I jolted awake in my bed and looked around my bedroom, wondering what had woken me up. I felt a stinging pain in my foot and I quickly pulled my leg towards my body. "Ow!" I turned on my bedside lamp and relaxed when I saw Hana staring at me with her wide eyes. "Hana." I got out of my bed and picked her up, ignoring her loud mewls at me. I placed her on her tower and walked back to my bed to go back to sleep. I turned off the light and cuddled into my pillow. I closed my eyes and tried to lull myself to sleep.

Right at the brink of sleep, I felt another bite on my foot and I quickly sat up. "Hana!" I turned the lamp back on and she hissed at me. "No! You don't bite me." She swatted at my foot and I pulled it away from her. "Hana, stop it." She mewled at me and I rolled my eyes. "Are you hungry? Is that it?" After hearing that, her eyes got wide and she lied down and started to wiggle around on her back. "Okay. Come on, Hana." I stood up and she immediately followed my trail.

I opened one of the drawers of my dresser that I had filled with a variety of cat food and picked up and can. Once seeing it, Hana started to meow loudly at me and rub her head against my legs. "I know." I opened the can and picked up her empty food bowl to empty its contents into it. I placed her bowl on the mat and she immediately started to eat. I threw away the now empty can before grabbing her water bowl to refill it in the kitchen.

I made sure my door was closed before quickly making my way through the hallways. After bumping into the walls a couple of times and almost falling down the stairs, I finally reached the kitchen. I turned on our water filter on our sink and began to clean and fill up Hana's bowl. I felt a small pang in my stomach and I figured that I should find something to snack on before trying to go back to bed. After setting down the water bowl, I walked over to our refrigerator and opened it to look through it.

"Miya?" I jumped at the voice and saw Nikko standing at the doorway, dressed in a tracksuit. "What are you doing awake?"

"Hana was attacking my feet again. This time she was hungry." I told him before turning back to look back into the fridge.

"That must suck." I heard him come up behind me. "You hungry?"

I shrugged. "I figured that I should eat now."

"How about I make us both something before I go?"

"Where are you going?"

"It's Sunday, I have a private Kendo lesson with Mori-senpai."

I perked up at the name and looked up at him. "With Taka-senpai?" He nods. "Can I come?"

"Oh, no, no, no, no, no."

"Why not?"

"I offered you breakfast, not to come with me."

I closed the fridge and pressed my back against it so he couldn't get to the inside. "Oh, come on. I think you're being selfish."

"Selfish, really? I think you're being selfish. You're not coming with me, Emiya, and that's final."

I pout. "Fine." I walked around Nikko and grabbed Hana's water bowl before leaving the kitchen. Of course, not before sticking my tongue out at him.

I quickly made my way up the now lit up house to my room. I carefully made my way in and set the bowl down for Hana to start drinking. I ran into my closet and picked out what to wear for the day before running into the bathroom to clean myself up.

I checked my appearance in the mirror before placing my clothes in the laundry bin and leaving the bathroom. I made my way back to my closet and pulled out the pet carrier I got for Hana. "Hana~" I called her in a sing-song voice. I set the carrier on my bed and picked up her toy mouse, which was her favorite, shaking it so the bell from the inside could sound. I saw her head pop out from one of the holes of the cat structure before she jumped out and started to meow loudly as she walked towards me. I placed the mouse inside the carrier and watched as she hesitated before hopping onto my bed and climbing into the carrier. I closed it up and made sure she was okay before grabbing my bag and adding some food for later along with an extra bowl for her. I put on my bag and picked up the carrier, smiling as Hana meowed. I left my room and made my way towards my parents' bedroom.

I stopped in front of the door and knocked. I heard some shifting and a low groan before one of them answered with a "come in."

I slowly opened the door and made my way towards their bed. I stopped in front of my father. "Papa?"

"Emiya?" My mother answered instead. "Don't bother your father, he's sleeping. What do you want?"

"I want to talk to papa." I placed my hand on his shoulder and gently shook him, ignoring my mother's pleas to just talk to her instead. "Papa?"

He groaned and opened his eyes slightly before closing them again. "Emiya? What's wrong, sweetie?"

"Did you know that Nikko is leaving?"

He hummed and stayed silent for a beat or two before responding. "He has his lessons on Sunday."

"Yeah, with Taka-senpai."

"Taka-huh?"

"Taka-senpai is my friend and I want to go see him, but Nikko won't let me."

He furrowed his eyebrows. "Why not?"

