cheered with excitement as well. Sora waves to the audience, smiling all the way. Mewtwo stood up, which caused the audience to gasp. Mewtwo walks over to Sora, who felt a bit nervous. Mewtwo then looks down at Sora with a smile.
Mewtwo: You truly are a great Keyblade Master. I'm glad I had this chance to fight you.
He puts his hand out to Sora. Sora shook Mewtwo's hand. The audience cheers again.
Sora: You truly are the strongest Pokemon I've ever met.
Mewtwo: Wait until you meet Arceus. I heard that he's even more powerful than me. I hope that we can have a rematch one day.
Sora: It's a promise. I hope we meet you again too.
Mewtwo hands Sora a Keychain called the Psychic Might. It looks like some kind of black Pokeball with a red center. He puts it on and the Keyblade changes shape again. It now looks like the tail of Mewtwo curled in one side.
Mewtwo: Be careful in the next match, Sora. Your next opponent is even stronger than I am.
He then flew off. Sora waves good-bye to his new friend, as he took off into the distance. Sora took a 20 minute break to get ready for his final match. Cloud walks up to Sora to talk to him.
Cloud: Good job, kid. You did well out there.
Sora: Cloud, who am I facing next? Mewtwo said that my next opponent is even stronger than him.
Cloud: His name is Sephiroth. He is a danger to all. His sword skills are far superior than any other person I know. It's basically death for anyone who challenges him. I heard about him entering the tournament. That's why I needed to win.
Plucky: Kid, I think you should reconsider fighting.
Sora thought about it for a moment. He then smiles at Plucky.
Sora: Don't worry, Plucky. I'm not afraid of him. I can take him with one hand tied behind my back.
Cloud: You fool! No one has ever been able to defeat him! His sword skills will rip you to shreds! I should have faced him!
Sora: I beat you two times. I think I can handle this.
Ash: He does have a point. You wouldn't even stand a chance.
Cloud got furious upon hearing that. He couldn't believe what everyone was saying to him. They were going to let Sora face that madman. He knew it was pointless to argue.
Cloud: FINE! Get yourself killed if you want! Your overconfidence will be your downfall!
He angrily walks out into the arena, leaving Sora a bit disappointed. He couldn't believe what Cloud was saying. Give up after coming this far? He didn't think so. Sora hears the PTA call his name and he left for the arena. Dizzy began to feel a little worried about Sora fighting this Sephiroth guy. Plucky puts his hand on Dizzy's shoulder to comfort him.
Plucky: Hey, Sora can deal with anyone! I know he can handle this!
Dizzy: Plucky right. Let go!
The group ran out to their seats. Sora returns to the arena, getting ready for this big match. Sora saw his friends take their seats, including Cloud, who decided to watch and be supportive. Sora felt the tension in his body, as he knew this would be an intense battle. Suddenly, a bright light appears in the sky, forming into a giant blue ball. The ball then erupts, turning into a giant display of patterns in the sky.
Three small balls floats around the area in the patterns. The three then fired blue beams at each other, causing a giant blue light to hit the ground. Sora shields his eyes from the intense light that appeared on the arena. It was in form of a giant ball, which fades after a few seconds. Sora began to see a figure appear from within the faded light. The figure wore black leather clothing with red marks on the edge of them, long silver hair, black boots, and a giant black wing on his back. This was obviously Sephiroth.
Plucky: What's with the bad guys and long white hair? Riku had it, Ansem had it, and now, this guy has it. You'd think they were related or something.
Elder-Ham: Do you think Sora can win?
Cloud: One thing I'll admit, this kid has guts. Anyone who would come face to face with the one-winged angel would run in fear, but not him. Either he is very brave, or very foolish. His chance of actually defeating Sephiroth is slim. I do give him my full support, though. He defeated me, so he may have an edge.
Dizzy: Go, Sora!
Sephiroth slowly stood up and stretched out his arms. He then turns to see Sora with his Keyblade in hand. Sephiroth looks at him, as if Sora was nothing.
Sephiroth: I traveled across the world to meet a worthy adversary and yet, I found a boy.
Sora: What's that suppose to mean?
Sephiroth: I should be facing mighty warriors, not some kid with a giant key.
He then noticed Cloud in the audience. The two gave each other deadly stares for a few seconds. He then turns back to Sora.
Sephiroth: I'll worry about that later. Why don't you leave now and I'll spare you?
Sora: Forget it! I came here to fight and I don't attend to quit now!
Sephiroth: Impressive. Not alot of people would try to fight me. I guess it would be fun to toy with you for a little while.
Sora: By the end of this fight, you'll be on the floor, crying like a baby!
Sephiroth just starts laughing at Sora's ridiculous words.
Sephiroth: You humor me, boy. You should be a comedian. Prepare to enter a nightmare world. In this world, you can't escape the darkness and fear will grasp your mind.
