Hogwarts Assignment 4 - Survival Skills - Task #3: Firestarter: Write about someone keeping warm.

The Sirius Sirius Sirius Show
Remus and James run away so they can be together - their hometown doesn't accept that they're gay and they hope to find a place to be accepted. But they get stranded. What they find, however, is a whole lot more than they hoped for. Based on the Rocky Horror Picture Show
Sirius/James/Remus
James' arms are wrapped around Remus as they rush through the rain and to the house. He can barely see through his glasses, they're soaked and he's just been smearing the wet around them, and Remus is soaked through his cardigan. He needs to get Remus somewhere warm, Remus has health problems. If he stays out in the cold and the rain, his health will get bad and James can't let that happen. Thunder booms around them and Remus draws even closer to him.
They ring the bell of the house and the chime echoes and the pair draw nearer each other. They're scared. They've run away from a society that would rather see two men dead than with each other. They've been on the road for hours and hours, but have no way of knowing if they're somewhere safe.
Remus is the one to pull away, as footsteps sound in the house, pausing at the other side of the door. "They might not help us if…"
James knows what Remus is thinking. Their own friends turned against them when the truth came out. He can't expect strangers to be accepting when friends can't be. They move away from each other. Maybe it's a little more accepting here. Maybe they'll be killed if the truth is revealed. They have to hide it.
The door swings open and an old, shorter man looks between the pair with disdain. "The master isn't expecting any guests," he says, a sneer on his lips at the mention of his master. "You're not supposed to be here."
"We're really sorry to disturb him, to disturb you," James quickly says. "Our car broke down on our way… away. We're just looking for… we just need to call someone to come and fix it."
There's a sound, almost like wind-chimes and the man's head whips around. "Clearly, you're welcome," he says. "If you'd like to step through, the master has just seen off his guests from his party earlier this evening, but can be… hospitable."
They step inside, and Remus sighs at the warmth of the house. James longs to reach for him, but resists. He's used to resisting Remus. He's resisted kissing him for years. He's only recently been able to enjoy the feel of those inexperienced lips on his and they've run from their lives because that dam is broken and there was no going back after that first kiss.
They are ushered into a ballroom that is clean and tidy, and directed to wait. They sit down in plastic chairs, their clothes sticking to their skin as they wait for the master of the house to come down. The flames in the candles that line the room flicker, offering a little bit of comforting light, but not doing enough to help with the desire for warmth and dry clothes.

It's about ten minutes before the door bursts open and the pair jump to their feet. Neither expecting the sight before them. The place they came from didn't allow men to even hold hands, and the man that strode into the room, legs on display, heels on feet and the corset and knickers instead of clothing, was the sort of man that they'd never laid eyes on before.
He strides past them, dropping down in a throne at the end of the room, legs draped over the other side. Wild curls are pulled back in a bun and his lips are painted a deep crimson colour, as he looks them over.
Remus looks. He can't stop himself. His eyes take in every inch of this stranger and it's like something in his brain is telling him that the world is bigger than what they thought it was. Men dressing in such enticing ways. He moves closer to James, and James puts a hand on his shoulder for a moment before stepping away.
"I see you met my faithful handyman," the stranger says. There's a smirk on his lips as he notices the pair's eyes taking him in. He stretches out his legs, before pulling them back, the metal of the heels hitting the chair. "I hope you're not judging a book by it's cover."
"No, of course not. We're just not used to… we've just never…"
"I understand," he says smoothly. "This corset - as long as I feel right in it, what does it matter? My darlings, two things you need to know about me. I'm not much of a man by the light of day, but by night I'm one hell of a lover."
"We need… we need a phone. Could we use yours?" Though James is trying to get back on track with the conversation, he can't help but wonder about this strange, delicious man and what kind of lover he really is. Though he'd never do anything to hurt Remus.
"To fix your flat tyres?" the man asks, a strange smirk on his lips as he voices the words and James and Remus look at each other as he swings his legs around to stand. "I don't have a phone. Perhaps you should wait out the storm, before you continue running away from home, and stay for the night, for dinner and what comes after?"
"What… what comes after?" Remus asks, his voice shaking.
"Dessert," the stranger says. "I can tell you're going to say yes. I can see you shiver with antic…"
James leans forward, captivated by everything about this man. He walks towards them and when James turns his head, he can see that Remus is just as captivated.
"Pation," he finishes, his lips inches from Remus' ear.
He strides out of the door, and Remus looks at James.
"We didn't mention the flat tires," he says quietly, so they won't be overheard.
"We didn't mention running away," James adds.
"Those clothes…" Remus murmurs. There's this strange longing in his voice and he looks at James helplessly.
"He's fearless. He's…" James wants to say so many things, but showing desire for another man would hurt Remus. Though Remus is feeling it too, James is certain. "We just need to manage one night. The rain should hopefully be done tomorrow and perhaps we can walk to the nearest town."
"And dessert?" Remus asks.
Their eyes fall on the man walking up the stairs.
"Master Sirius would like you to join him upstairs," the old man orders, appearing at the door.
James wonders which of the three of them is the dessert, and he can't help but take Remus' hand as he heads towards the stairs. Remus seems just as eager to follow.
"First, we'll get you out of those wet clothes," Sirius calls, from the top of the stairs. "Let me find you something a little more… comfortable." His fingers trail down his own leather corset and James and Remus can do nothing but nod their heads.
Remus shivers, and grey eyes fix on him intently. James turns his head, looking at Remus who is slowly removing his cardigan.
"Don't you worry, my darlings, I'll keep you warm," Sirius tells them, and the tone tells them all that they need to know about what awaits upstairs. "Both. Of. You."
They eagerly continue to follow.
