Yeah, he's been through a lot so he can handle situations like that. Yeah, it seems that Rappa and Eri do get along. Keita and Katsuki will be able to see one another again soon. Yup, Himiko's appeared now! Keita and Eri do have a good relationship huh. Yeah, Keita helped out Himiko and is gonna make sure that she, and Eri are going to be safe. Yeah, Sir Nighteye can see the benefits of him gaining it. Yeah, he does at least a little bit better. Yeah, they'd have to find out on their own, it's not something he'd broadcast. He'll be getting trained by a few people. I could imagine Mirko having something like that. Something similar to that I guess~ He can make spikes, he's just not had the need to do so yet. Yeah, Eri can smile. I'm sure Kai is going to be watching him. All of them couldn't be there, but a good portion of them will be. Yeah, what's gonna happen there will be revealed next chapter. He'll either take Sato or Koda's place, leaning more towards Sato. I could see that too~ Yeah, those are magics I like. Sure Langris could. They could have a friendship like that yeah. Baby 5 would be pretty good yeah, I like her and her Devil Fruit too. Yeah, maybe he could be~ He could be that strong yeah~ They wont be apart of this raid, but he'll get to know them. Kai will show some more human moments related to Keita since he can bring it out of him. He'll be quite agile. He might be able to pull it off even without, we'll have to wait and see if he can. Nejire and Takami wont be, but Keita will be meeting them quite soon.

Well, with those lovely reviews out of the way, it's time to start the chapter!
Keita's choice!
It had been almost two weeks since they had moved, and now the location they were in was rather...darker compared to the one before.
The hallways seemed to go on endlessly. The colours weren't really diverse, all either being a brownish brick colour, or a burning red colour. The kitchen however was quite nice, and since Keita did like to cook a good deal, then he was alright if that place was a bit better than the rest of them.
But even though the situation was bleak, Keita and Eri were beginning to bond more and more.
She was becoming quite attached to him, while he began thinking more and more about her safety.
So far, Kai hadn't tried to Overhaul her to his knowledge, it seemed like he was actually doing what Keita had asked for a change.
But he could see it in his eyes, Keita knew that Kai was still thinking about doing something...
But ignoring that, Keita was currently busy helping Eri, teaching her how to count.
"So, if you add five onto three, what do you get Eri-chan?"
"Five...huh. So three...add five...okay Kei-chan. But...I need to use my fingers..."
"That's alright, you can use your fingers."
Eri gave a shy nod, and placed her hand out, and began counting on her fingers.
"...Four...Five...erm...erm….S-Six...Seven...erm...ooh, I know! It's eight Kei-chan!"
Keita clapped his hands together happily for the young girl.
"That's exactly it Eri-chan! You're so smart~"
Keita praised as Himiko skipped into the room.
"Mou, Kei-chan. It's getting to lunch time, are you cooking?"
Asking with a cute expression on her face, Keita lightly smiled.
"Time for lunch it seems, we've been working hard Eri-chan. Right, I'll go and make some food, you wait in here, and watch t.v okay Eri-chan?"
"Okay, Kei-chan."
Keita lightly rubbed her head, and walked off into the kitchen with Himiko skipping to follow him. Since Keita could see her from the kitchen, he knew that she'd be alright.
Himiko was hugging Keita from behind, her hands running up and down his torso, almost in an affectionate like manner.
Eri herself watched some television, waiting for Keita to come back.
However, as she was, Kai entered the room, and Eri immediately froze.
Seeing the cold unforgiving eyes of Kai…
It was terrifying for her.
"Eri..."
Eri kept her head down.
She didn't want to speak to him.
She didn't want to be near him.
"It seems that you're causing trouble for Keita."
"Tro-Trouble?"
Kai nodded, showcasing a calm disposition, but also narrowed eyebrows.
"That's right. You're a curse, Eri." Eri's eyes lowered as Kai moved forward. "If you weren't so difficult, then Keita wouldn't have to take care of you all of the time."
"Kei-chan…I don't...want to make...things...hard for Kei-chan..."
"Exactly. So come with me, and we'll do tests. We shouldn't bother Keita, especially with your ways. Putting too much pressure on him to look after you, it's selfish Eri."
Eri didn't like that idea.
She didn't want to go with him.
But she didn't want to cause trouble for Keita either.
As he walked closer, Keita came into the room with Himiko, having heard voices, seeing Kai's hand nearing Eri.
"What do you think you're doing?"
Keita snapped, Eri's eyes turned to Keita, seeing that he was staring hard at Kai, so she jumped up, and ran behind him.
Kai's eyebrows knitted together, as Eri clung to Keita's leg.
"Nothing, I was just checking up on the girl, that's all."
Keita wasn't convinced.
He could see fear on Eri's face.
A look, he didn't want to see on the young girl ever again.
He bent down towards her, showcasing a smile to ease her.
"Eri-chan, are you okay?"
She went to reply...when she remembered what Kai had said.
How she'd make things difficult for Keita.
She didn't want to do that, so she simply nodded.
"...Yes, I'm fine Kei-chan."
Keita wasn't convinced by her either.
It seemed something had happened while he wasn't there.
"...Then it's time for lunch, come on Eri-chan."
"Okay...Kei-chan."
Eri glanced at Kai who narrowed his eyebrows at her.
She got nothing from him...but dark intentions.
Stiffening, she held onto Keita's hand as they walked out.
Keita, definitely knew something wasn't right.
He just hoped that Kai hadn't done anything to her while he was away for those few minutes.
Days later, tossing and turning in the new bed that he had, Keita was thinking about the life that he had left behind.
Keita kept searching his brain for methods on how to get Himiko out of the Shie Hassaikai, though if he was honest with himself, it seemed as if she was rather relaxed. He didn't know how she was, since he himself was worried about her well being.
Since Kai was becoming more...worrisome, Keita had decided to have direct access to Eri's room. In case anything was to happen. Her room was right next to his own, and though he was worried about Kai, he was going to do his best to make sure that Kai didn't do anything to the young girl.
As he moved on his bed, he felt a weight beside him.
It wasn't particularly heavy, so he wasn't sure what it was.
He suspected Eri…
But, it couldn't be her based on the size.
Slowly opening his eyes, he viewed Himiko laying next to him, a wide grin on her face.
"Good morning~"
She grinned out, Keita blinked a few times, before seeing that she was simply wearing a quite revealing negligee. She hadn't even considered (or maybe she did and didn't care) that he could see a good portion of her body.
His cheeks began to turn a soft red colour at the sight of Himiko.
"W-Why are you here?"
"Not gonna freak out?" She laughed cutely, jumping up, and got onto his hips leaning down and expressed a cat like smile. "Look, now we're in a different lovers position~ I also see that you sleep in only underwear, how cute~"
Keita lightly flushed as she moved up and down, seeing her figure on full display for his eyes.
"Y-Yeah, I guess...b-but, why are you here…?"
Himiko pouted, she wanted to play a little longer.
But, it seemed as if she had to begin speaking about serious subjects, something she didn't want to do.
"That cleaning guy asked me to come and get you. But, when viewing your sleeping face...I just couldn't resist, and I had to get into bed with you~ It was the best sight I've seen in a long time, seeing a cute boy sleeping~"
Keita gave a bemused look, before sitting up on the bed. Himiko fell against him, allowing her smooth fingertips to run themselves across his flesh, drinking in his upper body for herself. Seeing the way that his light muscle tone shivered at her slightest of touches.
"The cleaning guy...you mean big brother?"
"I guess, all he does is stare at me as if I'm the weirdo. He's always having people clean things, and he's obsessed with germs. Honestly, how does he ever do anything if he's such a freaky germaphobe? Well, it doesn't matter. Now, shall we cuddle Kei-chan~?"
It seemed that Himiko had gotten into calling him 'Kei-chan' copying Eri's example. Though he didn't mind at all.
