Chapter 51: The Final Battle Part 2
The whole gang went through the door and out came a bright light. As the light clears, the whole gang found themselves on an island with palm trees surrounding it. They were on the beach part of the island. They could feel a gentle breeze from the island.
Plucky: This is a nice island. But I've never seen it in my life.
Elder-Ham: This is strange. The places we visited in this world were memories of the other worlds we've encountered. I've never been here in my life.
Dizzy: Dizzy haven't either.
All the Summons said they have never been on this island before either. Everyone turns to Sora, who's face was frozen from seeing the island.
Sora: Is this...Is this my island?
Plucky: Your island?
Dizzy: This your home, isn't it?
Sora nods to Dizzy, but there's something strange about it.
Sora: This looks exactly like my island. But it isn't my island at all.
Dizzy: Why not?
Elder-Ham: Think about it, Dizzy. If this was Sora's island, we wouldn't be here with him now, would we?
Plucky: Great. I didn't wanna fight anymore.
Sora felt like he had to go to the secret place. He walks over to where it was. The others followed him.
Elder-Ham: Sora? What are you-
Sora: I feel strange...like, something is telling me to head over to the secret place.
As Sora walks over to the secret place, the earth starts to shake. Plucky fell into the sand and got some in his mouth. He quickly spits it out. Soon, the earth stops shaking and a voice was heard.
?: This world has been connected.
Dizzy hugs Sora's leg, frightened by the voice.
Dizzy: What that?
Sora: Ansem?
?: Tied to the darkness...Soon to be completely eclipsed.
The gang noticed the small island and wooden platform has disappeared. They also noticed the blue ocean turning purple.
?: There is so very much to learn. But you understand so little.
Sora: That voice. It belongs to that hooded man from my island.
?: A meaningless effort. One who knows nothing can understand nothing.
The gang could see the island has changed before their eyes. The ground began to split all over towards the edge of the water. Purple spiky trees appeared around the sides of the island. Sora now knew that this was a mere memory of his island. Sora felt his jaw drop, as he looks out to the edge of the island. He saw Riku, looking at the shore of the water. He was wearing the dark suit he wore from Hollow Bastion.
Sora: RIKU!
He ran to him.
Plucky: WAIT! It could be a trap!
Elder Ham: I agree. We should stop him.
Everyone follows Sora, trying to stop him, but he keeps running towards Riku.
Riku:(Ansem's voice)Take a moment. Look at this tiny place. An island nestled between night and day. It's magnificence rings the children to it. It seems peaceful, but in reality, this island is nothing more than a prison on water, to the hearts that seek freedom from it.
Sora: What are you talking about?
Riku: There are those who are foolish enough to believe they can cross between worlds, find new meaning to justify their existence. Then there was this boy, a foolish child, who sought out to escape the confinements of his prison. He sought a way to crossover into other worlds, but in the end, he opens his heart to darkness.
He slowly turns towards the gang. A dark wave engulfs his body. They gasped, as Riku transforms into Ansem, as he turns his way towards the gang.
Sora: RIKU! NO!
Ansem: Don't even waste your breath. His voice can no longer be heard where he is. His heart belongs again to darkness.
Sora: NO! It can't be.
Ansem: Silly boy. You remain in denial. A childhood fantasy of believing in anything you want. You can't comprehend the truth. Darkness is all around us. Our mere existence begins in darkness. As does the worlds that twinkle in the blackness of space. And for every beginning, there is an end, thus concluding that all worlds shall end in darkness. The heart itself is no different. Darkness sprouts within it, it grows, consumes it. Such is it's nature. In the end result, every heart returns to the darkness where it came.
All of a sudden, He appears behind them, making the gang jump back.
Dizzy: Sora, make the bad man go away!
Ansem: Do not worry, young one. Soon you too will be absorbed by the darkness. You cannot escape it because darkness is the heart's true essence.
Sora: STOP! YOU'RE WRONG!
Ansem: You dare challenge my knowledge? I know everything. I know that there is darkness. The heart is nothing more than a weak organ.
Sora: I'll admit, the heart can be weak and sometimes, it may give in. But I've learned that deep down, there is a light that never goes out.
Ansem chuckles evilly, flew in the air, and hovers in front of the gang.
Ansem: Impressive. You've come so far and you still understand nothing. Every light must fade. Every heart return to darkness!
A dark wave appears behind him, showing a giant creature with two horns and no legs. The gang got shocked upon seeing this.
Plucky: We're in trouble.
Sora took his Keyblade out, ready for one more battle.
Sora: We can beat him! We just need to pull through!
Ansem: You think you can defeat me and my Guardian, Keyblade Master? Think again! Prepare for battle!
