Levy walked up the steps of an old Victorian house that had slowly began to fall apart over the years of being abandoned. She walked around the porch peaking inside the windows as they waited for Wendy to arrive. Gajeel smirked watching her; he could see the excitement in her expression as she had begun to imagine what she could do with the old house.
After Wendy had arrived they decided to call and make an appointment with the realtor to schedule a viewing. The realtor was on his way to the house excited that someone was finally showing an interest in the house. Gajeel was sitting on the steps watching as the girls talked excitedly about Wendy's classes that she would be taking this semester and about Levy being the new language teacher. A black car rounded the corner and parked in front of them. A small man with orange hair jumped out of the car excitedly, "Hello, I'm Ichiya Kotobuki from Blue Pegasus Realty. I can't wait to show you this house. It does need some work but let's go take a look and tell me what you think shall we?" He walked towards the front door and unlocked the safety box and escorted them into the house.
Levy walked up the stairs exploring each room taking everything in. There was a lot of work to be done but she liked the house. Wendy smiled looking out the window into the backyard, "So mom told me that you are going to help repair this house if she decides to buy it. What exactly happened between you two?" Gajeel leaned against the door frame, "well back then we were running on hormones I was fresh out of college and it was my first year here at Fairytail as a teacher and she was the only student in my class for the first semester and one night we were at my dad's bar and we acted on those hormones. After that we didn't talk about what had happened and once she had finished my class I didn't see much of her. She didn't talk to me and before I knew it she had graduated and was gone. I should have come after her but I was stupid." He looked up towards the upstairs waiting for Levy to finish her walk through, "if you want to know anymore you'll have to talk to her. I'm glad she came back and I promise I wont do anything to hurt your mom kid. She told me what happened and I'm sorry you had to go through that." Wendy smiled walking over to him, "It's fine I'm just glad that she is happy." She punched his shoulder softly, "Just remember I'm going to college to be a nurse so if you do hurt her, I'll kill you and it will be untraceable. 'Kay?" She smiled sweetly and walked upstairs to find Levy.
A few weeks later Levy and Wendy walked up the stairs of the house and opened the doors to their new home. Levy smirked, "Well grab the stereo and let's get started we have a lot of work to do and only 2 months to get it all done. Gajeel said he will start by fixing up the outside of the house and he grabbed a few friends to help out."
***A Couple Months Later***
Gajeel smiled as he finished unpacking the last box of dishes in the kitchen. Levy was in the study across the hall putting the last of her books on the shelves of the bookcase he had built her. Wendy walked into the foyer, "Well it's finally done mom. I finished my room and the bathroom upstairs now all we need to do is get some furniture for the living room and a couple hammocks for the outside." Gajeel smiled and ruffled Wendy's hair," Why don't you go grab some pizza and a movie while we finish up here and then we can celebrate the remodel and your birthday?" Wendy nodded and took the keys to the house, "sounds good I'll be back in about an hour." She waved and walked out the door.
Gajeel walked into the library and laughed at the sight of Levy. She had books scattered all over the floor and was sitting in the middle nose deep in the middle of a book. "Hey babe I thought you were putting the books up not reading them." She looked up, "I have been looking for this book and when I found it I just got drawn into reading it. You know how I get." He nodded and started to pick her books off the ground. "The kid is only going to be gone for an hour, I'll finish putting the books up while you go grab the present from my place alright?" She got up off the floor and dusted off her jeans, "Yeah sounds good." She placed her book near the door, "Do you want me to grab anything else while I'm out?" He placed the books on the shelves carefully, "No, I'm gonna head home after the movie and get some sleep. We have to be at school tomorrow early and I still need to get some things done around my place." She nodded, "alright I'll be back soon."
Levy made her way back home after retrieving Wendy's present. She made her way up the steps and inside. She could hear Wendy and Gajeel talking in the kitchen as she made her way towards them. She placed the present on the floor and opened it. An all white kitten emerged and followed Levy into the kitchen, "Happy Birthday Wendy." The kitten ran to Wendy and started to rub up against her leg. Wendy smiled and leaned down picking up the small animal in her arms, "I can't believe it. Thank you!" She hugged Levy and Gajeel before running upstairs with the kitten.