"Maybe later~ Got to go and see what big brother wishes for~"
"Awww, and I thought we could have some fun times together~"
Keita truly had to question if she did understand her life was quite literally in danger. He had explained to her what Kai was capable of. But she was relaxed, which astonished him. He didn't know if she should be in awe at how calm she was, or be worried at how calm she was.
Either way, Keita decided to push those feelings down for the moment, and got up off the bed. But as he did, Himiko laid back on his bed, her eyes hungrily going towards Keita's body. Seeing him from behind, she definitely liked what she was seeing.
"So Kei-chan, what are we doing today?"
"I'm not sure, whatever big brother wants I guess. Though, I've got to make sure that Eri-chan is...safe. Speaking of, I should go and check on her..."
Keita went to move, when Himiko sprinted up from the bed, her hand resting on his lower back, the other hand placing itself on the right side of his chest. Smoothly running her fingers across his skin, seeing a small shiver through his entire being.
"Don't worry, her Granddad is spending time with her~"
"You sure?"
"Yup, I saw them go together and everything~"
"I see..."
He was relieved, he was going to make sure that she was still okay. Though Himiko hadn't lied to him since coming to the new Shie Hassaikai building, so he doubted that she was lying to him now.
Himiko furrowed her brows.
"Kei-chan, you're like so sure that this Kai would do something to her. She's a little girl, even I wouldn't hurt a little girl. So, why would he?"
"Because...I just know my brother, that's all..."
Himiko pursed her lips.
"Oh...Bastard, makes me want to cut him up."
"Your concern is rather touching."
Himiko gained a light smirk, and ran her hand down his back, going lower and lower.
"Speaking of touching, how about we have some cute fun Kei-chan~?"
Keita took her hand, and held onto it, making her blush even more.
"Maybe later~"
"I'll hold you to that Kei-chan."
Keita gave her a curious stare, before getting dressed to the disheartened feelings of Himiko who wished to take a bit longer to look him over.
Once getting dressed, Keita went to quickly check on Eri, seeing that she was with her Grandfather, and she had breakfast, then he went to go and meet his elder brother within the kitchen area. Himiko came skipping behind him, wrapping her arm around his own.
Seeing Kai looking towards him, Keita exhaled slowly.
"Is there something wrong?"
"No, nothing's wrong. But there's something I want to show you."
Kai said, offering his hand towards the young boy.
Curiosity came over him, and he wondered what Kai was truly thinking about right now.
"What do you want to show me?"
"While Eri is being looked after, I want to show you the things I've been gathering lately. Before we left our previous hideout, until arriving here, and continuing. It's time to become a more active member of the Shie Hassaikai Keita, we need your power."
Seeing him thrusting his hand towards Keita, the boy didn't have a choice but to take it.
Taking it, Keita was taken out of the room with Himiko.
Taken a good deal ways from the new Shie Hassaikai building, Keita didn't recognize any kind of buildings around now. They didn't seem to be as...big as the last ones. They seemed to be more subdued, more rural than before.
He presumed they were now in a rural area, maybe to get away from the Hero's.
"Hey Himiko-san, do you recognize where we are?"
He whispered, but she shrugged.
"If I have to guess, I'd say that we're probably on the outskirts of some city."
"Hmmm, yes probably you're right...it seems like it is a more hidden part..."
"What are you whispering about?"
Kai gave scrutinizing eyes, with Keita shaking his head.
"Admiring the area."
"We're seeing if there's any places for potential dates~" Himiko smiled out, cuddling against Keita affectionately to his bewilderment. "You know, that's what lovers do when they want to express their love for each other...well, that and also getting between the sheets, which Kei-chan and I will do whenever he wants~" Keita gave her a curious expression as she continued with a bright smile. "Say germaphobe guy, do you have a love interest?" Kai narrowed his eyes at her, so she stuck out her tongue. "I guess not then~"
Himiko whistled out while Kai didn't seem amused at all.
They walked down the street at a quick pace.
It seemed that while they weren't in the centre of a city, some lesser known Hero's still patrolled the area. He presumed that these Hero's didn't know about him or they'd have tried something.
But they didn't spare a glance.
They continued for a few minutes, before arriving a large warehouse type area. Keita wasn't sure what was going on, but Kai brought him with him inside, along with Himiko.
Upon entering inside, Keita saw something that was shocking.
Keita knew that Kai had been gathering new people.
But he could see many people filling the warehouse, he counted over 70 at least, not including the people Keita already knew about such as Chronostasis or Rappa.
He also saw that Mimic and Shin as well, the former was simply grinning and the latter was looking at Kai as if waiting for an order.
Keita also wondered if there were more people around them that he wasn't aware of.
Rappa happened to see Keita walking in, and so did Chronostasis.
"Kid, you're here, why?"
"I don't know, I was brought here by big brother."
Rappa glanced at Kai who gave him an uncaring look.
Kai brought Keita along with him, and whispered to the boy.
"Look at them Keita. Like sheep, following a wolf. In terms of those games you play, these are the underlings to the main boss, like myself. And people such as Rappa, and Chrono, are the mini bosses."
"...How did you manage to convince so many people?"
Kai allowed a light smile to appear, lightly petting the top of Keita's head.
"Because of our power. Watch Keita, as we build greater forces, in coming times, I'll be splitting them off into groups."
Keita didn't know what that meant, but he simply followed his elder brother to the stage.
It was like some cult leader looking at the masses, and commanding them.
Keita didn't know what Kai had done to make them follow him.
He could see some people having a growth like Quirk, where their bodies, or parts of their bodies would grow. He saw some transformation types, he saw some more normal ones such as one with swords growing from his arms, among other things like that. He even saw some that had the standard giant making Quirks that grew either a part of their bodies, or their entire bodies themselves. Some even had some kind of elemental like powers, but they weren't on the levels of what Keita has seen other people use. Like seeing someone produce electricity from their eyes, or a tongue that was on fire, even someone seemingly crying which could be used to fight with as the tears danced by the users will.
While a good chunk didn't seem particularly powerful, Keita was still amazed that Kai managed to get so many people on his side, and kept questioning how he did it, though he could tell that some did have good powers, and they were a cut above the rest.
"Wow, he's made like all these people follow him. And here I thought he was just some germ obsessed dude. Guess he's got some charm to him." Himiko giggled, hugging Keita's arm tightly. "But not as charming as you my cute cuddly Kei-chan~ If you want, we could also cut a bit and see a bit of blood..."
"Later, I promise."
Himiko shrugged, looking happily around as Rappa glanced down at Keita.
He wondered if he'd be able to speak to him about what he wanted in his life.
As Kai made his speech to the masses, Keita could tell that it was supposed to be inspirational.
To Keita though, it sounded like crazy talk.
Something someone would say to appease a crowd as massive as this, as if he was leading some kind of Villain group. That's what it was, Kai could dress it up as Yakuza members, but from what Keita had learned from the Boss, this wasn't Yakuza, this was straight up Villains.
"...And now, to introduce you to your second in command." Chronostasis puffed out his chest and began moving forward, believing himself to be the second in command, but that was shattered when Kai directed his hand towards Keita, rather than him. "My little brother."
Keita's eyes widened when he said that, he didn't think that would happen.
Chronostasis was stunned, and let out an exasperated "W-What?!" but Kai chose to ignore him, as Kai took Keita's hand, and pulled him to the front. Keita overlooked the people that had gathered, seeing the different people in the crowd.
But, all he got was cold, and horrible looking gazes.
They also seemed to have almost worship looking eyes for Kai.
Whatever he had done, they were following Kai.
"It wouldn't be possible without my brother, he's the key to my plans, and his power, will help us all shine. Together, with my brother, we shall make the Yakuza great again. So, you'll also follow any orders that he gives you, is that clear?"
[Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!]
Keita wondered if they actually cared about the Yakuza.
Though to Kai's credit, something Keita didn't think he'd ever even think about, it did seem that the majority of them seemingly admired Kai, or wished to be beside him and fight.
