Chapter 14: Got to Go Back
Piper's pov
After Alice's vision everyone was on the edge. It's been over two weeks and Alice as been locked up in her room since that day. The only time she comes out is to hunt with Jasper then back into her room. I'm watching Luka play with Jacob; they are so cute. Jacob will make a wonderful father and I just need a month of rest before we try for a baby. Edward is sitting with me and he has his arm around me.
I snuggled into Edwards side as I watched my family. Bree was sitting with Diego on one of the love seats and they two where snuggling. I'm so happy to see them so lovely dovely. "I'm happy too." Edward said softly into my ear. I nodded as I turned to kissed Edward softly on the lips. Rose and Emmett had their little family in the other room cooing at their babies. I'm happy that Rose finally got what she wanted, a family with Emmett. She never wanted this life, but I hope now she can except it.
I can barely hear Alice in her room, all the rooms at mostly soundproof. Since I'm part dragon and if I really wanted to, I could hear through any wall, but I'm trying to give Alice her space. As far as I can tell this vision has something to do with the Volturi. If they knew what's good for them, they leave my family alone. I will burn them before they even touch one of them. Luka looked over at me and I smiled at him. He looked at Jacob before he stood up and walked over to me.
I picked my little one and he touched my face. I saw me with a pissed off look and I kissed his cheek. "I'm not mad at anyone in the family Luka. I was just thinking about something that made my blood boil." I said softly to him and he nodded his head. Then he got out of my arms and went to play with Jacob some more. Both Edward and Jacob were looking at me. I smiled at hem. "I'm fine my loves." I said before I stood up.
"Where are you going?" Edward asked as he was about to stand up too. "I'm going to go for a run and try and get my thoughts in order. You two stay here and watch over the family till I get back." I said and they looked a little sad. I kissed Edwards head softly before I turned and walked over to Jacob and did the same. "I just need some me time for a little while." I said and they nodded.
I took off running not really paying attention to where I was going. The sun was high, and I pushed myself to go faster. I lost track of time and then I heard a voice. I stopped and listened. "I smell something funny?" came a female voice and it has a Spanish accent. "I smell it too. But I can smell Edward too." Came another female voice. They must be the Denali coven that lives up here. "Sorry, I didn't mean to run into your territory, I'm Carlisle niece Piper." I said and I heard a few gasps and then a few vampires running towards me. I waited till they came.
I saw the Denali coven stop a few yards away. I turned around and smiled at them. "You are really Carlisle niece?" said Kate I believe. "Yes, my father was Carlisle's twin brother who happened to turn into a vampire before Carlisle and then mated with a dragon." I said and the looks on their faces made me laugh. I had to cross my legs so I wouldn't piss myself. "I'm sorry for laughing, but the looks on your faces." I said as I stood back up. "How do we know you are telling the truth?" came the male and I do believe this is Eleazar.
I noticed him pulling his mate closer to him. "I am Edwards mate." I said and Kate got this sad look on her face. "Anymore can say that." Kate said. I pulled out my phone and Txt Edward to come. "What did you do?" Kate growled at me. "I texted Edward to come, so you can here it from him." I said as I watched Irina. She was looking at me with the most hateful look. It didn't take Edward long to come.
He gave me a kiss before he spoke to them. I put my hand into his as he spoke to them. He told them I was his mate and Carlisle's niece and that we came up here to change Bella. He left out her being pregnant. "I never thought you would find a mate, but I am happy for you Edward." Kate said and I looked at her. "You will meet your mate soon." I said and they looked at me. "How do you know that?" Eleazar asked me. "Its one of my many gifts." I said and he looked at me. "My gift is sensing the type and strength of gifted vampires' talents. I don't sense anything from you." Eleazar said to me.
I smiled softly to him. "I'm only half vampire and I'm one hell of a shield. I can block anything that is aimed at me. I can even hide my talents from you." I said softly. He nodded his head. "What brough you to our territory?" Kate asked me with a smile. "I went for a run to clear my head and I just happened to run into your territory. I am so sorry if I scared you guys." I said as I bowed my head to them. "Its ok, just glade you are part of the family. I would have hated fighting against you." Kate said and I smiled as I blushed.
"I'm not much for fighting, but I never lose at fight." I said and they looked at me. "I can make my body burst into dragon fire, turning anything to ash." I said and if vampires could go pale, they would have. "Remind me to never piss her off." Tanya said and I looked at Irina. "What is wrong with you?" I asked her softly. She looked over at me for a second before she told me what was bothering her. Laurent was missing and she was sad he hasn't come home yet. Edward was about to open his mouth. But I put my hand over it. They looked at me as I bent down and touched the frozen earth.
