She was gonna do it. She was gonna ask him to go to the mall with her. She had spent almost all day building up the courage to just come out and say it to him. She would just put it out there and whatever happened happened. She saw him sitting on the couch and steeled herself. 'Alright girl. Here we go! I'm gonna do it!'
"You couldn't do it, could you?" Mina saw right through her, as always. "I figured as much. You got no faith! You gotta believe girl!" She didn't believe at all. She knew it wasn't going to end well, so she couldn't do it. "I just...I don't know if I can take rejection again. I don't want a repeat of high school, so I...I can't."
Mina frowned and reached into her pocket. "Don't worry, girl. I know just who to call to help with this." Mina was a good friend. She was always ready to help.
"Yo, Izuku! Sero wants to know if you wanna go to the arcade with her!"
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-
"You'd love to? Great! She'll see you this Saturday at noon!"
"You have betrayed me, she-devil."
Mina grinned at her. "Oh, lighten up. It worked, didn't it? Now come on! We gotta get you some date clothes! My girl is gonna be pretty or my name isn't Mina!"
Despite the unorthodox method, she supposed it had indeed worked. She forgave Mina after she payed for all the new outfits.