Perhaps they were brainwashed.
It would make sense to him.
Or, they were so frightened by him, that they'd follow him wherever he'd go.
It would be one of them, Keita thought.
Kai then began his ramblings to the masses, while Chronostasis angrily turns to Keita in a hushed tone.
"You little bastard, I've dedicated my life to Overhaul, that position beside him belongs to me...and you...just because you've got what he needs, because you're his little brother...trust me little boy, one step out of place, and I'll make sure you're finished."
Rappa slapped Chronostasis upside the head, while Keita looked towards him.
"Oi, don't start on the kid Chrono asshole. Or I'll have to become involved."
Chronostasis huffed, glaring towards Keita who stared back at him without any fear.
"Too scared to talk boy? Have to have your bodyguard do it for you?"
"I'm not scared of you Hari, and just because you're angered, it doesn't mean anything to me. Go and speak to my brother if you're not satisfied."
Using his real name, Chronostasis was even more annoyed than before.
"Hmph, whatever. I know that Overhaul still relies on me, I'm his number one right hand man. You're nothing but a tool."
Keita rolled his eyes, he didn't seem to really care.
Himiko though said "You're a piece of horse shit." drawing his attention towards her, who whistled innocently.
"Keep her in check, or she might end up..."
He stopped when Keita's eyes fell on him.
The protective feelings Keita had manifested in his stare.
"Don't threaten her, or you'll deal with me."
Chronostasis frowned at the sight before him, he wasn't quite pleased with the way that Keita had stood up for Himiko.
Himiko on the other hand was ecstatic that he did, and happily said "Lets cuddle~" and did just that, hugging his upper body eagerly, causing a small blush to run across his cheeks.
Kai finished off soon after, and glanced at Chronostasis, seeing his general direction being faced towards Keita himself.
"Something on your mind? Is there a reason why you're staring at my little brother?"
"N...No, of course not, Overhaul. Shall I do anything for you?"
"No, I just need to spend time with my little brother." Kai placed a hand on Keita's shoulder. "Come, we need to go."
"Yes..."
Keita followed after Kai, seeing a few people bowing and waving.
Keita didn't like the idea of evil people bowing to him.
As they walked outside, Keita glanced at Kai.
"You mentioned our power...what did you mean by that? You said also that...it wouldn't be possible without me...big brother, what are you up to?"
Kai let out a small laugh.
"Don't worry Keita, I'll take care of everything."
"You just said that I'm your second in command, so shouldn't you tell me what's going on?"
Keita probably guessed that the 'second in command' thing was either a way to rally people up which he was doubtful by, or it was to do with this thing that Keita had, this 'power' that Kai was referencing, or maybe to make Chronostasis work harder, though he doubted that as well, so he went with the second idea he thought up.
"I can't deny your words. But, I also don't want to worry you. Just believe in me Keita. Together, nothing can stand in our way. Our powers...they're going to show this world that nothing can stand in our way."
"Still...I can't help but feel uneasy about this. The more people you get, the more likely will rebel. They have no honour. The Boss always said that those without honour will betray you. The people in their didn't have any morals from what I could see, they weren't Yakuza material."
Kai raised his hands into the air, seemingly looking a mixture of uncaring and also deep thinking.
"Yes, he does say that, the people in their don't have the honour of the Yakuza. But, in times like this, beggars can't be choosers. These people though, they just have to blindly follow me. Didn't you see? Every word I said, they drank it up. They need direction, guidance. I gave that to them. With our powers Keita...there's nothing that we couldn't accomplish. Even All Might, couldn't stand to the power that we have. Your power...will make us great, nothing can stand up to us."
Keita wasn't sure what he was thinking about right now.
It seemed that whatever it was that he did to make them follow him, Kai had something that could help him gain control of others. And Keita kept wondering what kind of power he'd have, that could help Kai in his plans, considering how their Quirks seemed to work.
Though Kai seemed to understand something that Keita had, that even Keita didn't know about.
Whatever it was, Keita wasn't sure he liked the idea of it at all.
In fact, he was becoming increasingly worried.
The people that were gathering, this seemingly 'power' that Kai had…
Keita truly wasn't sure what to make of it.
Days later, Keita had some stuff he had to drop off at the office, towards the Boss for some new data, Keita wasn't sure since he didn't get involved in that side of the Shie Hassaikai.
But he couldn't stop thinking about Eri.
The way that she looked.
The way Kai had caused her to tremble.
How she was frightened…
He could tell something had happened, but she wasn't speaking about it, no matter what he tried.
As Keita was walking to the Boss' office, he heard raised voices.
[Kai, that's inhumane! I can't believe you'd even suggest that!]
It was the Boss' voice, seemingly telling Kai off about something.
Keita moved closer to the door, and listened intently.
[Can't you see? It's the perfect plan. Her power, it would allow us to reinstate the Yakuza. Her blood would allow us to take control over society. Selling the destroying drug to the Villains and the restoring drug to the Hero's. With Eri in the middle. We could become great again.]
[Becoming great again, isn't worth it if you're intending to harm a little girl, Kai. I thought that I had raised you better than that. If you're truly thinking of going down this path...then I want you to leave this organization.]
The way that the Boss spoke, it seemed as if he was against Kai's plans.
At least from what Keita could tell.
But even if he was...would Kai truly accept that?
"Harm a little girl...he's not thinking about...has he really gone to the Boss to ask if he could...Overhaul her? Would he even...or, is this a last chance for the Boss...to agree with his plans? Big brother...what are you thinking? You wouldn't...harm the Boss, would you? He was like a Father to both of us...even you must care enough to not harm him...right?"
At this point, Keita didn't know.
He truly wasn't sure if the Boss would be in danger.
[You'd kick Keita out as well would you?]
A cold venomous way to speak, Keita thought as he heard the Boss rebuke what Kai said.
[Keita, wouldn't be kicked out. You, would be if you keep speaking like this. Your brother is a very good boy, perhaps if you looked at him, then you'd understand what you're asking of me. If I had suggested that kind of inhumane act regarding Keita, would you be as receptive to the idea?]
The Boss countered.
Keita wasn't happy about what he was hearing.
It seemed as if Kai truly was going to do something now…
He was going to try something with Eri no doubt.
That's the only person Keita could think of.
It wouldn't be Himiko, the Boss didn't know her enough to become this agitated.
But his own family…
Yeah, the Boss definitely would do it for this.
[I thought you'd understand. Clearly, you'd not understand at all…]
Keita, hearing the dark tone to his voice, knew that Kai was intending to do something.
He was going to harm the Boss.
He just knew it.
[Kai, what is this nonsense?]
[You'll understand. Once you see me thriving. I just need you to sleep for a little while...]
Keita couldn't allow him to continue, so he opened the door, seeing Kai's hand inches away from the Boss' face.
"Wait big brother! Stop!"
Kai's hand paused the moment he was going to do something to the Boss.
"Keita...why are you here?"
Keita walked forward, his eyes dancing between Kai and the Boss. He saw that the Boss looked worried, while Kai had his dark expression on. If he hadn't of come in...Keita didn't even want to know what could've happened.
"I was delivering reports to the Boss...what are you doing?"
Kai looked over Keita, a secret amount of disappointment in his eyes that Keita had arrived when he did seemed to make its way to the surface, Keita seeing that Kai truly was going to do something unthinkable to the Boss, and with that...Keita knew that Kai truly had lost what little humanity that he had for others.
Even if he showed some humanity to him…
The Boss was someone that Kai respected, but now, all Keita could see is annoyance in his eyes for the Boss. That, and the lingering respect he had for the old man. But that still didn't seem to be enough for Kai to not use his Quirk on the older man.
"Nothing, just having a disagreement, that's all. It's over with now." Kai's eyes shot towards the Boss, who lowered his eyes. "Consider my proposal. I promise, it will make the Shie Hassaikai great again."
With that, Kai strolled out of the room, brushing past Keita as he offered his little brother a reassuring smile.