Ansem casted some dark energy balls and threw them at the whole gang, who dodged the attacks. Ansem then fires some dark energy waves at the gang, who dodged again. Sora ran up to attack, but Ansem calls upon his Guardian to guard him. His Guardian then slash at Sora, doing some damage. Plucky and Dizzy charges at him, but Ansem's Guardian grabs them and threw them to the Summons.
Sora: This guy may be more powerful than Sephiroth, but I will not let you get away with this! I have discovered your weakness!
Ansem: You fool! Darkness doesn't have weaknesses!
Sora: It doesn't make you invincible!
Ansem was confused at this, but Sora uses Sonic Blade and dash attacks Ansem so hard, he fell over. Dizzy and Yoshi appears behind him and headbutts him into the air, where Plucky and Twilight are waiting. Plucky and Twilight then cast Graviga on him, sending him back down in the ground. Sora and Hiei leapt up, sword and Keyblade in hand, and slashed at Ansem multiple times. Ansem got up, very annoyed.
Ansem: Now, you're starting to annoy me! SUBMIT!
The Guardian launched itself at Sora, but Plucky took the hit himself. The Guardian enters into Plucky.
Dizzy: What did bad guy do?
Ansem: Just watch! Open your heart!
Plucky tried to escape, but the Guardian appears behind him and held him to stop him from moving. Ansem creates a giant dark energy barrier surrounding him. He moves slowly to Plucky, ready to attack him with it, but Sora leapt in and stops Ansem's attack, protecting Plucky. Ansem snarls, puts his hand in front of Sora, and pushed him aside with some force. Ansem turns to Plucky and prepares to finish him off. Plucky saw his friends all hurt. He uses Stopga to freeze time, ran up to his friends, and uses Curaga.
Plucky: I will not let you hurt my friends!
Ansem: Really? You are a self-centered duck! Why do you care for these fools?
Plucky: Because of all the adventures I had with them! They were my best friends!
Sora: And we're his friends, too! You have to deal with us!
Ansem: Fine! SUBMIT!
The Guardian launched at them again, but the heroes dodged this time.
Dizzy: Do bad man think he could use that again?
The gang all charged at Ansem. Plucky uses Thundaga, Dizzy uses Spin Attack, Cyndaquil uses Flamethrower, Chikorita uses Razor Leaf, Totodile uses Water Gun, Gatomon uses Lightning Paw, Yoshi uses Egg Throw, Gohan uses Masenko, Twilight uses her magic beam, and Hiei uses Fist of the Mortal Flame. All of the attacks did damage to him. Sora finished with the Ars Arcanum, delivering a powerful slashing combo on him.
Ansem: I've underestimated you again. But I am far from done. Come and get me if you can!
He retreats back into the tree, which splits in two, revealing a purple area that points upward. They then hear Ansem's maniacally laughing at them. After Gohan heals everyone, they all ran up to the hole.
Sora: We can't give up! Everyone is counting on us. Let's give it all we got!
Everyone: Let's do it!
Sora leapt in the hole first. Everyone else follows, but a barrier knocks them back. They all rolled down the hill from the impact and fell into the sand. They stood back up, brushing the sand off them. Dizzy had some in his mouth, but turns the wrong way and spat it into Plucky's face.
Plucky: Hey!
Dizzy: Sorry.
The gang returns to where the entrance was and tried to enter it again, but found out that they couldn't break through the wall.
Plucky: We can't get in!
Dizzy: Sora stuck!
Elder-Ham: We must find some way to help Sora. He can't tackle that madman alone.
Sora was left alone inside the giant hole. He knew this was another trap planned. He could feel the ground shaking yet again. All of a sudden, he saw a giant black creature rising out of the ground. It was Darkside, the creature that Sora encountered from his dream and his island.
Sora: You again? Haven't I beat you enough times already?
Darkside lifted it's hand into the air, ready to bring it down on the boy.
Dizzy: Look out!
Darkside punched the ground again, but Sora dodged it again. The hand on the ground created a bunch of Shadows, which Sora quickly defeated. When Darkside lifts up it's hands to do a powerful energy ball attack, Sora attacks it's feet. The creature fell down and Sora strikes his Keyblade onto it's head, killing it. Then it disappears and Ansem reappears.
Ansem: I see that Darkside is no match for you. However, I locked you here, so I can finish you off. Your friends gave you strength. Let's see what you can do without them.
Sora: Wrong! My friends will always be in my heart! If you think you can defeat me alone, then come on!
Ansem made his Guardian appear and the two charges at each other. They began clashing, Keyblade and Guardian to each other in fast motion. They took it to the air and then they separated. Sora uses the Sonic Blade attack to dash attack Ansem, doing some damage. Ansem then yells "SUBMIT!" and the Guardian launched at him again, but Sora jumps and kicks it in the chin, while doing a cartwheel backwards. Ansem smirks, saw Sora running towards him, and calls his Guardian up to protect him. Sora slashed the Guardian, but did no harm. Sora then got around it and slashed Ansem in the back. Ansem turns around and starts glowing.
