One minute we're underwater, spinning around like a never-ending loop, next thing I know we're falling through the sky. Even though we were all screaming for our lives, the one thing that I did notice was that the communication lacrima disappeared.

"LAYLA GRAB ONTO ME! NOW!" I hear Aiden scream next to me. Before I could reach out to him, he grabs me by my waist and pulls me into his chest. Next thing I know, we're underwater again.

I swim my way up to the surface and start coughing up the water that made it into my lungs. I try my hardest to ignore the pain in my lungs and see where my friends went. I got a bit distracted and looked around at my surroundings. We were in another forest, but it was different. I don't know how to explain it, but the air was weird, not bad. It was also daytime, even though it was just night time. Where the hell are we?

"Layla! Come on. We need to get to land." Rose said. She grabs my arm, and we swim to the two boys who just got out of the water. When we get there, we all stand up and look around.

"Um, where are we?" Hunter asked. I look at him angrily, walk up to him, and slap him on the head.

"OUCH! WHAT THE HELL DID I DO?"

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! WHAT KIND OF IDIOT JUMPS INTO THAT?!"

"You would've done it too, don't even try to deny it." He mumbles. I go to slap him again, and he goes to say something else, but one look from Rose and we both look down.

"What do we do now?" Aiden asked, looking at all of us in panic. I was about to respond until I was interrupted.

"You finish your mission!" A voice said. It was the same voice that came from the lacrima. We all turned to see who was the source of the sound this time. While everyone else stared at the little girl with long blonde hair and a cute pink dress on in confusion, I stared in shock.

"It's not p-possible...how?" I stuttered. Aiden looked at me in concern.

"Layla? You know her?"

"Let me introduce myself, please! I'm-"

"Mavis Vermillion, First Master of the Fairy Tail guild. H-How is this even happening right now?! You're just a Tv Show!" I yelled in shock. I can't believe this is happening; this is impossible. Then everything started to click together in my head. The communication lacrima, Makarov, how could I have not noticed sooner?

"Tv show? Layla, are you stupid?" Hunter said, chuckling. Mavis then vanished and appeared right in front of him, making him jump back in shock.

"I can assure you that Layla is not stupid, but all will be explained in time, for now, follow me!" She chirped. We all looked at each other as if debating whether or not to go.

"Well, we've come this far," Hunter said and started following her, the rest of us were still a bit weary.

"Come on, guys! Katherine sacrificed her life for this, and I'm not about to let her die in vain, so let's go." Hunter said, not looking back at us. That was enough for the rest of us to go with him. As we walked over there, I felt a pain in my back; the pain went away for a second but then came back ten times worse.

"AH! What the hell is wrong with me-GAH!" I yelled in pain. I collapsed to the floor, holding onto the ground as hard as I could.

"Layla?! What happened?" Rose yelled and ran over to me. Mavis appeared behind me and knelt to me.

"What's wrong with her?!" Aiden asked with a panicked tone. Hunter was looking down at me with worry. The pain became more excruciating; at this point, I prayed to God that the horror would end.

"She's in her home, she's going to take her true form now. Stand back! Hurry!" Mavis yelled and pushed everyone else away from me.

I started to feel something growing out of my back. The pain was awful, and I felt whatever was growing out of me rip my sweater away. Then all of a sudden, the pain stopped. I'm sweating like crazy and half-naked, but that's not what had my attention at the moment. For some reason, my shadow looked like an angel. I stood up and turned around quickly, only to see a bunch of trees. Then I finally felt it, a weight on my back. I looked behind me, and I see them.

I had wings on my back.

"WHAT THE HELL?" I yelled in shock. I turned around to look at my friends and see that Hunter has his eyes covered, Aiden is looking up at the sky with a blush on his face, Rose was shaking her head at them, and Mavis was giggling. I didn't understand why until I looked down and realized I was still half-naked. In instinct, I used my wings to cover myself, like I was the caterpillar, and they were my cocoon. I took a closer look at them; they're huge. They look as if they stretch out ten feet long, maybe even longer. They were a beautiful light green and white, they felt like leather, but it wasn't a pair of bird wings or what you would see on an angel, they more resemble-

"Dragon wings. Those are your dragon wings Layla, here wear this!" Mavis said and gave me what looked like a pink scarf. She helped me put it on by wrapping it around my chest area and in a way to not tangle up with my newly found wings.