"Because he's a big meanie." He chuckles slightly. "Can I go with him?"

"Emiya, if Nikko says no, there must be a reason. So, no, you can't." I heard my mom say.

"Papa, can I go with him?"

He snorts. "Yeah, that's fine."

My mother smacks his shoulder and I pulled out my phone to record his voice. "I'm sorry, papa, can you repeat that?"

"You can go with Nikko to his lesson, Emiya."

I end the recording and place my phone back into my pocket. "Thank you, papa. I'll leave you alone now." I heard him chuckle as I left the room.

As I closed the door I heard my mother smack my father once more and tell him angrily, "You baby her too much."

I giggled and made my way down the hall and back down the stairs. "Oh, Nikko-nii~" I carefully placed Hana down on the ground and walked into the kitchen. I sat myself down on one of the tall stools before intertwining my fingers and placing my chin on my hands.

He glanced over at me and rolled his eyes. "Emiya, I already told you that you're not coming with me," he told me before shoving whatever he was eating in his mouth.

I smiled at him. "I beg to differ." I pulled out my phone and played the recording on my phone.

His face twisted up in disbelief. "No, you can't pull the "dad card" on me."

"I already did."

"That's not fair!"

"Why don't you want me to come with you? Taka-senpai is my friend too, you know."

"It doesn't matter why. I said "no.""

"And dad said "yes.""

Nikki rubbed his face and I could see it start to become red. He was starting to become mad. "It's supposed to be my lesson with Mori-senpai that is private."

"Why are you being so difficult?"

"Why are you being so difficult?"

"Is it so wrong to just want to see one of my friends? I haven't seen him in a while; why are you so against it?"

"Because I don't want you falling in love with him!"

I froze and blinked at him. I felt a smile break out on my face and I began to laugh out loud. "Fall in love with him? Nikko, are you crazy?"

His face grew red. "It's not funny."

"Even if I did, why should it matter to you?"

"I don't want to have this conversation," he quickly said as he picked up his used dishes to put them in the sink.

"Why not?"

"Emiya." His tone was harsh and I was taken back. He had never spoken to me like that.

I frowned. I pushed myself off the chair and began to leave the kitchen. "I'll be waiting at the car." Before he could respond, I left him alone in the kitchen. I carefully grabbed the carrier that held Hana, trying not to scare her, and headed towards the back of the house to find Nikko's personal car. I stood next to the passenger side, waiting patiently for Nikko to come out.

I felt Hana begin to move around and mewl impatiently. "It's okay, Hana. We're not going to the vet this time." I heard the car door unlock and I quickly pulled the door open to get inside to get comfortable. I set Hana in my lap and clicked in my seatbelt before the driver's side door opened and Nikko hopped in.

He adjusted himself in his seat before he froze. "What is that?"

"What?"

He pointed at my lap. "That."

"Oh! It's just Hana."

"Hana? You are not bringing your cat with you."

"Why not? Taka-senpai saved her and I want him to see how she's doing."

"Emiya, go put your cat back."

"Nikko, if you keep on arguing with me, you're going to be late to practice."

He furrowed his eyebrows and shook his head. "Fine, but only this one time."

I smiled victoriously and looked out the window as Nikko began to drive out of the driveway, beginning to think to myself to pass the time.

It had been almost a week since my last interaction with Hikaru. I was too afraid to go up to him again. I didn't want him to get mad at me like last time and actually restrict me from seeing his brother. He said something though, something that still continues to bother me. "One of my jobs is to keep girls like you happy. That's one of the rules." "Girls like me?" And rules for what? Him and his brother or is it just moral for him? Hikaru is so different from Kaoru, and Kaoru is so different from Hikaru. They're both very interesting in their own ways. I had seen Kaoru around, but I didn't dare to tell him what happened between Hikaru and I. If I wanted him to trust me, I had to make sure I don't unintentionally ruin his relationship with his brother. He did say that they weren't on good terms over something. Maybe I could help them… or would that make him mad because I'm interfering. He did say that if I needed something from him, to let him know, but it was only a one-time thing. I could use that favor to help him, but what could I ask from him to help? Or should I just keep it for later when I really need it?

"C'mon, Emiya."

I perked up at my name. "Huh?"

"We're here. Come on." Nikko was already out of his car with his belongings in hand. He tossed his keys onto the seat. "Lock the door, will you? I gotta go before Mori-senpai makes me do twice the exercises for being late."