Sora: You don't scare me! Let's just fight already!
Sephiroth: As you wish.
The man puts his hand on his sword and that rested on his sheath. Sora's heart began to pound, feeling both nervous and excited. Everyone noticed how long his sheath was and gasped. It extends about twelve feet back.
Plucky: Please tell me that the sword in there is only about a foot long.
Ash: Wow! I've never seen a sword that big.
Elder-Ham: Be careful, Sora!
Announcer: Let the battle begin!
Sora charges at Sephiroth, who teleports away. He reappears right behind Sora and slashed him from behind. Sora quickly turns around and threw his Keyblade at the man, who teleports again. He reappears behind Sora and slashed him again. Sora turns around and gave a hard thrust at Sephiroth, who dodged the attack again. He then knees Sora in the stomach, grabs his arm, and threw him across the arena.
Everyone watched, as their friend was getting thrashed by this man. Sora stood up again, panting with exhaustion from the damage. Sephiroth teleports again, but this time, Sora jumps up and dodged the attack. He quickly slashed at Sephiroth, pushing him back a little. He quickly retaliates and slashed Sora aside. Sora bent over, feeling weak. He then use Curaga to heal himself. Sephiroth began to get annoyed by the boy's power. He wasn't gonna let the kid get the best of him.
Sephiroth: I guess I misjudged you. But I've only begun to fight. Now, prepare to be sent into oblivion.
Sephiroth's hands began to glow a red color and then a whole mixture of color. Cloud's eyes widens in surprise. He knew what the swordsman was planning.
Sephiroth: Descend, Heartless Angel!
Sora then noticed a red halo above his head. It then zaps him, causing him to scream in pain. He felt like his energy was getting sucked up. Sora then fell down, feeling like his muscles have collapsed. He couldn't move, because he was so tired.
Sora: What did you do?
Sephiroth: A curse if you will. When I cast Heartless Angel, I zap your will, your energy.
Ash: That means Sora can't even fight back.
May: We didn't even see that coming.
Sephiroth: Prepare for the end.
As Sephiroth charges at Sora, He knew that it was over. He felt defeated, knowing he has failed to save the world. He then hears Riku's voice.
Riku: Hey, Sora! Don't let a push over get the best of you.
Sora: Riku?
Riku: Allow me to add my power to yours. I'm always here to help an old friend.
Sora then looks to see his Keyblade glow. He felt his strength restored and felt stronger than ever. Sephiroth brought his sword down, but Sora blocks it with his Keyblade. Sephiroth was in complete shock.
Sephiroth: This can't be! No one can recover from that attack!
Sora pushed Sephiroth into the sky. He flew towards him, they clashed their blades together, and caused electricity to flow out of the attack. Sephiroth swung his sword at Sora, who blocks the attacks. Sephiroth disappears and reappears behind Sora. He tried to swipe at the boy, but he quickly moved away and brought his Keyblade down on the sword. Sephiroth pushed the Keyblade back up and slashed Sora in the stomach. Sora spun around and counters with a slash in the back. Sephiroth began to fall down and Sora tackled him, sending them both into the ground. the ground splits into two the the intense blow. Prof. Oak freaks out.
Oak: Oh no! A thousand dollars worth of damage!
The two reappears and jumps into the sky. Sephiroth swipes at Sora, who dodged and counters with Sonic Blade, dashing at Sephiroth and doing some damage. He then jumps onto Sephiroth's shoulders and jumps into the air. He hammers the man into the ground, sending him back down. Sephiroth soon got back up and flew at Sora again. Sephiroth was now trying against the boy. He never met anyone besides Cloud to make him break a sweat. The two clashed at each other again and dashed back. Sephiroth then began to glow with a bluish color.
Sephiroth: NOW, I SHALL SEND YOU TO THE PROMISED LAND!
Sora: I don't like the sound of that.
Sora then notice giant meteors appearing from the sky. He quickly moves around and dodged them. Sora then looks up to see Sephiroth holding a giant blue energy sphere. He fires the energy sphere at Sora, who flew out of the way. The beam explodes, causing the entire arena to be engulfed by a giant light. After the lights dims, the arena was revealed to be completely destroyed. Plucky panics upon seeing this.
Plucky: HOLY DUCKTALES! That guy had the power to destroy an entire world!
Cloud: At least no one got hurt.
The group looks up to see both Sora and Sephiroth still clashing. Sora stood ready with his Keyblade, gripping the handles tightly. He pulls all the strength he had for one final attack. He uses Ragnarok, delivering a series of slashing combos on Sephiroth, before finishing the attack by firing a bunch of energy spheres. Before the energy spheres landed, Sephiroth came charging at Sora, result in a massive explosion which engulfs the sky.