Ansem: My strength has returned! I hope your ready, because you ain't seen nothing like me!
Sora saw the Guardian disappear and reappear on the ground beside him, trying to attack him, but he ran off, trying to dodge each attack.
Ansem: So, what did you accomplish? Do not deny your fear!
Sora: Who said I'm scared? I'm exactly enjoying this!
Ansem: Well, the final darkness attack is now!
Ansem fires some dark energy waves towards Sora, but he leapt over and the Guardian appears to Ansem. Sora ran towards Ansem, but he threw some dark energy balls at Sora. Sora took some damage, but he's mostly fine. Sora frowns at him and charges at him again, but Ansem calls his Guardian to take over Sora. This time, Sora was hit and the Guardian was stuck in his body.
Ansem: Now, boy! Open your heart!
He went towards him, as the Guardian was holding him, as Ansem was ready to finish him off.
Pluck & Dizzy: SORA!
Sora opens his eyes and uses the Ars Arcanum on the Guardian, destroying it, and freeing himself. He leapt over Ansem, who was watching in horror.
Ansem: Impossible! You destroyed my guardian!
Sora: And with nothing to protect you, I say this match is over!
Sora uses the Strike Raid to throw his Keyblade into Ansem's chest. Ansem gasped in pain and fell down. Then all of a sudden, everything turns white and everyone disappears. Everyone shut their eyes from the bright light.
Plucky: I should have brought my sunglasses.
Sora shields his eyes from the brightness. He kept his eyes closed for a few minutes, wondering if it would stop. Slowly, he took his arms away from his eyes and looks around. He noticed he was in an endless abyss of darkness. He looks around to see Plucky, Dizzy, and the rest of the gang flying towards him.
Dizzy: Is Sora OK?
Sora: I'm fine now. I'm just glad you guys stuck by my side.
Plucky: Hey, all for one and one for all. We needed to stick together like great trios should. Like the three musketeers, the three amigos, the Marx Bros.-
Sora: The Marx Bros.?
Plucky: Never mind. Have you seen Elder-Ham?
Sora: I thought he was with you.
Plucky: I thought he was with us, too. But he disappears somewhere.
Sora: You know...We should probably figure out where we are first.
Everyone hears Ansem laughing maniacally. Dizzy ran into Plucky's arms, hugging him tightly.
Sora: Ansem! Where are you? Show yourself!
Ansem: Behold, you stand before the endless abyss of darkness. Within this world lies the hearts of all worlds...
The whole gang turns to see one thing standing out in the darkness. A giant white door, which at the moment, they couldn't see in detail, because it was too far away from them.
Ansem: Kingdom Hearts!
Sora: Kingdom Hearts?
Ansem: Look at the realm of the sacred heart. You'll not find even the smallest glimmer of light from it. From those dark depths are all hearts born. Even yours.
Sora tried to find out where exactly Ansem's voice was coming from. He then looks down, gasping in shock upon what he saw. Everyone else felt their mouths drop at what they saw as well. Standing before them was a giant vessel of some sort. It made the whole gang look like ants from where they were standing. At the front of it was a giant head with sharp teeth and sinister yellow eyes. Above them was a circular area that looks like branches around it. Around were yellow spikes that stuck out of it. Above it, Sora saw Ansem without a shirt on, wearing black pants, and holding a double-edged Soul Eater. Even further up was the Guardian, except it was huge now, it has a yellow ring around it's back, and two blue energy balls on the shoulder. They felt their hearts pounding from the fear of this giant ship. It was inexpressible to explain the fear they felt.
Ansem: DARKNESS CONQUERS ALL WORLDS!
Then all of a sudden, everyone starts falling. A dark portal appears and sucks everyone except Sora in. Sora tried to fly, but he couldn't do it. He fell to his doom in the world of darkness. His body felt numb. He couldn't move at all. He tried with all his might, but was unsuccessful. Sora knew that this was it. Ansem proves to be too powerful, even without fighting.
Sora: I'm sorry...He's too powerful...Plucky...Dizzy...Riku...I couldn't save you.
He fell deep into the darkness, hearing Ansem laughing with success. His self doubt clouds his judgement. He was about to let the darkness absorb him, when he hears a voice call out to him.
Giving up already, you lazy bum?
Sora opens his eyes in surprise.
Sora: Riku?
Come on, Sora. You're way stronger than that. Don't let this guy push you around.
Sora realizes that failure was not an option. He knew that he shouldn't give up because of Ansem's advantage. In fact, he now felt up to the challenge. He knew that if he was going to die, it was at least he tried. Finding the strength within, Sora was able to fly out of the darkness, back into the sky. He flew as fast as he could, pushing every inch of energy into himself. Finally, he arrives back at World's Chaos, seeing the giant vessel appear before him.
