The people dressed all in bright orange and yellow uniforms were tying down the planes and where buzzing around me. They all wore masks on their faces.

Was there something going that I didn't know of?

I got the answer to my question only a mere second later when one of the humans buzzing around stopped me.

"Miss, everyone not wearing oxygen masks are required to go inside." He placed a hand on my back, and more forcibly than I would have liked, led me back through the door I just came out of.

Rude. I wanted to meet the humans I read of. I felt like I was stuck moving one direction when I came in through the door again. There was people pushing me from behind, and so much commotion. I noticed an exit to my left and I quickly made a break for it. Once I broke through the exit I realised it was actually just stairs going to the platforms above.

Why not? I raced up the staircase in hopes of finding out what was happening. I was panting once I reached the top but I was relieved to see that the stairs had led to a balcony of sorts. On opening the door to the balcony and stepping outside, I was able to see the runway I was just on a few moments ago. I scanned the area below looking to catch a glimpse of three people in particular.

It took me a second, but I found them. They had moved to the edge of the runway now but they were all still huddled together. Rodgers and Banner where conversing while Romanoff stood slightly behind them.

I placed a hand on the tailing across the balcony once the whole ship started to vibrate. What was that? We're we being attacked? I looked around the runway below me to see the humans reactions. Apart from a few putting those masks on their faces, they didn't seem worried.

Moving my gaze back to the three humans huddled at the edge of the ship I noticed that they were looking at something.

My mouth dropped open.

Huge grey propellers were emerging from the side of the ship. Looking around I counted four in total. This wasn't a ship was it? No this was something better, this helicarrier was something far more interesting. I should of guessed, like a 'heli'copter it was a 'heli'carrier. They both flew. Honestly I was shocked, I had spent three days on this supposed magnificent helicarrier thinking all it did was float on water, when really it was a mean-ass flying machine.

But wasn't it a bad idea to bring Banner on a flying aircraft where he was confined to a small area? Didn't he have, well, anger issues? I could see this going wrong. I watched as the look of dread filled Banners face as he examined the propellers rising from the water. He was talking to Rodgers but I couldn't hear what they were saying from this distance.

I was so distracted trying to decipher what they were saying that I didn't notice someone open the door of the balcony until I felt their presence beside me. He didn't give off a dangerous aura so I didn't bother turning to look at him. I felt him walk up right beside me and follow my gaze.

"There going to make a good team." Fury announced while watching Banner, Rodgers and Romanoff make their way inside.

I looked up at him and shrugged my shoulders. Honestly I thought the avengers initiative was a hit or miss. That many strong, overbearing personalities all on one team expecting to follow orders, there would be a fight of dominance. Something traumatic would have to happen to make them put aside their differences and work together but if they did? They would become a team not to reckon with.

But Fury didn't know I knew what he meant. We stood there in silence for a few minutes until our targets where out of site.

"I have a bet to collect, want to meet the team?"

Fury turned to me expectantly.

"Y-Yes" I spluttered.

Fury turned to walk towards the door and I followed him, only to bump into him when he stopped.

"Oh before I forget, you have something that doesn't belong to you." He said opening his palm and nodding towards my pocket.

Oh Gods, he knew about the ID card. Did he see me on a camera? I thought I was careful. Slowly I pulled out Agent Phil's card and placed it in his outstretched hand.

"I-I found on ground."

"Uhhhuh. . . Well, the next time you 'find' something of importance on the ground you'll be sure to let me know straight away"

He walked away before I could reply. I felt my ears redden with embarrassment. Maybe I wasn't as stealthy as I thought but if he didn't question me about my abilities then perhaps he didn't know the whole story. He definitely would question me on it more if he knew I could change my appearance-I hope.

I followed Fury back inside and down the stairs in silence. Although Fury himself started humming a tune that I hadn't heard before-not surprisingly. We entered the main control room and I noticed Captain Rodgers wondering around the computers with the look of awe on his face.

"We're at level sir" Agent Hill called to Fury.

"Good. Let's vanish."

Wait this ship could vanish?

Finishing checking the controls Fury walked past Captain Rodgers, who handing him what looked like money. Was that his bet he had to collect? I wonder what it was about. I walked to the back of the room in an attempt to stay out of the way. I noticed Fury greeting Dr.Banner and I couldn't help but listen to their conversation.

"Doctor, thank you for coming."

