Epilogue: Another Side, Another Story
The next morning on Destiny Islands, Kairi explains everything to Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie about everything that happened. They were completely shocked to hear that their friends were still out there.
Wakka: This looks bad, ya?
Selphie: I hope they're OK.
Tidus: Relax, guys. Sora and Riku are the coolest dudes ever. They'll find a way back to the island.
Kairi wanders around the island. She walks over to the secret place, knowing it was the only place she could seek comfort. Inside, she walks through the cave, admiring the pictures on the wall. To her left, she saw the picture she and Sora drew long ago. She gasped upon what she saw. It was the picture of Sora giving the Paopu Fruit to her. She smiles, took a piece of chalk, and drew another Paopu Fruit, giving it to Sora. Finally, she pressed her face against the wall and started to cry. She hopes that one day, he would return.
Back at Acme Castle, Sweetie, Sneezer, and the Warners have returned, but not Buster, Plucky, Dizzy, or Furrball. Babs was worried about Buster, Shirley was worried about Plucky, and Fifi was worried about Furrball. Meanwhile, Montana Max was nowhere to be seen.
Hamtaro, Bijou, and the rest of the Ham-Hams returned to their world. Sweet Paradise has returned, too. The Ham-Hams get to play there everyday. Spat also returns and is still causing trouble, but the Ham-Hams always foiled his plans. The Ham-Hams hoped that Elder-Ham will return one day and they'll never forget Sora.
Mumbo Jumbo and Humba Wumba returned to their world called Isle O' Hags. They reunited with their friends Banjo, Kazooie, Tooty, and many others. They helped Banjo and Kazooie defeat Gruntilda back in their world every time. Mumbo and Wumba hopes to see Sora again.
Olimar, Louie, and the Pikmin have returned to Planet Hocotate. With the money he receives from his studies and discoveries, Olimar opens a dome, where the Pikmin could run free for eternity. Olimar and Louie will never forget Sora and his efforts to bring the Pikmin back to them.
Back in Animal Village, Ai and her friends are still playing around. Ai, Rosie, and Margie are doing their girl stuff, Yu and Alfonso are doing their boy stuff, Tom Nook is still in his store, selling goods, and Tortimer is still running the village. They all miss Sora and hopes to see him again.
Saori returns to Saint Sanctuary and was reunited with Seiya. Seiya was happy to see her again. As usual, he and his friends would protect their world from the forces of evil. Seiya would never forget Sora and his courage to help him bring Saori back.
The Ever Grande Conference is over. Ash, May, and their friends left the Hoenn Region and plans to participate in the Battle Frontier and Pokemon Contests in the Kanto Region. Jessie, James, and Meowth always tried to capture Pikachu and their Pokemon, but ended up getting blasted off every time. Giovanni has begun a new project to create a machine that is suppose to resurrect the dead. It will take about a year to complete. Ash and May will never forget their experiences in the tournaments with Sora and they hope to see him again.
At the Mystic Ruins, Sonic and his friends are enjoying a peaceful life. Unfortunately, Dr. Eggman has returned and is still up to his old tricks, but Sonic always foiled his plans. He's also going on dates with Amy and overcame his fear of her. Sonic hopes to join Sora one day on his adventures.
With the threats of Myotismon and Apocalymon gone, Odaiba is safe for the time being. Kari and Gatomon has returned to the Digidestined. Gatomon also returns her Digivice and crest of light to Kari. T.K. ran up to give Kari a hug and Patamon did the same to Gatomon. The Digidestined and their Digimon remembered the epic battles they faced along with Sora and hopes to see him again.
With Nightmare gone, Dreamland is at peace again. Kirby is still protecting Dreamland from the forces of evil, as well as learning English lessons from Tiff. Meta-Knight and King Dedede also sometimes help Kirby with defeating the forces of evil. Kirby, Tiff, and Tuff also dreams of other worlds they could visit. Kirby and his friends miss Sora and Dizzy and hopes to see them again.
Back in Megaland, Megaman and his friends are keeping the peace. Unfortunately, Dr. Wily has returned and is still wreaking havoc, but Megaman always puts a stop to his evil plans. Roll is also helping Megaman in their plan for next year's robot festival. Megaman hopes to join Sora one day on his adventures.
Back in West City, The Namekians used their Dragon Balls to summon Porunga. They used their wishes to restore Planet Namek, bring back Goku's friends Krillin, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu from the dead, and returned to Namek. Vegeta and Bulma got married and had a son named Trunks. Goku continues training for the next threat and hopes to see Sora again.
Serena and Tuxedo Mask returns to Lunar Tokyo, helping their friends defeat the forces of evil in their world. The other Princesses of Heart also returns to their worlds. Peach returns to the Mushroom Kingdom, Zelda returns to Hyrule, and Krystal returns to the Star Fox team in the Lylat System. Serena and Tuxedo Mask hopes to see Sora again.
The Summons have returned to their own worlds. Team Go-Getters returned to the Air Continent, going on rescue missions, and exploring new dungeons. Yoshi returns to the Mushroom Kingdom, helping the Mario Bros. defeat Bowser every time. Twilight Sparkle returns to Equestria, preparing a wedding in Canterlot, and helping her friends defeat the forces of evil in their world. Hiei returns to the Demon World, reuniting with Yusuke, Kurama, and Kuwabara, and helping them defeat the forces of evil in their world. Yoshi and Twilight will never forget Sora. Team Go-Getters and Hiei hopes to see Sora again.