Sora: This is it. No turning back.
Ansem: Grr! Such persistence!
Sora: Ansem, in the name of the moon, I will punish you!
He then sweatdrops from that comment.
Sora: Note to self: Never let Kairi force you to watch Sailor Moon again.
Ansem: Really? I dare you to do so!
Ansem twirls his twin Soul Eaters around. He and Sora clashed their weapons together. Sora and Ansem continues sword fighting and came to a lock down. Ansem then pushed Sora aside and calls upon some dark energy beams. Sora dodged them all and slashed Ansem 20 times. Ansem then slashed him aside again. Sora flew at him again, clashing their weapons again. Ansem then twirls his weapon in the air and sends a tornado at Sora. Sora spins his Keyblade in front of him, blocking the tornado. After the tornado dies down. Sora flew forward and slashed Ansem on the chest. Ansem then use his Soul Eaters to slash Sora again, but Sora blocks it and stabs Ansem in the arm. Ansem staggers back and smirks.
Ansem: Darn you! I feel alot weaker now. But I must recover. And while I recover, I will emerge even more powerful.
Ansem made his weapon disappear, crossed his arms, and leans back. Then a Heartless symbol covers him. Then a portal which everyone else fell in appears. Sora decided to save his friends and enters it. He couldn't find them, but some Shadows appeared. He took care of them and saw what looked like a blue core. He smashed it a couple of times and it explodes. He made his way out of the portal and back to World's Chaos. Then he saw the laser cannons, which are on the pillar below Ansem, started firing. Sora flew to take care of them and another portal appears. As Sora enters, he saw Dizzy, Gohan, Twilight, and Hiei fighting the Darkballs.
Sora: Dizzy! Gohan! Twilight! Hiei! You're all OK!
Everyone turns to Sora. Dizzy ran up to Sora and licks his face.
Sora: Now, stop it! I'm OK!
Dizzy: Sora save Dizzy! Sora my hero!
Sora: Well, you saved me, too. So, you're my hero, little buddy.
He then looks around the room.
Sora: Where's Plucky and the others?
Dizzy: Me no sure. Dizzy too scared in here to even look around.
Gohan: Don't worry, guys. I'm sure they're OK.
Twilight: Right now, we have to deal with the Heartless.
Hiei: She's right. Let's go, guys!
Everyone charges at the Heartless. Sora uses Thundaga on them, Dizzy delivers punches and kicks, Gohan uses Gekiretsu Madan, Twilight uses Firaga and Blizzaga, and Hiei uses Sword of the Darkness Flame. After taking out the Heartless, they destroyed the core. After they left the room and returns to World's Chaos, Dizzy saw Ansem with the Heartless symbol on him.
Dizzy: What he doing?
Sora: He's trying to recover. We have to rescue Plucky and the others and defeat him, before anything else happens.
In front of the vessel, the face moves and attacks. Sora, Dizzy, and the others, thinking that Plucky and the others might be in there, flew in to attack. The head fires laser beams at the heroes, but they dodged. The head then shot some Thunder towards them, but they moved out of the way and slashed and attacked it. After taking alot of damage, the head stood still and a portal appears from it's mouth. They entered to see Plucky, Cyndaquil, Chikorita, Totodile, Gatomon, and Yoshi fighting the Invisibles.
Sora: Plucky! Cyndaquil! Chikorita! Totodile! Gatomon! Yoshi! You're all OK!
Plucky: Thank goodness you got here, kid!
Cyndaquil: No time for reunions. We still have work to finish.
Chikorita: These Heartless aren't going to run away.
Plucky: I would.
Totodile: We must find a way to get outta this room.
The whole gang stood ready, as the Heartless flew at them. Sora and Plucky uses Firaga and Blizzaga on them, Cyndaquil uses Double Kick, Chikorita uses Ancient Power, Totodile uses Ice Beam, Gatomon uses Lightning Paw, and Yoshi swallows some Heartless and threw eggs at them. They managed to destroy all of the Heartless.
Gatomon: That should take care of them.
Yoshi: We must get outta here!
The core appears, which they destroyed. They escaped the room, just to see the head of World's Chaos explode. They looked up to see the big core underneath Ansem lost it's barrier. Plucky looks up to see Ansem was still charging his energy.
Plucky: Why is he snoozing?
Sora: He's powering up to his maximum power.
Plucky gasped in fear and tried to fly for it, but he felt Sora and Dizzy holding him back.
Dizzy: Plucky have to pick worse time to be coward.
Plucky: What? No time like the present, right?
Sora: We gotta stop him, before he gets to full power.
