Percy's pov~
BEEP BEEP BEEP
My alarm already? I could've sworn I fell asleep 10 minutes ago! Oh well, it'll be worth it when I get to see Annabeth.
We planned to meet at our secret place around 4:00 am, which is around the time the harpies stop looking for campers. Our secret place is down by the lake, a little cove that's hidden by some bushes. I accidentally stumbled into, (or shall I fallen) when Annabeth pushed me into the bushes because I apparently said something insensible. But it all worked out perfectly, it's the most ideal place for our makeout sessions.
I tried brushing my hair with my hand. Major seaweed brain moment, guess I don't know what a hairbrush is. But since I was now running late, I just left it. I already knew Annabeth would probably give me crap for it.
As I ran down to the beach, I remembered that we also had a visit up to the gods sometime in the next few days, who knows what about though. As my mind wondered what they could want, I tripped over a tree root and ate some sand. I was so lost in thought for once, I didn't realize I reached the beach.
I decided I wanted to try to do a dramatic entrance, so when I was close to the spot I went into the lake. For my entrance, I settled on a mini tsunami. Not as dramatic as the last time, Annabeth would appreciate that. I was getting ready to do my grand entrance when I looked up just to make sure she was there to witness it.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
A/N~ Once again, I'm sorry it's a short chapter, I just want to make people want to read it before I put in my time for long chapters. Hopefully the next chapter will be a bit longer!