Keita waited until he was gone, shutting the door behind him and went towards the Boss.
"Sir, are you okay?"
"...Yes, I'm perfectly fine." His eyes landed on Keita who looked relieved. "Keita...where's Eri?"
"She's perfectly safe, I've just had her play in my room. Why, is there something wrong?"
The Boss furrowed his eyebrows, and ended up shaking his neck.
"No, there's nothing wrong. Thank you for delivering the reports."
"Sir...can I do anything for you?"
The Boss gently pets Keita's head.
"No my boy, there's nothing you can do for me. Apart from one thing."
"Yes Sir?"
"Eri...don't let her out of your sight. You can control your brothers actions..."
"Sir, big brother-"
"Just, do as I ask, and make sure that girls safe."
"...May I ask, is it to do with what I just heard-"
"Don't worry about that, just promise me, you'll always be there, for Eri. Make sure...she's safe."
"Sir...of course. I will always make sure she's safe."
Keita bowed his head, and walked out of the room.
Whatever Kai had said to him...it had disturbed him.
Keita had a feeling that the Boss now had an idea on how dark Kai truly could be.
Going back to his room, he saw Eri simply sat on his bed, colouring in some pictures with Himiko swaying beside her.
Eri, upon seeing Keita, picked up a picture she had coloured, and presented it to Keita.
Keita overlooked it, and smiled lightly.
"Is this for me?"
"Yes...I coloured it for...Kei-chan."
"Awww, that's so kind~ Thank you Eri-chan~"
Keita lightly petted her head, as he sat down on the bed.
"Look, I did one too. But don't show Eri-chan, it's too naughty~" Keita glanced at it, and saw why Eri couldn't see it...seeing what Keita and Himiko were doing in the drawing. "I haven't seen size yet, but I'm gonna guess that it's-"
"Okay, that's great, thanks Himiko-san~"
"No worries~"
She giggled out happily.
Keita gave her and Eri curious looks, his mind racing about what happened with the Boss and Kai.
It seemed Kai was going to eventually pursue Eri.
He couldn't stop it.
He was running low on ideas on how to protect this girl.
Not just her, but Himiko as well.
Eri was a child…
He couldn't allow them to go through it to.
He already died regularly, he couldn't have a little girl or even a teenager girl go through that.
Placing a hand over his mouth, Keita's eyes were drawn back to Eri who was cutely playing with some crayons, and Himiko was looking towards Keita, seeing the troubled expression on his face, simply embraced him kindly, which did bring him some comfort.
"Don't worry Kei-chan, everything will be fine~"
Keita wished that was true.
But from what he just heard...he truly wasn't sure.
"She's just a child...she's a child under my protection...Eri-chan, you don't deserve this...you deserve a better life than this...a life that I can't give you right now…" His hand reached into a draw, and after doing some searching, he pulled out Sir Nighteye's card. "...but, Hero's can. I don't want anyone to die because of me...but, I can't have Eri-chan or Himiko-san die either...if I could get them out of here...if I could save them...the Boss is going to get hurt, I can't always be there in time...Eri-chan, Himiko-san...I can take dying...but they didn't ask for this..."
As he was thinking about it, Eri noticed that Keita was looking depressed.
Eri took his hand, and whispered "Kei-chan…?" drawing his attention.
"E-Eri-chan, is something wrong?"
"No...Kei-chan, you look sad...why are you sad?"
Keita hadn't even realized he was looking sad.
He needed to be strong now.
For this girls sake.
"Eri-chan, I need you to tell me...big brother Kai...does he scare you?" Seeing her reluctance, Keita neck bent towards her. "It's alright to tell me. I'll make sure you're safe. But I need you to tell me Eri-chan...does he scare you?"
Eri wasn't sure if she should.
She kept remembering Kai, and how his dark eyes were on her.
But seeing the light warm eyes of Keita…
She felt like she truly should say something.
Perhaps, he'd be able to help her understand a few things.
"...Yes."
Keita thought that was the case.
Still, he needed to know the extent of it.
So he could make a decision.
"Big brother...is he mean to you? Does he say bad things to you?"
Eri, to his sadness, began nodding.
"...H-He sometimes calls me...cursed, and says that...I make things hard for Kei-chan, and if I did...Kei-chan wouldn't like me anymore...it makes me feel...bad...I don't...want to cause trouble for Kei-chan...I don't want to...be selfish..."
Keita tightened his free hand, his other hand was holding onto Eri's own. Seeing the sadness of this little girl, he couldn't take it. He was one thing, he was used to it...but not her. She shouldn't have to be used to it.
"Don't listen to him, you're not cursed, and I'd never dislike you. And you don't cause trouble for me either Eri-chan. You're definitely not selfish, I like making sure you're okay Eri-chan." He leaned down to Eri, who was looking sad, and gently embraced her. "Eri-chan...has he ever hurt you before?"
"...No, but he..."
Keita knew what she was going to say, but he had said it to her before...that's what she probably was going to say.
"Eri-chan, you don't have to be frightened to tell me anything. I know big brothers scary...but, don't listen to him, Eri-chan is one of my favourite people. No matter what happens, I'll always protect you, Eri-chan. I'll keep you safe."
Eri, letting out her emotions, continued hugging him as she cried.
It wasn't right.
Reducing a little girl to tears like this.
He couldn't...he couldn't take it anymore.
When it was just him, it was easier.
He could take the sadness if it was only him.
But this innocent girl, she was still young, she had a better life...waiting for her.
A saying he had heard from Sir Nighteye.
A better life…
He wondered, if he could give Eri a better life.
But if he could...he wondered how he was going to do that.
Later on, Keita thought about what would be the best...but, in his heart of hearts, he knew what the best thing to do was.
He watched as Eri slept on his bed, with Himiko also doing the same thing.
As he thought about it, the door opened to reveal Rappa.
"Yo kid, what do you say to some..." His eyes landed on Keita, seeing him with his head to his knees, deep in thought, so Rappa went to the side of him, and placed a hand on his back. "Eeh...Kid, I'm not good with comforting others, so..."
"I'm...alright Rappa-san..."
Rappa shook his head.
"No, you're not alright."
Keita's eyes met with Rappa's own.
"Rappa-san...I can't...I can't protect Eri-chan...one way or another...he's going to..."
"Overhaul her." Keita nodded, as Rappa pushed closer. "Like he does you."
Keita gasped.
He hadn't told Rappa about that.
He hadn't told him so he'd not get angry about it.
Rappa had seen the scars on his arms sure, but Keita always lied about it, knowing how Rappa, especially now that they had a relationship, would react. He didn't want Rappa to get himself killed for him.
"...When did you find out?"
Rappa showed a light smirk on his face.
"Give me some credit kid, I noticed the signs. The way he'd drag you off, how he'd remove his glove, how you'd flinch when the word Overhaul was mentioned, I put it together. And by your words, I presume that I'm right, aren't I?" Keita didn't verbally say anything, but he simply nodded. "Listen kid, I chose this kind of life for myself, you didn't have this choice."
Keita saw that Rappa was giving a surprisingly kind smile...as kind as Rappa could be anyway.
"But, if I did go, if I tried to escape, it would be difficult...people could die...but at the same time, Eri-chan and Himiko-san...I promised I'd protect them...to get them out of here..."
"Screw Overjerk, he's robbed too much of your life from you. I know your kind ways stop you from thinking about your own well being...but, it's time to be selfish. Remember, I talked about how I'm selfish?" Keita inclined his neck. "This is that time for you to be selfish. Look, don't ask me to give any inspiration speeches, I don't got any for you. But, I do know one thing about you."
"And that is…?"
Keita wondered, not sure where Rappa was going with this.
"You made me actually like you. That's a very hard thing to accomplish, you know?" Keita's smile began to show as Rappa chortled. "Have to say, I'm gonna miss you, but if you're doing what you want in life...then I'd be happy."