Dizzy: Quick! Attack the core!
They all flew up and attack the core as hard as they could, then it was destroyed. Ansem came out of his slumber, holding his weapon, looking at the gang with an evil glare.
Ansem: You fools are too late! I have achieved my full power! You cannot stop my onslaught! You shall bow before me!
Dizzy: Bowing is last thing we wanna do!
Ansem: Then you shall perish before my twin blades of terror!
Ansem spins his weapons and blew everyone but Sora away. Sora and Ansem clashed their weapons again, then Ansem pushed Sora aside and fired lasers at him, but Sora moves out of the way, then he attacks Ansem again. Ansem tried to hold back with his weapon, but he was knocked back. Ansem then pushed Sora aside and raised his sword in the air. Ansem then cast some dark energy balls. Sora didn't have time to move, but he held on to one of the energy balls and watched, as the others are getting closer to him. He then use his Keyblade to knock one aside and then deflected the rest of them. Plucky, Dizzy, and the rest of the gang joins in, by deflecting some attacks and attacking Ansem. Ansem got punched in the face and kicked in the stomach. Ansem grabs Dizzy in the air by the chest. Sora slashed him in the arm to save Dizzy, but what he didn't know is that Ansem brought his sword behind him and...
STAB!
Sora gasped in pain, as Ansem's sword was impaled within his chest. Everyone watched in horror.
Ansem: Goodbye, you pitiful fool!
Ansem threw Sora off and he lands on the platform on the vessel motionless. Everyone watched in sorrow at their fallen friend. Sora was laying their motionless.
Plucky: You monster! How could you do that to Sora?
Dizzy: Sora my best friend! Bad man killed him!
Ansem:(Laughs)Oh, don't worry. Soon, you'll be joining him in the afterlife.
Ansem's laughter echoed throughout the endless abyss that stretched out through eternity. Plucky and Dizzy continued to cry their hearts out for the loss. They looked at him again, so peaceful, as he lied there, a warm smile upon his face. It seems that it was all over as their last hope fell to the darkness...or did he?
Sora: I...failed...I...tried...but...couldn't...do it...I'm...sorry...Kairi...I...love...you...
Suddenly, he opens up his eyes and a bright light engulfs him. He hears a familiar voice.
?: Sora, Are you OK?
Sora: Kairi? Is that you?
?: You silly bum. I told you I wouldn't let you do this alone.
When the light dims, he saw Kairi standing there, looking at him. And she's not alone. Along with her are heroes from the other worlds. Everyone from Leon, Cloud, Ash, May, Sonic, Seiya, Digidestined, Ham-Hams, Kirby, Megaman, Goku, Serena, Tuxedo Mask, and the others smiling at him.
Sora: Where did they all come from?
Kairi: They all came, because you're in trouble, silly. We all put our hearts together and we're giving our powers to you.
Serena: Your brave sacrifice shows that your strength didn't come from the Keyblade, but your heart. With such a brave person, there's no way we're going to let you lose this fight.
Suddenly, all of his friends put their hands out, creating a giant orb of light. Sora was amazed at their powers and knew this is just what he needed.
Sora: They went through all this trouble for me?
Kairi nods and Sora puts his head down.
Sora: You guys are the best friends a kid could ever have. Thank you.
The light orb glimmers down of Sora, who could feel his life force coming back to him. He felt his power growing stronger than ever. He even saw Riku nearby, who gave him a thumbs up. Finally, the light dims, as Sora's body began to glow. Kairi leans over to Sora, smiling warmly.
Kairi: Don't lose. Here's a good luck present.
She kissed Sora on the cheek, causing him to blush. Everything fades away, as he felt himself regain consciousness. Back at the World's Chaos, Sora's body began to glow brightly. The Keyblade transforms into a more powerful form, the Ultima Weapon. It was embraced by golden diamond-shaped holes. The yellow lines going diagonally up to the top of the blade, which has a golden crown for the tooth. Everyone was baffled by this turn of event. Sora's body was glowing in a beautiful aura of gold. The light finally dims and everyone looks over to Sora. His eyes opened, he sat up, looking at himself to see his wounds were healed. Plucky and Dizzy screams in joy and hugs Sora tightly.
Sora: Whoa! Take it easy, guys!
Ansem couldn't believe it. How did Sora survive? He became afraid. This boy would not die.
Ansem: This can't be! How could you still be standing?
Sora: Can't you tell, Ansem? It's just like my friends said. I am the hope of the omniverse! I am the light bulb in the darkness! I am the bacon in the fridge for all living things that cry out in hunger! I am the Alpha and the Amiga! I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am Sora! And I am a Super Saiyan!
He then sweatdrops from that speech.
Sora: Note to self: Never let Riku force you to watch Teamfourstar's Dragon Ball Z Abridged.
