Chapter 11:The Wedding
Nyla's pov
When we got back to the main house Alice was waiting for me. I kissed Edward softly before I went with Alice to her room. Alice went through everything for the wedding. I like it all, but I did change a few things. Then Alice started on my wedding dress. "Don't worry Nyla I'm going to make sure you look beautiful." Alice said and I smiled at her. I was able to gain some weight that made me look normal.
We are doing to have a small wedding nothing big. Just family and that's it. We got a week before I become Edward's wife and a Cullen. Edward looked really happy since he asked me to marry him. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. This was on my bucket list to get married, but I didn't think it would have ever happened. I never thought that my life could be like this. If someone told me when I was younger, I would be getting married I wouldn't believe them.
"What's wrong Nyla?" came Alice's worried voice. I looked down at her since I was standing on a small stool. When I looked down, I felt tears rolling down my face. I didn't notice I was crying. "Sorry I was just thinking of something." I said with a smile, before I whipped away the tears. "Do you want to talk about it?" Alice asked as she went back to work. "I never thought I would be getting married. Growing up I dreamed about having a wedding and getting married to someone that loved me. When the years passed since that day, I lost hope. Then you guys come into my left and I have hope for other things." I said softly.
"Your dream is coming true. Edward loves you and we love you to." Alice said and I nodded. It didn't take Alice long to finish my dress. Then I went down to get some food. That day seemed like everyone is moving around buys with things. Edward would zoom in and out of the room I would be in. Then Rose came in and told me to get dressed and I did. Then Emmett came picked me up and took me to his jeep. Rose helped me with my seatbelt and then we took me into town.
"So, what are we going to do?" I asked as I looked at them. Rose smiled at me. "We are taking you to get you a tattoo." Rose said and I smiled at her. "You two are the best." I said. "Yes, we are. This is our wedding gift to you. So, pick what very tattoo and size you want." Em said to me. "Rose, Em you two are the best friends that I've always wanted." I said and Rose looked touched and Em smiled at me.
Rose gave me my id card before we got out of the jeep. I felt like a normal person and the guy that owned the shop looked at me. "What brings you guys here?" he said with a smile. "Our sister-in-law want's a tattoo." Em said and I smiled. "Soon to be sister-in-law." I said to the man. He smiled. "First time getting a tattoo?" he asked me, and I nodded my head. So, I gave him my ID and we field out my paperwork.
Then he was showing my different designs, but nothing felt right. "If there isn't anything you like I can draw something for you." He said to me. "Can you draw something with a few things I really want?" I asked him and he nodded. So, we went into his room to talk. "I want something that as a mix of roses, a bear, a warrior, a healer, a heart, something pure maybe like a mother and a pixy." I said and he wrote what I said down. I knew Rose and Em could hear us. "That is something. Can I ask what it means?" he asked me. "Each one of those represents someone in my family. The first family that I have ever known." I said and he smiled at me softly.
"I like the way you think." He said before he started to draw. I watched him and the way he was drawing I like it. The warrior, healer and bear were in the back and there were vines with roses, then there was a heart in the middle then a mother in the front holding a sketch book and a pixy flying beside her. I told him that the mother like to draw. I gave him some details about each symbol. Then he was done I love what it looked like. "Would you like to have you sister in here with you?" he asked me. "No, I want them to see it when its done." I said and he nodded.
I wanted to get the tattoo on my thigh. So, I had to pull down my pants and lay down on the table. After I gave him the go ahead, when I like the angle where he placed the stencil. We talked as he tattooed away, and I didn't mind the pain. I felt a lot worse than this, so it didn't bother me. It took about four hours to get this tattoo. He told me to keep it clean and to use this stuff on it. I pulled up my pants and then we left the room. Em paid and I hug them because it cost $600 and Em gave him a tip of $200.
"When do we get to see?" Rose asked as we made our way home. "When we get home." I said. Rose pouted playfully and I chuckled at her. Then Em pulled into a parking lot. "What are we doing?" I asked and Em gave me a smirk. "You will see." Em said before he parked in front of a building. "You two say here I be right back." Em said before he gave Rose a wild vampire kiss. Rose smiled as she watched Em go into the building.