"Rappa-san...you could come with me...you don't have to stay here…we could live together, and...I know that you don't like the normalcy's of life...but, we could find something new, something interesting...together."
Trying to persuade him, Keita knew the chances of him actually succeeding would be weak.
And he was right when Rappa waved his hand to deny the young boy.
"Nah, you belong in that world, full of Hero's. If I was there, you'd probably end up being dragged into fighting, which is something that I wouldn't want to do to you. Hey, I bet you're one of the best Hero's, if you choose to become one...your kindness is what this world needs. I belong in a world of fighting and killing my opponents. You've already seen too much killing, it's time to see what other things this world has to offer you. Trust me kid...you'll make something better about this world."
Keita bequeathed a large smile to Rappa, as he embraced the bigger man.
Rappa felt awkward about it, seeing as how Keita was holding onto him.
But, it seemed that it was something that he needed.
"This kid...pushed past the breaking point. He doesn't deserve this kind of life...hmph, it's weird for me to even think about these things...but, in the end, I really did end up liking this kid. Damn kid, you've made me actually like you...I hate that I like you...damn it."
As he thought about it, a smile was plastered on his face, showing that despite thinking he hated it...he actually liked it, that he did end up meeting Keita.
Keita pulled away and gave a light smile.
"I'll miss you...Rappa-san."
Rappa held back his own smile, trying to appear as tough as he could.
But Keita could see through his tough demeanour, and could see the man that was behind the facade Rappa was projecting.
"Yeah well...maybe I will too."
Keita expected an answer like that.
So aloof, yet he could feel the inner intentions of Rappa.
"...Even now, you're being like this Rappa-san...well, that's alright with me. Because that's how you are, and I'd never change you…but Rappa-san, I need to ask you for a favour...just one more thing."
"Hey kid, I'll always be your guard, so tell me what you want."
Keita couldn't help but feel his face growing with his smile.
"...I want a phone please...and the precise location we're in."
"Can do kid, give me a little time."
Keita lightly smiled.
"Thank you...for everything."
"No problem kid."
"...Now, like you said...just this once, I want to be selfish Rappa-san...I want to make a choice. My first real choice...I now have a reason why...I have Eri-chan and Himiko-san to protect. They...are my reason."
"They're your reasons...yeah, they're good reasons."
Keita and Rappa stayed together for a little while.
Knowing that this could be one of, if not, the last time that they did.
They made the most of it, and enjoyed one another's company.
Sir Nighteye, with the darkness of the night settling in, arrived back at his home. Casually slipping in through the door, he placed his bag down, and sat down within his living room.
All the time that they had been searching, the false hope that the Hero's had on finding them, Sir Nighteye had to wonder in the back of his mind if they'd ever find him.
Kai clearly wasn't taking chances, he wasn't an idiot, and he was doing all he could to keep Keita away from the Hero's, and right now, it was working.
They had some luck in tracking down their former base, but when raiding it...they had already gone, without a trace. And now, they had been keeping a very low profile, it was blood boiling to know that they came so close, and nothing came of it in the end...
As he went to go and get a drink…
His phone suddenly began to ring.
Curiously, since he wasn't sure why anyone would ring at this time of night unless there was important information to be given, he looked at the number, and saw that it was an unknown number to him.
Becoming more curious, he accepted the call, putting it to his ear.
"Hello, who is this?"
His voice carried no emotions, as he questioned the caller.
However, he was in for a big shock when the identity of the caller was revealed.
[...Hello, is this Sir Nighteye-san? It's...Keita.]
"K-Keita-san..."
He couldn't even believe it was.
He thought for a few moments it was Kai simply messing with him.
After all this time, it was shocking to see it happening now.
[Yes...erm, Sir Nighteye-san...you said to me that...I should want better things for myself, that I didn't have to suffer anymore...I've decided...I'd like to be rescued now.]
Those words.
Those simply, yet effective words…
He was so relieved he couldn't believe it was real for a few moments.
But Keita...he now wanted to be rescued, so when they found him...
"Y-Yes, I'm so happy you said that. Tell me your location and I'll assemble the Hero's."
[Of course.]
Keita then began explaining where they were, the exact location he found out.
Once explaining, Keita exhaled slowly.
[...That's where we are right now, Sir Nighteye-san.]
"That's quite the distance from here...yes, thank you Keita-san. With this information, we will gather everything we need, and we will be there tomorrow morning. Do not worry, you are not alone anymore."
Hearing that, Keita couldn't help but feel a warm spreading inside of him.
[I'm...Sir Nighteye-san, the reason I called is...is because I need your help to save a little girl...she's here with me, more than me, she needs to be saved, also there's another girl with me, she was also kidnapped by my brother, I'm trying my best to protect them but...my brother, I'm sure that eventually, he will do something…I feel terrible, because I can't protect them by myself...]
"No, you don't have to feel terrible. It's alright to rely on Hero's."
A disheartened noise came from the other side of the phone, from Keita.
[…Yes, but I also don't want any Hero to die...I can't let them die...big brothers not weak...I've seen what he's truly capable of...and he's been gathering new people, he has a lot of new people...while they don't have particularly strong Quirks from what I can tell...they do have access to Trigger, and there are some standouts within the expendables...as my brother calls them. They also...have some unknown power...I don't know what it is, but big brother said that it would be enough to take down All Might potentially.]
Sir Nighteye furrowed his eyebrows.
It seemed as if Kai had been increasing his group a good bit.
"You don't have to suffer anymore, any Hero would say the same. Once we find you, we'll take both you and these girls away. And even if there's many, we will bring strong Hero's, All Might is able to take down many people. And he wont be alone, he'll have support of other Hero's."
Sir Nighteye encouraged, knowing how difficult it must be for Keita to go through all of this.
[Sir Nighteye-san…] He paused, and composed himself. [I have a request...the Boss...the leader of the Shie Hassaikai that isn't my brother...please, I know that he's a Yakuza leader...but, he's taken care of me for years, he doesn't know about what big brother is doing to me...whatever happens, be lenient with him…please. And also...Rappa-san too...he's been really kind to me...without him, I wouldn't be able to ring you now...I know I'm asking a lot, and I'd understand if you couldn't...but, Rappa-san and the Boss...they both are honourable people.]
"...That's not up to me, Keita-san. But, I will do my best to make sure they don't have that hard of a punishment. It's the best that I can do. I don't want to offer false promises."
[I understand, thank you for being honest...but there is, one last thing...with my brother.]
"Yes?"
Sir Nighteye wondered.
Keita inhaled and exhaled a few times, before breathing out.
[Please, I want him to be stopped...but, not dead. I want him arrested, so he can't hurt anyone ever again. So no one has to go through what I've been through...and also...he's my only blood relative...I know he's a monster, but he's still my brother. …I need him to understand what he's done to me, truly understand. How he's changed from the caring big brother that once protected me...to the monster he is now that only hurts me.]
Sir Nighteye believed he understood what Keita was saying.
He wasn't forgiving Kai for any of his actions.
But at the same time, Kai at one point in Keita's life, did genuinely care for him, protected him, loved him.
Those memories probably allowed Keita to endure everything he had been through.
So it was perfectly understandable why he'd want his brother to understand what he had done to him.
"I understand...Hero's will come and arrest him. Whatever feelings you have for him, can be discussed with him afterwards. In a safe place where he can't hurt you anymore."
[...Thank you Sir Nighteye-san. I'm...sorry that it's been so long, I thought that if I was the only one suffering, then no one else would have too…but now I have Eri-chan to think about, I have Himiko-san to think about also...I can't let them suffer like I did...I can't let them die, like me.]
"Don't worry about that. You've done the right thing. Leave the rest to us Hero's, we'll come and save you. That's my promise Keita-san. You aren't alone, anymore."
Sir Nighteye heard Keita release a breath.
Probably the first breath he could release that could begin to help him finally relax.
It must have been so hard to be on eggshells for so long.