He grips the Keyblade tightly in both hands.
Sora: Anyway, my friends will always be in my heart. As long as the light shines brightly and we believe in each other, anything is possible. This ends now!
Sora and the whole gang flew at Ansem. Ansem tried to strike Sora, but the boy slashed the two Soul Eaters with his Ultima Weapon, splitting it in two. Ansem was left stunned by this. He knew he has lost the battle.
Sora: Now, everyone! Let's finish this!
Yoshi and Gatomon transforms into their Ultimate Forms. Everyone unleashed their ultimate attacks. Plucky uses Thundaga, Dizzy uses Spin Attack, Cyndaquil uses Overheat, Chikorita uses Solarbeam, Totodile uses Hydro Pump, Angewomon uses Heaven's Charm, Yoshi uses Super Fire Breath, Gohan uses Bakuretsu Ranma, Twilight uses her giant magic beam, and Hiei uses Dragon of the Darkness Flame. All of the attacks hit Ansem, doing alot of damage. Sora finished him off with Ragnarok, delivering a slashing combo, and firing a bunch of energy spheres. Ansem felt the pain rising in his chest, unable to take it. Suddenly, the World's Chaos began to explode. Everyone quickly flew out of the way, as the ship of darkness explodes. The cut on Ansem turns into a ball of light and engulfs him.
Ansem: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
The giant vessel explodes before their eyes, creating of giant ball of fire. The explosion ended, taking everything with it. It remains calm for a moment, as the gang stood in the blackness of the area, knowing they finally did it. The Ultima Weapon changes back into a normal Keyblade. Sora thanks all who helps him win the fight. He slowly began to fall, but the others caught him.
Plucky: Whoa there, partner. You're not going anywhere.
Dizzy: Is Sora OK?
Sora made his famous smile and gave a thumbs up. He then looks back at the blackness of the area. He couldn't believe it, they really did it.
Sora: It's over. It's finally over.
Everyone knew that their battle was finally over and they looks at each other, proud of what they've accomplished. They weren't done yet, though. They had to take care of the door to Kingdom Hearts. They slowly made their way over to the door. They then hear a voice.
?: WAIT UP, GUYS!
Everyone turns to see Elder-Ham flying up to them slowly. Dizzy flew over to Elder-Ham and got him onto his head. Dizzy then flew back to join the others. Plucky sighs with relief.
Plucky: Thank goodness you're OK, Elder-Ham. I was beginning to worry about you.
Elder-Ham: No need to worry, Plucky. I was kinda lost in this place, until I found you guys. So, I take it you won in my absence.
Sora and the others explained about what happened with Ansem and how they won. Elder-Ham was astonished by this. He then made a disappointed look.
Elder-Ham: Oh, darn it. I missed out on a truly fantastic battle.
Plucky: Well, don't expect an encore performance. I've had enough of hearing that nut job saying "darkness" all the time. On and on like a broken record.
Sora: Agree with you there, buddy. We have one more task to complete.
Everyone remembers that they need to seal the door to Kingdom Hearts. Before they could reach it, someone appears in front of them.
Everyone: ANSEM!
Ansem: Darn you, boy! But you're too late. Once I open the door to Kingdom Hearts, you lose. It is futile. The Keyblade alone cannot seal the door to darkness.
Dizzy: Don't do it, bad man!
Ansem turns to the door with his hand reaching them.
Ansem: Kingdom Hearts! Fill me with the power of darkness!
The door slowly began to open, revealing dark waves around the edges of the door.
Ansem: YES! Supreme darkness is mine!
Plucky: Ahh! Shut up with your darkness talk!
Sora looks at the door, feeling something different about the Door of Darkness. He couldn't feel any darkness come out of it. In fact, he didn't think Kingdom Hearts was a Door to Darkness. He then remembers what Kairi's grandma said.
But someday, a door to the innermost darkness will open. And the true light will return. So listen, child. Even in the deepest darkness, there will always be a light to guide you. Believe in the light, and the darkness will never defeat you. Your heart will shine with it's power and push the darkness away.
Sora knew the truth right there and then.
Sora: You're wrong, Ansem!
Ansem: What? How can I be wrong?
Sora: I know now, without a doubt. Kingdom Hearts...is light!
The door burst open with light and it engulfs Ansem, as he tried to shield himself, but he couldn't help but watch in horror.
Ansem: WHAT? LIGHT? BUT WHY?
Plucky: Now, he says light. Make up your mind!
Ansem's body was engulfed and he suddenly disappears. When the light dies down, he was no longer seen.
Elder-Ham: Where did he go?
Sora: I don't know. But let's not stick around to find out. We have to close the door!