As for Cloud, Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, and Cid, they have returned home to Hollow Bastion. Leon was impressed with Sora, who defeated Ansem.
Yuffie: He really did it, Leon! He won! I knew that little guy had it in him!
Leon: Sora really is a strong fighter. I had my doubts at first, but I realize now that there was nothing he can't do. It won't be easy to forget him.
Aerith: I miss him, too. He will always be close to our hearts.
Cid and Cloud walks into the room, looking at the library. This was the first time Cloud saw his home world. He was amazed at seeing his home world after nine years.
Cid: Hey, we should get working on rebuilding this dump. Hollow Bastion can't rebuild itself, you know.
Leon: Agreed. Come on, everyone.
Everyone but Cloud and Aerith left the library to begin their plans. Cloud looks at Aerith. He smiles upon seeing his friend alive and well. Aerith had tears streaming down her face.
Aerith: We were so worried for you.
Cloud: I know, but I'm here now. Sephiroth may have been my darkness, but friends like you are my light and I'll never lose my light again.
She looks up at him and smiles. He smiles back too. A feeling of friendship was something he lost a long time ago. Now he wanted the memories of his dark past to fade away forever. He wanted the light to comfort him, he wanted to learn the meaning of joy, happiness, and friendship. He and his friends will never forget Sora and his friends.
As for Riku and Buster, no one knows where they are. Some say they found a way out of the Door of Light, while others think the darkness absorbed them. One thing was sure though, they both are alive and are trying some way to go home and restore peace.
And as for Sora, after being separated from Kairi, he was reunited with Plucky, Dizzy, and Elder-Ham. They were overjoyed to have their friend back, but were wondering why they didn't return to their homes. They knew something was wrong. Was the door sealed incorrectly? Was it the right door? Did they not have all the requirements? Whatever the reason, they knew they wouldn't stop searching, no matter how long it took.
Their journey continues, as they walked down a giant green field on a yellow pathway. It was a long path that led down the long field of endless green grass that extends for miles and miles. They didn't know how they ended up here, nor did they know how long it would be before the trail ends. Sora had his hands behind his back, looking at the blue clear sky. The sun was nice and warm for them, too. Elder-Ham was on Dizzy's head, since he was too old to walk long distances. Sora looks at the endless fields, seeing no sign of a town or sign. They was silence for a long time, until Plucky finally spoke up.
Plucky: So, what do we do now?
Sora: The only thing we can do is find Riku and Buster.
Elder-Ham: I say that shouldn't be too hard.
Dizzy: But how we find giant Door to Light?
Everyone stops for a moment, realizing they had no lead or anything to find Kingdom Hearts. The four drops their heads down in disappointment, sighing heavily. Sora then hears something rustling in the bush. Dizzy got scared and hid behind Plucky. Sora looks up, noticing a bush with something rustling in it.
Sora: Who's there?
All of a sudden, a small blue cat appears. He puts his hands up in the air.
Cat: Please don't kill me!
Plucky: Furrball?
Furrball: Plucky? Dizzy? And who's this guy?
Dizzy: Where have Furrball been?
Furrball: I was passing through here and I found this.
He pulls up a letter. The others gasped, as they saw the seal on it. The seal has a bunny on it.
Sora: What is it?
Dizzy: That mark on letter is Buster's seal!
Elder-Ham: That means Buster can't be too far!
Sora: Furrball, do you know where Buster is then?
Furrball: Yes. As a matter of fact, follow me!
He ran off. Everyone looks at each other in excitement. In fact, they were enjoying every moment of it. They knew that the journey would never end, but they would enjoy every minute of it. Life, it offers the greatest of things, the joy of it, the feel of it. As long as they looked at the bright side of things, nothing could stop them from completing their mission. Sora happily ran forward, ready to follow Furrball. He turns to his friends with his famous smile, telling them to come on.
Sora: Let's go, guys! There's a whole new world out there waiting to be explored!
The gang ran at full speed, running down the narrow path, as they followed Furrball. They laughed merrily, as they ran down the path. They felt the joy in their eyes, the wind blowing in their faces, their hearts pounding from all the running. As they continued to run down the path, they all cheered loudly, showing the happiness they were experiencing of a new adventure.
Elder-Ham: Onward, I say!
Dizzy: Dizzy loves adventure!
Plucky: Here we go!
Sora chuckles with his famous smile, as they ran on and on. Far ahead, they noticed the path extending forever, but that wouldn't stop them from their journey. A long journey that will lead them to new adventures. Sora didn't know what awaits for him on the horizon, but whatever it was, he would be ready to face any challenge, along with the Keyblade and his friends. As they ran into the sunset, Sora hears a familiar voice again.
Remember Sora...you will be the one who opens the door to the light.
Another Side...Another Story...