[I've never had...a normal life, I didn't dare to think about it Sir Nighteye-san...but now...thank you for giving me hope again. I never thought I'd have hope until the day I beat my elder brother...I forgot what hope felt like…]
Even Sir Nighteye was affected by that.
His eyes produced a few tears, which he swiftly wiped away.
"Keita-san, I need you to-"
[...I have to go, someone's coming...]
"Wait, Keita-san!" Sir Nighteye called desperately. "When we come, tomorrow morning, I need you to take those girl, and hide if you can. If not, then at least get as far as you can away from them, there's no telling if he'll attempt to use you or those girls as hostages. It's going to be dangerous, so you need to make sure you're safe. While you're doing that, we Hero's will take care of the enemies, and come for you once the battle is over. Can you do that for me?"
[Yes...I can do that. But, how will I know when you're here?]
"Right...we'll be there at eight in the morning, as soon as you hear a loud crash, do as we discussed. I'm sure some of the Hero's will make a big entrance."
[I understand. Goodbye Sir Nighteye-san.]
The call then cut off.
Sir Nighteye exhaled slowly.
He was happy, he was very close to being able to save him.
That boy who had been killed for so long, didn't have to suffer anymore.
Soon, they'd be able to make their move, they'd be able to make his world better now.
He'd be able to make this boys future, actually happen, and give him any chance that he could deserve.
Him, Eri, and Himiko as well.
The day had arrived, and Keita had brought both Himiko and Eri into his room. He looked at the time, seeing it nearing eight in the morning. He had also informed Rappa about the time, and while trying to convince him to come didn't work, he hoped that Rappa could get away so he could see him again.
"...It's nearly time Kei-chan."
Himiko murmured, Keita nodding.
"Yes, as soon as we hear the crash, we'll have to find a place for us to hide. I think I have a place where big brother wont be able to find us if we move quick enough. Rappa-san is also going to delay him as much as he-" As he spoke, the door began opening, so Keita changed the subject. "-maybe we could have a picnic inside today, it could be fun. Just the three of us." He glanced at the door, seeing that Kai had entered. "Big brother, this is surprising. Is something wrong?"
"No, I just need your help. Come with me."
Alarm bells rang in all three of their minds.
This wasn't apart of the plans.
"I-Is it urgent?"
"Yes, it's to do with some stuff I'd like to organize in the Shie Hassaikai. I said before, that you'd be included more, so come with me."
Keita couldn't be suspicious.
If he was, Kai would figure him out.
He also couldn't allow the others to become involved.
If he was with Kai…
Maybe, just maybe he could make sure that the others got away.
He'd...be alright with the other two escaping.
"I understand."
"Wait, Kei-chan..."
Himiko murmured, Keita showed a kind smile.
"I'll be back soon. Just...be ready for the picnic. And make sure Eri-chan has...everything she needs."
Reading between the lines wasn't hard for Himiko.
It was clear what Keita wanted from her.
Keita walked towards his brother, glancing back at Eri and Himiko, giving them a light smile, before leaving.
Walking through the corridors, Kai spoke quietly with Keita who kept wondering when the Hero's were going to appear.
If Himiko and Eri could escape.
That's all he could care about right now.
Even if he had to stay behind…
Making it to the area, Keita went inside of the room, and saw Kai was looking between different containers while Chronostasis was looking harshly towards Keita himself, Shin was also there, seemingly sorting vials and syringes into containers that could be carried easily enough.
Keita saw that they had different names on them, different kind of blood samples.
"This isn't Trigger, is it?"
"No, this is something that Trigger could never do."
Keita looked around, and then saw his name on one of them.
"...My names on a container….big brother, what is this?"
Kai's eyes shot for Chronostasis who looked away with a fearful look on his face.
"I told you to hide that."
He whispered to Chronostasis who could only bow his head in sorrow.
Kai felt the urge to kill Chronostasis, this wasn't something that Kai wanted Keita to know about.
Kai placed a hand on top of Keita's brown hair.
"Don't be worried, this is just your power."
"My...power? Big brother, what do you mean by that? I don't understand."
"Keita, we've been working so hard, all of the times we've had to do experiments..."
"Experiments...my power...what have you been doing?"
Keita began feeling sick.
He already knew Kai had some sinister motive with his blood, or DNA, whichever it was.
But seeing the different containers…
Keita needed to know what he was doing.
"You sound so worried. Don't be. It's alright."
"Tell me, what's going on. You spoke to those people you recruited, and mentioned my power...now there's a container with my blood or DNA in it...right? So what's going on? You told me the reason you Overhauled me was-"
"Yes, it is for the good of the Yakuza." Kai spoke with a charming voice, but Keita wasn't so sure about that. "Don't worry, it is good for the Yakuza. Your power will help many people."
Keita turned his head, tightening his hand.
"What power could I have that he doesn't? His Quirk can destroy and reassemble...how could my power compare to that?"
While Keita thought about it, they all heard a sudden crashing sound. The building itself began to shake, Keita grabbed a nearby table, pretending to be shocked as he turned to his elder brother.
"W-What's happening?"
Chronostasis murmured, Kai growled, and stormed over to a nearby computer. Switching it on, he saw the images of Hero's storming the ShIe Hassaikai hideout. He saw that some members had already been taken out, while the Hero's were coming.
"Shit...the Hero's...how did they find our location…?"
Keita tried to remain calm as Kai's eyes went over him.
He thought for sure that Kai was going to work out it was him.
But then Kai's eyes shot for the door.
"The Old Man…"
"Old Man..."
Keita murmured, becoming worried for the Boss.
What was Kai going to do to the Boss?
"He did this, because of what I said...I should have Overhauled him when I had the chance..."
"W-Wait, big brother! You can't do that to him! He didn't..."
Kai went towards some of the containers, taking out some syringes, which were labelled different names, and began walking away.
"Chrono, take Keita, and get Eri, get them out of here. I've got to go and see the Boss, then I'll join you."
"What about the others Overhaul-sama?"
"...It seems that we'll have to leave those weaker ones behind. Get the stronger members, the ones we've discussed in situations like this happen, and get them out of here. Shin, you move as much of the products as you can and have them transported away from below with the help of some trusted allies. Also, have Mimic run interference with the Hero's, and he's authorized to use that power, also make sure that he comes back, he's useful to our plans."
Keita once more wondered what kind of power he was talking about.
Shin nodded in accordance to what Kai wished for.
Chronostasis acknowledged what Kai said, and bowed.
"Understood, I'll contact them all and get them away."
Kai nodded as Keita couldn't take it, and called "Big brother no!" trying to make his way towards him as Kai existed, Shin immediately began doing what Kai had asked, taking the vials and putting them into different carrying cases for them to leave the area as quickly as they could.
Chronostasis on the other hand grabbed Keita's arm, and threw him down onto the ground.
Keita's eyes turned back to Chronostasis who pulled out a gun, noticing that Kai had disappeared, seeing that the gun was pointing right at him while getting onto the phone, and began directing the Shie Hassaikai, bringing more and more members that Kai had been gathering to the building to fight the Hero's.
Keita's eyes ran themselves over Chronostasis, and went to move, but his gun cocked itself, ready to shoot Keita down.
"Don't you dare ruin this for Overhaul-sama."
"...So you're going to shoot me?"
"Of course not, I'm just making sure you don't get in his way. Big brother of yours asked me to make sure you get to safety, I take my duties very seriously. So, we're going to go and get Eri, then we're going to leave."
"How are we going to leave? The Hero's have this place surrounded."
Chronostasis chortled.
"Didn't think we thought about that? Overhaul-sama always has plans, it's why we're apart of his group now. The Hero's wont know of our escape route until it's too late. The Shie Hassaikai under the old Boss has come to an end, it's time for Overhaul-sama to take the rightful place."
"...Tell me, how would he do that?"
"Heh, wouldn't you like to know? Now, get up, because we're going." Keita didn't move, and instead stared defiantly towards him. "Are you deaf? I told you to-"
"Move!"