"Hai!" Nikko quickly made his way towards the back of the manor.

I got myself out of the car, careful with Hana, and made sure I had everything with me, including Nikko's keys, before locking the car. I placed his keys in my bag and adjusted my hold on the carrier before making my way towards the direction Nikko went.

I took my time walking towards the back to admire everything that surrounded me. The estate was beautiful. It was surrounded by nature, both plants and animals. Everything was full of life. I slowed down my pace and looked around in awe. Honestly, I was a little jealous of how it all looked; Warm and soothing. I would love to live in a house like this.

My attention was grabbed by people talking nearby and I moved my gaze towards them where I saw Nikko speaking to Taka-senpai, well, more like apologizing to him. I smiled and picked up my pace to meet them. "Hi, Taka-senpai!"

He looked at me in surprise before smiling softly and nodding as a greeting. "Emiya."

Nikko laughed awkwardly and scratched the back of his neck. "Yeah, I'm sorry about her too. She insisted on coming along with her cat."

At those words, I saw Taka-senpai's eyes move from my face to my hands. He let out a small hum and kneeled down to take the carrier from my hands. "It's fine," he told him as he placed the carrier on the ground to unlock it for Hana.

I watched as Hana cautiously stepped out and peered up at Taka-senpai with wide eyes. After a few seconds, she moved to gently rub her head against his knee. He smiles and picks her up. I giggled at how small she looked in his hands. He smiles and allows her to cling onto his clothes. "Would you like some tea?"

"I don't mind getting some afterwards," Nikko replied.

"I would love some!" I chimed.

Taka-senpai nods and turns on his heel to walk towards the manor. I picked up Hana's carrier and followed him alongside Nikko. He pulls open the door to reveal a dojo and I gasped in awe. "Wow! It looks so cool!" I stated as I took off my shoes before entering.

Nikko hummed in agreement. "This is where we usually practice, but sometimes we do our lessons outside if Mori-senpai knows when the mornings are good for the lesson." He began to set his things down in the corner, but I continued to follow Taka-senpai, who quickly made his way across the room to open a different door. He held it open and motioned for me to go inside. I dug through my bag and pulled out my usual slippers to wear before following him. "Anzai, come."

Nikko and I both perked up, but I relaxed when I realized he was speaking to my brother. "Huh? But-"

"Come."

Nikko's shoulders visibly drooped down as he made his way towards us. After passing inside, Taka-senpai led us to a small room where he motioned for us to sit at a low table. The room seemed like it was made to be a tea room for guests. After closing the door, he placed Hana on the floor so she could be free to roam around.

He opened a small cabinet and began to thoroughly look through it as I carefully set my belongings next to where I was planning to sit. I giggled at Hana who was rubbing herself against Taka-senpai's leg as I took my seat.

Nikko and I watched Taka-senpai silently as he made the tea. I saw Nikko lean toward me from the corner of my eye. "Emiya, I'm supposed to be practicing," he whispered.

"Then go practice."

"No. I'm not leaving you alone with him."

"Then shut up."

He stammered then crossed his arms. "Kaya is rubbing off on you. I don't like it."

"Is there a problem?" Taka-senpai asked as he set down a set of teacups and began pouring the tea.

Nikko looked at him with wide eyes. "Well, uh, er-"

"Thank you so much for the tea," I chimed in.

"Yes, uh, thank you."

I gently blew on the tea to cool it down before taking a sip.

Nikko began to tap lightly on the table. "Aren't we supposed to be practicing? It's supposed to be my lesson," he spoke quietly.

I nod. "Yeah, he's right. He did come here for his lesson with you. I don't mind waiting until you two are done."

Taka-senpai looks down into his cup before taking another sip. After a beat of silence, he spoke a name, "Satoshi."

Nikko and I shared a look of confusion before it changed to shock when the door slammed open and somebody else entered. He looked similar to Taka-senpai, except younger and ready to burst with how much excitement radiating off of him. "Yes, Taka?!"

Taka-senpai motions towards Nikko. "Can you teach Nikko's private lesson?"

"Huh? B-but Mori-senpai-" Nikko started off.

"Can I?" He placed his hand on his chest. "Are you really entrusting me with this task?"

Taka-senpai nods with an approving hum.

The boy gasped. "I will teach in your honor, Taka-nii!"

I giggled as I watched Satoshi force Nikko out of the room to start his lesson. I turned to Taka-senpai who wore a small smile on his lips. "Was that your brother?" He nods. "You can tell, you two look alike."

