A/N: It's been quite a while since I last decided to sit and actually produce a FF from the 101 ideas that run through my head. Pre-ordering Midnight Sun and finishing it in three days, really gave me a kick up the arse, and a renewed passion for Twilight.

I'm a huge Bella/any female vamp, fan; and this is another of those. This is set in Breaking Dawn, beginning at Bella Edward's wedding - because who doesn't love a bit of chaos and drama? As you will have seen if you read the character pairing (as well as searching for this specific pairing perhaps¿), this involves Bella Swan/Cullen and Kate Denali.

There may be some minor differences to the characters personalities - that is due to how I would have preferred the characters being written, and how I believe the books could have been much darker than they were - Edward's perspective in Midnight Sun was almost spot on in terms of darkness, in regards to his thoughts specifically.

We'll be jumping right into the action at the beginning of Chapter 1, as the relationship will take it's time to develop for obvious reasons. There will be Slovak included as Tanya, Irina and Kate originated from Slovakia. I will include the translations immediately afterwards. It will be in Kate's POV throughout.

Disclaimer - I do not own any of the characters involved in the books created by Stephanie Meyer, and this is purely for reading entertainment.

Chapter 1

"I'm surprised he has yet to kill this human." Irina commented with a smirk, choosing to continue painting her nails rather than meeting the eyes of Tanya in the rear view mirror.

I couldn't help my laugh. It had been a thought in each of our minds at some point, since learning of the bronze haired virgin's engagement to the human Isabella Swan. Our coven had discussed for weeks, after Edward's impromptu visit to Alaska, how this human had managed to capture the heart of the one vampire who had repeatedly shot down Tanya's advances.

I had spent many hours upon hearing of the human, wondering why he hadn't decided to drain the girl. She was his singer, she would be virtually irresistible. Even the strongest and oldest of vampires would struggle to resist even trying a drop of their blood - I hadn't lasted longer than a second after registering that I had encountered my own, before my teeth were attached to the jugular of an older French gentleman, whilst passing through Paris alongside my sisters. He had tasted sweeter than any fruit I had the pleasure of consuming during my human years. The comatose state that had followed, was marvellous. My sisters had found me several hours later, still slumped against an alley wall with the slowly decaying body beside me. Reminiscing still managed to drive my inner monster wild.

"I'm intrigued to meet her." Carmen enthused, breaking me out of my blood lust thoughts, as she glanced over to Eleazar beside her in the backseat of the overly extravagant Mercedes Tanya had chosen to lease.

I had envied the connection that Eleazar had found in Carmen. I had struggled upon their arrival, watching the way they interacted with one another, and held each other.

Living this long without a mate had taken its toll on my outlook on love. I detested the thing. I avoided romantic movies and novels, glared at Irina's suggestions of venturing out to human clubs in the hope of stumbling across that one life that would alter my own. My sisters were more interested in bedding human males, enjoying the warmth they provided. I didn't care for their lifestyles, though I kept my thoughts and feelings to myself - they were my sisters, and their private lives were just that, private. I was sure that other covens saw me as a fellow succubus, though I hadn't partaken in those acts, contrary to what others believed.

"I'm intrigued by her smell. Surely she'll be quite the potent treat if he's kept her around this long." Irina sniggered, again avoiding Tanya's blazing glare.

Fixing my dress, I glanced at the text that had lit up my phone. It was Alice - interesting.

I do not understand what I have just seen. But you need to be careful Kate, this is a warning.

I raised an eyebrow at her unclear message, eyes narrowing at the 'be careful' and 'this is a warning' the pixie haired Cullen had chosen to use towards a vampire that could have her on her back from a small shock.

Glancing over at Tanya who continued to speed towards our destination, I turned the phone screen in her direction for her to read, clicking my tongue against the roof of my mouth. I had already begun to envision the torture I could inflict upon the small Cullen, the pleasure it would bring.

"Care to share with the rest of the car, sisters?" Irina sighed, noticing the change in atmosphere, leaning forwards between the car seats. Her eyes locked with the text message, eyebrows furrowing in response. "What on earth does she mean? She's always been so feisty for a woman of her size."

"It appears Eleazar, Carmen, that Alice has had some kind of vision. She hasn't given any detail, other than giving me a warning. Though I feel I should be giving her one also." I passed the phone behind me to the Spanish pair. Tanya's eyes were focused on the road in front, her right hand's forefinger rubbing at her temple as she mulled over Alice's words.

"We're about to pull into the Cullen's driveway, so we don't exactly have long to wonder what she is talking about." Tanya grumbled, slowing drastically as she approached a less than obvious turning off the main road. "Please heed her warning Kate, you know she wouldn't have messaged had it not have been necessary."

I nodded reluctantly, smoothing out my dress once more as we pulled up amongst a throng of cars outside of the Cullen household. I did not recognise the faces that were entering the large floor-to-ceiling windowed building. They all appeared to be human, rosy cheeked and warm.

"Perhaps I should have taken up your offer of that final hunt after all, Tanya." Carmen muttered, fixing her hair and rubbing at her throat. Eleazar kissed his mate's forehead before opening his door, stepping out and offering a hand for Carmen to take whilst following.

"I for one am excited at the prospect of the torment that these humans are going to bring throughout the day." Irina enthused sarcastically, throwing a glance in my direction before following the others out of the car.

As I exited the Mercedes, I noticed Carlisle, Esme, Alice and Jasper approaching, preparing to greet us. I could feel each set of human eyes that stared in our direction, their whispered comments and blatant attraction overwhelming me all at once. I hadn't surrounded myself with this many humans in quite some time - it was slightly unnerving.

Alice was the first to reach us, her eyes never leaving mine as she strode over with a level of determination I hadn't seen in her previously.

