Chapter 50: The Final Battle Part 1
The Gummi Ship is flying through a dark region of space. Dark waves of energy are affecting the ship. The waves were harsh and was actually tilting the ship. The group was being tossed all over their seats. The impact was so strong that their seat belts broke and they were dragged across the floor.
Sora: Sweetie, what's happening?
Sweetie: The storm is too powerful. I don't know how much longer we could last.
The two then looks out the window to see a world they were approaching. The world is a dark world, which has rubble and dark portals.
Sneezer: I think that's the world we're heading for.
All of a sudden, a lightning bolt blasted a wing off the ship. The blast was so strong that the wing fell off, causing the ship to spin out of control. Everyone screams, as they were spinning to their doom.
Sora: This is not good!
Sweetie: Hold on tight, everybody!
The Gummi Ship crash-landed on the world, knocking everyone out.
World: End of the World
An hour has passed after the Gummi Ship landed on the world. Everyone got up with headaches.
Sora: OW! my head.
Plucky: Is everyone alright?
Elder-Ham: We're fine, Plucky. But we have no way to return to any other worlds now.
Sora: Well, this is our final destination. When we beat Ansem, it will all end here.
Sweetie: Me and Sneezer will try to fix the Gummi Ship. You guys be careful.
Dizzy: We will. Don't worry.
While Sweetie and Sneezer stays behind, fixing the Gummi Ship, the trio enters a small cave. At the end of it, they saw a light and got out. Upon exiting the cave, they came across a world with a water-like surface. They are all small islands with treasure chests all over the world. The trio knew that this wasn't an ordinary world. This world was in fact created by the Heartless.
Dizzy: So, this is all that left of the worlds taken by the Heartless?
Sora: If we defeat Ansem, then those worlds will become restored, right?
Plucky: Of course! The darkness should disappear and the worlds will be restored.
Elder-Ham: Indeed. All those hearts that were lost by darkness should return, too.
Sora: If we do defeat Ansem and the worlds become restored and disconnected, what would happen to this place? What would happen to us?
Plucky: Why that's easy. It's...umm...
Sora: Got any answers, Mr. Know-it-all?
Plucky: Yeah, and that is...I'll tell you next week.
Sora smacks his head in frustration. Dizzy thinks about it, too. Then he may have found an answer.
Dizzy: This Heartless world, right? Maybe it just disappear.
Sora, Plucky, and Elder-Ham turns to Dizzy.
Dizzy: But we no worry, because even if place go bye-bye, our hearts not go anywhere. We find our pals again. Dizzy feel it in his gut.
Sora: You're right, Dizzy. We shouldn't worry at all.
Plucky: I knew that. You beat me to the punch, Dizzy.
Sora chuckles and went through his pocket. He pulls the charm that Kairi gave him. He made a promise to her. A promise that he would never break.
Sora: Kairi, when this is all over, I'll return this to you. I promise.
Plucky: We may not come out of this alive. But for old times sake, let's make the promise we made, when we first met.
Dizzy placed his hand on top of Plucky's shoulder and Sora placed his hand on top of Dizzy's.
Sora: All for one and one for all.
Dizzy: Together we stand...
Plucky: Together we fall.
The group released their hands and turns back to the area. Sora released all of his Summons and they split into three groups. One group consisted of Sora, Cyndaquil, and Hiei. The other group consisted of Plucky, Totodile, Gohan, and Yoshi. The last group consisted of Dizzy, Chikorita, Gatomon, and Twilight.
Plucky's group came across a chest and they opened it, but the chest reveals a giant dark energy sphere and it absorbs Plucky's group. The group ends up in a small island surrounded by purple rocky mountains. The Darkballs appeared and attacked the gang. Plucky uses Graviga to hold down the Darkballs, Totodile uses Water Gun to take out some of them, Yoshi swallows some of them and threw some eggs at them, and Gohan uses Gekiretsu Madan to wipe out the remaining Darkballs. The group finally escapes the island and back to the dark sea.
Dizzy's group came across another chest, but a giant dark energy sphere descends upon them, before they could open it. The group encounters a new type of Heartless called Angel Stars. They are angelic-like Heartless. Dizzy punches and kicks some of them, Chikorita uses Razor Leaf to take out some of them, Gatomon uses Lightning Paw to take out some of them, and Twilight uses her magic beams to take out the rest of them. The group returns back to the dark sea.