"Rose can I say something?" I asked as I took of the seatbelt and crawled into the driver seat. "Sure Nyla." Rose said with a smile. "Just listen and then you can get mad at me if what I say piss you off." I said and Rose looked at me with worry. I smiled at her. "You remember when you told me your story?" I said and she nodded her head looking at me curiously. "I love your relationship with Emmett. You two are so in love with each other, before me and Edward got together. I wanted a love like yours and Emmett's." I said and if Rose could blush, she would be beet red. "I know you never wanted to become a vampire, but everything happens for a reason. For the good, for the worse and for the very worse. But if you didn't become a vampire you would have married a monster. He could have beat you daily and if you had kids, he would have beaten them or worse. If he did kill you Carlisle couldn't have been there to save you. If you just died you wouldn't have meet and saved your one true love. If you did manage to live with your Fiancé and he didn't hurt, you. Emmett would have been killed and your soulmate would have been gone forever. I know you wanted a normal life with Emmett but if you where still human you would have never meant Em. I know this life isn't the one you wanted, if I could give you want you want the most, I would give anything for you. You are the best friend/sister that I've always wanted. Just be happy you meant your soulmate and you have a wonderful family that loves you. I know it sucks not having the things you want. I wish I could lose my virginity to Edward before I'm turned, but that will never happen and I'm ok with it. Some things just aren't meant to be. You where meant to be a vampire, you where meant to found and save Emmett. You where meant to come into the Cullen's and my life. All I am saying if you know everything now and can go back in time to that night. Would you change it or let it happen knowing you have a wonderful life ahead of you." I said and I saw the venom swell in Roses eyes.
If she could cry, I bet she would be. Then she pulled me into a hug. "I've never thought of it that way. I couldn't live with out Emmett. Not after getting to know him like I did. He is my only and only. If we did die, I would spend my afterlife looking for him and if we were reincarnated, I would still try and found him again." Rose said into my ear. I hugged her back. "Sometimes it takes someone else to show you the truth about yourself. I wanted you to see your life through my eyes. I wish I could give you the family you wanted." I said softly. "After what you just said, I am happy with just having Emmett and you guys." Rose said as she pulled away.
I smiled at her. I saw something at the corner of my eye, I turned to see Emmett coming back with two huge bags. I moved back to the back seat and put my seatbelt back on. Emmett got in and handed Rose the bags. Before he turned on the jeep, he turned to look at me. "Thank you, sis for saying those sweet words. We both needed to hear them." Emmett said before he reached over and kissed my forehead. "Your welcome big brother." I said and Emmett smiled at me.
"What's in the bags?" I asked as we got back on the road. Rose looked into the bags and smiled. "Liquor." Rose and Em said at the same time. "Sweet I so can't wait to try them." I said as we turned down the road that will lead us home. "Me too, I want to see how you are buzzed and drunk." Em said with a chuckle. I couldn't help but to giggle with him. "Me too. Make sure you record it." I said and Rose looked at me. "Why?" Rose asked me. "Because I want to see what I am like and if it's funny I would like to watch it every now and then." I said and Em chuckled again.
When we got to the house Edward was outside waiting for us. As soon as Em parked I was in such a hurry to get back to Edward. I forgot to take off my seatbelt and tried to get out of the jeep with the seatbelt still on. Edward was at my door chuckling at me as he opened the door. "My love you need to take off the seatbelt before getting out of the jeep." Edward said and I just gave him a look. I sat back down and turned my head away from Edward. "Nyla?" Edward said and I just growled at him. "Such cute growls." Edward said and I still didn't look at him.
I felt Edward took off my seatbelt, I didn't move. "Nyla?" Edward said again. I just moved to the other side of the jeep. "Love?" Edward said as I felt him get into the jeep with me. I was having a hard time trying not to giggle. Then I felt Edward kissed my neck and I moaned. I felt his smile against my neck. "That's not far." I said as I looked at my love. He smiled as he helped me out of the jeep, and he happened to press against my right high. I hissed in pain. "What happened?" Edward said with worry. "You just touched my tattoo." I said as we walked towards the house.
"Sorry I didn't know you got it on your leg." Edward said as he walked beside me. Em and Rose was behind us. "Its ok love." I said. "So, now can we see it?" Em asked. "You didn't show them?" Edward asked me. "I wanted everyone to see it at once. Beside I know Alice already knows what it is. If Rose and Em saw it then you would have heard about it." I said and Alice came over to me. "I don't know what it is. I made sure not to look." Alice said with a smile. "Thank you, Alice. Give me a few minutes to go and change into some shorts." I said before I went up the stairs and to mine and Edwards room.
