When Pitch returns, the 5 main characters must seek help from the mane 6, mane 7 and many more new characters. To make it worse, the villains of My Little Pony and Equestria Girls return. Can Pitch be defeated?
prologue: the villains return
"RUN!" cried Jack, not daring to look at the black horse chasing them.
Behind them was Pitch, cackling.
Twilight Sparkle saw Midnight Sparkle. She gasped. Then following was Gaea Everfree, Demon Shimmer, Demon Montage and lots of other villains she couldn't name. Twilight tried to keep them at bay, but then, a magical portal came, and someone she didn't know, and a black shadow came through. Twilight looked towards her best friend, Sunset Shimmer, for help.
Jack bumped into Twilight. "Oh, sorry. I'm Jack. Jack Frost."
Twilight smiled. "Twilight Sparkle." Meanwhile, Sunset looked up at the villains. Something clicked in her mind. A prophecy. When demons return and the counterpart is there, then after 3 days, they will be a demon forever. But no one, not one person knew of the prophecy, apart from her. Sunset knew they didn't have long.