Sora's group came across another chest and they opened it, but the chest also reveals a giant dark energy sphere and swallows them. The group encounters a new type of Heartless called Invisibles. They are devil-like Heartless with swords. Sora uses Sonic Blade to take out some of the Invisibles, Cyndaquil uses Flamethrower to take out some of them, and Hiei uses Fist of the Mortal Flame to take out the rest of them. The group returns back to the dark sea.
Finally, all three groups reunited at the last chest. Another dark energy sphere descends upon them and they encountered another Behemoth. The Behemoth fires a giant dark energy sphere on the sky, which fires a bunch of small dark energy spheres down to the whole gang. The gang took some damage. They know the usual strategy. The Behemoth's weak spot is the horn, they destroyed the horn, destroyed the Behemoth, and returned to the dark sea. The whole gang enters the light at the end of the dark sea. The light took them to another area. This time, it was a purple mountain area with crystals all over the place.
Elder-Ham: Where are we now?
Sora: Nowhere close to Ansem.
Dizzy: Bad man really good at hide-and-seek. Where do you think he go to hide, Plucky?
Plucky: Probably to the most dangerous place. That's where most bad guys usually hide out.
Sora: Did you really say that Plucky?
Plucky:(Whimpers)I mean the least dangerous place.
Sora: You said the most dangerous place.
Plucky: Me and my big mouth.
The gang made their way down the mountain, jumping onto each ledge. Being the cautious one, Plucky took an even slower time than the others. The others finally reached the bottom and noticed a small bright hole below them. They saw a bright light that looks like a vortex to another place. Plucky was still taking his time getting down. He all of a sudden hit a loose rock and fell down, bonking his head onto other ledges. He continues bouncing around, until he ran into the others and they all fell into the hole. They were lost in the light, flying through an endless area. The light then dims around them, revealing a giant mountain area. The group flew over to a small, round mountain with spikes around the edge. Above them was a giant ring, also with spike edges. The group noticed a giant pink energy wave in front of them. It's energy flowing up, going through the middle of the ring.
Sora: Plucky, you are a hazard to one's health!
Plucky: HEY! I am not!
Elder-Ham: Boys! Please no arguing right now! We should figure out where we are.
Dizzy: What that?
Sora walks over to the energy wave and observes it.
Sora: Honestly, I don't know. But there is something familiar about this energy wave. I just can't put my finger on it.
Plucky: How about you don't put your finger on it? Let's move on!
Sora: No, I think we need to go in here. Something is telling me that this is the right way.
Dizzy: Dizzy believe Sora.
Elder-Ham: I believe you too, Sora.
All the Summons also believed him.
Plucky: Aww, OK. We'll go.
Sora slowly walks up to the glowing energy wave. He went to a familiar place. It was the third district of Traverse Town. It was the area, where Sora first met Plucky and Dizzy.
Elder-Ham: Traverse Town? Why are we back here?
Plucky: Maybe Ansem decided to surrender. That wasn't so bad.
Sora had a bad feeling about the entire area. Soon enough, the Heartless appeared. Specifically the Soldiers.
Dizzy: Heartless!
Sora and the whole gang took the Heartless on. It didn't take too long, as they quickly finish off the Heartless.
Plucky: Why do bad things always happen to us?
Elder-Ham: Why did we end up back in Traverse Town?
Sora: I don't think this is the real Traverse Town. I think this is an illusion created by Ansem, or maybe a memory of each world we visited.
Dizzy: Sora sure?
Sora: I'm not too sure, but we should keep going.
He then noticed a door appearing before them.
Sora: Maybe this door will lead us somewhere.
The group walks up to the door and Sora opens it. They entered the door and found themselves at the entrance of Saint Sanctuary. All of a sudden, more Heartless appeared. This time, they were the magic Heartless like Red Nocturnes, Blue Rhapsodies, Yellow Operas, and Green Requiems. The gang quickly took them all out. After the battle, a door appears in front of them. Upon entering it, the group appears in the entrance of the stadium at the Ever Grande Conference. They encountered more Heartless like the Air Soldiers and Large Bodies. The group once again made quick work of the Heartless and after that, another door appears. The gang opens the door and arrives in front of Tails's Workshop in Mystic Ruins. They encountered more Heartless like the Powerwilds and the Bouncywilds. The Bouncywilds threw banana peels at everyone. Everyone except for Plucky dodged. The group took care of the Heartless and another door appears.