Everyone flew to the Door of Darkness. Gohan took the chance to heal everyone from the epic battle against Ansem. Sora lands on the ground and ran to the door with the others following him. Sora looks at the door with amazement. It's the biggest door he's ever seen in his life. Sora saw the sides of the door wide open.
Sora: We have to close it, or the darkness will flow out and that won't be good.
Sora, Cyndaquil, Chikorita, Totodile, Gatomon, and Yoshi pushed one side of the door, while Plucky, Dizzy, Gohan, Twilight, and Hiei pushed the other side of the door. They tried to push it, but with little effect. Dizzy looks over to see what is on the other side and gasped.
Plucky: Hey, this door can't close itself, you know! Stop staring and keep pushing!
He then began to get a bit curious himself.
Plucky: Then again...it wouldn't hurt just to take a tiny little peek.
He looks into the door and what he saw scares him. Inside the door was a dark room with uvula-like structures sticking out from everywhere. Small blue tubes were stuck all around it. Plucky and Dizzy noticed dark waves on the ground. They knew this meant trouble.
Plucky & Dizzy: THE HEARTLESS!
Plucky: Hurry! I'm not planning on spending the rest of my life in darkness!
Elder-ham: Relax, Plucky. Surely if you push hard enough...
Sora: We're doing our best, but it's not working! We can't budge this stupid door!
He slams his fist on the door. He knew they couldn't do it. The door is too strong. He was about to give up, when he hears a voice.
?: Don't give up!
Sora looks up to see Riku on the other side, pulling the door in.
Sora: Riku! You're alive!
Riku: There's no time! Come on, man! Let's work together and close this big door!
Sora knew that Riku has returned to his old self. He knew he could put his trust back in his childhood friend. He nods with seriousness in his face. Everyone continues to push the door shut. With the combined strengths of Sora and Riku, the door starts to move. Plucky and Dizzy were also able to move their door. After a few moments, the doors stopped again.
Dizzy: What happened?
Riku: There is something blocking it. The darkness is getting too strong.
Riku turn to see two Darkside Heartless emerge from the ground. Plucky starts to panic.
Plucky: THAT'S IT! WE'RE DONE FOR! MIGHT AS WELL THROW IN THE TOWEL! GAME OVER, MAN! GAME OVER!
Elder-Ham: Calm down, Plucky! There must be someway to close it!
Suddenly, the two Darkside Heartless disintegrated before them. The inside of Kingdom Hearts became brighter now, as the darkness slowly fades away.
Plucky: What just happened? How did those Heartless get destroyed?
Riku: I think an old friend of the toons helped out.
The trio peeks into the door, trying to see if anyone was there. A mysterious figure jumps out from behind the uvula-like structures, surrounded by light. The figure was a light blue bunny with white cheeks, wearing a red coat, and white gloves. Plucky and Dizzy recognizes who it was. Could it be...?
Bunny: Hey, guys! It's me, Buster Bunny!
Plucky: Your Majesty! You're alive! I can't believe it! Is it really you?
Buster: Of course it's me. I'm glade you're safe, too.
Dizzy: We find Buster! Dizzy miss Buster!
Buster: I miss you too, Dizzy. However, we have no time to lose. We have to close the door.
He pulls out his own Keyblade. It looks like Sora's Kingdom Key, except the colors were on the opposite ends. The blade and Keychain were gold and the handles were silver.
Sora: Another Keyblade!
Buster: Now, Sora! It's time for us to close this door for good!
Plucky: But, Buster. Aren't you coming?
Buster: Sadly, I cannot pass to the other side. But it's better that way. One more thing. Tell Babs I'm sorry. I have to do this.
Plucky: I understand.
Dizzy: We gonna miss you, Buster.
Buster: I'll miss you too, buddy.
He then turns to Sora.
Buster: OK, kiddo. It's show time!
Plucky: Quick! Close the door!
Sora: But what about Riku and Buster?
Buster: Don't worry, Sora. Just remember that no matter where you go, there will always be a door to the light.
Sora didn't know what to do, but then he saw Dizzy smile at him.
Dizzy: King Buster is very trustworthy, Sora. You can always count on him.
Riku: Hurry! They're coming!
The gang began to close the door, as it finally moves more easily. Buster smiles at his friends.
Buster: Plucky, Dizzy, thanks for your help. Good-bye.
As the gang pushed the door, Sora hears Riku talking through the crack of the door.
Riku: Take care of her.
Sora nods, as he finally closed the door. Sora jumps back and points his Keyblade into the sky, holding it with both hands. The tip glows brightly, as it prepares to make the seal. Buster took his Keyblade and spins it around, making it glow also.
Buster: Here we go!
Buster points his Keyblade into the sky. The power of the two Keyblade Masters released the energy upon the door, sealing it for good. light surrounds the door, as it continues to get brighter and brighter. Light waves traveled up, surrounding the door. Finally, the door vanished completely, never to be seen again.