"Thanks for asking nicely, so how long am I staying?"

I was wondering the same thing, the longer the doctor stayed the greater risk he posed to everyone on the helicarrier.

"Once we get our hands on the Tesseract your in the clear."

Walking to the side, I assume to get a better view of the room the doctor questioned, "Where are you with that?"

Fury pointed to Agent Phil Coulson, whom I didn't realise had even came back from his trip in New York. I also noted that he had a new ID card stapled tightly to the breast pocket of his suit. That would be my fault- I had to suppress a giggle so I wouldn't bring attention to me. I wonder if he got in trouble for that one.

"We're sweeping every wirelessly accessible camera on the planet, cellphones, laptops-if it's connected to a satellite it's eyes and ears for us." Agent Phil announced.

That reminded me, I wanted to make Cami as protected from hackers as I could. Guess that's another late night for me.

I noticed that Agent Romanoff was watching me from a distance, observing what I was doing, but she looked a way and continued to say, "it's still not gonna help us find them in time"

The Doctor nodded, "it would be best to narrow the field, how many spectrometers do you have access to?"

It was obvious that Fury didn't know the exact figure but he proceeded to answer, "How many are there?"

"Call every lab you know. Tell them to put their spectrometers on the roof and calibrate them for gamma rays. I'll rough out a tracking algorithm based on emission. At least we could roll off a few places." Looking around to see if Fury and Agent Coulson understood, the doctor then added "Got somewhere for me to work?"

"Agent Romanoff, will you show doctor Banner to his new laboratory"

Moving towards the doctor Agent Romanoff locked eyes with me and waved me to follow. "Your gonna love it doc, we got all the toys"

I quickly moved from my hiding position at the back of the room and followed the doctor and Agent Romanoff out. I could tell as soon as I caught up with them that the doctor was already stuck in his head, probably planning out possible equations and sums to make his algorithm. I walked behind them for a few steps before Agent Romanoff waved me to walk beside her.

"I don't think we've officially met? I'm Natasha, but you can call me Nat."

Hmm. First name basis already. I bet she's trying to seem nicer to me because I'm a child. I don't trust her.

"Kyon" I muttered.

Our introduction must of brought the doctor out of his thoughts as he looked over at me.

"And I suppose this is another agent in training, huh?" He questioned Nat.

"Actually, Kyon is a special case. She's a bit more, exotic"

"Exotic ,Wha-oh, OH" The Doctor looked at me again, a bit more closer and I guess he noticed my pointed ears and inhumane hair colour. To add effect I decided to show off my pointed teeth and I was rewarded with a satisfactory response. His eyes widened and immediately I could see questions brewing in that genius mind.

"Are you serious?" He whispered to Nat. "An alien? From where?"

"Actually, we don't know. She crashed off the coast of Ireland four weeks ago. She doesn't know much English so we won't find out for a bit as well."

The doctor was about to say something else but Nat interrupted " Here we go. S.H.E.I.L.D's finest."

Nat led us into a white room and instantly I got a flash back of my room in Ireland. I shivered in response. This was the lab, it surly looked like it.

I walked over to something that looked like it was meant for your eyes. Looking through it all I could see was darkness. Hmmm, I started fiddling it and managed to turn it on. It was then that I realised it was a light microscope. Huh. Back home we had a device the size of my nail that you place onto your temple which enlarge anything on a molecular level. The humans still had a lot to learn.

I looked around the room and found that the doctor had made himself at home. His coat laid draped over a stool and he already had his head in a screen.

Agent Romanoff had been watching me again, I could feel her eyes on my back like pins. I would need to be extra careful around her. She was a spy through and through, and probably already had suspicions about me hiding something.

Although now that I thought about it, why was I keeping the fact that I could speak fluent English a secrete. In the beginning it was because I wasn't sure if I could trust these humans, and I still don't trust them yet, but I don't think they would experiment on me or lock me up. Well. . . I still couldn't know for sure how they would react, and when they did find out they were for sure going to ask where I was from and a hundred other different things. Maybe Ill hold off a bit longer, I wasn't in danger at the minute so it was probably best I kept it that way.

A cough interrupted my thoughts and I looked up to the source. Nat stood at the entrance and nodded to the door. I followed her out and left the doctor to do his thing.

"I just got word that your training session with Agent Smith is now, I'll walk you to the training centre."

I nodded and we left the lab, this was going to be an awkward trip.