Keita jumped up, swatting the gun away from his body, and forced it to the right hand side. Chronostasis growled, attempting to turn the gun right back towards Keita, but Keita grabbed his wrist, and twisted it so hard that Chronostasis was forced to drop the gun onto the ground, so Chronostasis thrusted a hand towards Keita face to knock him out.
"Get off me you bastard!"
Chronostasis snapped, but Keita deflected the blow from Chronostasis like Rappa had taught him how to do, grabbing him by the shoulders, and dug his knee into the stomach of Chronostasis so hard that he spat out bile from the impact.
"Sorry, can't do that."
Keita bent down while Chronostasis was hunched over from the impact, placing his hands on Chronostasis' right foot, the other on the ground, and caused the ground to bend around his foot, trapping him to the ground.
"W-What are you doing!?"
Chronostasis snapped, as his hair shot for the boy.
The clock like arrow hair attempted to slice into Keita to stop him from moving so fast.
But Keita's hand, still on the ground, caused the earth to become a shield, blocking off the clock hand hair strike, grabbing one of his hands, and repeated the process of causing his hand to be stuck to the ground, effectively trapping him all together.
Keita pulls up, and stares defiantly at Chronostasis who angrily glares up at him.
"There, much better."
"You bastard! Let me go right now!"
"Sorry, can't do that." Keita started again, as he pulled away and moved for the door. "By the way Hari." He turned back to Chronostasis who flared his nostrils at Keita. "It's over, you're finished."
"You bastard! I'll kill you! I swear to God!"
Chronostasis shouted profanities at Keita who escaped through the door, running through the corridor.
Chronostasis tried as he might to get away from the earth, but the ground was too sturdy.
"Shit...Overhaul-sama, I'm going to have to use it..."
Chronostasis, using his hair, shot it for some of the containers, and with fine control, he was able to bring a vial close to him, seemingly ready to use it. But what it did...only a very few select people knew about it's true potential.
Just before they heard the crashing sound, the Hero's gathered outside.
Ranging from All Might, Mirko, Ryukyu, Fat Gum, Sir Nighteye, Best Jeanist, Sir Nighteye's sidekicks, some police to arrest the Villains, among some minor Hero's as well.
They had blocked off the road, and other roads joining towards this one, so the public wouldn't become involved.
This time, they'd be able to get Keita out, while also having the other Hero's block off the different locations of escape.
Ryukyu took the skies, in case there were any enemies that could fly.
But what was surprising to Sir Nighteye was that Mirio had arrived.
"Mirio...what are you...doing here? How did you even know we were..."
Sir Nighteye didn't even know what to think.
"I'm sorry Sir! I know what you said...but, I couldn't...I simply couldn't...sit anything out. Even if I just help outside here with the police...even if I just coordinate...I can't leave and let this boy be in harms way. I vowed to save a million people...this boy could be the first of that million."
"I understand your resolve...it is true that you have your Hero's Licence but still..."
"Sir, I know...but, I'll do everything you say, I just can't sit back and do nothing. This boy...he is in danger, so I want to help as much as I can!"
Sir Nighteye could understand his resolve, he also felt similar.
In the end, he simply gave in, knowing that Mirio might be useful.
"Alright, you just do as I say and help us out. Though, next time, remember that sometimes rules aren't meant to be broken."
"Yes Sir! Leave it to me!"
Sir Nighteye could simply nod his head, while looking to All Might.
"Are you ready All Might?"
"I was born ready."
Seeing his determination, Sir Nighteye was ready as well.
"Great. Then as soon as we begin, we'll have to make a full sweep. According to Keita-san himself, Kai Chisaki has been amassing a group, that all could be armed with Trigger. At the very least, some of them would have Trigger. He also said that Kai Chisaki has an unknown power that could apparently even contend with All Might. I don't know if that's Kai Chisaki bragging or he's being genuine, in either case lets be careful in the way that we move. Having blocked off the exits, unless we don't know of a way, or there's one hidden, they can't escape. Our main priority is to save Keita-san and these two girls."
"Right, lets do this!"
Mirko didn't wait, and shot forward. Using her incredible leg strength, she shattered apart the entrance to the base, where a few people began to pour out of the doorway, each wielding weapons. One had a sabre that came towards her, swinging it down and shot off a wave of energy in the shape of a half moon.
But quickly using her speed, Mirko dodged out of the way, jumping up high, and came down with her foot right into the top of the man's head. Said man tried to block with his sabre, but Mirko's strength shattered the blade instantly, destroying it and then carried on down, landing the kick deep into the skull of the man, and forced him down into the ground with an audible cracking sound.
"Not enough for me asshole."
She grinned, thrusting her hand back as someone attempted to stab her from behind, knocking them out with her fist instantly as she smirked "Not even you." but then she heard a noise coming from behind her.
Turning around, she saw that someone had a gun pointed towards her.
"Oh, you wanna go do you?!"
She went to move, when Ryukyu came flying down, and used her Dragon like hand to crush them down into the ground.
"I've got your back."
Mirko looked mildly impressed.
"Wow, look who comes in for the clutch. Well done Dragon girl."
"Heeeh...Yes, lets keep going Mirko-san."
Mirko smirked at the young woman before her while Ryukyu saw a few flying enemies coming down towards them.
All Might was bewildered for a few moments, before readying himself to go forward…
When he saw a giant hand coming crashing down towards him.
Turning, he saw a giant that had just injected himself with something, possibly Trigger.
The hand came close to grabbing him, so All Might thrusted his fist up, clashing with the giants fist. The pressure of their attacks caused the ground to begin to splinter into different sections, but All Might just growled.
"This, is nothing! Not compared to what that boy went through!"
Putting more strength into his fist, he brought the Villain's fist right back towards the enemy, forcing it high into the air, the recoil of it causing pain to the giant.
All Might seeing his chance, tightening his hand and thrust it forward as he announced "Texas Smash!" with the air pressure being so strong that it created a mini tornado before All Might, catching the giant hand, along with the body itself, shooting it high into the air.
"Wow...no wonder he's the Number One..."
Mirio was immensely impressed by All Might's strength, seeing him taking down a giant Villain like that on his own.
A woman with electric eyes came shooting out and shot them from said eyes for All Might, but he simply disappeared in a burst of speed, avoiding the huge bolt of electricity, getting behind her, and karate chopped the back of her neck, knocking her out all together, along with ten other people in an instant, Mirio being beyond impressed.
At the same time, Sir Nighteye was confronted by a man with lasers coming out of his eyes, ready to shoot down Sir Nighteye. Mirio went to intervene when Sir Nighteye used his skills to dodge out of the way, launching one of his weighted seals at the man's face, hitting him hard enough to force his head backwards.
That allowed Sir Nighteye to run in close, embedding a punch into the man's upper body, sending him down into the ground.
Mirio smiled at the sight of his teacher being able to do something like that.
While Fat Gum was capturing a Villain, he called "Sir Nighteye! We've got these ones, you go inside!" Sir Nighteye nodded, and turned to All Might.
"Shall we?"
"It's been a while since I've had to get this serious. But that boy and those girls are waiting for us. Lets go, Sir."
Sir Nighteye nodded, turning to Mirio and hurriedly said "Do as I say." something that he nodded at, and then went forward together with Mirko, and All Might. Best Jeanist stayed outside to keep control over the Villains, with Fat Gum helping detain them, and Ryukyu using her strength to make them stop long enough to be captured.
Getting inside of the building, they immediately went forward. All Might and Mirko were going to push forward to move at a rapid rate…
But something strange began to happen.
As they entered deeper into a long corridor, they began seeing something coming out of the walls.
Around them, some kind of mist was beginning to appear.
"Mist…? Is this someone's Quirk?"
Mirio asked Sir Nighteye who didn't have an answer.
"I can't see anyone..."
As he said it, the mist began touching them, and immediately, they had a reaction to it.