"I know I sound like a broken record by now but how is this-"

"When we get to where we're going, you'll understand everything and more. Let's go!" She said and kept walking while the rest of us were quietly following behind. I was so distracted by my wings that I didn't even notice us stop. The four of us looked forward and made an angry face.

"ANOTHER LAKE?" We all scream in unison while staring at Mavis. She looked down sheepishly and chuckled.

"Sorry! We had to go far enough to make sure that no one could hear us." She said while smiling at the sky.

"So why did the spirit freak sprout wings?" Hunter said while looking at me weirdly. Instead of feeling self-conscious about it, I gave him a smirk.

"Why? Jealous?"

"Oh, you so wished that I was-"

"WOULD YOU BOTH STOP ACTING SO IMMATURE?" Rose snarled at us. We both got scared and stopped our nonsense while Aiden just facepalmed.

"You guys are exactly like your parents, it's incredible," Mavis said while giving us a small smile, then she went from being as playful as before to super serious. We all stared at her in silence as she walked over to us and began to speak.

"Listen to me and listen very closely because I do not have enough time to repeat myself. Twenty years from now a very powerful wizard named-"

"Wait a second, wizard? That's not real-OW! IM SHUTTING UP NOW! SORRY! IM SORRY! LET GO! OW! OW!" Hunter said, well at least attempted to before Rose grabbed him by the ear and hit him over the head repeatedly before finally stopping, acting as if nothing had happened while Hunter was on the floor groaning in pain.

"As I was saying, this man will attack the guildhall and kill everyone unless you four get to him first." She said while looking at us in determination.

"But how? We're just kids; we're humans! What can we do?" Aiden asked her in shock. She gave him a mischievous smile.

"That's where your wrong! If we look at Layla over here, you can see that she poses magic power, but just because she's the only one with wings doesn't mean the rest of you don't have your abilities." She said. We all looked at her in shock.

"Why did Katherine never tell us anything?" Rose asked. Mavis looked away sadly.

"She did it to protect you. If Arachnis found out you were alive, he would've sent an army to kill you guys and her. He wants you all dead, that's why he attacked Fairy Tail." She said. I looked at her in confusion.

"Why us? What'd we ever do to him? Who is 'him' anyway?" I asked.

"Arachnis is the most powerful wizard to have ever lived, that's until all of you were born. Katherine can look into the future. He forces her to look into his future to make sure that he stays the most powerful. One day she saw war, and he was defeated. When he sees who it was, he immediately seeks out to kill them. He waited twenty years until you were all finally born before he attacked your home. He killed everyone but not before they were able to send you four away." She said. Hunter looked to the other side and scoffed.

"Powerful? I didn't even know magic was real till now, how can we be all that?" He asked.

"Because you're all the product of the most powerful feeling in the world, and given how your parents are, I can't say I'm all the surprised." She said, laughing.

"I was just watching Fairy Tail on my Tv last night, how is any of this happening?" I asked no one in particular.

"Katherine wanted you guys at least to have a chance to learn about where you're from, she used her magic to do so, and she tried to show all of you, but the only one who was interested was you, Layla," Mavis said looking at me. Rose turned around and stared at me a little before a look of realization crossed her face.

"That's the show that I always tell you to stop watching, isn't it?" She said. I nodded and looked back at Mavis.

"Ok so who is-"

"I have to go now! Go to Fairy Tail and ask for Makarov, tell him that I sent you there and that- OH MY! I almost forgot here!" She said. She waved her hand in the air, and a silver bracelet appeared on my wrist.

"What is this?" Aiden says and tries to take it off. Mavis stops him before he can even touch his wrist.

"Whatever you do, don't take that off! Not until I tell you to at least, this blocks off any magical attempts at locating you, and it keeps most of your powers at bay so that you seem like ordinary wizards. Show Makarov those bracelets. He'll understand what's going on and will know what to do." She said, and then she started disappearing.

"Wait! Who's Mak-"

"Ask Layla, she'll know. Makarov will tell you everything else you want to know! Don't worry. I'll see you all again very soon, count on it!" She yelled, and then she entirely disappeared.

We all stared at where she last was for an extended period before Rose looked up to the sky and pinched the bridge of her nose.

"We have no other choice then, Layla, lead the way."