Plucky: We're gonna miss you, Your Majesty.
Suddenly, the eight Summons started to glow.
Cyndaquil: Well, that was a real fun adventure.
Chikorita: Now, we have to return to our worlds.
Totodile: I hope we all meet each other again.
Gatomon: I must return to Kari. I'm sure she misses me.
Yoshi: Yoshi gotta return to Peach and the Mario Bros.
Gohan: I must return to mom and dad. Unfortunately, that means studying.
Twilight: I have to return to Canterlot to prepare a wedding.
Hiei: I have to return to my world, too. My companions need me.
The Summons all disappeared in a flash of light, leaving only Sora, Plucky, Dizzy, and Elder-Ham. Sora looks at the two toons and the old hamster with teary eyes.
Plucky: What's wrong, Sora?
Sora: This means the end of our adventures. I'm going to miss you all. I wish we could stay together, but now that the walls will return, we'll never see each other again.
He walks over to Elder-Ham.
Sora: Elder-Ham, I'm going to miss you. You were like a grandpa to me. Very wise, though a bit panicky.
Elder-Ham: You take care of yourself, Sora. Remember to brush your teeth after every meal.
Sora then walks over to Plucky.
Sora: Plucky, I know you can be a bit clumsy and cowardly, but you are a great friend. I'm going to miss you, too.
Plucky: Oh, I'm going to miss you, too. You've been a great friend, too.
Sora and Plucky hugs each other. After they broke their hugs, Sora walks over to Dizzy. Sora's heart was pounding really hard. He knows that he's gonna miss Dizzy most of all. He and Dizzy were like brothers. He didn't want to say good-bye, but he had to.
Sora: Dizzy...I'm...going...to...miss...you!
Dizzy starts crying, too. He ran up to Sora and hugs him.
Dizzy:(Crying)Dizzy...will...miss...Sora...too!
Sora: As long as we never forget each other, we'll live in each other's hearts.
Dizzy: Pinkie swear Dizzy that you never forget him. Promise?
Sora: Promise!
Sora held out his pinkie to Dizzy, as he held out his. The two fingers curved around each other, holding on tightly. The two looks at each other. Their emotions mixed with joy and sorrow. The two have become close, and although they would be broken by the walls, they would always be with each other. After breaking away their fingers, Sora turns around and saw someone by the end of the road. It was Kairi and she was looking around confused. Sora ran towards her. Dizzy wants to follow him, but Plucky stops him, as they watched him ran. Kairi looks at the ground. She noticed sand slowly appearing before her feet. Water slowly slid down the sand, revealing more land. She was still confused about what was happening, when she hears a voice.
Sora: Kairi!
She looks up, her eyes widening with excitement. She saw him coming towards her.
Kairi: Sora!
Sora finally reached Kairi. Upon stopping, he took her hands and smiles. They felt so happy to be with each other after all of this time.
Kairi: You did it, Sora! You really did it!
Sora: Not alone. You helped me, Kairi. When I was lost in the endless river, you came to save me. You helped me find the true light. Now we're together and nothing will ever separate us.
The two blushed at each other. They truly have fallen in love with each other. Slowly they leaned their heads in, their lips slowly making their way towards each other. They felt the deep passion, as they got closer and closer. Nothing could ruin this moment...or so they thought. Suddenly, the ground began to split, as they were ready for a kiss. The two kids were both startled by this. They lost their balance and Kairi was about to fall, but Sora grabs her hand, pulling her back up. Kairi tried to pull Sora over, but was shocked to see he was being forced back.
Kairi: Sora! What's happening?
Sora: The walls are returning. I can't return to you.
Kairi: WHAT? NO! This wasn't suppose to happen!
She tried to go over with Sora, but a powerful force prevented her from doing so. Tears filled up in her eyes.
Kairi: Sora, we're suppose to be together! I don't know what I'm going to do without you!
Sora: Listen to me. Remember when you told me you're always with me? Well, I'm always with you, too.
They began to move further away from each other. Their hands are slowly losing grip.
Sora: No matter how long it takes, no matter how old I get, I will come back to you! I promise!
Kairi: I know you will!
They let go and watched each other sailing away from each other. Kairi wants to stop it from happening, but she was too far away. Then a piece of light lands on her hand. Kairi looks up to see more light falling. Sora looks up as well and smiles. Kairi looks as well, but then she turns around to see palm trees appear behind her, and the sand and the sea returning as well. She turns to Sora, who was about to disappear. He was calling out to her, but she couldn't hear him anymore, as he disappears. She looks down in sadness and then she looks up to see a bunch of lights heading towards the sky, making stars. The worlds have been restored. Kairi watched, as they shot more out and she smiles.
Kairi: Come back soon, Sora.