I felt everything and everyone. Looking for one person is a little hard, but I knew where he was last seen at. I smiled as I found him, he was trapped in the wolfs territory still alive. But he was trapped and no way out. "Why are you smiling for?" Irina asked me. "Because your mate is still alive. I know where he is, and I will go and get him for you." I said and Irina smiled as she through herself at me. "Thank you." She said.
"You're not going by yourself." Edward said and I smiled at him as Irina let me go. "I know. That is why I'm taking Jacob with." I said to him. "Who is Jacob?" Kate asked us. "He is my other mate." I said and they looked at me shocked. "You have two vampire mates?" Carmen asked with a smile. "No, Jacob is a wolf shifter." I said and they all hissed at me. "Can't help who your mate is. Besides Jacob is a sweetheart and he is a good father to Luka." I said. "How is Luka?" Tanya asked. "He is Edwards and my son." I said and they got this fearful look in their eyes. "I gave birth to Luka. He isn't an immortal child. Since I'm part dragon and vampire I can have children. I even became a surrogated, so Rose and Emmett can have their own family. I just gave birth to them two weeks ago." I said and their mouths was opened.
"You are telling us; you can give birth with vampire sperm and eggs?" Kate asked in a shocking tone. "Yes, since the female's body can't change their eggs wont except the sperm. The eggs are the ones who pick the sperm. Since the body can't change the eggs don't call for the sperm you can say. So, we take the eggs out of the body and the sperm and its like what they do with the humans." I said and I saw Carmen look at Eleazar with huge hoping eyes. Eleazar looked down at his mate and I knew he wanted to give her what she wanted, but he couldn't ask me.
I smiled as I walked over to them. "You might have to wait a little bet longer, my other mate wants to have a baby next, but I need some time to rest before that happens. As soon as the baby is born and off breast milk. I be more then happy to give you a baby next." I said and Carmen smiled before she hugged me. "You didn't have to do this." Eleazar said softly. "I know but you are family. If I can give my family a family of their own, I'm more than happy to. When ever my daughter Bree is ready, I'm more than happy to give her and her mate a baby." I said and they looked at me.
"Edward and I adopted one of the new borns from that army. She might not be mine by blood, but I wouldn't trade her for the world. Bree is one of the daughters I was hoping to have. I love that girl as much as I love my mates and my little Luka. Irina if you want Laurent want kids too, just let me know. But just so you guys know I will be taking a break at some point. I know I'm a baby maker, but this baby maker needs a break from time to time. There is no rush in having a family. I really want you guys to be ready to become parents. I don't want you to rush into it." I said and they smiled at me.
Then we left them and headed back home. "That was nice of you to do that for them." Edward said as I jumped onto his back. "They are family and that's what you do for family. I think once everyone that is ready to have family, gets a baby or twins. We take a getaway just us and the kids." I said and Edward smiled at me. "You, me, Jacob and Luka will be nice." Edward said with a smile. "And the son or daughter me and Jacob is going to have." I said and Edward chuckled softly. "How could I forget about that little precious one." Edward said and I kissed his neck.
"You and Jacob be safe on your way back ok?" Edward said to me softly as we got back to the house. "We will. I'm not pregnant, so I can fight if I need too." I said and he nodded as we walked into the house. Jacob looked over at me as I walked over to him. "Hey, we need to head back home and you are coming with me." I said as I picked up Luka, so I can give him a bath before we can leave. "Ok just you and me?" Jacob asked softly. "Yep, just us to. I thought it be good for us to have some alone time." I said and Jacob smiled as he followed me to our bathroom.
"Why are we going back for?" Jacob asked me as I took off Luka's clothes and started to run the water. "I tell you when we leave. Can you go and pack a bag for you and me. For my bag pack whatever you like." I said with a smirk. Jacob smirked at me before he kissed my lips and left the room. "I will be back in a few days Luka. You and daddy have some fun and in no time we be back." I said as I put Luka in the nice warm bathwater. He nodded his as he splashed me. I smiled as we played in the water.
Two hour later me and Jacob was on the road and we are far away from everyone I told Jacob why we are going back for. "That is why we couldn't find him. I'm glade we didn't kill him." Jacob said and I put my hand into his as I drove on. Jacob smiled at me as he rubbed my pale skin with his thumb.
We talked and listened to music as I drove. Its going to take use a few days to get back. I could get us there in two or even one day, but I wanted to spend some time with my other mate. So, we are going to be stopping for the nights. The sun should be going down soon, so I was looking for a hotel to stay in. Then we got into this city and found a nice hotel. I pulled over and we got out.