Each of them felt as if their eyes were beginning to sting.
"T-This mist, it's stinging my eyes...what is this..."
All Might complained, as Mirko rubbed her eyes.
"It's like some kind of...pepper spray or maybe tear gas. But, how's it coming out of the walls? It's like everywhere..."
"I don't know, but we should press forward."
All Might spoke, and went to move, when the ground opened up below him, threatening to swallow him whole. But he pushed off the wall that had formed in the ground, but the hole then began snapping shut to cut off his leg.
Moving his leg just in time, a stone pillar came from up above, threatening to crush All Might in one fell swoop. Because of the strange mist, his eyes stung so much that he could feel the tears rolling down his face, yet his reaction time wasn't dulled that much, allowing him to jump back, avoiding the pillar hitting the ground.
"The ground...it's Kai Chisaki! Isn't it?! Come out Chisaki you little bitch!"
Mirko snapped.
Mirio murmured "Did she just call Kai Chisaki a little bitch?" while Sir Nighteye looked around.
"No...this is different. The way the ground moved then...it wasn't like how when I fought Chisaki. The ground crumbled, then reformed. That was straight up moving the ground. It was more like how Keita-san uses his Quirk...but, Keita-san wouldn't attack us, so I'd have to conclude that it was someone else entirely."
Hearing his opinion, All Might readied himself.
"Then I'll punch my way through this room and shatter-"
"If you do that, then poor Keita-kun is going to be killed by your attack. I'll move him in the way of any of your attacks, he'll die. I don't care if the brat is a human shield or not."
A menacing voice surrounded them, calling to the Hero's in a disgusting manner.
Though Mimic was lying, the Hero's didn't know if that was the case.
"Cowards..."
Mirko spat out hatefully for the Villains, All Might sharing her mentality at that moment.
"...How do we know he's telling the truth?"
Mirio asked Sir Nighteye who shook his head, placing a finger to his chin in thought.
"We don't, but if there's even a slight possibility...Keita-san might be below us, or above us, and he could be caught in the attack, the voice even said he'd move Keita-san in the way, using him as a human shield. We don't know what situation he's in, and if he's being held hostage like the voice suggested..."
"I understand what you're saying. I hate it...but, we have to think more tactically."
All Might begrudgingly agreed, wishing even more to stop the Villains, especially if they were using Keita as a human shield.
"Right, but still..." Sir Nighteye directed his eyes towards Mirko and All Might. "This is just a distraction, we can't rule that out. If this is a distraction, and while we're distracted..."
"They'll be taking Young Keita!"
All Might finished off, with Sir Nighteye furrowing his brows, seeing the ground, floor and ceiling warping around. The gas kept hitting their eyes, and while they tried to cover them, they also had to see what was going on.
"Either that, or getting this...power ready to fight us. Either way, we can't take the chance, they could be here, or Keita-san could be in danger. They'd expect us to just plow through this area, they could be expecting it, and if we injure the innocents here..."
"Our hands are tied. We have to find whoever's doing this, while making sure Young Keita isn't hurt."
All Might wished he could just blitz the area, but he didn't know if Keita was being held hostage. They didn't know if Kai had found out about them, or perhaps Kai simply would use Keita as a human shield, it would be something that Kai would do, in their eyes.
"You guys deal with this! My rabbit style doesn't like this tear gas anyway! I'll go and see if he's with Chisaki or not! I work better alone anyway!"
Mirko bounced forward, and shot off towards the deeper area that she saw. A wall came down just as Mirko moved, blocking off that path. All Might growled, looking around but couldn't see who it was that was attacking them at all.
Mirio though turned to Sir Nighteye, and said quickly "Sir, I could go and back up Mirko-san until you arrive, and I'll contact you if we find Keita-san." something that Sir Nighteye wasn't sure about.
While he did see Mirio improving, he knew right now that a fight between him and Kai...it might not end well for Mirio who was still in the middle of training.
"...Mirio, it's very dangerous..."
"Yes, but if Chisaki gets away with Keita-san again...then this would have been for nothing."
Hearing the determination in his voice, Mirio was truly worried about Keita, and wanted to do whatever he could to help save him.
"...You're right...alright, go Mirio. But whatever you do, be careful. Remember the training, remember to read your opponents movements, and remember, the priority is Keita-san and those girls."
Sir Nighteye didn't like it.
But he knew Mirio was smart, he wasn't an idiot, and his Quirk was quite good, if he came across Chisaki, he was confident that he'd be able to at least put up a fight, though he truly wasn't sure if Mirio could win against Chisaki currently, especially with this kind of power.
"Understood Sir, leave it to me!"
Mirio nodded, and rushed forward, using his Quirk to phase through the wall, leaving Sir Nighteye and All Might to deal with the situation around them. Though All Might and Sir Nighteye knew it wouldn't take that long, they'd soon be there to bring Chisaki down.
Kai himself was hurrying towards the Boss.
Believing that Keita would never betray him, he thought that the Boss, knowing he couldn't stop Kai, had called the Hero's themselves. He was conflicted, he did care for the Boss, but if he had also done this behind his back.
If he was going to lose Keita…
No, he wouldn't lose Keita.
He wouldn't lose what he had worked so hard to get.
But Kai also had a secret up his sleeve.
Something he believed that would allow Kai to stop even someone like All Might.
Taking out one of the vials, Kai stared at it intently.
"Little brother...this power, I don't know if we've got enough to beat All Might just yet...but, we will eventually. For now, we'll make our escape...and start again. Because of your power...nothing will stop us, we'll work through anything that opposes us."
Kai's bone chilling words kept running through his own mind.
The thoughts of fighting All Might now, he knew he'd probably not win.
But he had a trump card that All Might wouldn't be expecting.
Something that could help them leave.
He, was determined not to lose.
He was determined, to stay with Keita, no matter what.
As for Keita himself, he was rusging towards the place his elder brother would be going.
He had to try his best to stop him.
As he ran forward, a few thugs from Kai's group came running down the corridor, seemingly heading for Keita.
"Come on, Overhaul-sama wants us to get you out of here."
"Yeah, come with us boy, now!"
They ordered aggressively, they clearly weren't the Yakuza that Keita knew about, that the Boss had worked hard to build.
But Keita ignored the other, and tapped the ground, causing it to erupt into a few pillars, slamming into them, pinning them to the walls, to their shocks.
"Let us go!"
"Yeah you idiot!"
"Overhaul-sama will kill us if you don't free us!"
Keita just stared at them, shaking his head, and took off running as he went into thought.
"Sorry, but I wont let you bother Himiko-san or Eri-chan either. I wont follow big brothers orders anymore...not again. Not after he threatened to Overhaul Eri-chan...he's going to be stopped."
Thinking that to himself, he hoped that Eri and Himiko would be okay.
As soon as he had done this one thing, he'd come and meet them.
But if he could save the Boss.
The man who had taken both him and Kai in...
He had to at least try his hardest.
Whatever the outcome, Keita hoped that it would work out, and the Hero's would be safe...

So, the beginning of the Keita rescue has begun! With Keita dealing with the move, helping out Eri, Himiko among others, as time passed, and seeing more and more of what Kai was truly doing, questioning more about what Kai was doing with his blood, his DNA, Keita knew he couldn't stay there anymore, so with encouragement from Rappa, he reached out to get some help.
The help came immediately, with the Hero's assembling and as Keita said, the majority of them can't handle the Hero's. But, it does seem that there's something's that Kai has been cultivating.
Somehow, Mimic is producing some kind of tear gas, and Kai is confident that he would be able to handle All Might. While he might be underestimating All Might a bit, he's still confident about whatever it is he's got planned.
We'll soon see what's happening regarding that and what Kai truly has been doing with Keita, what this 'power' of Keita's is, and next chapter, we'll find out the name and some of what Keita's Quirk is capable of, seeing how it differs from Kai's yet also holds some similarities as well.