"I would be worried if we didn't."

I giggled at his words, but stopped when I heard my stomach grumble loudly. I sheepishly laughed to get rid of the awkwardness of it. I had forgotten to eat before leaving. "Sorry."

"Are you hungry?"

"I guess so…" He moved to stand and I immediately panicked. I grabbed his sleeve to stop him. "No, no. You don't have to get me anything. I forgot, it's my fault. I'll just make sure to eat something when I get back home." He watches me carefully before shaking his head. He took my hand that was holding onto his sleeve and brought it up to his lips, placing a gentle kiss on the back. I felt my body warm up and I pulled my hand away which only got me a look of surprise from him. I held the hand against my chest with my other on top, tracing where he had kissed with my thumb. "Sorry, I-I wasn't expecting that."

He pursed his lips and averted his gaze from me. He takes a second before looking at me again and nods. "I'll be back." He finally gets up from his spots and leaves the room.

Now, I was alone… with the exception of Hana, wherever she decided to hide for today. I looked down at the hand he kissed. Why did he do that? I tried shrugging it off and decided to focus on finishing my tea first. Hana hopped onto my lap and I began to gently stroke her head, causing her to start purring. I sipped at my tea, glancing around the small room.

I finished the last bit of tea and set down my cup. I leaned back a bit, propping myself up with my hands, and waited, continuing to look around the room. I sighed and let myself slowly fall to lie down. It was boring waiting for him to come back.

An idea popped into my head and I stood up. I'm sure Taka-senpai wouldn't mind if I looked around. Hana meowed at me for disturbing her. I gently 'shh'ed' her. "I'll be right back." I whispered. I pressed a kiss to her head, earning a small whine from her. I left the room, careful not to let Hana escape and began to retrace the steps of where we entered. I found the dojo we entered through and took off my slippers, placing them beside the door before walking around.

I took small steps around the dojo as I looked around in awe. It was amazing! It was so cool that Nikko was doing this.

I bumped into a human-like figure, interrupting my thoughts and making me almost jump out of my skin. I saw that it was a dummy and I sighed in relief. I poked at it and giggled. They definitely used these to practice. I glanced around and found where both actual and practice swords were. I snuck over to the practice swords and took a peek at them. I carefully picked one up and walked back over to the dummies. I grabbed the hilt as best as I could and lifted it up halfway above the ground. I gently hit one of the nearby dummies with the sword and giggled at it.

"Emiya?"

I jumped and tried to hide the sword behind my back. "Oh! Taka-senpai, you're back."

He gave me a look. He didn't need to say anything for me to know what he was asking: "What were you doing?"

"Um, I wasn't doing anything."

He sighed and walked towards me. "You aren't wearing the proper attire." He carefully grabbed the sword and took it away from me.

I flushed, thinking I was in trouble. "I'm sorry."

He placed the sword back into its place and I watched as he began to look through the others before grabbing another one, a smaller one. He walked back to me and held it towards me, hilt first. I looked at him before slowly grabbing it with both my hands. It was much easier to hold than the other one.

He held the end of the sword as he reached over and gently moved my hands, assumingly to place them correctly. "Good." I smiled at him as he took a step back.

"Okay, what do I do?"

He was silent. He began to walk around me slowly adjusting my position so I could stand correctly. When he was finished me moved to stand in front of me once more.

"What is Kendo?"

The question caught me by surprise. "Uh, it's a form of martial arts?" He made no movement to tell me if I was right or not. "It… um, also incorporates swordsmanship…" I felt myself grow red under his gaze. "Honestly, I don't really know anything else about it."

He took a moment before nodding. He slowly took the sword from my hands. "You aren't ready," he told me as he placed the sword back into its spot.

I felt my shoulders droop. "Okay, I understand."

He walked back to me and placed a hand on my shoulder. "Maybe another time." He began to lead me out of the dojo and back to the room I was in before. He opened the door for me and I stepped back inside, sitting back in my spot as Hana hopped back into my lap.

I saw Taka-senpai pour two cups of tea and bring a bowl of nattō. "Oh~! Thank you! It looks delicious."

He smiled at me and hummed before beginning to drink his second cup of tea. A silence fell between us, but it was comfortable. It felt natural. I continued to eat the meal while stroking Hana's head as she slowly drifted to sleep. I didn't know how much time passed between the two of us enjoying one another's presence, but after a bit, I finished eating.

"Thank you, Taka-senpai. I really appreciate it."