The gang opens the door and arrives in the market place of Odaiba. They encountered more Heartless like the Bandits and Fat Bandits. They made quick work of the Heartless and made their way to the next door. The next door took them to King Dedede's throne room in Dreamland. the main trio were in their Cappy forms again. They fought against the Star Fighters and Search Ghosts and defeated them. They proceeded to the next door. The next door leads them to the trap room of the Wily Castle in Megaland. Again, the trio were in their robot suits. They ran into the Robo Knights and Jet Robos and finished them off. Another door appears and the group enters it. The group arrives in the command deck of Frieza's Ship on Planet Namek. They encountered Pirates and Air Pirates, which they quickly finished off. The gang walks up to the next door that appears and opens it. They arrived at the Animal Village. Sora remembers this place. It was the same place, where he first met Ai. Everyone else looks at the place in amazement. They have never seen anything so beautiful before.
Elder-Ham: Where are we?
Sora: This is Animal Village. Well, sort of, but this is what it looks like.
He looks around to see no Heartless in sight.
Sora: I think we're safe here.
The group noticed another door appearing in front of them. Sora began to walk towards it, but Plucky stops him.
Plucky: Kid, let's take a break for a little bit. I'm pooped.
Sora: OK, we'll take an hour break.
The whole gang took an hour long break. The gang all got into discussions, recalling past situations they got into. They laughed away at all the good memories. They did that to keep a positive attitude on their goals. An hour has passed since they arrived. The group stood up and stretched out, ready to take on their next challenge. The gang approached the next door and opens it, expecting the worse.
The gang arrives in a very small hallway, which appears to have the same setting as Hollow Bastion. To their left was a sliding door. The gang heads towards it, but the Heartless appeared again. This time, it was the Invisibles. The whole gang finished them off, the door on the left opens, and the group curiously walks in. The room was in the shape of a rectangle. In the middle of the room, the gang saw a strange machine with golden pipes moving up to the ceiling. Sora also saw a giant Heartless symbol in the middle of it. Sora also saw a small panel in front of it with words written on it.
Sora: Guys, come look at this. There's something written here.
The others walks over and noticed the writing on the panel.
Dizzy: What it say? Can Sora read it? Dizzy not good reader.
Sora: Sure, I'll take a look.
Sora clears his throat and read all of the words.
Ones born of the heart and darkness, devoid of hearts, ravage all worlds and bring desolation. Seize all hearts and consummate the great heart. All hearts to be one, one heart to encompass all. Realize the destiny: The realm of Kingdom Hearts. The great darkness sealed within the great heart. Progeny of darkness, come back to the eternal darkness. For the heart of light shall unseal the path. Seven hearts, one Keyhole, one key to the door. The Door of Darkness, tied by two keys. The Door of Darkness to seal the light. None shall pass but shadows, returning to the darkness. Ones born of the heart and darkness, hunger for every heart, until the dark door opens.
Plucky: Kingdom Hearts? What kind of kingdom is that?
Dizzy: That easy. It a kingdom where the hearts live.
Sora tried to figure out what it all mean. He knew that the seven hearts were the Princesses of Heart, but what did the Keyblade have to do with this? He thought that maybe this Kingdom Hearts needed to be sealed. He then realizes something.
Sora: Hey, isn't Kingdom Hearts the same door everybody's been talking about?
Elder-Ham: The Door to Darkness, tied by two keys. Possibly, and this door could be in this world. Who knows.
Sora: Let's go! We'll figure this out later.
The group left the strange room and turned to notice a dark round portal, with a fiery red color around the edge. The group jumps through the portal and arrives outside at the mountain area again.
Sora: Weren't we just here?
Plucky: Yeah, don't tell me we have to do this all over again.
Dizzy: Look!
The group turns to see Dizzy pointing at a giant hole that appeared. A blue wave surrounds it, slowly moving in a clockwise position. Sora walks over and examines the hole. He had a feeling in his stomach. A feeling which told him to go for it. Sora steps backwards, getting a good distance from the hole.