I put on my bootie shorts so they can see it and it felt nice to have the shorts on, so my tattoo could breath. After taking a deep breath I bounced down the stairs and walked into the living room. Everyone turned their heads as I turned to show them the tattoo. I saw most of their mouths fall open. Jasper had his head turned to one side. "Can you explain the tattoo?" Emmett asked me. "Yep." I said as I pointed to each image. The warrior represents Jasper. The healer represents Carlisle. The bear represents Emmett. The roses are for Rosalie. The mother represents Esme. The heart is for Edward. The pixy represents Alice." I said and they looked at me. "I got something that reminds me of you, my family." I said with a smile.
"Why am I a heart?" Edward asked me. I smiled and blushed at the same time. "You are my heart and soul Edward. The heart represents the love we have for each other." I said with my face still red. "Why am I a pixy?" Alice asked as she got closer to look at the pixy. "You remind me of a pixy." I said making everyone laugh. "Your so funny Nyla." Alice said with a smile. "I could have put a clothing shop instead." I said and everyone laughed harder. Alice even laughed at that. "I rather be a pixy." Alice said.
"I like pixies because of you." I said and Alice smiled at me. "You are a sweetheart." Alice said. I looked at Emmett and he had a huge smile. "So, when are we going to start?" I asked Emmett making everyone look at him. "Let's start now and Alice you might want to get the camcorder." Em said with a huge smile. "You sure about this?" Edward asked me. "Yes, I am sure. You are only human once right?" I said.
I woke up with my head pounding hard. I don't remember what happened for me to have my head hurting like this. "I hope you learned your lesson." Edward whispered into my ear. I hissed like a cat as I moved away from Edward. "I'm sorry." Edward said softly. I whimpered softly. "Take this, this should help with the pain." Edward said as he gave me a few pills and a class of water. I took the pill and drank all the water. "Can I have some more?" I asked and Edward took my glass and went to fill it back up.
I drank about six glasses of water; I give it about an hour before I need to take a piss. It took about three hours for the pounding to stop. When I walked down to the living room and everyone looked at me. "How are you feeling?" Emmett asked me. "My head stopped hurting, so I'm good." I said as I sat in Edwards lap. "That's good." Emmett said with a smile. "What happened yesterday?" I asked softly. "Alice record it all." Rose said and the way she said that. I really don't know if I wanted to know. "You don't get to watch it till your honeymoon." Alice said to me.
"That's not far." I said and Alice smiled at me. "Trust me you want to watch it on your honeymoon." Alice said and I looked at Edward. "Trust Alice you should wait." Edward said and I nodded my head. "Alice anything else we need to do for the wedding?" I asked Alice and she smiled at me.
The Day of the Wedding
It's the day of our wedding and I was dress and waiting in the room. My nerves where going all over the place and I was having a hard time breathing. Carlisle walked into the room. He is going to be walking me down the aisle. "You ready?" Carlisle asked me. "I guess." I said as I felt like I couldn't breathe. "Take a deep breath Nyla." Carlisle said softly and I did want he asked. I felt better. "Thank you, Carlisle." I said as I took his arm. The music started and we walked down the stairs and into the back yard.
The weight was nice, so we are having it outside. There were just a few guests and that was fine with me. Everything felt like it was slowing down as we walked towards Edward. Edward's eyes were only on me as I walked towards him. Then Carlisle gave me to Edward, and we looked at each other. I wanted to do my vows differently and I went first. "With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never empty, For I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way in darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine." I said and Edward looked at me. I was going to say blood instead of wine, but we had humans, so I couldn't say that.
Edward did his and then we became man and wife. When we kissed, I couldn't help but to blush into our kiss that sild our ceremony as man and wife. When we pulled away everyone got up and clapped. The pastor left right after that, so it was good. Had a small dance so we ca have our first dance as husband and wife. "I love you my wife." Edward said into my ear. I smiled before speaking. "I love you too my husband." I said as the song came to an end. Then we dance with the others of the family.
Then it was time to leave. "I have everything packed for you." Alice said to me as we headed for Edwards car. "Thanks Alice." I said before Edward opened the door. I was glade I was able to change before heading out. "Your welcome and have a wonder time you two." Alice said as we said our farewells to the rest of the family. "How long is it going to take us?" I asked because Edward wouldn't tell me what we where going to do for our honeymoon.
"Its going to be 19 hours. So, you might want to sleep." Edward said and I nodded. I closed my eyes and the only time I open them is to change planes. I slept most of the trip, but I was up for the good parts and to eat. "We are almost there my love. We just have another hour before we get there." Edward said as we got on a small boat. "Ok my love." I said as Edward helped me into the boat.