He hummed and reached over to pick up the dishes, setting them aside to be out of the way.

The door slid open as he did so, revealing a very tired looking Nikko and a satisfied Satoshi. "We finished!"

I heard a chuckle come from Taka-senpai. "Thank you."

"Okay," Nikko gasped for air. "Yeah, we're done. We're leaving."

"Awww. Already?" I asked.

He nodded furiously. "Yes, we have to go."

"Okay." I carefully picked Hana up from my lap and reached for her carrier to put her inside. I began to gather my belongings together before moving to stand up.

Taka-senpai followed suit and began to walk us out while Satoshi speedily talked about the lesson he had with Nikko with him.

I walked alongside Nikko, giggling at his face. "Was it that bad?"

"It was horrible. I can't wait to go home."

When we made it outside, I replaced my slippers with my shoes and followed Nikko to his car. When it popped into view I turned to Taka-senpai. "Bye, Taka-senpai. It was nice to see you again."

He smiles and nods. "You too, Emiya."

I moved to hug him and I had to bite my lip to stifle a laugh from hearing Nikko sputter angrily. "I'll be in the car," he grumbled.

I pulled away from him and smiled. "I guess we have to get going now."

"Make sure to visit again. I'll have something for you."

"Something for me?" He nods. "Oh, I'm so excited now! Don't tell me, I want it to be a surprise. I opened the door and waved at the brothers. "Bye! I'll see you next time!" I got into the seat and made myself comfortable before clicking on the seatbelt.

"What was that about?" Nikko asked as he began to drive us home.

"Huh? Oh! Taka-senpai says that he has something to give me next time I visit! I'm so excited for it!"

"Oh, yeah. He knows that your birthday is coming up so he wanted to give you tickets to go on a trip somewhere. I don't think he's decided yet, so…"

"Aww, he is? That's really sweet." I paused. "Nikko! Why would you tell me that? Now, I have to pretend that I didn't know about it."

"Ah, sorry," he told me, nonchalantly. I continued to look at him with a pout. "I mean, you already know this, Miya. I'm horrible at keeping secrets. So, it's not my fault you asked." I felt myself gasp before I could stop it. He looked at me with a look of surprise. "What? What's wrong?"

What was wrong? I had just realized something that I should've known long ago. Like he just said, Nikko isn't all that good at keeping things to himself, both personal and secrets from others, at all and I knew this. I knew this! I rubbed my forehead. How could I be so stupid? I could've had the answers all along. "No, no, it's nothing," I reassured him. "I just… remembered something."

"What?"

"Just, you know, the question I ask you guys almost everyday."

"What? When are we eating? I know, you're almost as bad as Kaya."

"Not that!" I felt my face flush red.

"Okay, then what?"

"What… are you hiding from me?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, you, Mama, Papa, and even Kaya are hiding something from me."

Nikko paled. "N-no, of course we're not!"

"Y-yes, of course you are," I mocked him. "I mean, come on, Nikko! I'm not dumb. If you can tell Korra and even Kyoya-senpai, you can tell me."

"No, you don't understand-"

"Then make me understand." He pressed his lips together and looked at his hands that were gripping the steering wheel. He was trying to keep himself quiet. "Nikko." He continued to keep his gaze fixed on his hands. "You know you can't keep secrets from me." I leaned closer to him. "What are you hiding? You're not going to let your sweet, little sister struggle with finding answers are you?"

I saw him swallow thickly. "I… I'm not allowed to say."

"Why not?"

"Because Mama made me promise."

"Oh, so it's mama who's hiding something from me?" He opened and closed his mouth, his eyes widening. I shrugged and unbuckled myself from the seat. "I guess I'll just have to ask her," I told him as I moved to open the door.

"She wants to marry you off!"

I immediately froze and looked at him. "What?"

He slid down his seat as he let out a large sigh of relief. "That feels so good to finally say it out loud. That was so hard to keep in."

"Mama is trying to marry me off?" I exclaimed, feeling myself become upset.

He grimaced and slowly turned at me with a look of regret. "Uh… no?"

I huffed and pushed open the door. "That's absolutely ridiculous." I quickly got out and slammed the car door closed. I held Hana close to me so she would move around as much as I ran up to the house.

I heard him scramble out of his car from behind me. "No, wait, Emiya! Don't tell mama that I told you!" I heard Nikko trail behind me, begging.

The back door opened and we were greeted by Suki-san. "Hello, Mistress Emiya, Young Master."