"You are going to ruin everything, do you understand that?" She snarled, venom spitting towards me, Jasper gripping her shoulder in an attempt to cool his mate down. I glanced at the humans that were passing by, listening to their hushed comments.

"Alice, I don't understand what you're talking about, none of us do." I sent a death glare to a few stragglers that were continuing to eye us curiously. They hurried past, their heart rates jumping significantly after noticing I wasn't going to look away.

"You're going to change everything, do you know how long he's waited for this day? You shouldn't be here." Carlisle moved to stand in front of the pixie, placing his hands on her shoulders, forcing her to look directly at him.

"Alice, I do not know what you have seen; however, now is not the time." Carlisle sighed and dropped his arms from Alice's shoulders, rearranging his tuxedo jacket. "We have a wedding to continue with. This matter can be addressed afterwards, and with Edward in attendance."

I nodded towards the blonde coven leader, noticing Tanya glaring directly at Alice, and Jasper returning that glare towards my sister.

"It's been a while, cousins. Shall we?" Carlisle gestured for us to proceed into the house and on to the wedding.

"Let's." I smiled, rolling my shoulders in preparation for whatever was about to unfold.

We had yet to have a private moment with Edward. We had been ushered to sit in our allocated seats by Alice, on the very last row; though she hadn't been enthusiastic about doing so. I had guessed it had been a purposeful arrangement for Carmen's sake. I silently thanked Alice for these seats.

A song I believed was Flightless Bird, American Mouth began to play, a clear sign that the bride was about to make her way down the aisle.

"Interesting choice of song." Irina mused, receiving a sharp elbow to the ribs from Tanya.

I suddenly smelt the most divine scent, my eyes rolling back ever so slightly as it hit the back of my throat and flared that ever present flame of thirst. It was a mix of jasmine, white musk and a slight hint of cedar wood. It wrapped around me like a tight warm hug, it was comforting and inviting. I took a further large mouthful of the air and hummed at the feeling it caused.

Opening my eyes, I noticed Edward's locked on to mine, pitch black and alarmed. His jaw had tightened considerably, Carlisle choosing this moment to stand closer to his son and placing a hand firmly on his shoulder, whispering something too low for my ears. Alice had turned to shoot me a look, noticing Edward's change in posture also.

"I feel like I have a giant target on my forehead today, is there something on my face?" I grumbled, turning to Tanya and Irina who just smirked and looked away.

A heartbeat thumping quicker than others surrounding me, began it's approach. Another giant waft of that satisfying scent hit me like a truck, just as I chose to turn to my right to get a look at the bride and see the human that had the Cullen's so attached.

I gripped Tanya's arm; my jaw locked as an unnecessary amount of venom filled my mouth. She was a vision in white. Her hair was neatly pinned into a bun, with the smallest amount of makeup gracing her already angelic shaped face. Her chocolate eyes were concentrating on her every step, her plump bottom lip firmly between her teeth as she gnawed out of fear of what I guessed was falling. I allowed my eyes to retrace every inch of her face, down to the way her chosen dress clung to her hips, and the detail along the cuffs of the sleeves. She was highly alluring, fascinating even. I willed for her to raise her eyes to mine, prayed silently to whatever God's were above that she would take a moment to look upwards just once, just to see me.

But she did not. She continued to nibble on her bottom lip as she passed by, hesitating to raise her eyes to meet Edward's at the end of the aisle.

Tanya dug her nails into my wrist. I had yet to loosen my hold, I couldn't concentrate on anything other than Isabella Swan. I could barely form a coherent sentence in my thoughts, never mind make use of my muscles.

"Loosen up a little, please." Tanya hissed, digging her nails in further, enough to have me flinching away. My eyes were torn from Isabella as I did, looking instead to Tanya.

"Je moja, Tanya." I whispered, choking a little as the words left my mouth. (She's mine, Tanya.)

Tanya stiffened, turning to glance at Edward who was struggling to focus solely on Isabella, and not on my thoughts that were likely consuming his also. She wrapped an arm around my waist, both an action providing comfort and holding me in place.

My mate was about to marry another vampire, a vampire that belonged to a coven we called companions. My throat was on fire out of anger, jealousy, possessiveness, and thirst.

I could rip her out of his arms surely? The repercussions of this decision would be large. But they could be resolved - each human considered collateral damage in my mind. It would take a mere few seconds to have every throat torn, necks snapped and hearts stopped with venom.

I noticed Edward wince slightly at the thought. Good. I wanted him to watch as I considered how I was going to handle this.

"Čo mám robiť?" I sighed quietly, more so to my sisters than Carmen and Eleazar across the aisle. Their understanding of Slovak was slight, and they would become aware of the matter at hand soon, I'm sure. (What should I do?)

"O tomto hovorila Alica." Tanya's eyes flickered to where Alice was sat, her teeth grinding together. My eyes widened a little out of realisation. Why hadn't she warned me properly? Why hadn't she explained that Isabella was my mate? Did she even know she was my mate? (This is what Alice was talking about.)

"Páni, Katrina, človek?" Irina chuckled, more interested in the humorous side of the matter; a standard reaction from my sister. (Wow Katrina, a human?) "I would have expected better from you!" She feigned shock, earning herself another elbow from Tanya.

I turned back to Isabella's retreating form, admiring her once more, and almost chuckling at the tight grip she had of, what I presumed was, her father's arm. She had reached the end of the aisle and was greeted by a stiff Edward, who gave a tight lipped smile and a brief nod towards her father who provided him his daughter's hand.

"Well, this tremendous occasion has taken a slight turn." I snarled under my breath, fingers tingling with a shock I hadn't realised I had prepared.

Clearly, it had Edward's name on it.