In an unknown city, it was raining hard. It was nighttime, the neon lights kept the city alive. Many of the lights in the windows were also lit up. Suddenly, a black-hooded figure was walking through the city. He wore the same black coat like the one back in Hollow Bastion. This one was different. His face could be seen, but his eyes were covered by his blonde hair. He seems to be around Riku's age.
He slowly walks through the city. His feet stepping on the puddles. He hears the loud booming sounds of thunder throughout the city. As he reached the center of the city, he looks up at one building that stood out. It was a skyscraper with T.V. monitors above it. On the bottom floor of the building was a giant door and a bright light flashing out of it. There were two stars on each side of the buildings that went down each end of the building. Around it were gargoyle statues and above it was neon lights with a star in the middle.
Soon a bunch of Shadows came out of the dark waves from the ground. However, they weren't the same Shadows Sora first encountered. These Shadows seem to stand on both feet, their muscles much bigger than their previous forms, and their antennas much longer. They are called Neo Shadows and there are hundreds of them. They appeared from all sides of the area, covering every ground.
They were ambushing the young man from all corners. It was a thousand to one in this battle. He appears to be calm though. It seems this person was up to the challenge on taking on an endless number of them. He stood his ground, his face showing a sense of alertness. Looking up again, the person noticed somebody else up there. The person who was up there was another figure, but this one wasn't wearing a hood, but still wore the same black coat. He has familiar long white hair like Riku. Was it Riku? Nobody knows, as the blindfold covers his eyes.
This blindfolded person seems to see, considering he was watching the hooded boy's every movement. The young man turns his head back to see he was totally surrounded. The odds seemed slim for the mysterious person. One of the Shadows got on it's hands, as if it was ready to pounce. It then leaps towards the hooded figure with it's deadly sharp claws out.
As it got close, the hooded boy pulls out two Keyblades. One was Oathkeeper, the other was Oblivion. He slashed the Heartless away. The blindfolded person stretched his arms into the air, his long face looking up at the sky. Then rain passed, as the clouds in the sky moves away, revealing a meteor show that pours down from the sky.
A giant Heartless symbol in the shape of purple fire surrounds the hooded boy, which caused the Shadows to back away. The blindfolded figure slowly took his blindfold off, getting a good chance to see the hooded figure below. The dual wielder slowly looks up at the blindfolded figure, glancing at him for a few moments. He then spoke up with a harsh tone in his voice.
?: Where's Sora?
Another Side...Another Story...Deep Dive...
We then return to Sora, who was on a crossroad of the same dirt path he has been traveling on. He looks at the night's sky, staring deeply into space. He then looks at the path. He looks like he was making a choice about which path to take.
Utter Silence
Suddenly, we zoomed out on what appears to be a piece of paper. Zooming further out, it turns out to be a message in a bottle, floating in the water.
A fragmented tale.
A world without you.
The eyes will close.
The bottle slowly drifts up to shore, gently pressed against the sand. It was a beach that was unlike anything seen before. The moon illuminates the beach with a pale light. The beach itself was surrounded by sinister-looking, giant branches that bent halfway over the area on each side. On the water were giant stones with giant, pointed ends that stood tall like a mountain.
A giant rock a bit bigger than an actual person rested on the beach. All of a sudden, the middle seems to flash with what appeared to be a Heartless symbol. The flash lasted for about a glimpse of a second and then disappeared. After it disappeared, a hooded figure appears from behind the rock. He appears to be the same person Sora encounters from Hollow Bastion. He was focused on something as he looks ahead. The wind blew lightly through the air, giving off a cool breeze. The wind slightly blew the figure's hood up, revealing his eye. A strange yellow eye that resembles the yellow eyes that the Heartless have. The figure slowly walks towards the beach.
Something so natural.
We return to the hooded boy fighting the Shadows.
The memory beyond
Suddenly, he jumps so high and the Shadows followed him in the air. He slashed a bunch of them and threw his Keyblades like boomerangs at the Heartless, wiping out some of them, and returns to his hands, as he lands back down on the ground. Looking out, he saw hundreds of Heartless from every corner surrounding the entire part of the city.
Something so simple.
The dual wielder looks up at the top of the building, remembering the blindfolded person from earlier. The blindfolded boy looks over the edge to see the dual wielder, his white hair blowing in the wind, a small smirk appearing across his face. The hooded figure looks at the boy with the blindfold on for a few moments. The hooded boy then jumps onto the building and ran right up it, defying the laws of gravity. He held the Keyblades out at his sides, as he began to pick up speed. The Heartless not giving up, pursued against the Keyblade wielder. The Heartless appears on the building, trying to block his path. The Keyblade wielder was not too worried though, as he slashed through them. More and more joins in the chase, as he continues to slash through the swarm.