Sora: This is our only way, guys. When we enter this portal, there will be no turning back.
Plucky: As if we had a choice already. Just get it over with.
Sora nods and ran for the portal. He jumps and dives into it, disappearing before everyone's eyes. Everyone else follows, with Plucky being the last one.
Plucky: It was nice knowing me.
He jumps into the air, plugging his nose, and holding his breath. He then flew down the portal. The whole gang fell into the endless abyss, until they saw a platform in the shape of an octagon. The group lands safely on the platform, except for Plucky, who lands on his head. Everyone laughs at Plucky's clumsiness. The gang looks around at the entire area. In the sky are stars twinkling in the sky, each one as bright as the next one. The gang then noticed the stars disappearing and turning into an outlined vortex.
Sora: This is weird. That background just changed settings. Maybe we ended up in a world between space and time.
For a moment, Sora was hearing a faded maniacal laugh.
Sora: OK, what's so funny, Elder-Ham?
Elder-Ham: That wasn't me, Sora.
Sora turns to everyone else.
Sora: I guess that wasn't any of you guys either, right?
Everyone shook their heads no. Sora hears stranger eerie noises coming from the west side of him. He turns around, simply left speechless by what he saw. The others noticed this and turns to look at what Sora saw. They were also in shock. A giant white glove was floating towards them, laughing all the way.
Elder-Ham: A flying hand? Goodness!
Plucky: I guess Ansem needed a hand around here. Get it? Hand?
Everyone else groans at the joke.
Sora: Dude, you had to pick the worst time to make a joke, especially hand jokes.
The gang saw the giant hand form a fist, preparing an attack. It starts to charge at the gang with a punch attack, but everyone dodged it. It starts pointing at the gang and fires missiles from it's fingers. Some of the missiles hit the gang. It then grabs Sora and proceeds to crush him, but Dizzy headbutts the giant hand and it released Sora. It then targets Plucky and pokes him real hard. It then fires lasers from it's fingers, zapping some of the gang. It then walks on the platform and attempts to thump Dizzy out of it, but Dizzy got back on the platform.
The gang did a counterattack. Sora uses the Strike Raid, Plucky uses Thundaga, Dizzy delivers punches and kicks, Cyndaquil uses Flame Wheel, Chikorita uses Magical Leaf, Totodile uses Aqua Tail, Gatomon uses Lightning Paw, Yoshi uses Egg Throw, Gohan uses Masenko, Twilight uses Firaga and Blizzaga, and Hiei uses Sword of the Darkness Flame. All of the attacks did alot of damage to the hand. The gang were about to finish it off, when they suddenly hear a laugh from the other side. They saw another hand. This one was shaking like crazy and it's laugh sounds more wild.
Plucky: Looks like our friend brought out his right hand man.
He then noticed the other hand on the left side.
Plucky: Or left hand man.
Sora noticed the left hand waving to the right hand. the right hand made a fist, ready to attack.
Sora: Get down, everyone!
Everyone quickly ducked, as the hand flew pass them, punching the palm of the other hand. The group quickly stood up, seeing the two hands surrounding them.
Plucky: Man, they're gonna win this thing "hands" down.
Sora: Plucky, If you say one more hand joke, I swear-
Dizzy: Look out!
The gang saw the right hand give them a hard smack, knocking them into the left hand, who jerks back and slams everyone onto the ground like dice. the two hands then starts clapping around the battlefield, smashing everyone in between. The whole gang have taken alot of damage.
Sora: Guys, I think they gave us a round of applause for our efforts.
Plucky: And you said I made bad hand jokes.
Sora: We need to work together if we're gonna beat them.
Yoshi and Gatomon transforms into their Ultimate Forms. The gang focused on the left hand first. Sora uses Ars Arcanum, Plucky uses Firaga and Blizzaga, Dizzy uses Spin Attack, Cyndaquil uses Double Kick, Chikorita uses Ancient Power, Totodile uses Ice Beam, Angewomon uses Celestial Arrow, Yoshi uses Super Fire Breath, Gohan uses Bakuretsu Ranma, Twilight uses Thundaga, and Hiei uses Dragon of the Darkness Flame. All of the attacks weakened the left hand.