"Hi, Suki-San." I held out the carrier. "Do you mind bringing Hana up to my room?"

She gently took it in her hands and smiled at me. "Of course. Anything for you, M-"

I sped off towards the entryway. "Mama! Papa!"

I felt a hand grab my shoulder and pull me to stop. "Emiya, stop." I turned to look at Nikko. "There's no need to overreact. You're gonna end up making this way bigger than it actually is."

"Oh, right. I definitely shouldn't act like you towards absolutely anything."

"Wha-! What's that supposed to mean?!"

"Mistress Emiya," Suki-San came up to us. "If you're looking for your parents, they should be in your father's study."

"Thank you." I pulled away from Nikko's grasp and ran up the flight of stairs towards the study. "Mama! Papa!"

I heard Nikko close behind me, trying to get me to stop, but instead of listening, I broke into a sprint down the hall and up the second set of stairs. I quickly made it to the study and I opened the door to see both of my parents with a shocked expression.

My father smiled at me before turning back to his computer. "Emiya, you scared us. How was your day with your brother?"

My mother crossed her arms. "Emiya, you know better than that. You're supposed to knock before-"

"Why are you trying to marry me off?!"

"Mama, I'm sorry," I heard Nikko gasp for air from behind me. "I tried to stop her-" he gasped for air, "but she's really fast."

My mother pinched the bridge of her nose before looking back at me. "And what makes you believe that that's true?"

"Because Nikko told me!"

"What's happening?" I heard Kaya come up from behind me.

"I told her about the marriage."

"Figures. Took you longer than I expected."

"Okay, and just because Nikko told you doesn't mean it's true," my mother told me.

I saw my father shake his head in disbelief. "Ohori, there's no need to deny it anymore. She already knows."

"Shut up, Daichi."

"You didn't answer my question. Why are you trying to marry me off?"

"Oh, you're overreacting, Emiya."

"Mama-"

"No, I'm done with this conversation," she told me as she turned away from me.

"She wants to do it to raise our status in the industry and get us more money," my father said.

"What?" I asked in disbelief. "You can't be serious." I looked between the two of them.

"Why does it matter that greatly to you what we're doing?" My mother asked.

"Why does it matter? Because it's my life, not yours!"

"Don't you dare speak to me that way, Emiya! I am your mother and you are a child, my child! If I tell you to do something, I expect you to shut up and do it! I'm sick and tired of you acting like a baby."

"You're the one acting like a child if you just think what you say just immediately goes," I told her. "A selfish, greedy child."

"Excuse me!"

"Ohori, please, calm down. All of that is very unnecessary-"

She turned to face my father. "No! No! Don't you dare tell me to "calm down." She is like this because of you!"

"At least I'm not the one who is restricting her from having a choice!" Kaya and I exchanged a look of shock. Our father rarely raised his voice. "You're practically forcing her into a marriage before she even finishes high school. If she wants to marry right now, then she will; if she doesn't, she doesn't. We've already discussed this."

"It's not in your power to decide that for her, now is it?"

"Now, you hold on a minute-"

"Everything you have is under my name. I didn't have to share what I earned myself with you, but I did.

"Ohori-"

"I gave you what you have today and don't think for even a minute that I wouldn't take everything away from you. Without me, you would be nothing!" She turned to me. "And you," she narrows her eyes. "If you ever speak out of turn with me one more time, you don't listen to me, even if you dare to ignore me like you did this morning, you will be out of this house."

"What?" Kaya exclaimed. "That isn't fair."

"Shut up, Kaya!" She took a deep breath and pressed the tips of her fingers against her temple. "Go to your room, Emiya," she told me.

"But-" I tried to protest.

"Go to your room!"

I felt my face become hot and I huffed at her angrily. I briskly walked past Nikko and Kaya and down the hall. I felt like I was about to explode with how mad I was. I was absolutely furious at my mother. It was ridiculous! It's absolutely ridiculous that she thinks she can absolutely control my life like that!

I bursted into my room, seeing Hana hiss at me. I slammed my door closed as hard as I could to show how angry I was at her. I threw myself onto the bed face first, taking in everything I just learned. I felt anger bubble through my body again and I moved to hide myself under the covers to cover myself. I felt angry tears prick at my eyes and I placed the palms of my hands over them to try to stop. I felt myself let out a loud sob, and once I began, I couldn't stop. I kept on crying and crying. I don't know for how long, but it felt endless.
