If you read the AN I posted in my new kamen rider fic or my gundam seed fic then you might remember that I said I would post a few ideas that I need some feedback on in order to continue. I've decided to just do two; naruto x FF7 Remake and Naruto x She-ra.
The basic plot of this fic is that post war Naruto arrives in Gaea 4 years before the start if the game, he does stuff in those 4 years then the game starts. The problem I have with this is the pairings. Normally, pairings aren't really important but in this case, they are since the pairings decide what Naruto does in the 4 years and they are all very different.
I confess that I have not played the original and that any knowledge about it comes from youtube or from friends, but they are from a few years ago, so my knowledge about the original story is really basic.
The plan was Naruto x small harem and Cloud x Tifa or Aerith. As I was playing the game, I thought that some of the interactions between Tifa and Cloud felt off to me. So, I looked up if they actually were childhood friends. As it turns out, they weren't really close when they were younger, and cloud's memories are idealised versions of what he wished happened. When I found that out, I was like, 'great, Naruto x tifa and cloud x aerith.' However, I really like Aerith and when I finished the game I looked up if she had to die. I got mixed responses, but I learned that the arbiters of fate were not apart of the original game. In hindsight, this should have been obvious, but I did not notice at the time. This gave me some new ideas and brought back to square one.
I am completely stuck, and I need help to move forward with this. As I have said before what Naruto does in the 4 yrs before the game depends on the pairings and they are all completely different.
So, there are 3 routes I can go with:
Route A = Naruto x Tifa and Cloud x Aerith
Route B = Naruto x Aerith and Cloud x Tifa
Route C = Naruto x Tifa x Aerith and Cloud x Jessie or Naruto x harem and Cloud x no one
Route C has two choices because it wouldn't take much work to change one to the other. I don't think many people will choose Cloud x no one but I thought I should give the option.
So, please tell me which route you think I should take and if you pick route C then tell me if you want cloud with Jessie or no one.
I am truly stuck and I don't think I will be able to move forward with this fic without your help
I mentioned that Naruto was going to have a harem. To be honest, since I have been stuck on the main girls, all the other harem members are in the maybe pile. They are:
Yuffie, Kyrie, Cissnei, Jessie (not route C) and Scarlet (One night stand, it will make sense)