Sora: Plucky, Dizzy, let's finish them off!
Sora uses the Trinity Limit, where he plants his Keyblade on the ground, creating a large energy field that covers the entire platform. The energy field fired pillars of light and fired beams in multiple directions. The beams hits the hands, who screams in pain, as the light engulfs them. When the light fades, the platform disappears and everyone went free falling again. Yoshi and Angewomon went back to their normal forms. Everyone keeps falling into the endless abyss for what felt like hours.
Sora: Guys? How long have we been falling?
Plucky looks at his watch.
Plucky: About ten minutes, Sora. I don't know where we're going to end up. I hope it's not somewhere scary.
Sora: You'd wish. But we have to find a way outta here. Ansem is waiting for us.
Dizzy: Look!
Sora looks down, noticing a white circular light at the end of the abyss. The light swallows the whole gang, sending them to another room. The room is a purple cave with a glowing green floor and a Heartless symbol at the end of the room.
Elder-Ham: That must be the way to the next room. Let's go!
The gang heads to the Heartless symbol, when all of a sudden, another Behemoth appears from the sky, giving a hard pound to the ground. The impact knocks the whole gang back.
Plucky: Come on! Can't we stop encountering this fatso?
The Behemoth growls from Plucky's insult and powers up it's horn.
Sora: You shouldn't have insulted it, Plucky!
The Behemoth fires a giant laser at the gang, which they all dodged. Everybody knows the usual strategy, attack the horn, and destroy the Behemoth. After the Behemoth was destroyed, a piece of the Heartless symbol disappeared. It was the upper right piece of the symbol that was gone. Suddenly, more Heartless appeared. The first wave were a bunch of Darkballs, which the entire gang finished off with ease. The second wave are the Invisibles. The Invisibles did some damage to the gang with their swords, but the gang manages to finish them off. The third wave are the Angel Stars. They fired some powerful energy balls at the gang, doing even more damage, but the gang still finished them off. The final wave are Darkballs, Invisibles, and Angel Stars together. The gang manages to finish them all off and the Heartless panel completely disappears. the whole gang fell down with exhaustion. Gohan manages to heal everyone with his healing ability.
Plucky: Please...tell me...that's the...last...of them.
Sora: I think it is. Look.
He points to where the Heartless symbol was and everyone noticed that there's now an opening.
Sora: Let's go, everyone. We're almost there.
Plucky: I think we should wait. It could be a trap.
Sora: Come on, Plucky. We should continue.
Sora walks into the Heartless symbol, with the others dragging Plucky along. On the other side, he was in a small room with pots on the side. The pots are filling up with water coming from the streams. Sora ran over to the pots and drank the water. He was dehydrated from all of the fighting, so he drank up as much as he wanted. Suddenly, he hears footsteps and quickly turns around to see the others.
Elder-Ham: Sora? What are you doing?
Sora: I found some water, guys. You can drink up if you want. There's plenty for everyone.
Everyone ran over and drink some water. They drank up as much as they wanted. After everyone was done drinking, Sora noticed a strange door in the corner of the room.
Sora: Guys, look at this.
Everyone turns to notice the door standing before them.
Dizzy: What with funny door?
Sora: Could lead us to Ansem, I'll bet. Let's check it out!
The gang walks over to the door. As Sora was about to open the door, he stops. The others noticed him standing there.
Plucky: Kid, are you alright?
Sora: Can you hear something? Listen!
He hears a voice inside his mind. A voice that was somehow familiar to him.
Careful. This is the last haven you'll find here. Beyond, there is no light to protect you, only darkness flows through here. But don't be afraid. Your heart is the mightiest weapon of all. Remember, you are the one, who will open the door to the light.
Sora: Did you hear that?
Plucky(Sarcasm)Yeah, I hear it. The sound of silence is what I hear.
Sora: I'm serious! That voice...it sounds familiar to me. Am I imagining it?
Dizzy: Why not take a break for a few minutes?
Sora: No. I'm fine.
Elder-Ham: Then move on, Sora.
The Summons all agreed. Sora opens the door and out came a bright light. The final battle awaits.
That's it for chapter 50. The hand bosses are Master Hand and Crazy Hand from Super Smash Bros. Next time will be the final battle with Ansem.