Levy smiled and leaned against the counter, "I think she likes her, don't you?" Gajeel nodded and pulled Levy towards him, "Yeah I don't think she's coming to join us for the movie but that's fine," He kissed her forehead softly, "Let's get some pizza and relax." She pulled away and grabbed a plate before filling it with pizza and walking into the living room. He followed suite and sat on the floor near the window. They stayed in the living room talking about plans for the next week with school and getting some time to go visit the local furniture shop. She got up slowly and stretched making her way into the kitchen with their plates placing them in the sink. He laid on the floor looking around at all the progress they had made over the last few months. He looked up as she made her way back to him, "Babe its getting late I think I'm gonna head to bed." She leaned on the door way watching as he stood up walking to her. He kissed her forehead softly pulling her into a hug, "alright well I'm gonna get home and take care of Lily before I pass out." She leaned into him sliding her hands up his shirt gently digging her nails into his back. He growled softly, "you make it difficult to leave, you know that?" She smiled and stood on her tip toes and kissed him chastely before letting go of him. He nipped at her bottom lip, "I'll see you at school tomorrow."
She waved to him as he walked down the street towards his place. She closed the door and made her way upstairs to her room. She undressed until she was in just her panties and crawled into bed. She had marks trailing down her back from their time together earlier on in the week.
She got up the next morning getting dressed before making her way to the school once more. She walked up the steps towards her classroom her bag in hand. She had one week to get everything where she wanted it and to get her class assignments in order. She sat at her desk reading through her students transcripts learning about each student.
There was a soft knock at her door before it opened she looked up at her desk and smiled as Lucy walked into her room closing the door. "So how does it feel being back after so long?" Levy smiled sitting on her desk looking around, "It's not too bad a bit strange with Wendy attending even if she isn't in my class. I don't know how this year is going to go I don't have a lot of students or anything but with everything that happened during college with him and now the fact that we are together I just I'm worried that-"Lucy covered Levy's mouth to stop her from talking. "You are rambling and worrying about nothing remember he did come after you when you left after the dinner and you've been almost inseparable since so just relax babe." Levy nodded and took a deep breath. "We should go grab lunch I'm starving."
Levy walked back to her classroom having relaxed after the much needed talk with Lucy over lunch. Lucy filled Levy on everything that she missed since she had been away along with the all the crazy antics of their former class mates. Lucy had asked Levy to join her at the club later if she didn't have any other plans.
Levy walked to Gajeels classroom after she had finished up with her cleaning. She knocked on his door before walking in taking in a sharp breath at the sight. Gajeel was in cut up black jeans his shirt tossed on the desk. He was standing over the workbench looking over the drawings splayed across it deep in thought. He was pulled from his thoughts as her voice reached his ears. "Mr. Redfox isn't that a bit much?" He smirked, "Hey I didn't hear any complaints from you the other night." He laughed at the blush that covered her face. "So what's up?" She shook her head, "I'm heading home for the day. Lucy invited me to some club tonight and I think I'm gonna go she said you could come to but I wasn't sure if you would want to." He nodded "I might but I think you should go anyway it would be good for you to get a night out I know most of the staff is going since Mira's husband is the owner." He walked over to her and kissed the top of her forehead "Go have fun babe." She nodded and walked towards the door waving to him before leaving.
Levy made it home and walked upstairs only to be met by laughter and multiple voices. She opened the door to her room to see clothes everywhere and women sitting on her bed talking. "Well let me shower first," Levy said as all eyes turned on her Lucy, Erza, Juvia, Cana and Wendy all sitting on the king sized bed nodded and continued talking while she walked to her bathroom to get ready.
An hour later and Levy was standing in her room in her black strapless bra and panties looking at the 3 dresses laying on her bed, "Guys these are too short you know my ass won't fit in that I won't be able to bend over and god forbid I sneeze." Cana smirked, "Baby blue still hasn't changed. Look, I know you're a bit self-conscious but I also know how good you look in anything so do us a favor and stop wasting time and get your sexy little ass in one of these or we will choose for you and I promise you it's much worse than these, 'kay?" Levy groaned and nodded picking up the dark red dress slipping it on with her black knee high boots. She stood in the mirror as the others changed into their clothes; the dress fit her like a glove. It was strapless and stopped about mid-thigh on her. She smirked she couldn't deny that it didn't look good as she saw Wendy in the reflection of the mirror nodding, "Mom it looks great."