"You sure about this place?" Jacob asked as we walked in. "Yes, do worry about it my love." I said as we walked up and got us a suite. As we walked to the elevator, we could hear some of the staff talking bad about Jacob. I saw the sad look on his face. As we waited for the elevator, I pulled Jacob closer and kissed him hard. When we pulled away, I smiled at him. "I love you Jacob. I don't care what others think about us. You are the most wonderful man that I ever meant." I said loud enough for everyone to heard me.
Jacob blushed a little at my words. "I love you to Pips." Jacob said as the doors opened and we walked in. "You didn't have to do that." Jacob said. "No one talks bad about my mates. They are lucky I don't do something worse to them." I growled. Jacob put his hand of my ass and I purred. "Down girl. You don't have to do that for me." Jacob said as he squeezed my ass. He's warm hand felt good and is turning me on. I heard Jacob sniffing the air and then smirked at me.
"You're horny Pips." Jacob said in a husky voice as he pushed me up against the wall. I felt his boner press up against my pussy as he kissed my neck. "Let's get to our room and we can have some fun." I said and Jacob moved away. "What's wrong?" I said as our door open and we got out. "We didn't have any condoms at the house." Jacob said as we got to the door. I opened it and we walked into the room before I spoke. "I guess we are going to be trying for a baby then." I said as I put my bag on the couch.
"I thought you wanted to wait a while?" Jacob said as I turned around and looked at him. "Yeah, but I want you balls deep in me and if we become pregnant then it was meant to be." I said as I took off my top and I don't wear a bra. Jacob's eyes were glued to my chest. "You sure Pips. I don't want you to do this for me." Jacob said as he walked over to me. "Yes, I am sure Jakey. I'm ready and I know you really want one and I want a huge family. Once everyone has their babies, we can have a family vacation. Just you, me, Edward and the pups." I said and Jacob tackled me onto the bed. We made out as we took off each other's clothes.
Every time we stopped for the night, we made love and it was great. Each of them is different in bed and that's what I like about each of them. They are different and that is ok. I smiled as Jacob drove the last bit of the trip. I was sitting in the middle and his arm was around me as he drove into La Push. He is going to head to his father's house to see him first. The family said we can stay in the house while we are here.
We pulled up and got out, Jacob held my hand as we walked to the front door. It was unlocked, so we walked in and Billy was there watching tv. "What are you two doing here?" Billy asked us. "We came to visit, and I forgot something at the house." I said. Jacob thought it was a good thing we didn't tell him the truth. "I see, its good to have you back my son." Billy said and I know he don't like me. I whispered into Jacob's ear before I left the house.
I found Sam and the others at the beach. "Piper what are you doing here?" Sam asked as I walked over to him. I told him why we are back. Sam had this look on his face. "We are just going to get him and leave. His mate as been so depressed. How would you feel if you think your mate is dead, but they are just trapped, and they can't get back." I said and Sam looked at his mate. "I see. That's fine with me, you and Jacob can go and get him." Sam said and I nodded. Then I left them and headed to the small cave.
"Hey Laurent, you in here? I'm here to get you out of here and to get you back to Irina." I said and when I said Irina, I heard something. "Irina?" came Laurent's voice. I walked more into the cave and Laurent came into the light. I saw his eyes are black and he needs to feed. I thought of this and I have a cooler full of blood bags. I gave it to him, and he drained all the bags. "I feel so much better, thank you." Laurent said to me. I saw that look in his eyes.
"I'm Piper Cullen." I said and he looked at me. "I was in school in London for the last four years. So, you didn't get to meet me." I said and he nodded. "What about the wolfs?" Laurent said as we slowly walked to the mouth of the cave. "I told the alpha what was going on. He is letting us take you back to Irina." I said as we walked out, and Jacob was waiting for us. Laurent looked at him. "He is one of my mates." I said and he looked at me with shock. "One of them?" Laurent said. "Edward is one and Jacob is my other one. I love them both." I said as I walked over to Jacob who took my hand.
"We get you to Forks and you can go ahead and head back to your mate Laurent. We be back in a few days. Try and not to hunt on the way back Irina asked us to tell you that." I said and he nodded. So, walked to dad's house and Laurent took off. Jacob wanted to spend some time with his father. I told him I be at the house. "Why don't you want to come with me?" Jacob asked me. "I know your father don't like me." I said. "He just doesn't know you." Jacob said softly.
I let out a breath before I gave in. "Ok babe, I go with you." I said and he smiled at me. Then we headed back to his house. I know his father don't want me with his only son. I was not ready to be in the same room with his father.