Where's Sora?
We must find him.
The dual wielder held the Oblivion Keyblade out, as a line of Neo Shadows appear before him. They all leapt at him and the boy throws it at them, cutting through them, piece by piece. The blindfolded boy dove off the edge of the building.

Ansem's other report.
A creation born of ignorance.
The Keyblade spins past the monitors, as it reached the top. The blindfolded boy began to fall down the building. On the way down, he caught the Keyblade and continues to fall. He began to pick up speed, as he fell faster.

Behind the Darkness/Door to the Light.
The two figures slowly came at each other at the screen. As they get closer, they exchange glances at each other. The blindfolded boy also noticed the dual wielder replaced Oblivion with the Kingdom Key.

The Secret Place.
His voice...It's left me.
This time...I'll fight.
The two figures passed each other, one still running on the building, while the other fell. It became even more strange, as flashbacks of the events taking place here began to show up. The first image shows a giant building with the meteor shower.

A world between = A forgotten world.
The gathering.
The next images showed the blindfolded boy putting his arms into the air, the hooded figure surrounded by the Heartless symbol, the hooded figure talking. Warping back to the present, the blindfolded boy continues to fall. Another flash revealed more strange phrases and numbers.

The third enemy = Nobody.
Who is Nobody, you ask? They are the nonexistent.
The dual wielder continues to run up the building. More flashbacks appeared, including a flash of blue crackling energy from the dual wielder clashing his Keyblades together. A black and white scene of Sora from his opening dream, opening his eyes, a quick red flash, Sora leaning his head back in the same scene.

ENDLESS.
What took you so long, Kairi?
Can we do it? Against that?
More flashbacks with the two mysterious figures passing each other, black and white image of Sora falling with a meteor shower behind him, Riku holding his hand out, Kairi looking up. Another flash shows the strange beach from the beginning of the dream. The hooded figure from the rock walks up to another hooded figure, who sits on a giant stone. A T.V. fuzzed faded to another black and white scene of Sora, more red energy, the blindfolded boy falling.
HEARTLESS.
We have come for you, my liege.
You are the source of all Heartless.
A fuzzy fade of the dual wielder running up the building, more black and white Sora, the blindfolded boy falling again.

METAMORPHOSIS.
Sora?
Sora...why?
Your Highness! But why?
Flashes of Kairi and Sora reaching out to each other, raindrops hitting the ground, the dual wielder looking up at the building, Destiny Islands, where an older Kairi with longer hair watches for a meteor fall down from the sky.

The third key.
The blindfolded boy fell down the rest of the way, killing Heartless, as he went and hit the ground.

What is this place?

A spire was seen with lightning brightening the place. A shrouded figure spins in from the sky and lands with a flash, revealing it to be Buster, wearing the same coat as the other hooded figures, his light blue ears sticking out in between the hoods. He held his Keyblade out with a glare in his eyes.
Tiny Toondom Hearts
I went to see him.
The hooded figure from the beach approached the other hooded figure, who sat on a rock. The figure on the rock stares at the glowing moon, he seems to be in deep thought at the moment. The other hooded figure with the glowing eyes awaited patiently for him to respond. Everything was quiet. Too quiet. Finally, the hooded figure on the rock turns to the glowing eyes one. The first hooded figure mumbles something, but was not heard.
He looks just like you.
The screen fades into an endless ocean that extends as far as the eye could see. There are clouds covering the sky. Something floated in from the air. A figure who flew at a fast pace. That figure was Sora. He flew over the ocean. His body unconscious. He was lifeless, as he flew through the endless ocean. He flew away from view, until he was long gone. The words appeared one final time.
Everything is coming back to me, the true...
